Full Chapter Title: Chapter IV: 30 Miles Away From Steamhoma City
(big, loud zap)
*Riga's ship gets out of the other end of the portal*
Riga: Josh, how far are we from Steamhoma City?
Josh: 30 miles out.
(all groan)
HJ: We can Steamhoma City from 30 miles away. Look! *points to Steamhoma City*
(all exclaiming)
HJ: We should be there any minute now.
Narrator: Meanwhile in Steamhoma City...
Mayor Austin: *looks through a telescope* What!? Impossible! Riga's ship got rebuilt? But how?! How?! *stops looking through his telescope* Like, I know that they're 30 miles away. *to the Fuse Bots* Fuse Bots! Get them!
*the Fuse Bots start flying to Riga's ship*
*Fuse Bots do warp speed to get closer to Riga's ship*
Narrator: Returning to where we were at seconds before...
Josh: Uh, HJ?
HJ: What is it, Josh?
Josh: Look!
(electricity cackling)
(alarm blaring on the ship's dashboard as Riga pilots it)
Riga: Proximity alert! I repeat, proximity alert! PROXIMITY ALERT!
(Fuse Bots zoom out of their warp speed)
HJ: Guys, quick! Man the cannons! They're downstairs!
*the others go downstairs and man the cannons*
Drew: *speaks to HJ on a walkie talkie* HJ, tell us when, okay?
HJ (on walkie talkie): Okay.
*on the main floor*
HJ: Wait for it, wait for it, wait for it.
Tom (on HJ's walkie talkie): There are, like, 3,000 of them, HJ!
HJ (speaking to Tom on his walkie talkie): That's because there are. Tell the others to have the cannons facing the Fuse Bots.
Tom (on HJ's walkie talkie): Okay. *to the others, while downstairs* Guys, have your cannons face the Fuse Bots!
Others in unison: Okay.
HJ: Wait for it, wait for it, wait for it, wait for it, wait for it!
*HJ realize that the Fuse Bots are 30 meters away*
HJ: Now! *speaks into his walkie talkie to everyone* Guys! Open fire!
(all cannons firing)
*many Fuse Bots get defeated from the cannons' ammo*
HJ (speaking into his walkie talkie, to everyone): You guys defeated 25 of them. 2,975 to go! Keep firing!
(cannons continue to fire)
Tom: *aims his cannon at multiple Fuse Bots* Take this! And that! And a little more of this! And a little more of that!
(multiple arrows firing from dispensers)
(Fuse Bots fire their lasers)
HJ: Engage force field!
Riga: Engaging force field. *presses the "force field" button*
(button beeps)
(force field humming as it activates, cannons firing, lasers firing)
Jamie (speaking into his walkie talkie to HJ): HJ! We defeated 700 of them!
HJ (speaking into his walkie talkie to Jamie): Good! You and the others have 2,300 to go!
EPF: Force field complete!
Fuse Bot #1: They their force field!
Fuse Bot #2: Let's fire at it until breaks!
HJ: Keep firing, guys!
Others in unison: Okay!
(cannons' fire still continue)
(arrows being launched out of dispensers)
HJ: Nice, guys! You're all shooting 20 of them at once!
Josh (on HJ's walkie talkie): We defeated 1,000 of them, HJ!
HJ: Good! Keep firing! 2,000 to go!
(cannons and lasers firing)
Fuse Bots: Ka-zap, ka-zap, ka-zap!
EPF: 1,500 Fuse Bots defeated! We are 25 miles away.
HJ (to EPF): We're halfway there, EPF. Half of the 3,000 Fuse Bots have been defeated.
(cannons firing)
(multiple explosions)
Drew and Duke in unison: 1,000 to go!
HJ: *walks downstairs* 2,000 of them are defeated! Keep firing!
(cannons firing, multiple explosions)
HJ: 500 to go!
(cannons firing)
HJ: 400 to go!
(cannons firing)
HJ: 300 to go!
(cannons firing)
HJ: 200 to go!
(cannons firing)
HJ: 100 to go!
(cannons firing)
HJ: 40 to go!
(cannons firing)
HJ: 20 to go!
(cannons firing)
Josh: 2,999 down, one to go.
HJ: Wait, where's the 3,000th one?
Josh: On its way, HJ!
HJ: Guys! Cease fire! I repeat! Cease fire!
(everyone stops firing their cannons)
HJ (speaking to Riga on his walkie talkie): Riga! Disengage force field!
Riga (on HJ's walkie talkie): Okay.
EPF: Disengaging force field.
(force field hums as it disengages)
EPF: Force field disengaged.
(everyone else go upstairs)
Josh: We've got a big Fuse Bot coming, HJ. It's a kilometer away.
(map beeping)
Josh: It's getting closer. Looks like it headed towards the front of the ship.
HJ: I got this one! *runs to the front of the ship and gets on the front bow*
Narrator/EPF: 30 seconds later...
Josh: There's the giant Fuse Bot! It's been 30 seconds! *in fear* And it's getting closer! Ah!
Giant Fuse Bot: (charges up lightning ball) (ding!) *low pitched voice* Ka-zap!
(giant lighting ball comes to the ship)
HJ: *draws his laser diamond sword and opens up like a lightsaber* *runs off the bow when the giant lightning bolt comes closer* (grunting) *puts his laser diamond sword behind him with both of his hands* *strikes giant lightning ball back at the Giant Fuse Bot*
(massive explosion as the Giant Fuse Bot gets defeated)
*explosion pulls back HJ towards the ship and HJ turns off his laser diamond sword and puts it on his sheathe*
*Josh and Jamie catch HJ*
Josh and Jamie in unison: We got you, HJ!
HJ: Whew. I almost lost my laser diamond sword.
Josh: Okay, there's none left.
(all cheering)
HJ: Now we are 20 miles out. Let's make these last 20 miles count!
Narrator/EPF: Sometime later...
HJ: Okay, now we are a quarter of a mile out.
