Rookie SWAT Officer, Naruto Uzumaki walks into the gym of SWAT Headquarters,
he had had a rough day, as had all of his squad had - Gail and Yuri had both been shot while he'd took a brutal beating from an arms dealer before Kari Jones was able to subdue him. Naruto dropped his duffel bag and knelt down to retrieve his mma gloves , after putting them on, he began removing his boots. Naruto began working the heavy bag with punches and kicks.
Kari entered the gym followed by Regina and Kay, who have a bet going - Kay has bet on Naruto against Regina for 500 dollars that Naruto can't beat Kari in a sparring match, Kari happily accepts their bet, Kari sees Naruto brutally kicking the heavy bag and briefly reconsiders taking on the new team member, but Kari refuses to lose to Regina and Kay, she removes her boots and gets into the ring.
"Hey there Naruto,would you care for a sparring partner?" Kari asked gently.
Naruto ceased his assault on the heavy bag and turned around slowly brushing his unruly hair out of his face with his right hand, Kari found Naruto's action extremely sexy.
"Yes Kari, I would rather enjoy having a decent spar with you." he said.
"Thank you, Naruto." Kari said.
"You won't be thanking me by the time that we're done." Naruto said with a knowing smile.
Kari and Naruto squared off in the center of the ring. Kari decided to make the first move. She threw a roundhouse kick which Naruto side-stepped Kari's attack and used a haymaker counter punch that landed flush on the other blonde's left temple, staggering Kari.
'Damn' Kari thought. 'Still too slow. I'm pausing too long to consider my attacks, instead of shifting fluidly from one strike to the next.' instinctively deciding. Kari knew that she had to throw something at Naruto that he wasn't ready for.
Kari turned her head slightly to watch Naruto out of the corner of her eyes, pushing aside her frustration. As subtle as Kari's motion was, Naruto spotted it and realized that the blonde woman had something planned. She ran forward, dropping her right hand trying to take advantage of what little surprise she had left. Naruto dropped his stance and hastily whipped around, deflecting an attempted grab of some sort. Kari slipped away from Naruto and into her familiar ready stance.
"Impressive." Kay said quietly to Regina, who was too focused on the action to respond.
Naruto lowered his shoulder and attempted to tackle Kari, she braced herself and stopped Naruto cold with a well placed ax handle blow to his shoulder blades. Naruto dropped to one knee, Kari then grabbed Naruto's right wrist and flipped the blonde onto his back using a Judo flip.
"No way, Kari's actually hanging in there with him." Kay said, utterly dumbfounded.
"That's what happens when you actually fight back instead of using the match as an excuse to be pinned by Naruto at every opportunity." Regina said to Kay, who only blushed.
Kari and Naruto quickly scramble to their feet and stare at one another.
Naruto smiled at Kari.
"I can see why you're the hand to hand expert on Alpha Team, but sadly." Naruto struck decisively with a Palm Heel Strike, followed by an uppercut that took Kari down.
"Well, so much for betting against Naruto." Regina said grimly as she opened her wallet.
Kay grinned like a kid on Christmas morning as she took Regina's money and left the gym.
"Good spar, Naruto, you're really great at fighting." Kari said as Naruto grasped her right hand and pulled his colleague to her feet.
Kari, even though she lost couldn't bring herself to be angry with Naruto.
Naruto soon began garnering the attention of many women around the station, though he seemed to be oblivious of it.
Meanwhile, in Konoha...
The normally vibrant and bustling village was now a shell of its former self, Tsunade had resigned as Hokage when Naruto had been banished and all of those who were close to him quit as shinobi, as they didn't want to take orders from Danzo and the Civilian Council.
Criminals from all over are converging on Konoha and begin to reek havoc on the village.
Danzo is meeting with his two other Council members.
"We must find Uzumaki and bring him back here to get these criminals out of the village!" Koharu shouts.
"Agreed, but no one knows where the boy is, and I highly doubt that anyone who is loyal to him will tell us where he is, if they know at all." Danzo says.
Back in LA...
Naruto and Alpha Team are preparing to breach a warehouse where a gang is storing a large amount of meth that has been prepackaged for delivery and around 7 million dollars in cash were being kept by the Red Foxes street gang, led by Andre Parkinson, a three time felon out of Albany. Carol gives the team their orders, she orders Naruto to enter from the roof on the south side of the building with Regina and Kari while she, Gail, and Yuri distracted the suspects.
The operation went flawlessly, two of the suspects were killed by Regina's deadly accuracy and Naruto took down Parkinson with an Ushigoroshi (Fireman's Carry to Neckbreaker) wrestling move.
Once Parkinson and his remaining six henchmen were booked and put in jail, Alpha Team went home for the night.
The next day, Naruto came into the SIS Office, an effervescent smile on his face.
Kari, Regina and the other ladies of Alpha Team have quickly come to love seeing the blonde man's vibrant smile. Too them, it was as precious as sunlight or the very air they breathed.
Naruto's team was off today, though he was content to do paperwork, Bravo Team member, Melina Arnold sauntered up to the blonde's desk.
"Hello Naruto, I thought you were off today?" the ebony Officer asks in a flirty tone.
"I was, but I need to get my paperwork caught up, no point in being great in the field, but bad behind the desk."
