Happy Hallows Eve my dudes! Here's that nine part special I promised. I'm not doing one for my Miraculous fanfic because I didn't see one happening in my head, it didn't feel right for some reason.

There's also not one for my MySims one because I'm overly sure no one cares for it. Prove me wrong and I'll continue it.

Anyway, I planned this out, I worked hard on this, I hope you guys like it.

Enjoy!

#31: Rocky start, but who cares?

Metropolis High, Two days before the 31st...

"One for you, one for you, and one for you." "Aaron, what're you doing?" "Oh, hey Karen. I'm giving out invites, why?" "For what?" I gave Karen one of my invitations. "'Come over on Halloween for the craziest party ever'?" she read, "'Invite only, costumes are optional, address to party is on the bottom'." "Yep, I only invite those I think are great enough to the party. If it's someone I don't know, I invite them based their likeability." "Their what?" "Likeability, the rank someone's on by how well liked they are by people." I looked around and whispered into her ear, "Between you and me, I can see people's likeability ratings using my Techno Vision."

I moved from her ear and used my Techno Vision, "Karen, your likeability's at a level of thirty-nine." "Is that good?" "Eh, kinda. Ratings are out of a hundred." "Oh." "Don't worry, it's not that bad, the average someone can get is around forty. You're still invited if you want." "Are you sure? Because-" "Karen don't let your likeability make you insecure. You've got the invite, come over whenever you want." And with that I walked off looking for random people to invite.

Let's see, let's see, who's next? For the entire school day I've been giving invites to almost everyone in school.

2:57, after and outside of school...

Welp, I guess that's everyone. I'm all out of invites anyway. I was about to walk home but- "Hey, Palmer!" I rolled my eyes and turned around. "What do you want D? I got places to be."

Doris Zeul, the school bully. I 'met' her when I saw her picking on Karen three weeks ago. When I jumped in, she was not happy when I showed her lesson

Our first flashback!

I'm standing in front of Karen, shielding her from Doris.

"Oh looks like we've got ourselves a hero. What's you're name?" "Aaron." "Don't care. I think I'll call you 'Fist Catch'." She threw a punch at me, but I caught it with my right hand. "Hey! You were supposed to catch it with you're face!" I smirked. "Sorry, but my face is busy watching your face get its tail whooped!"

I gave her a left hook, flipped her over my right shoulder, and with her on the ground I gave her one more punch. You know how hard that was to do without my powers? Not ard at all. I had a friend that taught me to fight like this, before I got my powers. I held out her left arm "Mess with my friends again and I won't hold back anymore." "*Grumts* You don't ave the guts." "Wanna bet?" I knocked her out with my fist hiting her face.

I swear I heard someone say "Flawless Victory" somewhere in the background.

End of flashback

You know ever since then, my likeability went from forty-three to fifty-six, and Karen's been around me more. Doris approached me and pointed her left hand at my face and said, "Rumor said you're having a party." "Yeah, and?" "Where's my invite..." Was she really threatening me? I didn't invite her because she's a bully, no one liked her, and her likeability's at nineteen. I smacked her hand away and said, "You don't get one. If I say you're not invited, then you're not invited. End of story, get outta my face."

I've gotta be the only student that's ever stood up to Doris.

I turned away and walked off only to be grabbed by the shoulder and turned to face her. "Doris, now's not the time to mess with me. I broke your arm once, I'll do it again." "Oh yeah? Let's go, you and me. Right here, right now." "I dunno, I'd feel bad if you ended up on a gurney." That got her mad.

Again, she tried to throw a punch at me, but I caught it and elbowed her in the gut. It made her wince and I hit her in the face, twice. I swept her legs and when she fell forwards a sat on her back and held her right leg in a hold and started to bend it. "Say 'uncle'." "...Never- AAH!" I bent harder. "Say 'uncle'!" "Get off me!" I went even harder. A little more and it'll break. "Say. 'Uncle'!" "OKAY, UNCLE! NOW GET OFF ME!" "That's all I wanted to hear." I got off and walked away while dusting my hands. I don't think she can get up now though.

She'll strike back someday, but I'll be waiting. I'm always ready for everything. Speaking of ready, I gotta finish setting up for the party.

#32: An old friend

Later...

We're now at a rented empty warehouse, and it's it actually looks great. It's not really empty anymore, there's a big stage up front with a DJ booth on the left of it, a huge neon dance floor in front of the stage, there's some lounge area in one of the corners, a costume corner and changing booth in the other corner, there's a couple of tables with orange or black tablecloths for snacks, and the whole place is almost filled head to toe with decorations. Aaron and his robot double are already inside, making sure everything's all set for the party. The only question I have is how on earth he paid for all this.

