El Morro and his friends are now at the Olympic Stadium in Tokyo. They have already checked-in their room as a matter of fact. They are here for the opening ceremony of course. The games will begin once the torch is lit by the way. It is how the Olympic Games usually begins. Let's hope that the opening ceremony will be a good one.
"Here we are." said El Morro. "The Olympic Stadium."
"That is a lot of people here." said Rainbow Dash.
"It sure is." said El Morro. "In fact, the opening ceremony is about to start."
"I can't wait for the ceremony." said Sunset Shimmer.
"Same here." said Pinkie Pie. "Cross my heart and hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye."
"I see a lot of athletes from all over the world." said Sue.
"They are here to compete as well." said Diana.
"I didn't know that." said Nancy.
"Now you remember." said El Morro. "They are doing the parade of nations."
"That is how the athletes do during the opening ceremony." said Sunset Shimmer. "Let's join them."
Later after the parade of nations, they saw a Japanese athlete holding torch.
"Look who is here, Di." said Sue.
"That is a Japanese athlete, girls." said Diana. "A retired athlete usually does that except for the one in 2012."
"It was not revealed at all." said Twilight.
"He is almost at the cauldron." said Sue.
"I hope he is careful." said Diana.
"I hope so too, Di." said Sue.
The Japanese athlete lids the cauldron, and the Summer Olympic Games is finally underway.
"It is about time." said El Morro. "He did a good job on that."
"He would've burned his arm if he wasn't careful." said Sue.
"I am glad that it didn't happen." said Diana.
"Me too, Di." said Sunset Shimmer. "Hopefully we can win a lot of medals."
"We just have to win some games, Sunset." said Kerry. "We have been practicing before we left Equestria."
