(Years ago, Marsh Residents)
Young Stanley Marsh was trying unsuccessfully to get a few baskets in but of course, he couldn't get a one.
"You should work on your stance."
Stanley turned around and saw a girl about the same age as him with brown hair and it was parted into two pigtails. She is wearing a light green sweater with a picture of a daisy on it and had dark green trousers.
"Who are you?" Stanley asked.
"I'm your new neighbor, I'm Catherine Greene but everyone calls me Cat."
She then put her hand out so they could shake hands. Stanley didn't shake her hand.
"Hey, what's the big idea? Why won't you shake my hand?"
"Cause girls are gross. I don't want cooties."
Cat then began to get mad.
"I don't have Cooties…I had lice once though."
Stanley's face then changed to one of interest.
"Wow, that's cool. Do you still have 'em?"
"No, I wanted to keep them so I can make them do circus tricks in a few years but my mommy and daddy made me get rid of them."
"That sucks….Sorry if I was mean, I'm Stanley Marsh Jr."
The two then shook hands.
"Nice to meet you, Stanley."
"Ugh, what was it you were saying about standing?"
"You should stand like this, that way you'll sink a basket.
Stanley took Cat's advice and stood the way she did and tossed the ball and to his joy, it went in.
"See? I told you."
"Ya you were right….how about I show you something now?"
Cat looked questioningly at Stanley.
"Like what?"
"This!"
Stanley then put her in a headlock then began to give her a noogie.
"Ow Stop it!"
Cat got out of the Headlock then socked Stanley in the shoulder!
"Ow!"
"Serves you right."
Cat watched as Stanley rubbed his shoulder for a minute.
"Wow, you can pack a punch…that's so cool."
Cat blushed.
"Thanks, my mom showed me how to kick ass."
"You said a bad word."
Cat looked unapologetic.
"Ya…so what if I did. There aren't any grown-ups around."
Stanley then dribbled the ball a few times before throwing it to Cat.
"You wanna play one in one with me?"
Cat looked down at the ball then smiled.
"You wanna play with me?"
"Ya, your pretty cool…for a girl."
"Oh ya well this girl is gonna kick your ass."
"Bring it on!"
(Many years later, Tweak Family Diner)
Cat Greene and her best friend, Jessica Malkinson, Scott and Sophie's Daughter, walked through the front door of the Diner.
"You don't have to be here for this if you don't want to, Jessica," Cat said.
"And miss my best friend trash talk her rival? I don't think so. Besides I'm hungry." Jessica replied.
They waited until a hostess brought them to a booth by the window.
"Your waitress will be right with you." The hostess said.
The two girls waited a few minutes until to their satisfaction, their waitress Patty Tweak walked over. There waitresses smile faded as soon as she realized who she was waiting on.
"You must have the biggest balls in the united states if you're coming here after what you did on live tv," Patty said.
Cat gave the blond girl an evil smile.
"Well that's not very good customer service, is it Jessica?"
"No, it's not. I think we might have to complain to your Manager."
Jessica then called out to Patty's mom, Millie Larsen Tweak.
"Oh Mrs. Tweak."
"What seems to be the problem, Girls?" Millie asked.
"It's nothing mom, I'll take care of it," Patty said before looking back at Cat and Jessica.
"What can I get you?" Patty asked while trying hard not to stab the cat with her pen.
"Let's see, I'll take the pancakes and Bacon. With the side of kissbrowns, oops I mean hash browns." Patty said.
The pen then began to crack in Patty's hand.
"Oo, I'll have that as well with two glasses of soon-to-be-dumped juice oh I mean orange juice," Jessica said.
Patty broke the pen in her hand and ink-covered her hand and wrist.
"I'll bring that right out." Patty said while trying hard not to sound angry.
"Maybe when you come back, work on that attitude."
After Patty left, Car laid back in the booth.
"I know i shouldn't be feeling this way but I feel good…is that wrong?"
"Cat, you've known Stanley since preschool and have loved him ever since and when you finally wanted to tell him about your feelings she swoops in like a pterodactyl and steals him out from under you so my answer is no. Patty deserves a good kick in the ass."
"Oh does she?"
The two girls turned around and saw Patty's best friend, Nancy Donovan looking right back at them.
Cat sighed.
"What do you want, Nancy?"
"What I want to grab you by your pigtails, drag you into the alleyway and beat you with brass knuckles for kissing my best friend's boyfriend but I'll settle for you apologizing to Patty for your little stunt on local tv."
"I have nothing to apologize for. I've known Stanley Marsh Jr for way longer than she has and cared for him just as long!"
"That doesn't give you the right to try and steal another girl's man besides it's not Patty's fault that you waited too long to share your true feelings."
Cat brought her fist down hard on the booth table.
"I didn't wait too long!"