Aaron's walking around with a clipboard in his hand, Aarondroid by his side. "Let's see. Lounging, music, decorations, costume corner, lighting, all we need now is the food and we're all set." "I suggest we prepare the food tomorrow to avoid it decaying and bring it here on the 31st." "Sounds like a plan. Alright then I'd say we're about-" Suddenly, the lights went out. Luckily, Aarondroid's 'eyes' and Aaron's glasses can also be used to produce lights. With a push of a button, Aaron's glasses and A.D.'s screens shined some light, now wherever they looked light was shining in that spot.

They looked around and stopped when they saw a white something on the stage. They looked at each other and walked calmly to the stage. The climbed onstage, and then a voice came from the thing.

"Aaron..."

Sounds creepy. Yet, to Aaron it sounded familiar.

"Aaron...it is time for you to-"

"You done yet Hope?" Aaron said smirking. The thing groaned and changed shape as lights came back on. It took the figure of a completely white translucent girl around Aaron's age with long black hair, wearing a white nightgown from last century, and an eerie white aura around her. "You could've at least pretended to be scared." she said floating up in the air, fake pouting. "And crush your spirit? Yeah, I'm not that kind of guy."

This girl was Hope, a very old friend of Aaron's, and yeah if weren't paying attention, she's a ghost. Remember the 'family of ghost thing' from the second chapter? He was talking about Hope's family. Well, they're not technically family. It's just some friends that she considers family.

How'd these two meet? Well it was four or five Halloweens ago, and Hope her family were passing through MegaCity. Somehow she ended up separated from her fam and that's when Aaron was thrown in the picture. They've been friends ever since. Funny thing, when they first met she tried scaring him, but he didn't even flinch. Her 'family' mocked her because of it, but when they tried scaring Aaron, they couldn't. Aaron doesn't get scared easily.

"It's nice to see you again, Hope." Aaron said. She couldn't stay mad at him forever, even if she was playing with him. Hope floated in to Aaron and giving him a hug, only to go through him. They were both planning on doing that, which made them both laugh. "Why didn't you tell me in Metropolis?" "Well, I wanted to surprise you. At first I thought you were still in MegaCity, so I went to you're house but you're Mom said you weren't there, then she told me you were here." "Why were you looking for me?" Hope floated higher in the air and said, "Halloween's a ghost's favorite holiday! I wanted to spend it with you. You're the best human friend I've ever had." "Hope, I'm the only human friend you've ever had." She gave him a real hug this time. "That's what makes you the best." He smiled and hugged her back.

Hope let go and noticed something. "Hey, why are you in this warehouse by the way?" "Oh, I'm hosting a Halloween party." "A party?!" She said excitedly, going up to his face. "Oh, that's right. You've never been to a party before." "Nope! This could be my chance to make more friends and fit in." "Well Hope-" She quickly got on her knees and begged Aaron, "Aaron, please tell me I can come, please!" "Hope, I was gonna say alright regardless." "Wait, just like that?" "Yep." "No strict rules?" "None." "No short time periods?" "Stay as long as you want." "I can mingle and hangout with everyone?!" "You said this was you're chance, go ahead and take it."

...

...

...

...

...

...

...

Hope then went flying around the room going, "YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES!" Aaron shook his head smiling. "Party's Halloween night, sure you won't miss it." She gave Aaron another hug. "Thank you, thank you, thank you!"

#33: Prep talk

Later at Aaron's house...

"Woah..." "Don't touch her." Me, A.D., and Hope in my basement and Hope's just looking at M.A.D.I.S.O.N.'s computer system in awe. Growing up, we've told everything about each other that includes my acts in heroism. I just told her about my Techno-downloads and the new system I have.

"I've got something I gotta work on upstairs. You sure I can trust you not to trust anything?" "No promises." "I am not surprised. Just try not to trash my basement. A.D with me, we need to choose what to make for the party and cook it tomorrow." Me and Aarondroid went up the stairs and left Hope with M.A.D.I.S.O.N. in my basement/lab.

With both of is in the kitchen we went in my cookbook I made back in MegaCity. It's basically a tablet filled with stuff I made or cooked. I was the only one who could log onto it. We scrolled through it I said, "What to choose A.D.? There's so much to choose from." "Let us start with a drink. I suggest we select two out of your three most popular drinks: the pomegranate water, tie-dye punch, or orange and blueberry lemonade."

Great. Now even Aarondroid thinks I'm an amazing cook. I like to call myself a decent cook, I wouldn't say amazing. If I did, it would go to my head. Yet, I do agree to those three being the most popular.

"Let's go with the tie-dye punch and the orange and blueberry lemonade. Now we need four snacks." Suddenly Hope came flying into the kitchen from the floor with a sky blue ray gun in her hand. "Say Aaron what does this do?" "That's my super scanner. It takes any two things and combines them into something new. Either something normal or something a lot better, don't get any ideas."

Just like the magic mirror, this is also for future reasons.

"Anyway, back to what to what I was saying-"

*Knock, knock, knock*

"Hope could you get that?" "Okay." Why do I feel like that was a bad idea?

