Becky and her friends are almost done for the day at school. They will meet Beau Handsome at the hospital. They have met him yesterday when they were coming home from the park. They are going to see how Mr. Handsome is doing. Her pet monkey Bob usually worked with Beau Handsome when he was on a show called May I Have a Word. They hope that Mr. Handsome would recover from COVID.

"It is almost 3:00, Violet." said Becky.

"I am aware of that, Becky." said Violet. "Just have to wait for the bell to ring."

"We all had a good day at school." said Becky.

"We sure did, Becky." said Scoops.

The school bell rings, and the students are leaving the classroom.

"Don't forget to study tomorrow's history test." said Ms. Davis.

"We sure will, Ms. Davis." said Becky. "See you later."

Becky and her friends are now leaving school.

"Where are we going now?" Becky asked.

"We are going to the hospital for a visit." said Scoops. "We are going to see how Beau Handsome is doing."

"That sounds like a good idea." said Becky.

At the hospital, Becky and her friends went to check to see how Beau is doing.

"I hope that Mr. Handsome is doing fine." said Scoops.

As they entered the room, they saw an empty bed.

"What is going on?" Becky asked.

They saw a woman crying.

"Sir, why is there an empty bed?" Scoops asked.

"There you are, you three." said the doctor. "I am very sorry to say this but…"

The doctor paused for a moment until Becky and her friends heard the news.

"Beau Handsome has passed away last night." said the doctor.

Becky and her friends were completely shocked about that.

"It can't be." said Becky. "How did he die?"

"Oh, he died from COVID." said the doctor. "We were unable to recover him."

"That is sad." said Becky. "Bob really likes him."

"He does, Becky." said Violet.

"I can call his former contestants to share the news." said Becky.

"Tommy, Phil and Emily?" Violet asked.

"That's it." said Becky. "I will call them when I get home."