Nancy looked questioningly at Cat.
"What do you mean?"
"Never mind. If you wanna fight things out, Donavon then let's fight. Meet me in Kenny McCormick memorial Park in Two hours. "
"Fine then, I'll teach you not to mess with my friend. I'll kick your ass."
"Oh no, you won't. I'll cut you if you get anywhere close to Cat." Jessa said.
"That's not fair, that's two on one."
"Then how about we make things more interesting. You bring the rest of Patty's little clique and Jessica and I will bring ours."
"Done!"
"Let's go, Jessica, I've lost my appetite."
"But I'm still hungry," Jessica said.
"We'll go to Burger King, I'll pay for you."
Jessica shrugged then got out of the booth.
Before they left, Cat looked over her shoulder at Nancy.
"See you at the park, Donovan. Hope your not as much a cry baby as your daddy was." Cat said before closing the door.
Patty then emerged from the kitchen with a plate of pancakes, bacon, and hash brown in both hands. She walked towards the now empty booth.
"Hey, where did those two jerks go? They have to pay for this food." Patty said.
"They left…ugh Patty, there's something I gotta tell you."
(One hour later, Thorn Residents)
Patty, Nancy, Claudia, Theodora, and Bertha all sat in Theodora's bedroom.
Everyone except Theodora herself was creeped out by the numerous religious memorabilia Theodora had in her room
"I'm so happy to have you all here with me in my room. Usually, whenever we meet it's always at someone else's house Or school with the boys. Do you all like my room?"
Bertha couldn't take her eyes off a, particularly violent-looking crucifix behind her. The only none Christian thing in the room was a framed picture of Theodora and Herman at Casa Bonita together.
"Yeah, Theodora it's great in here," Bertha said while trying her hardest to sound convincing.
"Aw, thanks, Bertha."
Theodora then turned back to Nancy and Patty.
"So Nancy, what did you want to talk about?"
Nancy sighed.
"Well…I got into a little spat with Cat Greene and Jessica Malkinson at Patty's family's Diner and one thing led to another and then they challenged us to a gang fight." Nancy said.
"Excuse me?!" Claudia asked.
"And you just agreed to this without asking us?" Bertha asked.
"Or me," Patty said with obvious anger in her voice.
"Don't get mad at me, Patty. I was defending you from that smart mouth B$@ch."
"Nancy, language," Theodora said.
"Shut up, Theodora! Besides, I didn't mean for it to be a group vs group battle. I challenged Cat to a fight then Jessica invited herself in then before I know it became a group fight."
"So now what, we gotta kick Cat and her little crew's asses?" Bertha asked.
"No, you don't. This is mine and Nancy's fight. We'll go and maybe I can talk cat down to just the two of us fighting." Patty said.
"No way are we gonna let you go in on this alone. I'll go with you for emotional support at the very least." Claudia said.
"Really Claudia?"
" Of course. I'm dating your brother after all so so what kind of future inlaw would I be if I let you get your ass kicked."
"I'm more than capable of defending myself, Claudia."
"You've never seen cat fight. Remember when Gabriel Stotch made fun of her pigtails a few weeks ago? When Theodora and I were walking back from school, we saw her beating the ever-loving crap out of him behind the school, I think she was about to curb stomp him but stopped when she saw us walking by."
"In that case im going to. Your gonna need all the help you can get." Bertha said.
"I will go as well. Someone needs to be the Christian voice or reason amongst these sinful girls who only think of violence of and romantic lust." Theodora said.
"Lust, what the hell are you talking about?" Patty asked.
"Cat's always had a crush or something more on Stanley. I've noticed how she looks at him in science class."
"How did you notice that?" Nancy asked.
"In science class, I block my ears and just sing hymns to myself while Father Jerome speaks about the great lie that is evolution. Anyway, I can't notice much else except Cat lovingly staring at the back at Stanley's head."
Nancy noticed how angry Patty looked after hearing this.
"Good, you're angry. Let's take that anger out of Cat." Nancy said.
(Another hour later, Kenny McCormick Memorial Park)
Patty, Nancy, Bertha, Claudia, and Theodora all walked through the entrance and saw Cat Greene's crew waiting for them.
Before them were Cat Greene, Jessica Malkinson, Bertha's cousin, Brooke Biggle, Bradley and Esther's daughter, Token and Nicole's Daughter, Ashley Black and Jimmy Valmer, and Allie Nelson's Daughter, Rita Valmer.
Brooke Biggle smiled as soon as she saw Bertha.
"Come to get your ass handed to you again Coz?" Brook asked.
Nancy looked at Bertha for a moment.
" What does she mean again?" Nancy asked.
Bertha turned her head and looked away from Nancy for a moment.
"Brooke and I had a little arm wrestling contest last week and it went a little far."