"AAAHHH!"

There it is. Hope came flying back in the kitchen scared with the girls chasing after her, all suited up. Hope went behind me and I blocked the girls' way. "Whoa, whoa, whoa! Okay, everyone back up. Give each other some space. Girls, why are chasing Hope? And Hope, why are you running from them?" They looked at me like I was crazy, then asked, "You know each other?" "Hope, these are the girls I told you about. Girls, this is the ghost I told you about. And you thought I made her up Kara." Everyone looked at each other now with the pieces falling into place. I'll just let them talk this out. I grabbed the tablet and Aarondroid's arm and moved us both into the living room.

When we did, we continued our topic. "Anyway, going back, I already have an idea for three simple snacks. Now should we stick to all of them being simple and choose homemade chips and seven-layer dip or make one of them not simple and go with the extreme meat pizza dip and garlic knots?" "I would say the pizza dip would be more enjoyable." "Can't argue with that." Pizza dip is the greatest thing I've ever eaten. Try it with garlic knots and you can officially say you've lived. Okay, now that that's settled, I sent the recipes for the party food into Aarondroid's processing unit via tablet.

"And that's the food checked off. I think it's safe to say we're done. All we need to do is get it ready. And by 'we' I mean you and my clones, 'cause I still need to make sure everything's actually set up at the warehouse." I put the tablet in my bag and me and Aarondroid walked back into the kitchen. "Okay girls, what can I do you today?" "We're going to see a horror movie tomorrow night, you in?" Kara asked. As long as it's tomorrow night, I still have to make sure everything's still in working order for the party. "Eh, why not? Sure, I'll be there."

#34: Mysterious Mischief

Tomorrow in warehouse...

"Well that was painfully boring," Aaron said, dusting his hands off, "but now that I'm done, and the movie doesn't start until nine, what should I do now?"

Suddenly, Hope rose from the ground holding Aaron's supper scanner and said, "Aaron, how does this work again?" Aaron took it back and said, "Careful with that. Hope, I get that you like messing with next gen stuff, but you can't just go ahead and mess with my stuff 'cause it's there." "Well I'm bored. We haven't done anything together since I got here!" "Hope, you know with this party, I haven't had extra time yet." "Not even for a little bit of," she went up to his ear and whispered, "Shenanigans?" "Sold. Got something in mind?"

Look, sure Aaron's a good guy, but with him and Hope together, they can be a pair of problematic pranksters. They did this every October.

"Well, I might have some things in mind."

Cue our first montage!

Cutting to a random park, Aaron burst out of the bathroom, impaled by a fake blood on his shirt, yelling in fake pain, scarring everyone. Two seconds later, he fell to the ground face first and Hope, in her white blob form, rose from Aaron's body and flew above all that were watching. This made everyone scream and run away in horror. When they were gone Aaron and Hope high fived.

Now cutting to a farmers market, Aaron's looking at some fruit at a stand, and all of a sudden, a hand made of fruit grabbed his arm and pulled him into the fruit as if it was bottomless. Then all of it rose up into the form of a monster scarring away everyone at the market. Aaron climbed out of the fruit stand, and high fived Hope who appeared when the 'monster' fell apart into fruit again.

Finally cutting to a mall, Aaron wearing a black hoodie and had his head down while walking to the fountain. When he was there, he glitched his teeth sharp and his eyes red, lowered his hoodie and floated in the air, making some bystanders a little freaked out. They were even more freaked out when he raised his arms, started laughing manically, and turned his head 180 degrees, then his body.

He's fine, don't worry.

At the sight of that, everyone dropped their bags ran out of there. With everyone gone, Aaron lowered to the ground, took the hoodie off, glitched his face normal and high fived Hope, who flew out of his body.

End montage!

"Okay, that was fun." Aaron said to Hope as they approached the movie theater. She was invisible, and he was using his Techno Vision. He also had his phone up to his ear, so no one got suspicious. She had this ability that allows her voice to only be heard by me. "I know right? We should do this more often." "Too bad your friends only let you visit me on the last week of October."

They went inside and met up with the others, Hope still being invisible. With tickets in hand, snacks bought(Babs being an exception, she snuck in burritos from Burrito Bucket), they all headed to the correct theater. On the way, Karen looked a little shaky. Knowing the reason, Aaron put his hand on her shoulder and told her, "Don't worry, we'll be in there with you. You've got nothing to fear." Aaron walked up ahead, not seeing Karen's blush, sigh, or the look she had on him. But Hope did.

She went slightly translucent and said to Karen, "Karen and Aaron, sitting in a tree." Karen made a small yelp and saw it was Hope who said that. "Hope?! What are you doing here?!" She whisper yelled. "I wanted to see the movie with you guys. So you've got a crush on Aaron, huh?" She blushed some more, played with her fingers and quietly said, "...Maybe." Hope wrapped her arms around her and said, "Aww, you're shy. Don't know if he'll except your feelings?" She nodded. "Don't worry, I won't tell him." She went invisible and Karen took a breath then caught up with the others.

