Full Chapter Title: Chapter V: Battle for Steamhoma City Part I
Mayor Austin: (laughs) Chase. Can we use my new Power Emerald/Diamond Hybrid? Are you ready?
Chase: You bet. All set. Toss it here to me.
*Matt tosses the Power Emerald/Diamond Hybrid to Chase*
Chase: (stammering as he tries to catch the Power Emerald/Diamond Hybrid and finally catches it) Ooh, man, that could've been really bad if it broke. It's rare.
(Power Emerald/Diamond Hybrid humming)
(metal clanking as Chases uses an anvil to get the gear ready)
*Chase puts the gear to the only missing gear spot*
*Steamhoma City flies again with its unlimited power*
(steam hissing)
(horns toot loudly)
HJ: *looks through his telescope* The city is floating away. We need more power, more boost.
Josh: Looks like we're too late to get the Power Emerald/Diamond Hybrid.
HJ: Riga, give us more boost.
Riga: Jack, pull that crank that next to you to give the ship more boost.
Jack: O-kay! *pulls the crank next to him*
(metal squeaking)
(jet exhausts roar as the ship boosts)
HJ (to Riga): Just set her down over there, Riga. Nice and easy. Very easy. Easy now.
(jet exhausts stop roaring)
HJ (to Riga, as her ship gets close to landing on Steamhoma City): Easy, easy, easy. Nice and easy.
*Riga's ship gently lands*
Mayor Austin: Ah, this is the sweet life of the party. The city is running very smoothly and us bros have all the time in the overworld just to relax.
Chase: I still help a bad feeling of mine about whatever happened to my apprentice. I mean, I don't know why, but he kinda felt like a son to me.
Mayor Austin: Chase, I told you never to ever mention that man in my presence again. *tosses his soda can on the ground* I mean, it's very sad, but he is gone forever. He's in that garbage dump village near São Paulo, Brazil.
Narrator/EPF: Meanwhile on the southwestern edge of Steamhoma City...
HJ: Okay, guys. This is it. We gotta get to the center of town. It's over there. Let's run. But, be careful, guys.
*the gang starts to run to the center of town*
Narrator/EPF: Five minutes later...
HJ: Whew, we made it. *breathless* We...made...it. (catches his breath)
(the others catch their breath in unison)
HJ: Better climb on that announcement podium. *runs to the announcement podium and climbs the ladder on the back side of it*
(sound of ladder being used)
HJ: *gets to the top of the ladder and runs to the center of the top of the podium* Attention, citizens of Steamhoma City!
Mayor Austin: What?!
HJ: Attention, please, uh, up here.
Mayor Austin: *looks through his gogles with his zooming feature* It's the man. I spotted him with my goggles.
HJ: Mayor Austin has been involved in highly questionable activities
(all gasp)
Jerome: Is he stealing tabloid newspapers? Because someone keeps stealing my tabloid newspaper.
HJ: Uh, no. That's not it, Jerome. He intentionally sabotaged Steamhoma City despite its two back-up powers it has and/or had and caused it to almost caused it to crash. He attacked everyone in Garbage Paulo Town. P.S., He falsely accused me.
Kate: Don't worry. All of us survived. That's good news.
(general conversation)
Citizen: I can't believe an elected official did something bad.
Chase: Is everything that he said true?
Mayor Austin: So I framed an adult for a crime. (chuckles) Big deal. We've all done it.
Chase: I just can't believe it. My apprentice was innocent this whole time. This whole time, my apprentice was innocent. *to Matt* I'm sorry, Matt, but I—I can not hang out with you anymore.
Mayor Austin: (gasps) Chase, wait! Please. *Chase walks down the stairs* Please come back. We can both get through this.
*Jack puts down HJ*
Chase: *walks up to HJ* Oh, HJ, I'm very we launched you out of the city. I still hope you'd consider being my apprentice.
HJ: Are you kidding? I would love to.
*HJ and Chase hug*
All citizens in unison: Aww.
Citizen #2: That's nice.
Narrator: As Mayor Austin was upset that HJ's relationship with Chase was together again, he planned an attack immediately. To be continued in the next chapter...