"By going far she means that after I won, she jumped me and tried to beat me up but I swatted her away like a fly. After that, she just lumbered away like the cowardly Nerd she is. By the way, how is that boyfriend of yours doing, Bertha? Maybe I should visit him and show him what a real woman can do for him."
"I'll kill you if you come anywhere near my Dani!"
"What stuff you think she was going to do to Dani?" Nancy asked.
Bertha shrugged.
" I have no idea besides I doubt she even knows what she was talking about."
"Enough! Let's get down to business! The only people who need to fight are me and Patty." Cat said.
"I agree," Patty said.
The two girls stepped into the playground, both on opposite sides of the sandbox.
"Kick her ass, Patty!" Claudia shouted.
"Show that Dizzy blond what happens when you steal another girl's man, Cat!" Jessica shouted.
Patty looked questioningly at Cat.
"Me? You're the one who tried to steal my boyfriend."
"You mean steal back!"
Before patty could reply Cat kicked her in the Stomach! The kick knocked all the air out of Patty's lungs! As patty tried to breathe, Cat then grabbed her by the hood of her coat and threw her into a snowdrift!
As Patty was Digging herself out of the snow, she saw Cat running towards her and quickly threw a snowball at Cat's face! Since the snow was harder than usual the ball gave Cat a black eye!
Cat covered her brushed eye then looked back at Patty!
"I'm gonna knock out your front teeth for that!" Cat shouted before pouncing on Patty!
Patty got out of the way quickly than when cats fell into the snow she quickly grabbed the girl by the back of her hair and threw her to the ground and began to hit her repeatedly!
Jessica wanted to help her best friend but Brooke and Ashley held her back.
"Don't get in the way, Jess. Remember this is what she wanted to happen." Ashley said.
While everybody else was distracted, Theodora was the only one who heard Ashley say this.
She thought to herself for a moment what that could mean then finally she realized what the other girl had meant when she saw who was walking into the park.
"Patty, Stop!" Theodora shouted but it was already too late. As Patty was bringing down the final blow she felt two arms grab onto her and pull her up while Stanley got Infront of Cat and shielded her.
"Patty what the hell are you doing?!" Stanley shouted.
"Patty turned her head and saw her twin Alfred holding her back while Jacob, Dani, and Herman watched the battle unfold.
Patty turned back to her boyfriend. He looked at her like she was a lunatic.
"Why are you looking at me like that?"
"Why do think? You were beating up Cat!" Stan shouted back at her while he helped Cat up.
"Are you ok, Cat?" Stanley asked.
Cat's knees buckled from under her but Stanley caught her and helped her back up.
Cat rested her head against Stanley's shoulder.
"She went crazy, Stanley. I and the girls were just hanging out when out of nowhere Patty and her thugs came and started beating on me, thank God you guys got here before Jessica, Ashley, Brook, and Rita got hurt."
"That's a bunch of bull! If you had gotten here only a few minutes ago you would have seen her wailing on me." Patty said.
Stanley looked like he didn't believe her.
"Really! She was beating on you even though she has a black eye and a bunch of bruises and scratches all over her while you don't have a mark on you?"
Patty looked down at herself and noticed Stanley was right.
"S-she does Jewish karate on the weekends, she Probably knows how to hurt someone without leaving a mark."
"It's called Krav maga you anti-semite! Besides I just started taking classes I wouldn't know how to do any of the stuff you're accusing me of."
"You lying B-"
Patty stopped talking when she saw how angry Stanley looked at her.
"Stop it, Patty! I've known Cat since we were in preschool. She'd never do any of the things you're accusing her of!"
"You're seriously believing her over me?!"
"Look Patty, I know your mad at Cat for that kiss thing on tv but she was just pulling a prank. She's always been like that but you going crazy and beating her up is going way too far!"
Patty was shocked. After all that she and Stanley had been through, he seemed so quick to believe Cat over her.
"C'mon cat. I'm taking you home."
Stanley then picked up Cat and she piggybacked on him.
As Stanley walked out of the park. Patty noticed Cat sticking her tongue out at her while nobody else was looking. She then noticed Dani, Herman, Jacob, and Alfred all arguing with their girlfriends while Jessica and the other girls watched like vultures waiting for prey to die. Had Cat and Jessica planned everything to happen like this?
( Ruins of Tegridy Farms)
The creature that came upon the burnt ruins of Tegridy Farms a few days ago and had set up shop here. It had been hard to find proper sustenance but it had gotten lucky. A family of squatters had lived nearby and while they had slept he had devoured every last one of them. It would have preferred they'd been alive when he had consumed them, live meat always tasted better but it wouldn't have to scavenge like this for much longer. He had heard from one old man in town that there was going to be a founder's day parade in a few days, everyone in town would be there all gathered together ready for the slaughter.