"But I doesn't mean I won't try and help you." Hope secretly said, following her.

#35: Using horror for romance, ironic

Okay, seat taken, snacks in hand, all I gotta do is wait for this last preview to go away. Luckily, we all got an entire empty row so fifteen seats to choose from.

"Hey, Wha-?" Looking over, Karen suddenly just moved into the seat on my left. And by moved it looked like she was being pushed, but I don't wanna think about it. I threw a piece of popcorn in my mouth. Ugh, finally. Movie time.

32 minutes in...

Ooh, right in the eye. This is actually pretty interesting. I'm not a person that gets emotional during movies. I don't get scared from horror films, or cry during tearjerkers. It's not because of my powers, but I just call it a perk. Looking at the girls, Kara was the only one who didn't look like someone who was hiding during the purge. To my left however, Karen looked the most scared. Time to lend a hand. Literally.

I reassuringly put my hand on top of hers on the armrest. She looked at me surprised and blush I looked back with one of my smiles. We adjusted ourselves back to the movie, her slower than me. I caught her throwing glances at me, and I pretended not to notice. Yeah I know, she likes me.

Hey, don't give me that look! It's not like I'm leading her on! Look, I found out by accident due to my Techno Vision. What it can also do is tell me everything about someone just by looking at them. Their name, likes, dislikes, occupation, age, even what they think of me. During that time, I forgot I was using my Techno Vision and I looked at Karen and found out that she had a crush on me. Why haven't I said anything? I have to think about my own feelings first. I don't want mine or her heart broken, and I also don't wanna live in a relationship that's not gonna last, at least not again. I've had exactly ten exes, and I bet fifty bucks DoubleA135 is gonna mention them later in this story. I'm just trying to give Karen some faith, okay? So please don't shame me, alright? She'll tell me when she wants to tell me. It's her decision, not mine.

Anyway back to the film. This next part look and felt like it was coming out of the screen, and none of us were wearing 3D glasses.

*LOUD HAUNTING SCREAM*

"AHH! Aaron!" Karen just clung onto my arm, frightened. I smiled even more. I discreetly phased my arm through her and behind her back. That got her to calm down a bit, and blush some more. Yet, she smiled and embraced into it. See? A little faith never hurt. Although a little hope however...

"What? I'm just trying to help." Hope said, being invisible and flying up to me, "I get it, I shouldn't be messing with other people like that, but she's into you! I can't just sit around and not do something." She looked at my expression and said, "Oh, I see. You found out?" I nodded. "You don't know how to respond?" I nodded again. For someone who's been dead for over two centuries, she's really observant. I gave her another look, she understood what it meant and said, "Got it. I'll leave Karen to you. Just don't go breaking her heart, okay?" I rolled my eyes.

#36: Party time!

Halloween night at 8:14...

"Okay A.D., put the punch on tables One, Three, Six, and Ten. The lemonade on the others."

Back in the warehouse, an hour before the party, Aaron, his clones, and his robot are putting the food and drinks on the tables.

"Gold, don't drop those hummus cups!" "Okay man, sheesh." An Aaron with a gold bracelet on said, carrying a towering stack of trays with said dish. "Silver, how are we with those sandwiches?" "Almost done!" An Aaron with a silver ring on his finger said, perfecting the finger sandwich arrangement. "Platinum, you better not be eating cupcakes." "...No." An Aaron with a platinum chain necklace around his neck lied, with a smudge of orange frosting on the side of his mouth. Original Aaron shook his head. "I'm starting to regret giving you guys free will. Now, where's Bronze? He has the pizza dip." "Over here!" An Aaron with a bronze watch on his left wrist said, carrying ten pots of the dish in the warehouse. "Yo, someone give him a hand." Silver ran up and took three of them of his hands. Aarondroid followed in tow and did the same thing. All three of them put one pot in holes in the center of each of the ten tables table. Aaron ran around and used his speed and put two trays of garlic knots on the side of each hole.

"Finally! Job's complete. Call it a wrap guys, the party starts in seconds." One by one, all of the clones pixelated away. Aarondroid's screens turned dark grey and he grabbed a clipboard from who-knows-where. He's the bouncer of this party, making sure who's actually invited.

As for Aaron, he glitched into his costume. His skin's now pale grey and he has a red gash going across his right eye, his glasses have a crack at the left lens, he's wearing a plaid shirt that has a ripped shoulder, with a white T-shirt in it that has a few red stains, his bag's now black with stitches and a tear, his hands are covered in scratches, his pants have rips at the shin, and his shoes are covered in more red stains. He's going as a zombie.

