That morning, Lexie had received a phone call from the mayor at 5 in the morning. Tiredly, Lexie picks up.
"Yes Mr Mayor sir?" Lexie said.
"Your majesty, we have a routine here in jellystone," Huck said. "Every morning, I call everyone in town to make sure they're awake. Except El Kabong, that guy seems to never get any sleep. Don't forget, we have a morning at 3"
Huck hangs up. Lexie groans. She usually sleeps in back at her kingdom. Guess things run differently in this town. That means that Huck really cares about his people.
Lexie kept thinking about last night. The way El Kabong swooped in to save her, The way he princess carried her to her room (even if he got it wrong the first time). Why did she think of kissing him on the cheek? I guess it was because she was a princess and it was a sign of affection but.
She was still in love.
On the way out of the lobby, Lexie was staring at the city outside. It was only 10am and Lexie needed to kill some time before the meeting. Lexie should go to the park, maybe that will get her mind off-
"Your Majesty"
Speak of the devil. El Kabong gets off the bus and does a roll down to the lobby door, where he crashes into a plant.
"A body has been-" Boo Boo began. El Kabong gets up, unscaved.
"Nevermind" Boo Boo keeps walking.
"El Kabong!" Lexie said.
"Princesa" El Kabong said, kneeling down and kissing her hand. "It appears you have no one to escort you. A princess like yourself would get lost in this city"
"You don't say," Lexie said. El Kabong takes her hand.
"Come, I shall escort you?" El Kabong "away" he runs off with Lexie.
"Wait where are we going?" Lexie said.
After giving a location to the horse, Lexie and El Kabong arrive at the park. Lexie can see the two dogs from a few days ago at the park. The smaller one notices Lexie.
"Look Daddy, It's the princess again," Augie said. "But what is she doing with Mr Kabong?"
The two walk up to Lexie.
"Listen Miss Lexie, I need a favor" Doggie Daddy began "I need you to teach my little girl how to be a princess, just like you."
"You want me to teach your daughter how to be a princess?" Lexie said "Well I can try at least. I'm not the best at teaching"
"But Mr Kabong is, '' Augie said. "He's my teacher. In Fact, he's the only teacher in town"
"I do my best for the children," El Kabong said.
"How considerate of you Kabong," Lexie said. "Now then, the first thing you need to know is that a princess is very polite, and is kind to everyone, even animals"
She sings a small melody and birds fly on top of her.
"Oh, I can do that," Augie said. She sings a VERY off-key melody and all the birds fly away.
"We'll work on it," Lexie said. "Not every princess has a beautiful voice"
The scene cuts to the 4 of them sitting at a table with a tea set.
"Like this" Lexie said, holding her tea with her pinky up. The other 3 copy her. El Kabong and Doggy Daddy do it perfectly but Augie is struggling a bit.
"You did well Augie," Lexie said.
"Thank you miss Lexie," Augie said. She drops her tea cup, the tea splashes on Lexie's dress.
"Princess, your beautiful dress!" El Kabong says.
"Don't worry about it," Lexie said. "Maybe Jabberjaw can get me a new one again. And Augie can get a princess makeover over there too"
"How much is that gonna cost me?" Doggy Daddy said.
"Free of charge" Lexie said "Leave the spending to the sovereignty"
The gang arrives at the bow store. Jabberjaw is very excited to see El Kabong.
"What can I get for you today lovelys" Jabberjaw said.
"Augie needs to look like a princess. And I need a new dress" Lexie said.
"Can do," Jabberjaw said.
Lexie and Augie are pulled into a dressing room and after a few minutes, They both step out. Lexie is wearing a white dress with gold lacing on it and Augie is wearing a princess costume that you can buy at a halloween store.
"My baby girl is now a princess," Doggy Daddy said wiping away a tear. El Kabong looked at Lexie in awe.
"Princess...your look is" El Kabong began. "So Magnificent!"
"Thanks-" Lexie is pushed away by Jabberjaw.
