The day came to an end, the three girls walked out of the private class, and the F4 following behind.
"Hey, Iryn…Ga Eul" Jan Di called her friends "My driver is here so I'm going do you want to come?"
"No, we know your grandfather will keep an eye on you if you sneak around again" her friends teased her
"Hey…I will walk you to your car" Ji Hoo said with a smile and his friends grinned at him. Iryn looked on, she was completely stricken by Ji Hoo's features, he was more handsome than the others, his smile, the way he carried himself, and even his deep voice yet gentle. Iryn had had many boyfriends but she never got to spend so much time with them because it was wash and wear and they would woo her to get her attention but here Ji Hoo's attention was all on her best friend Jan Di
Ji Hoo opened the door for her to sit but before she could sit, he touched her arms and smiled at her "See you" he kissed her cheek
"Bye" she blushed and turned away
Jan Di had gone to bed but was chatting with her friend and then a text came in
Hey, are you sleeping?
'Who is this?' she replied
'It's me, Ji Hoo. Don't forget our deal'
'I won't' "this guy is something; he is asking me to cook for him" she complained
Next morning…
Jan Di rushed to the school, she had discovered it had a staircase with a beautiful view so she decided to rush there and take a look at it.
"Wow, this is so nice" she gushed and watched students walk in and out of the school, her friends hadn't yet arrived so it was best to stay up to watch everyone walk-in
"Hey, are you going to keep watching students walk in like that?"
Jan Di turned around only to see Ji Hoo was in the corner of the staircase, it looked warmer and he seemed to have been sleeping on a mat. He invited her to come closer, "Good Morning Ji Hoo"
He smiled and greeted her with a kiss on the corner of her mouth, Ji Hoo gazed into her eyes, she felt uncomfortable and looked away, tucking her hair behind her ear
"Have you had breakfast?" she asked
"No, not yet" he wondered if she would ask him out for coffee in the morning but instead he saw her digging in her bag pack and pulled out a bottle of juice, coffee, and a paper bag that had pancakes
"Here this is for you"
Looking down at the food, Ji Hoo wondered if she knew pancakes are his favorite "Thank You"
"I'm going" she prepared to rush off but Ji Hoo held her wrist
"I hope you can teach me how to make pancakes one of these days" he put a card in her hands
"What is this for?" she looked at the card and clearly, she could see it was a key
"Come over. I mean if you wish to teach me how to cook" he said feeling uncomfortable
"Okay" Iryn had come to see her friend give Ji Hoo breakfast, she felt jealous of her friend not only was she social but the Yoon Ji Hoo who broke up with the most beautiful woman in Korea had his eyes on Jan Di who wasn't that beautiful compared to her and he looks at her as if she was the only woman in the World
3months later
'Sunbae, let's stop seeing each other because I finally know that you don't love me and the one you love is my best friend Iryn. I'm better off without you. Jan Di left a note on Ji Hoo door with a necklace he had given her a month ago after they spent an Easter season together
Flashback
Iryn had confirmed that she was going out with Goo Jun Pyo. Yoon Ji Hoo who was madly in love with Jan Di after 2 weeks of being friends, couldn't stop thinking of her. Things were going well with the three girls and the F4, they had introduced them to school as the protégées of the F4, some had sneered
One week later
Jan Di, Iryn, and Ga Eul sat in their apartment playing games and all that
"I need to make dinner," Iryn said to them
"Uuuu" her friends teased her "Jun Pyo perhaps?"
Iryn had made up a story to make dinner for her boyfriend Goo Jun Pyo yet she had stolen a key card that Ji Hoo had given Jan Di. She put some makeup on and wore the perfume Ji Hoo had bought for Jan Di during Easter
Ji Hoo was in the dining room thinking of what to make for dinner and then his door opened, he had a big smile on his face as he thought that Jan Di had come as always to bring him something to eat but to his disappointment, it was Iryn
"What are you doing here?" he asked surprised
"Ohh, I know I shouldn't have come unannounced but, I brought you food" she handed him her food flask
"Did Jan Di send you here?"
"No, she didn't. I should get going" she walked out feeling down that he didn't even compliment her on how she looked.
Next Morning…
"Iryn, what are you doing here?" Ji Hoo asked as he had expected to see Jan Di and not her
"I'm sorry but I can't keep this up, I need to get it off my chest" a surprised Ji Hoo looked as she pulled his face and kissed him and just then the door opened
Jan Di rushed to the stairwell to see her boyfriend because he had something important to tell her and witnessed how Iryn and Ji Hoo were kissing. She didn't say anything to them and rushed off
"Jan Di" Ji Hoo and Iryn called her
"Iryn" Ji Hoo pulled away "I Love Jan Di so much with all my heart, I don't know what is happening to you but I know, this shouldn't happen. I know you love Goo Jun Pyo and he loves you too but this isn't right"
"You're right, this shouldn't have happened," Iryn said "I know I shouldn't have gotten carried away and I feel like I betrayed my friend and Goo Jun Pyo. Forgive me" Iryn ran away leaving Ji Hoo with regrets. Yes, what his Jan Di had told him was true Iryn has a crush on him but he failed to believe her saying that she was learning to get jealousy of the way Iryn paid attention to him, she had even changed a class to learn music to be closer to Ji Hoo
Present….