"Let them in A.D., it's party time!" Aarondroid rolled to, opened the door and let a bunch of people in. And I mean a bunch. Some of them had costumes on. Discreetly, Aaron used his powers and made the DJ booth on the table play itself. Y'know, it's Halloween. Why not have something spooky? The majority of the people went to dance, the rest either went tried some food, went to relax, or put on a costume.

Aaron felt a tap on his shoulder and saw it was Karen, and she looked cute. Her yellow and brown striped sweater was replaced with a grey one, she had on a pair of fake whiskers on her cheeks, a black dot on her nose and had a headband with mouse ears on it.

"W-What do you think?" she said, really regretting listening to Zee about wearing this mouse costume. She got more attention than what she's used to. "To be honest, you look really attractive." He said, making Karen blush. How come he can always say what's on his mind without a second glance? "You look, nice." She said, averting her eyes. She's really embarrassed right now and it'll take a minute or two for her to look at him in the eyes again.

"Give me a minute, I am parched." Aaron said, going to get a glass of lemonade. Karen on the other hand was just witnessing what Aaron thought about her, at the same time Zee, who's in one of her magician outfits and had a finger sandwich in her hand, came up to her and said, "See? I told you he'd like it." She popped the sandwich in her mouth. She hummed into the bite. "I'm back, hey Zee." Aaron said with two cups of lemonade in his hands. "Aaron, what did you put in those sandwiches? They were amazing." "Well, I wouldn't call them amazing. Lemonade?" He gestured to Karen. She took the cup and took a sip. You can tell she liked it.

"Hey, where're the others?" Aaron asked. "They had to explain to Diana that town wasn't in danger and that Halloween's a normal thing." Zee explained.

Aaron was about to drink his when Hope appeared behind him making him stop. "Aaron! I've never had this much fun in my afterlife!" He turned to her and said, "Glad you're having fun." He then noticed something in her hand. "Hope, what did I say? Give it here." "But Aaron-" "Give it here!" "No!"

They were having a tug of war with Aaron's super scanner. That's when a problem started. Accidentally, Hope pressed the trigger on the ray and the blast hit Aaron making him let go. He got covered in blue light and when it went away, let's just say his costume looked more than realistic.

#37: Combining Conundrum Controlled

Well this is just great. Now I'm an actual zombie. "Well Hope, I bet not listening to me was worth it." I said. Hope completely missed the point and said, "You bet it was!" She flew upwards in a blur and started blasting people with my scanner. Well only people in costumes. Not that anybody noticed or cared, they were too busy partying.

Karen, who now had actual mouse ears, whiskers, a tail, and had her two front teeth sticking out said to me, "Aaron, please tell me you can fix this." " I'd need to get my scanner back. That, or I find out how long it's set to," I said. Just great, the party's now a huge mix-up, literally.

What I don't get is how everyone's unfazed by this. Maybe it's because it's Halloween in Metropolis and they're used to things like this happening. Wouldn't be the worst thing to happen to them, so I guess I can relate. I grew up in a town filled with machinery, remember?

Anyway, using my Techno Vision I looked at the scanner and saw the time limit it was set to and said, "Two hours. We'll be like this for two hours." "I won't last two hours like this!" Karen said, stress-eating five finger sandwiches. She's part mouse now, she can't control it. "Hey, don't worry. I just need the super scanner back, if I can." I mean look around! There's all kinds of people-turned demi-humans and monsters in this place. It's nuts! Aaand...my arm fell off. "Karen could you get that?" "Okay." She got my arm and put it back in place. Maybe the zombie wasn't the best choice. I shoulda went went with the wolf or panther.

I turned backed to Karen and Zee, who didn't look different at all, and said, "Does anyone has a plan?" "Well," Zee started, "you've known her the longest. Is there anything about her we can use?" "Well she's 257 years old, she's a fan of mischief, her hobbies include scaring, floating, gardening, dancing, singing...wait, that's it!" "What?" They both asked. "I'll get to the DJ booth and get Hope distracted by getting her to sing on stage, while you two get close to her and snatch the scanner from her." "How do we do that?" "Reach in my bag, there should be something." Karen reached in my bag and pulled out two rings. "What are these?" "Phantom rings." I answered, "Put them on and you'll be intangible and invisible like a ghost. Best thing is, Hope won't be able to see you." Both girls nodded at each other and put the rings on and disappeared. Now to put my music skills to the test.

I ran up to the stage, on the way there I almost stepped on a lizard tail, was almost tempted to eat someone's brain, and my leg almost came loose, but I managed to keep myself together. A little zombie humor never hurt, right? I climbed on the stage, headed to the booth, cracked my knuckles and was about to work my magic when Hope appeared and asked, "Whatcha up to?" "You know that song we made last Halloween? The one based off your death and how your parents didn't want you because you weren't perfect like your sister?" "Ooooh! Please tell me I can sing it!" "It is your song. Have at it" "Woohoo!" She flew to the center of the stage.

