*Chapter One: Lost Paradise*

Hinata sits at her radiology practice looking out the window, she enjoys her job very much, and she really has a passion for it. In fact Hinata was in a state of bliss as she thought about how good her life is. She's married to a well-known and impressively successful entrepreneur who adores everything about her, and she is head over heels in love with him, Sasuke Uchiha. She has two of the greatest friends any woman could ask for Ino and Ten Ten, and couldn't wait to get together once they came back to town. The best part was that she and Sasuke just agreed to start trying for a baby.

As she thought about all this she felt like she was the luckiest woman on earth and spun around in her swivel chair.

Unfortunately, for Hinata in a few moments her perfect world was about to come crashing down and send her on the ride of her life.

Later that day

It was almost time to leave for the day, so Hinata begins to pack up some files that she wanted to review when she got home. "I wonder if he'll be as romantic as last time." She blushes at the thought of making sweet love to Sasuke hopefully getting pregnant as well.
Suddenly she hears her office phone buzz and pressed the speaker, "Hello Mrs. Uchiha your husband is on his way up." Her assistant said. Hinata hurriedly fixed her hair and attire wanting to look prefect for her husband's gaze. He opens the door and her smile fell instantly.

"Sasu hunny, what's wrong? Why do you look so upset?" She said in a deeply concerned tone.

Sasuke glared at her with intense fury as if he was ready to rip her apart. He threw his phone at her "What the fuck is this?" He said it quietly but she could hear the anger in his voice.

Hinata looked at the phone, it was on his social media timeline. Suddenly, her eyes were as wide as ever and she gasped loudly, it was a picture of her and a man, she was wrapped in his arms and his faced was pressed against hers, she was kissing Kiba Inazuka.

Hinata closes the app and looks back at Sasuke. She licked her lips as they were starting to dry and her throat started to burn "Hunny I can explain" She said as she approached her husband. It really wasn't much of a big deal in her head, she reached to hold his cheek.

"It's just a simple misunderstanding I wa-"she shudders as Sasuke catches her hand and pulls it away from his face stepping backwards.

"Go on explain." Sasuke said as he lets go of her hand and leans himself on the doorway.

"Explain it to me, explain HOW THE FUCK YOU'RE KISSING SOMEONE WITH YOUR WEDDING BAND ON WHO ISN'T ME!" Sasuke yells, he surprised himself as he never dreamed he would ever curse at his wife but the pain in his chest made him feel as though he wanted to burn her to ashes.

Hinata stood surprised, then her focus shifted to look behind him and saw that staff was beginning to look into her office and make some remarks she couldn't hear.

She composes herself "We'll talk about it at home, just give me five minutes." She said in a faint voice not wanting her staff to hear her. Sasuke nods his head condescendingly as he walks out of her office "I'll be in the car."

She quickly grabs the remaining paperwork and hurries to meet up with him. She had car pooled with him as his office is just up the road from her practice.

She enters the car and they drive home in complete silence, she wanted to say something but the look on his face made her want to crawl into a hole and die.

They finally get home, the car ride felt like it lasted an eternity but it was only thirty minutes, Sasuke sighs, gets out and slams the car door. Hinata nervously takes out her briefcase and follows him inside their home. She closes the door behind her and Sasuke throws his key on the entrance table, undid his tie and turns around to face her.

"Now… You were saying?" He said in a much more relaxed tone but with a blank look on his face. Hinata drops her briefcase

"Sasuke, I don't know what else to say but it not what it looks like." She said in a fairly confident voice

Sasuke scoffed "Ohh really, sorry for my misinterpretation of my wife with another man's TONGUE DOWN HER THROAT!"

"Sasuke please stop yelling at me it not what it looks like I wasn't-." Her mouth was stopped by his finger pressing against her lips "Don't lie to me." Sasuke said while looking down at her.

Hinata swallowed the lump that started forming in her throat.

"Ok." She said as she walked pass him "I'll tell you everything and this is the truth." Sasuke turns to her and nods his head.

"It happened about two weeks ago, I got a call from a lady who said she needed to see me urgently in the morning about a result she had gotten. That's the day I left for work early."

~Flashback~

Hinata was walking up to her practice as usual when Kiba came out of nowhere, she knows Kiba they're good friends. He greets her.

"Hey Hinata, how are you?" He said in an exhausted tone "Kiba, what are you doing here? And at this hour?"