Jan Di, Ga Eul, and Iryn were dropped off by their driver at the Shinhwa entrance. There was a dance at the school. Jan Di walked in with her long hair in loose curls wearing a white dress and heels that were manageable, Ga Eul looked dashing as well with her pink off-shoulder dress and Iryn was also wearing was gorgeous naturally her curves, her smile and everything about her was breathtaking.
Walking to the hall, as they pushed the door open, everyone's eyes were on Iryn apart from Yoon Ji Hoo who was madly in love with his weed that didn't want to see him.
Goo Jun Pyo, Woo Bin, and Yoon Ji Hoo walked to the three girls and extended their hands.
Ji Hoo looked to Jan Di as if no one exited at that moment but only her. She looked away and recalled why she came to the party to eat.
"I'm only going because of food, nothing more" she had told her friends who only laughed
She heard a tap on her shoulder, "Jan Di" Ga Eul whispered to her "Ji Hoo Sunbae is asking for a dance"
Jan Di turned back to him, bowed her head apologizing, and walked off to a table with food. Her friends looked at her knowing her pain especially Iryn who was feeling guilty for how she betrayed her friend. She had told Goo Jun Pyo about this, yes he had also suspected his girl friend had a crush on his best friend so it was going to happen soon or later
Ga Eul and Iryn had found out that Jan Di was one month pregnant. Even if she hadn't forgiven Iryn, she continued talking to her because they were best friends not matter what
Flashback (Easter Season)
"Sunbae, why did you call me here for?" Jan Di was led to the stairwell, it seemed to be cleaner than before, there was a small mat, Pillow with food back on the small table
"I thought we could spend Easter together" Ji Hoo looked at her shyly
"But why here?" she asked confused
Ji Hoo asked her to take a seat on the mat more of something like a small mattress because it was soft
It started with small touches and caressed
Then the passionate kiss he was giving her, was deep and wet. They had shared a few kisses and hugs before but now, Ji Hoo seemed to be taking things far than usual
"Jan Di-ah, do you think we should…" he sucked on her lower lip "Take the next step"
"I don't know," she said
Ji Hoo took care of Jan Di until all their clothes were finally off
Ji Hoo and Jan Di finally made love, something that they have been trying to avoid for so long since their 3months dating.
Present…
Woo Bin led Ga Eul to the dance floor. As they danced, he fixed his eyes on Jan Di eating while Ji Hoo stood there like a puppy waiting for its orders.
Woo Bin cleared his throat and focused on the beautiful girl he was dancing with "Can I ask you something"
She nodded, "Sure, go ahead"
"Are you and Iryn that close?"
Ga Eul looked to Iryn. "We've known her since we were children" she begun "I don't like what she did. She has always been like that, when something catches her attention she wants it for herself no matter what"
"So do you think she intentionally did this to her best friend?" he questioned
"She only said that it was a moment of weakness but for Ji Hoo Sunbae, I don't know"
"Hey my friend loves Jan Di a lot that he will never hurt her but he is a man just like any of us. He has even already explained and we understood him, why can't Jan Di understand that it wasn't his fault?" Ga Eul pulled away forcefully
"Let's see what your friend is willing to do when he finds out that Jan Di-ah is moving to another country with her family"
Woo Bin froze. Jan Di was moving to another country. His friend needed to know
"Jan Di-ah do you wish to dance?" Ji Hoo asked, his voice was desperate
"I'm sorry Ji Hoo sunbae if I dance, I might end up stepping on your feet" she replied coldly
But that didn't scare him, "It doesn't matter" he stood in front of her and tried to hold her hand but she pushed it away
"I'm not interested okay. Why can't you ask the one who is in your heart instead of beating around the bush?" she smashed the food she was having on the plate out of anger
Ji Hoo finally confirmed where Jan Di was coming from "I'm sorry Otter, I swear I never planned this"
A chill ran through his spine as he saw her glaring coldly at him "Don't ever call me that again" she yelled at him. Of course, everyone saw it
She rushed out of the hall and her friends followed. Ji Hoo was about to go as well but his friends held him back.
"An emergency, Jan Di is leaving Korea very soon and she is also" Woo Bin whispered the last sentence "Pregnant"
"What?"
"Ga Eul said in two weeks, she will be going with her family so I don't think you will ever see her again"
"You guys haven't made up yet?" Yi Jeong asked
"No, I hurt her in the worst possible way by not listening to her insecurities about her best friend having a crush on me" he told his friends
Rushing out of the hall, Ji Hoo caught the sight of the woman he loves leaving with her friends in a taxi. she was crying and his heart ached even more for his behavior
"What have I done?" he questioned himself "Don't leave me Jan Di-ah" he said to himself
