El Morro and his friends are about to get ready for their first competition. They are about to do canoeing as a matter of fact. They have never done canoeing before of course. It will be the first time that they will do a canoeing competition by the way. They have been practicing for this. Let's hope that El Morro and his friends will be canoeing against their opponents.
"Here we are, boys." said El Morro. "Sea Forest Waterway."
"That is a lot of canoes." said Jonathan.
"It sure is." said El Morro. "In fact, we have never been on a canoe before."
"I hope that I don't break one." said Ben.
"I hope not, Ben." said El Morro. "Besides, you will sit between Joe and Jonathan."
"Thanks." said Ben. "I am worried that the referee would tell me that I am too fat to get on."
"He's not going to say that." said Jonathan.
El Morro and his friends saw their opponents getting on the canoe.
"The canoe race is about to start." said El Morro. "We better get on the canoe."
El Morro and his friends went to get on the canoe.
"Here are the paddle boards." said El Morro.
"I hope that I don't get my sunglasses wet." said Joe.
"You won't." said El Morro.
"Ready, set, go!" shout the announcer.
The competitors began to paddle.
"We are right behind Big MacIntosh and his team." said El Morro.
"Another team is right in front of us." said Jonathan.
"We better paddle faster." said Ben.
El Morro and his friends paddle faster.
"I see Big MacIntosh now." said El Morro. "We better pass his team."
"We are almost at the finished line." said Jonathan. "It is going to be a close one."
The crowd saw El Morro and his friends made it to the finish line.
"El Morro and his team are the winners!" shout the announcer.
"Great race, guys." said El Morro. "You did your best."
"Yup." said Big MacIntosh.