"I-uh well I wanted to see you Hinata, I really needed to see you again." Kiba said as he walked closer to her

"Ok, so what's up?" She asked casually while looking for her office keys

Kiba looked over towards the bushes on his right and then embraced Hinata, he put one arm around her hip and one on her face and smothered himself on her lips.

It was less than ten seconds and Hinata quickly gave him the slap of his life. "What on earth are you doing Kiba?!" She shouted as she charged away from him to open her office door

He was shocked at her reaction she was normally timid and shy he didn't see this coming and tried to plead with her he had hoped she felt somewhat the same, after all he admired her for so long.

"Hinata I-I I'm so sorry please forgive me I just wanted to see if you had any feelings for me." Kiba said as he looked at her terrified.

"Feelings?! Are you insane?! I'm married Kiba you know that, why would I feel anything for you romantically?" She opens the door and turns to Kiba "As a matter of fact consider this friendship over I never want to see you again Kiba good bye."

Kiba frowned and he slapped himself in the face

"How could I be so stupid" He had ruined his friendship all because someone urged him to reveal his feelings for Hinata.

~End of Flashback~

Sasuke was listening to her relive the morning in question but as he listened on all he could hear were the thoughts flooding his mind.

'What else has she ever lied to me about?'

'How many times did she meet with him?'

'Has she been with anyone else?

'Was she ever going to tell me?'

'What did I do to deserve this?'

'How could she stand there and lie to him when she knows I saw the photo?'

Sasuke looked down on his phone and glances at the comments ridiculing his wife, mocking her leaked infidelity and his inability to please her. He walks away from her heading to grab a drink as he feels his eyes beginning to tear up.

She continued talking about that night with little remorse in her speech but watching Sasuke closely. To her it was nothing serious she never cheated on her husband, she loved everything about him. It wasn't an affair, it was just a simple misunderstanding, just a dumb kiss that unfortunately someone witnessed. She didn't even think about it after it happened, Kiba and the kiss was that insignificant to her.

Sasuke was still deep in thought as he pours his liquor, he takes a sip and looks at his wife with nothing but pain in his eyes and sorrow in his heart. He couldn't believe what was happening, his Hinata, the love of his life and the only thing that truly mattered to him in this world was lying to his face. Sasuke blinked away his tears angrily. He was convinced she was lying, it all made sense in his head.

'She never left for work so early before'

'She always allowed me to carry her to work but that morning she refused and told me that I should sleep in'

'If Kiba had kissed her as some misunderstanding why didn't she just tell me right after it had happened, why did she keep something like that a secret.'

Sasuke lets out a big sigh as he finishes his drink, he glares at her and slams his glass into the sink. Frightening Hinata "Enough! Just stop I've heard enough." He turns and shakes his head rubbing his temples.

"S-so do you see it was just a misunderstanding hunny, I love you it was nothing" Hinata nervously started to move closer to hold him.

He stares at her bitterly and says, "I don't believe a word you said…"

"So just tell me how many times exactly has someone else kissed you while we've been married?"

Angered by his question, she stomps up to him and slaps him rocking his face to the right "How dare you ask me that, I've never kissed anyone else"

He quickly turns his face back to her and gripped her forcefully and shook her.

"How dare I? HOW DARE I?! HOW DARE YOU!" He shouts

"Why would you keep this a secret from me if it wasn't a secret to begin with Hinata?!" His voice cracking at the end, the tears were starting to flow freely and Hinata could see the severe pain her supposed infidelity had brought him. He hadn't said her name like that in years.

"Sasu I-I'm sorry it wasn't-"

Sasuke looks at her venomously, and again placed one finger on her lips and says "shhhhh" his head was spinning he needed to get away from her.

He shrugs her away and storms out the front door.

Hinata tried to stop him but the anger was radiating off of him, she has never seen her husband this mad before and it scared her.

She started to realize how much of an impact this had and needed advice.

She took out her cellphone to call her best friends when she realized that her messages where blowing up and she had twenty missed calls.

She doesn't use her cellphone at work so she always kept it on silent until she got home.

She opens her messages to see her friends and family both equally concerned as to what had happened between her and Kiba, it was all over her social media.

Hinata sits on her couch and throws her phone across the room, she was confused she didn't know where to turn, Sasuke had just walked out on her and it seemed as if everyone she knew believed she was having an affair. "Why is this happening to me?" She whispered, as she started sobbing, bring her knees up to her chest and bowing her head into them.