Play "I Can't Fix You" by CG5

I put on a set of headphones with a mic and said into it to catch everyone's attention, "If all you would please direct yourselves to the stage, we will witness a a special performance sung by one of my greatest friends. Hope, go wild."

(Hope) "I've been trying for so long, to sing you the right song

To show you something different every day

so you hear what I have to say, like puzzle pieces

and now we're here at a standstill I wonder if you feel

the kind of pain that rips your insides out?

that's something I know all about, shocking, ain't it?

Is it because I can't be her?

made your mistakes and make me hurt

I can't fix you."

Everyone started to get into it and started moving and dancing to Hope's song.

"Is it because I can't be her?

made me awake and make me hurt

I can't fix you."

Using my Techno Vision I saw Zee and Karen trying to get the scanner from Hope's waist, but she's moving around too much. She's a ghost, what'd you expect? Something less?

"I can feel my heart breaking, mistakes I've been making

I'm running out of patience to pretend

This isn't how I'll let it end, my feigning fading

You've been mourning your loss here, and that's grinding my gears

how can a human lose their self control

there's nothing left to make you whole, I'm done explaining

Is it because I can't be her?

made your mistakes and make me hurt

I can't fix you

Is it because I can't be her?

made me awake and make me hurt

I can't fix you"

Hope started vocalizing, and I got an idea and pressed a button and activated a laser light show to keep the audience going. This is really getting to me. The girls glared at me as if like I lost my head. I shrugged my shoulders. I can't help but let this happen. It's a habit. A lot of seconds later, she stopped vocalizing, I turned all the lights off.

"This is what happens when you leave it to someone else

if you want it done right you should do it yourself

You oversaturate your world with nothing but machines

You might make everyone happy, but you're dead inside just like me"

I turned on a singular light that showed Hope onstage.

"and now we're here at a standstill, I wonder if you feel

the kind of pain that rips your insides out?

that's something I know all about, shocking, ain't it?"

She turned to me.

"We have a lot more in common than you would be calm with

It's like we're the same person, me and you

We both don't know we can do..."

We nodded at each other. And I turned the lights and lasers back on.

"Is it because I can't be her

made your mistakes and make me hurt

I can't fix you"

(Me) "I can't fix you,

I can't fix you"

(Hope) "Is it because I can't be her

made me awake and make me hurt

I can't fix you"

(Me) "I can't fix you,

I can't fix you"

After some exhausting movement the girls finally got the scanner back, set it to reverse, and they started blasting people left and right. One by one, they're turning everyone back to normal ending with me as I sung,

"I can't fix you"

As the music faded they took the rings off and turned themselves back to normal. I walked up next to Hope and we took a bow as the music ended. The crowd erupted with cheers. Okay, I had to admit, that was a lotta fun. Hope went offstage and I said into the mic, "Well folks, I hope you enjoyed Hope's performance. Let's keep this party going!" I made the DJ booth play itself and followed Hope, who was now being scolded by Zee.

Not caring about what she said, I walked to one of the snack tables and ate some pizza dip. Holy glitch, this stuff's amazing. Feeling a tap on my shoulder, I saw Hope with a guilty look. "Sorry for not listening." "Water under the bridge, Hope. Just don't let it happen again, alright? I know you're known for trouble, even before you died, just don't get carried away at times." "Okay."

I just realized I still have these headphones on. I like it. That reminds me, give me a minute.

I was running out of stuff to type so I put something else for the last two parts.

#38: Creature of the night

Aaron moved the headphones' mic to his mouth and said, into it and said, "Okay everyone find a partner and get to the dance floor. Just because it's Halloween, doesn't mean we can't do something sweet. Time for a slow dance." When Aaron changed the music and the color of the dance floor, pairs of boys and girls held each other and slow danced.

Zee saw this as an opportunity and gestured Karen to dance with Aaron. "Zee, I can't! One: I can't dance! Two: It's not like Aaron'll just agree to dance with me that easily!" "Hey girls, what's up?" "Hi, Aaron. We were just talking about how much Karen would love to dance with you!" "Zee!" "Oh really? You could've just asked you know?" Karen was at a loss for words. Zee continued, "Oh, one problem. She can't dance." "That's not a problem in my book. I can teach her on the dance floor. C'mon." Aaron grabbed her arm pulled her to the dance floor. Zee waved them off with a smirk.

Once on the floor, Aaron held onto her, making her blush, and said, "Now you move your arms around me." She hesitantly put her arms around him and he continued, "Now watch your feet and copy me." While moving he said, "One, two. One, two. One, two. Keep going."

They danced for a good few minutes and to be honest, she was getting the hang of it. They got in closer and she put her head on her chest, he's like nine inches taller than him.

DoubleA changed the height thing from the first stories. Looking back at it, something about it didn't feel right.

Anyway, after the party at 11:55,...