"I designed it, what do you think?" Jabberjaw said proudly.
"It's perfect," El Kabong said. "It captures the beauty of a princess so…."
As El Kabong kept talking, Lexie felt a tug on her dress. She turns to Augie.
"Miss Lexie?" Augie said. "Do you have a crush on Mr Kabong?"
"What? Noooo" Lexie said. "I'm just some princess who happens to have a crush on your teacher. OOPS I LET IT ALL OUT"
The room goes silent.
"Were you saying something?" El Kabong said.
"Nope, nothing at all, don't worry about it" Lexie said. She looks at her watch.
"Oh No, I'm gonna be late for my meeting" Lexie said.
"Oh no!" El Kabong said. "I must not let the princess be late for her meeting with the mayor. It's a very important meeting" he took Lexie's hand and ran off with her. "Away!"
"Thank you Miss Lexie," Augie said.
"Come on sweetheart it's getting late" Doggy Daddy said. "Even a princess has a bedtime"
"Ok Daddy" Augie said, also leaving.
El Kabong and Lexie arrive at the town hall.
"I will wait for you until your meeting ends," El Kabong said.
"Um… thanks" Lexie said before entering.
Lexie and Huck's meeting was a little short. Lexie and Huck were looking at an evacuation plan in case the city gets destroyed.
"I am willing to do anything to keep this town safe," Huck said. "Which is why I have a plan B just in case: surrender myself to the enemy team"
"I don't think that will be necessary Mr Mayor" Lexie said. "I think if we evacuate everyone to the back end of town, we should be safe. Which is why we must make a headcount before and after we evacuate"
After the meeting, Lexie walked out of town hall. El Kabong was nowhere to be found.
"He probably went to fight crime or something" Lexie said to herself. She decided to take the bus to the hotel to avoid another encounter with the splits.
Upon Arriving at her room, Lexie is going over some papers. A newspaper talking about how some strange army was spotted heading towards Jellystone. In a week, the entire town would be wiped off the map. She needs to find out why they are targeting Jellystone in the first place.
In the midst of her thought, Lexie can hear faint guitar playing. Who's playing guitar at this hour she wonders. She walks out to her balcony. Upon stepping out to the balcony, she hears a voice.
"Llevame mi amor hasta la luna o hasta el sol…"
Someone was singing.
"¿Cómo amarte más? Tal vez en Marte o en Plutón"

Lexie went to the railing and saw him. El Kabong was sitting on a nearby roof and playing his guitar while singing.
"Conservame junto a ti
Descubreme mil mundos sin fín"
El Kabong jumped down from the roof, landing on his feet.
"Llename de estrellas el confin del corazón"
He started climbing the wall, while still playing his guitar somehow.
"Déjame tus huellas en el último rincón"
El Kabong is almost to Lexie's room.
"Volando allí solo tú"
He's here.
"Flotando al fin te amare"
Lexie clapped.
"Did you like that song?" El Kabong said.
"It was a very nice rendition of Fly Me to the Moon," Lexie said.
"Peter Potamus is always talking about this anime called Evangelion," El Kabong said. "The opening is good at least"
"You have such a nice voice El Kabong" Lexie said.
"Anything for a princess such as yourself," El Kabong said. Lexie gets all red.
"Nice one Lexie" Lexie said to herself, but it was loud enough for El Kabong to hear. He chuckled.
"It's already so late" El Kabong said "You must be busy tomorrow. Please don't let me take up any more of your time your majesty"
"Actually, Huck is busy with another meeting so We won't be able to meet up tomorrow," Lexie said. "So I'll be free"
"This is good news," El Kabong said, kissing her hand. "I would like to get to know a princess like you"
Is he...asking her out?
"You know," Lexie said. "I would like that"
"Then I will see you tomorrow, your highness," El Kabong said. He jumps off the balcony and a loud bang is heard. Lexie gasps.
"Don't worry, I landed in the trash can," El Kabong said from below.
Lexie walks back into her room. It was a date.
