Months flew by, before they knew it, they were seventh graders and it was July. It meant only two things - it was their last month in Hogwarts and the Annual Ball is around the corner.

Sirius has asked Alexandra as soon as he heard the news, and James has asked Lily only 3 days before the ball.

'It's still hard to believe that you are going out with James, it's like we have just witnessed a miracle!' Alexandra grinned at Lily in the afternoon of the ball. 'Yeah, old Snivellus is going to blow a gasket when he found out. You guys are lucky that we have to wear masks,' Sirius laughed.

Lily glared at him and said, 'At least we haven't been snogging all over the place like you two!' Alexandra smirked, 'You can talk! You guys have been shagging in bed!' Lily turned red, 'Did not!' 'Did too!' 'Did not!' 'Did too!'

'This might take a while, let's go, Padfoot,' chuckled James as he slapped Sirius's shoulder. 'See you at the ball, ladies!' Sirius called over his shoulder.

The clock rang six times. Ball time.

Alexandra adjusted her navy blue mask and nervously slathered on a layer of lip gloss. She was ready.

As she opened the door of the Great Hall, many students stared and whispered. But Alexandra didn't care - she had to find Sirius first. She wondered around the Hall for a while, and her eyes set on a young man with a leather mask. Her heart skipped a beat - Sirius looked awesome! He wore a tuxedo and his hands were in his pockets. He looked wild but very handsome.

Sirius, meanwhile, was gazing at a group of girls, apparently bored. Then a lady with a navy mask and an off-shoulder, silver arctic blue silk dress made her way to him. Woah! Sirius thought, Alexandra looked great!

They stared at each other for a moment, then Alexandra playfully curtsied. 'Mister Black, ' she said. Sirius grinned and bowed, 'Missus Arlington, ' Both of them laughed.

It was a wonderful evening, considering that the food was delicious and the music was superb. At 8:30, Sirius got irked because many girls keep on asking him to dance with them. 'Let's go outside and get some fresh air, 'he muttered. Alexandra nodded and they left the Great Hall.

They found that couples were in the corridor, snogging and chatting. This seemed to make Sirius very uncomfortable because he kept avoiding the scenes where people were kissing.

Alexandra stopped at the end of the corridor and asked, 'Sirius, are you feeling okay? You seem to be sweating an awful lot!' Sirius strained a smile, 'I'm fine,' Alexandra eyed him suspiciously but was quickly distracted by the sight of Lily and James snogging. 'Caught red-handed,' she muttered, then she turned around and suggested, 'let's go back to the ball,'

Alexandra was half-way to the door when she heard Sirius calling her name. She spun around and was shocked to find him on one knee! Sirius took out a box from his pocket and opened it. Inside was a gold ring with a blue sapphire on it. 'Alexandra,' Sirius whispered, 'Will you marry me?'

Alexandra was speechless. She kneeled and placed her lips onto Sirius's. He knew the answer and hugged Alexandra tightly.

The wind howled, making branches bend into a heart, just above the loving couple.

Author's Note:

I have never thought of Alexandra marrying Sirius, but I thought that it might be fun to write. I hope that you guys like it!