I know, that's late.

Aaron, Aarondroid, Karen, Zee, and Hope walked home like everyone else. The second they were all gone, Aaron's clones were on clean up duty. When from a far enough distance, Hope said, "Well, this is where we part ways. Aaron?" "Bringing it in." he said giving her a goodbye hug, "See ya next October, Hope." "Bye, Aaron." When they released, Hope flew up and off into the horizon as the rest of the group waved.

"So, what did you two think of tonight?" Karen couldn't answer, Zee simply said, "It was really nice. Right Karen?" She nodded. "Well, I'm glad you two enjoyed it."

"WARNING: Unidentified mutated organism incoming." Aarondroid alerted. "What're you talking about A.D.? What the-?" This, thing just dropped down on the street in front of the four, spooking them. It looked like a humanoid bat creature which didn't look or sound at all like normal. It screeched at them and flew upwards. "What on earth was that?!" Karen almost yelled. Zee was already on the phone, calling the others, "Guys, get here now! Some bat creature came from nowhere and almost attacked us get here now!" She hung up. "Okay we need to- Where's Aaron?"

The three of them looked ahead and saw Aaron, who was no longer in his zombie costume, as Techno running across the rooftops chasing after the creature overhead. He blast jumped so high that he managed to get up to it and tackle it down to the ground, hard. When he did, Techno pulled out a syringe from who-knows-where and took a sample of his blood, just enough to fill it up. When there was enough, the creature pushed him off, screeched at him and flew off again.

"What was that?" Batgirl said showing up with the others. "Some kind of weird Man-Bat creature thing. I got sample of his blood to find out who or what the hey that was. M.A.D.I.S.O.N.?" "On it...This sample is highly mutated, however there is a partial match: a Doctor Kirk Langstrom." "Okay, obvious that something went wrong. Any properties the doc owned?" "There seems to be a basement laboratory he and his wife leased in Chinatown." "Welp, I guess we know where we need to go." Techno said.

Chinatown...

"Well this is the place." All of them, minus Aarondroid, were standing in front of a metal double door. They pushed it open and there was an elevator which lead down to the lab. When they reached the bottom floor, up ahead was a long, creepy, dimly lit hallway. Everyone looked at each other, then walked to the door at the end of the hall. When they went through the door, the entire lab inside was in a really bad shape. "What happened here?" "Girls, I found a camera." Techno said, showing it to them. He turned it on and used his powers to project the camera feed on the slightly cracked screen on the wall.

It showed a man wearing a lab coat who just sat in front of the camera. That's Dr. Kirk Langstrom. Then a woman who was also wearing a lab coat went up to him, his wife Francine, and said, "I am so proud of you, honey. Go on." She gave him a kiss on the forehead. "Tell them what you've done." The man was a little nervous, but he said, "Errr... Hello, world. No that's terrible." "Go on, just be yourself" "Okay. Full genetic re-splicing was a success. The recombinant molecules-" "Honey, you're doing it again. How about in English?" "Yes, of course, sorry. So, what we've done, is merge the D.N.A. of Desmodus Rotundus, sorry, the vampire bat, into the human chain. This breakthrough could- will prevent and cure deafness in all humanity. How was that?" "Perfect sweetie."

The camera cut to Kirk getting set up to a in a chair with wires and tubes all around it. His wife watching from the side, holding the camera. Some yellow fluid went into the chair, then got transfused into Kirk. Everything looked good, that is until he started twitching in his seat. "Kirk? Honey, are you okay?" Francine put the camera down on table, not facing her or Kirk. Offscreen, Francine exclaimed, "Oh my God! Kirk?!" There was a lot of noise, struggling, and screeches coming from the other side of the camera. Then, the camera fell on the floor and showed Francine on the floor with lifeless eyes. There was another screech, the camera went off, leaving everyone standing in shock.

"Um, guys..." Green Lantern pointed to floor, where lied Francine's body.

#39: Weirdest night ever

"Okay, I think it's safe to say that Kirk had no idea of what he was doing." I said, "I mean sure, he was trying to cure deafness, but you can't just merge D.N.A. like that without expecting something bad to happen! Now we have a Man-Bat on the loose." "Guys, there's a computer here." Batgirl said. We all went over to it. It needed a password, but with my powers we got in easily. "This shows all of Kirk's research." Batgirl stated.

"I wonder..." I said, putting the blood sample I have into a stand that was linked to the computer. The screen showed a D.N.A. structure of Kirk's, then a structure of a vampire bat's D.N.A., which became a mutated structure of the creature's mixed D.N.A., which I'm just going to call Man-Bat. Using a couple of my glitches, and my knowledge of genetics, I did what I do best.

