"Guys, are you coming to the airport with me?" Ga Eul asked her F4 friends who were at the lounge hanging out with nothing to do. Another girl was now part of their group. She had eyes for Ji Hoo. Her name is Li Weiyoung, she was born in china but raised in Korea. She is currently studying music and the instrument she plays the best is the piano.

"What is so special at the airport?" Ji Hoo asked her.

"Jan Di-ah is arriving today" she pulled out the invitation cards "Present these invitations at the Geum mansion, there is a birthday party for Soo Yun"

Ji Hoo's heart beat faster and had the carriage to stand "Soo Yun, who is she?" he asked

"Soo Yun is Jan Di-ah's daughter," Iryn said smiling. "I can't wait to meet the little princess" she squealed.

"Me too," Ga Eul said dreamily looking forward to meeting her niece.

"I thought we are going to the airport" Goo Jun Pyo pulled them back to reality

"Who is Jan Di-ah," Li Weiyoung asked them. She had seen Ji Hoo look at the girl's photo every time he would talk about Jan Di. "Don't tell me she is the heiress of the Geum family"

"She was my girlfriend" Ji Hoo answered without hesitation "And I plan on winning her over again"

"Oh" She didn't like this at all. She thought she had a chance with him but his hopes crumbled when he said that

30 minutes later.

Jan Di went through the process at the gate while her daughter ran around looking at the new environment. Jan Di was almost through with her studies but she returned to Korea to meet her brother and her grandfather to celebrate Soo Yun's fourth birthday. After giving birth, Jan Di had help from her brother and grandfather to finish her studies in high school and look after the little princess. She had performed well in the science subjects that the administration advised her to join medical school. Now she was in her second year in medical school and her professor and advisor Yoon Seok Young encouraged her to enroll in Shinhwa university to finish her studies to get a better hospital to work in.

"Omma, look" Soo Yun was pointing at her name and her mother's name. she had told Ga Eul and Iryn that she would be returning to Korea, and seeing them with the poster of a welcome home was not a surprise to her but to her daughter it was.

"Jan Di-ah" her friends squealed and ran to her. She stumbled back as her friends held her tightly "Jan Di-ah we are so happy to see you. we missed you so much" Ga Eul said

"I'm happy to see you too" although she felt uneasy "By the way meet Geum Soo Yun. My daughter" she turned to her daughter, "Baby say hello to your Aunties"

Soo Yun came closer and embraced them in her tiny arms

"Happy Birthday Princess"

"Thank You, Aunt Ga Eul and Aunt Iryn"

Jan Di along with her friends and daughter went to the parking lot. Time stood still as she came face to face with the man she had been missing but didn't dare pick up his calls to talk to him whenever he called her or left messages for her.

Woo Bin was the first to rush to her and gave her a tight hug followed by Goo Jun Pyo who first quarreled at her for leaving without a word and Yi Jeong who praised her for being beautiful as ever. Ji Hoo came to her but with his nervous walk. Scared, happy, and at the same time angry at her for leaving without saying anything to him.

He remembered when he rushed to the airport to stop her from leaving but it was already too late.

"Jan Di…" he raised his hand to her face and before he could touch her, he felt a harsh tap on his leg. Little Soo Yun never liked men to touch her mother on her face and now seeing this man touch her mother, she frowned and wanted to push him away. She stood in between her mother and Ji Hoo. She wanted to protect her mother.

Ji Hoo looked down at the beautiful girl and crouched down to her level. She had her small hands on her hips "Nobody touches My mummy on her face apart from my dad and me"

Ji Hoo smiled at her and the frown on her face went away immediately "Your Mummy and I are very good friends" he explained to her "I just wanted to confirm that she is here and I hoped it wasn't a dream"

"Really…"

"Yes…I'm just happy that she is here that's why I couldn't control myself. Forgive me princess if I offended you" Soo Yun wrapped her arms around his neck saying it was okay. Ji Hoo pulled back and saw Jan Di had gone off with her friends, they were helping her pack her stuff in the car.

Ji Hoo walked with the little girl in his arms. He already knew that the girl was his but had no idea how to bring it up. His friends asked

"She is still angry," Ji Hoo told them. "I don't even know how to approach the topic"

"First things first," Woo Bin said. "We are invited to her daughter's birthday party, so you will have plenty of time to come up with something"

"The only person who can fix this mess is Iryn," Yi Jeong said "If she hadn't thrown herself at you, none of this would have happened" So Yi Jeong looked like the person who hardly understood but he had also noticed how Iryn always got jealous of the attention, Ji Hoo would give to Jan Di. He had tried to bring up the topic but his friend ignored him and only Jan Di was the only one who listened to him but it was too late.

"I am the one who needs to prove to her that the kiss meant nothing to me," he said to them "I just wish she could give me a chance" he sighed

Geum Mansion…

Jan Di walked downstairs with a white long off-shoulder gown along with her 3-year-old daughter who was turning four wearing a white princess butterfly gown with white-pink flowers on the shoulder. Jan Di held her daughter and walked steadily and confidently as the guests clapped their hands. She saw her friends on their tables also clapping their hands.

Ji Hoo was love-stricken anew, he couldn't tear his eyes away from Jan Di as she walked, and then a guy from nowhere came to her and kissed her cheeks on both sides and offered his arm for her to take. He saw her hesitating but with confidence, she took it and walked to where her grandfather and brother were.

"Who is that guy with Jan Di?" Yi Jeong asked his friends

"He was her classmate in china" Ga Eul spoke "Jan Di told me about him when we used to video chat"

"Are they dating?" Ji Hoo asked her

"I don't know about that" she sensed he wanted to know more "Jan Di told me, he asked her out but she rejected him, so they are now friends now"

"Friends?" he scoffed "I can tell, he likes her" he turned to the front as Soo Yun blew the candles and had her first dance with her grandfather who gave her a white rose. The dance became open for everyone and they watched how the guy asked Jan Di for a dance. She took his hand and led her to the dance floor and he closely danced with her. He even pressed his cheek on hers and that was when Ji Hoo rose from his table silently fuming. Weiyoung had asked him to dance and he said he wasn't interested and he continued watching Jan Di dance with that man.

He walked straight to the dance floor and tapped on the guy "May I cut in?" he asked with sarcasm in his voice and plastered a fake smile

He nodded and let Jan Di free and walked back.

Ji Hoo led Jan Di in the middle, far away from that guy's eyes. He took her hand and put his arm around her waist gently. Jan Di released a sigh. The tension she was feeling dancing with her friend and the way he was looking at her made her feel uncomfortable.

"Are you alright?" he whispered to her

"Yes, I'm okay" they began dancing. Her eyes locked with his camel eyes. He studied her a bit "You look very beautiful, Little Otter" he commented

"Thank you" she replied politely and her eyes met him again. Suddenly forgetting the tension she was feeling. Ji Hoo pressed his fingers into her waist delicately and pulled her closer. She felt her eyes close for a second. He continued looking at her. She opened her eyes and glanced at him shyly. She raised her other hand to his neck and he, in turn, wound his other hand to her waist and continued to press her to him. They continued to dance without saying a word but their eyes said it all. He leaned forward and pressed his forehead to hers and finally, the song ended "Jan Di-ah, let's talk" he said and she nodded to him

Jan Di pulled her hands away from him and walked away. He had a smile of satisfaction as walked back to the table.

"She agreed to talk with me but I don't know how it will go," he told them
