#21: Five Techs in five days

Friday at school...

Today guys, I'm in my hero look in the school Journalist Club in a interview with a girl named Lois Lane. Yet at the looks of this, it looks like I came the wrong time. She's talking to this other girl named Leslie Willis, the school's rebel and punk rocker. They saw fall through the ceiling and land in a chair. Feeling the tension in the room I said, "Should I come back at another time?" I saw Leslie grit her teeth and say, "Why are you here?" Is that jealousy in her voice? "Glad you could make it, Tech." "Glad to be here, Lois." She turned back to Leslie. "Look Willis, You've got spunk, gumption, bravado, all the qualities of a great reporter, but gossip columns are too mean, and not to but too fine a point at it, so are you. Anything else?" She just growled tuned and walked to the door.

Sitting down in her desk and taking a drink from her coffee mug, all of a sudden, she just yelped and spilled her coffee all over herself. I saw Leslie taking out her phone with a smirk. Not on my watch. As quick as I was a shot a pixel pellet at Lois and in a snap, she was covered in them and when they went away, the coffee was gone, at the exact moment Leslie took her picture. For some reason after she saw Lois's state, she snarled and stormed out.

Yeah, using a little bit of my pixelation, I can turn anything back the way it was not too long ago.

Anyway, turning back to Lois, seeing her pull out a notebook from her pocket and a pencil from her hair, I said, "Where should I start?" "You solved four major crises in this past week, how can you do all this and not get tired." "Perks of being energetic I guess. But that wasn't actually me that did all that. I was working on a project this past week." "So who was that?" "Technically me. Let me elaborate. My glitches allow me to clone myself so that could be in more than one place at the same time." "Is that why you were wearing different colors?" "Yeah. This week, it was Bronze that stopped the train wreck on Monday, Silver who ended the prison riot on Tuesday, Gold's the clone that put the falling skyscraper back up on Wednesday, and on Thursday that was Platinum who saved everyone from that fire in the restaurant."

In a about nine minutes into the interview, four, count them, four Technos just glitched visible in the room. All of them looked just like the original, but the color of their line patterns and visors were different. They didn't all have green, each individually had the colors bronze, silver, gold, and platinum. Techno turned around and said, "How long does it take you guys to get French Fries?" "Sorry man, we got the fries about three minutes earlier then came here, but we all got a tingle." said Gold. "We went invisible and there was small mishaps happening to people all over this school." Bronze added. "Yeah, there was a guy was in this picture room, some blonde girl with a door, a boy running in the halls, and a dude in biology with a starfish." Platinum continued. "Yeah, we managed to fix it all while undetected. Here's your fries by the way." Silver finished, throwing Techno a small white paper bag. He dug his hand inside and pulled out a box of fries. "Want some?" "Eh, sure." Lois grabbed and ate three and went to her laptop to type her report using the notes from this interview.

#22: Don't turn your back

After school, at Metropolis Mall...

Aaron's in his normal attire. He was called to the mall to grab something for this 'project' of his.

Getting in an elevator, he got a tingle for some reason. Unnoticed, he glitched a clone of his regular self at the same time he glitched on his hero wear while being invisible. With the clone in the elevator, invisible Techno took a look around. That's when he saw the elevator jerk a little. It then started going down then up then started falling towards the ground floor.

He quickly went visible, shot a wire from his glove at it, jumped to the ground floor and used the wire to catch the elevator before it reached it hit the ground. When he lowered everyone to safety, he used his powers and opened the doors to let everyone out. While they all cheered, the Aaron clone dissipated. Everyone was happy, well almost everyone.

Someone pushed past the crowd of people, who was revealed as Leslie, and erupted at Techno, "What's the deal Tech? You ruined my shot!" "What do you mean 'your shot'? Don't tell me you wanted that to happen." "Uh yeah, because it was funny." "You've gotta twisted definition of 'funny'. You're lucky I was in the area." "Says you." "'Says everyone.' you mean. You can't do people like this, what do you think would happen to you if you kept going with this?" "Probably go viral across the nation." "You just missed the point. Let's just say you're actions always have a way of coming back to you." "Whatever you say, Tech." She waved it off and walked out, not caring. Techno shook his head. Some people never learn.