"What are you doing?" Bumblebee asked. "If I can separate the Man-Bat's signature from Kirk's D.N.A.," I started, "I can make it into a cure for his condition, and use it to make him human again. And...done." The blood was now turned into a blue fluid. There was enough for two tubes. I picked them up and said, "Now all we gotta do is get the doctor to take his medicine." "There is one problem." Wonder Woman cut in. "He's seems not to be in control of his actions, he could be anywhere." "We don't have to look, we just have to listen. Come on."

Later on the streets...

"Anyone hear anything yet?" "Not sure why we're listening for this thing." "Well Kara, bats have not-so-good eyesight, so they use their ears to get around. They make sounds from their mouths and when they hit something and the sound bounces back to them, they can tell if it's something to stay clear of, or head towards."

SCREEEECH!

"Speaking of which." Overhead in the distance, we saw the Man-Bat flying past a tall building. "I got this." Supergirl said, taking one of the syringes from my hands and flying to the Man-Bat. "Hey, careful! These are the only samples I could make." Supergirl flew up to Man-Bat and slammed him into the building and held him tight. She took the syringe and injected it into his neck. When it was all gone, she let go. Man-Bat however stayed the same, screeched at her and rammed her to the ground then flew away. I managed to catch her and say to her while we went back to the others, "And that right there is why you shouldn't rush into things." "I thought the cure was supposed to turn the doctor back to normal." Zatanna said. "Why do you think there's two of them? One dose isn't enough, we have to find him again." Yeah, this is gonna take a while.

SCREEEECH!

"Scratch that. He found us." Yeah, this is gonna take twelve seconds. Man-Bat dove right at us and I saw opportunity knocking at my door. I ran backwards to get a running start. "Someone give me a boost." Wonder Woman got in front of me, shield ready and crouched down. Running up at her at full speed, I jumped on her shield and she helped me get high enough, and when I did, I tackled Man-Bat again and when we hit the ground I shoved the syringe in his neck. He calmed down a bit, then stopped. He was unconscious, but it's hard to tell 'cause his eyes are wide open. If you doubt me, just remember who has the Techno Vision here, a-ight?

"Now all we gotta do is wait." I said, getting off the doctor dusting my hands. "Should we tell him about, what went down in the lab?" Lantern said. We all had sorry looks from that. What should we tell this dude? 'Sorry fam, your breakthrough went downhill and you killed your wife in the process.'? On one hand, I wanna tell him the truth. On the other, we can't just break it to him like that!

We heard a groan and saw that on the ground was Dr. Langstrom who turned back to normal and was a human again. He was not wearing any clothes though. Rolling my eyes as the girls turned away disgusted, I used my powers and put a pair of pants on him. When he saw me he said, "Techno...Is that...you?" He passed out. We all looked at each other again.

Later at the police department...

Kirk's in a glass isolation cell curled up on the floor and he doesn't look at all like he had a good Halloween. "Will he be okay?" Wonder Woman asked. "Physically? Yes. Mentally? We'll get there." I answered.

"Wh...Wh...where's Francine? Wh...where is she?!" We all looked at each other again, they nodded and I answered. "She's dead, Kirk." "No...she cant be...I didn't..." He put his hands on his head. "What have I done?!" "The serum changed you. You didn't have any control." Bumblebee said. Kirk turned to his side and cried, "What have I done?! What have I done?! What have I done?! My sweet Francine...sweet, sweet, Francine..." We all felt really bad. We just decided to go.

One things for sure, this was a twisted Hallows Eve.

Two days later...

I decided to come back and check up on how the doc was doing.

Heading up to the cell I said, "Hey Kirk, you doing alright?" "No." He said, still upset. "Sorry Kirk, but this is the best place for you until we're sure you're save to let out." "I only wanted to help people...and I've killed the one thing I've ever loved." "It wasn't your fault, man. I know you didn't mean to hurt anyone." "But I did, nothing can change that. I'm a freak...a monster. They should leave me to rot in here."

Okay, I've had enough of this dude's crying.

"Kirk, don't say that. One little slip's all it takes and mistakes are a part of life. That's the thing that can't be changed. Sure you killed your wife, and sure you've hurt innocent people, but you didn't do it on purpose. You can't change the past, but you can alter the future. If an accident happens, don't say nope to hope. Just keep going on and you'll find your way." He was silent for a while, then he said, "Thank you Techno. I'll keep that in mind."

I smiled. "Glad to hear it. Oh uh, by the way, I revived your wife." He gasped. "Really?" "Yeah, my powers can fix the state of anything something or someone's in, even death." "Oh, thank goodness." "Yet, you can't exactly see her yet. Until your jail time's over she's gonna be in Gotham City for a while." Not sure why Gotham out of all places. Have you seen what it's like? Don't tell Babs I said that. "I'm just glad she's okay. Bless you Techno." "Don't mention it, doc."

It's official. I've run out of stuff to type. If you guys like the special or not feel free to tell me what you think, and tell me what you liked and what I could've improved on. JBlaser if you're reading this, I have two things to say to you.
