Chapter 1/ Fun with Lightning bolts.

Rooaaaaaarrrrr 'Where is that monster?, I think. It has been stalking me for the last hour.

Then I see it. Calcedott tunnel. When I get there I'll be safe.

Whoosh! The lioness pounced!

I rolled away and the lioness bounded towards me. I pulled the pendant off the chain around my neck, and it grows into a three and a half foot long blade.

The lioness charges at me. I wait... wait...NOW! I leap up and land on the monster's back.

She hurdles off the side of the hill. 'There's no breaks on this thing!' goes through my mind.

She crashes into the entryway of the tunnel. Wellll... she does I hop off gracefully. She leaps back and charges down the tunnel at me. I stab my sword strait down, and like a hot knife through butter it cleaves straight into the concrete.

RUMBLE! An earthquake shakes the tunnel,CRASH! 3 tons of rock smash the lioness. "What was that?" someone asks from the beggining of the tunnel.

"Hello,"I yell. I sense a child of the underworld aproaching, "Is that Praetor Hazel?"

"Yes but who are you?" She shouts back.

"You might want to fix the tunnel", I say avoiding the question.

I turn around and the tunnel is getting repaired. But I also see the Nemean Lioness!

I charge forward, I duck a swipe that grazes my hair, and plunge my blade into the monster's eye. ROAR! The lioness dissolves into a pelt and monster dust.

Hazel is fully down the tunnel by now,"Did you just kill the Nemean Lioness single handed?"

"Yep," I said as I picked up the pelt. There was a flash of light, and the pelt had changed. It has an outside lining of admantium. It had more sheen to it as well.

"I better bring you to camp," Hazel said.

A.N. ok this is my first fanfic that i am sharing with more than two idiots. Ok next chapter whoever guesses the reference of the name of the sword can: get 1 spoiler for everyone or ask me 1 question for themselves (the spoiler is already chosen by me you don't get to choose what I spoil) just Private Message it to me if you figure it out. Second admantium i got from reading old Spiderman comics and in one there's an appearence of Wolverine so I thought it was a cool name so I used it.