Later in Aaron's basement...

Aaron's got a pair of headphones on his head listening to music while lying down under M.A.D.I.S.O.N.'s wide computer desk welding something together with his fingers. Yes, he can do that. "Finally, done." He said finishing up and getting from under the desk. Aaron took off his headphones and said, "Now that that's taken care of...M.A.D.I.S.O.N., give me an update on Metropolis."

"OF COURSE."

...

...

"THERE SEEMS TO BE A FEW POPULAR VIDEOS ON THE INTERNET."

"Oh yeah? What about?"

"I AM NOT SURE YOU WILL LIKE THIS: THEY ARE ABOUT THE SUPER HERO GIRLS."

She's right. He's not liking this. "...Show me the videos."

There were five videos about five of the girls going against this villain: Livewire. Each of them ended with one of the girls getting humiliated: Supergirl getting electric blasted into a garbage truck, Green Lantern getting shot in the rear and landing in a, less than lady-like position, Zatanna ending up with a spiked hairstyle, Batgirl getting chased by her own scooter, and Bumblebee losing control of her suit and starting dancing.

Aaron's right eye twitched then glitched. Then something new appeared on M.A.D.I.S.O.N.'s screens. It was from Livewire's web show. "Waddup, Metropolis? Livewire here with a major-razor to invite all my shockateers. Glen Morgan Square. Midnight. Come see my most epic prank yet. And Super-Lamo-girls, specially Wonder Wimp and Tech Head, you should come too. If you dare."

Okay, only his friends were allowed to call him 'Tech Head'. Aaron glitched on his suit and walked up the stairs and out of the basement. If there's one thing that Aaron hated, it's people crossing the line and Livewire crossed it more than once.

Midnight, Glen Morgan Square...

Techno, waiting for the scene to unfold, was looking from the top of a building. There were a bunch of people here in front of a huge stage. Using his Techno Vision he saw the Super Hero Girls in an alleyway. All of a sudden, Livewire appeared on stage. "Waddup Metropolis? You ready for the prank night of the century?" Everyone in the crowd cheered. "Let's kick things off as the queen of mean memes unleashes some mean memes."

Techno's body started sparking little by little as the screen behind her showed the embarrassing moments of each of the girls, with the crowd laughing at every one. First was Supergirl. "Ha! Explains the recycled outfit." Next came Batgirl. "I guess Batgirl needs training wheels." Then came Lantern. "Look everyone, we found the cause of greenhouse gases." Behind her was Zatanna. "Who wore it better? Zatanna or porcupines?" Last in line was Bumblebee. "Looks like bees don't dance, huh?"

"If she says or does one more thing..." Techno thought, rage building up inside him.

"But wait a minute, we're missing two. Where are Wonder Weenie and Tech-nerd? Did they have the guts to show up tonight? Come on, Livewire's calling you out." A few seconds after the sound of that, Wonder Woman came out and started walking up to the stage. Livewire said, "Hey, look who's here!" Wonder Woman drew her sword. "Livewire, your reign of cruelty and humiliation has reached its end." "No, I don't think so. If anything, it's just only begun." Wonder Woman charged at her, but Livewire blew an electric kiss, zapping her. Everyone laughed. She was gonna wait for Techno to show up, but he wasn't here yet and she had to keep it up for her fans.

"See Blunder Woman? The people love mean." She knocked her back with a power-packed punch and made her fly backwards. The crowd did not find this funny. "Time to end this." She gathered a bunch of power and shot it all at Wonder Woman. She braced for impact, but impact never came. She looked and it was Techno in the way absorbing the beam. He didn't look hurt at all.

