Genji looks over a desolate future one his father tried so hard to protect in his mind he thought

Genji: How could things get this bad the future my father tried so hard to protect is gone now what do I do.

Now lets go back to a time before the everything was destroyed back to a time when everything was peaceful on planet earth.

4 years earlier

Genji woke up and realized he was late for training

Genji: oh no my dads gonna kill me

Genji was young boy around 12 years of age he had purple hair and a bandana around his head which was also, purple. Genji was getting ready for training when his mother called him

?: Genji! get down here this instant.

Genji: okay mom! now what have I done.

Genji walked down to see his mother cooking breakfast his dad was there waiting and had one of the most disappointed looks on his face.

Genji: hi mom hi dad what's for breakfa...

Before he could finish his sentence his father interrupted and said

?: do u have any idea how long I was waiting now for that we will train twice as long

Genji just had a look of disbelief

Genji: b-but dad

?: wanna make it three times as long

Genji just sighed and walked out the door

Genji: (sigh) no ill be outside.

Now his mother and father were inside

?: being a little hard on him today trunks

Trunks was a middle age half blood Saiyan he had purple hair

Trunks yes he deserves this this is the fourth time he has over slept now he gets punished sorry Mai but my father did the same thing to me as a kid but he would punch me in the gut to wake me up if I overslept.

Mai was a middle aged human woman with black hair a hat on her head with Mai being human and trunks being half Saiyan that made Genji a quarter Saiyan.

Mai: well have fun don't over work him to much ok trunks I want him to be able to move remember what happened last time

Trunks: okay Mai I wont see you later

Trunks left the house and walked outside to see Genji waiting

Trunks: okay son are u ready

Genji: as ready as ill ever be (no not at all)

Trunks: ok then lets get going son

Trunks and Genji flew off to their training ground