After the beam was gone, Techno said to her, "You might wanna get a snack. This is gonna be a show worth watching." Livewire said to him, "Well, well, well. If it isn't the Smart Spark himself." He smirked. "Nice to know you're a fan. You coulda just called me. Wait a minute, are you too shy to see me by yourself? Is that why you brought half the town here, you're that nervous?" Everyone laughed at that. Livewire, on the other hand, gritted her teeth and charged at him, only to be punched hard onto the back of her stage. Techno got on stage after her.

She got up, and they were about to clash, until, "One second." Techno looked on the screen and used his Techno Control and changed it to a picture of Techno and Livewire charging at each other, with the letters 'VS' in the middle of them. "Okay, let's do this."

#23: The Glitch King versus The Queen of Mean

Livewire's getting payback for everything she did.

She charged at me first and tried throwing her power-filled fist at me, but I blocked it with my own and it happen two more times. She got back and tried shooting a strong beam of energy at me, I blasted my own and they collided. Both of us pushing back and forth trying to keep going. Livewire got more energy by absorbing some from the stage, making her beam go a little farther. Where did I get more energy from? Her beam. My beam started wrapping around hers and when it reached her hands it knocked her back and shocked her a little.

I charged at her and gave her a strong left then a right, then grabbed her arms and flipped her over my shoulder and at the other side of the stage. While she was on her back, I electrocuted the stage, giving her a sting. She got up and I saw she was getting angry. Seeing me smile she said, "I am gonna wipe that smile clean off your face."

She charged at me again and tried to hit me. I ducked under a kick at the face, dodged right at a hit to the side, dodge left at another one, and went intangible at a hit at the chest. I caught her arm in the middle of another hit and gave quick her a hit in the gut. With her holding it in pain, I tapped her shoulder and when she looked up at me, a gave her a flashkick and it made her walk back and fall to the floor again.

I walked up to her and saw that she had her eyes closed. Don't worry, she's faking it. I've got Techno Vision, remember? She raised her arm and tried to blast me, but too bad to her, I was quicker. I grabbed her arm and flipped her again. When landing, she stumbled a little then regained her balance. She charged at me again and I did the same. Our hands collided and we were pushing against each other again.

"Why did you have to show up!?" I blasted her back with my chest. She continued when she steadied herself. "I was gonna be the greatest thing Metropolis has ever had," She tried shoulder charging into me, but I she went through me instead and I blasted her in the back. "Then you came along, showing off with you're fancy app and advanced powers and all of a sudden, everyone thinks you're amazing. Well you know what I think?!" She got up and absorbed as much electricity as she could from anywhere and everywhere she could. "There's only room for one electric star in town, and it's me!" She aimed at me. "So you gotta go."

She shot everything she had at me. I didn't absorb it though. I turned into electricity and rode the beams toward her and when I reached her, I turned normal and uppercutted her in the face. She stumbled back, and looked a little weak. She threw a weak punch me and I caught it with ease. I put my hand on her shoulder and said, "Popularity ain't everything." and zapped her hard making her fly back. I shot a wire out of each of my hands at her and swung her around into the screen. Upon impact, her power ended up making it spark, crackle, and mess up. The screen ended up with a huge crack and Livewire fell from it. At first she landed on her feet, then her knees, then her face.

The screen turned back on and showed a picture of me with my arm resting on a small cage that Livewire was in and drinking a glass of lemonade. At the top it read, 'TECHNO WINS!'. Then in an instant the crowd erupted with cheers and applause. I tried my hardest not to let everything go to my head and do a bow. Wait, where'd Livewire go? She was just here.

"Hey, Tech!" Someone's calling me. Hey, it's Lois. "Check this out." She showed me text on her phone that read, 'Later, losers. You haven't seen the last of Livewire.' I used my powers and replied, 'I'll be waiting.' She can try all she wants, but I'm not sure if there's a single thing that can beat me.
