Merry Christmas, guys! Not only is this being put out today, but so is chapter six of my other story! I hope this new story is to your liking, and have a great day in these merry times!
"So, you finally found me, huh?" Goku asked with a smile, as the son of the Demon King, Piccolo, glided through the fog. Piccolo said nothing as Goku turned around, revealing his scowl. Goku chuckled, entering a fighting stance as Piccolo did the same, mirroring his stance as if to mock him. "Let's do this!" Goku shouted, and Piccolo dashed through the air towards him, and Goku collided with him.
The area around them shook from the force they produced, the cliff nearby cracking and then falling into the river far below, creating a massive splash that reached up to where they were. Goku grit his teeth as he kicked himself off of Piccolo and went for one big punch, but it was blocked by Piccolo. "I see you've been keeping up with your training as well, Piccolo!" Goku shouted.
Piccolo went on the offensive, a flurry of blows that began to overwhelm him. Goku's blood was pumping, his adrenaline reaching a newfound peak. Just as he went for another blow, he opened his eyes, feeling Izuku tugging on him.
Goku opened his eyes, seeing the terrain that had been destroyed by his fake battle just as beautiful as it had been when he had begun his image training. The waterfall still had water rushing down in front of him, providing a constant downpour, music to his ears. Goku stood up and turned around, looking down at his four-year-old son.
"Mom's almost done with breakfast, huh?" Goku assumed, and his son nodded. Goku picked up Izuku, who almost dropped the basket he was holding, and tossed him into the air, catching him with ease. "Well, we better get some apples like your mom wanted." Goku walked around with Izuku, searching the forest for enough apples to feed his family, which was more than you would think, given that both he and Izuku had massive appetites.
It didn't take long, even when they did have to stop so Izuku could take a break to go to the bathroom, and they soon returned to Goku's home in the mountains, a Capsule Corporation home next to the one Grandpa Gohan raised him in, courtesy of his friend, Bulma. Inside, his wife, Inko was cooking a proportionally large meal, fit to feed all three of them.
They enjoyed an excellent breakfast, as Inko was an amazing cook, and he soon took Izuku back out to continue his training. Goku had started teaching him martial arts when he turned three, with the permission of Inko, and he was already leagues ahead of where Goku had been when he had first met Bulma. About four times as strong, even at less than half as old as he had been back then.
He had learned a lot, but he still needed to get more training, and years worth. He only had the basics of Ki and how to use, and a decent grasp on martial arts. Izuku stood a couple feet away from Goku, eagerly awaiting his next lesson, perhaps because of what would happen afterwards. "I know you want to get this over with soon, so I think I'll just do a demonstration of what you'll learn today," Goku said, preparing to show Izuku something he didn't know his father could do.
Goku pushed his energy down to his feet and felt a similar energy forcing his feet upwards, pushing him into the sky. Since his training under Kami, he had been able to fly just like this. "You need to push your Ki downwards, and then you can fly!" Goku encouraged, and he watched as his son attempt to mirror what he had done.
Izuku's face scrunched up as he used all of his might to slowly levitate into the sky, eventually reaching Goku's own height. Izuku grinned proudly. "Good job!" Goku praised, surprised by how soon his son had learned to fly. It had taken him a lot longer to figure this out when he was a kid, but here his son was, learning it like a pro.
Goku taught him how to descend by doing the exact opposite, and when they were back on solid ground, Goku yelled, "Nimbus!" For a moment, Izuku looked up at him, confused, but then Goku heard a familiar whirring noise. Soon, Izuku saw why Goku had called out that word he first said all those years ago. A yellow cloud, big enough to fit the both of them, floated in front of them.
Goku jumped up onto the Nimbus, and picked up Izuku, putting him in his lap. The Nimbus took off, heading straight for their destination, miles away, in the Pacific Ocean.
High in the sky, a space pod rocketed towards the ground, disrupting the calm on a man's farm, destroying plenty of crops. The door to the pod slowly opened, revealing a muscled man with hair so long that it went down to his knees. The man stepped out, revealing a brown tail, similar to that of a monkey. Looking around, the alien invader, Raditz, tapped a button on a strange device that was over one of his eyes.
The device, called a Scouter, began to beep rapidly, detecting the power levels of everyone there. As he checked his Scouter, Raditz noticed a farmer standing right in front of his crater. Raditz smirked and walked up to him. "A power level of five? Kakarot, how the hell did you screw this up?" Raditz questioned to himself, wondering how his little brother couldn't properly rid this planet of all life.
"Y-You better get off my land, or I'll shoot!" the farmer warned, but it fell on deaf ears as Raditz continued to look for where his brother could potentially be. A high power level of four hundred and nine was all alone not too far away. Seeing that as a potential candidate for his brother's location, Raditz flew off towards that power level.
Just as he left, the farmer shot at him, and reacting faster than lightning, Raditz caught the bullet. Laughing at the farmer's stupidity, he propped the crushed bullet up in his hand, ready to flick it towards him. Just as fast as his machine had shot it, the bullet zoomed towards him, killing him on impact. Raditz shook his head, disappointed, and continued to fly away from the corpse.
With his immense speed, Raditz soon made it over to where the, by comparison to the farmer, high power level was located, a mountainous wasteland devoid of Earthlings, mostly just plant life native to Earth, and a few species of insects. When he approached, he saw that it was definitely not his brother, because it was a Namekian wearing a large cape and turban, meditating as if he didn't know Raditz had approached.
"You there, Namekian! Do you know where a man named Kakarot is?" Raditz demanded as he landed in front of him. The Namekian stood up, and looked at him, frowning. He seemed cautious, perhaps he somehow had an ability to tell how strong he was without a scouter. Namekian magic was always so confusing to him.
The Namekian said, "I don't know who the hell you are, what a 'Nanekian' is,or that 'Kakarot' guy!" At this point, Raditz was getting pretty frustrated. Why the hell was a Namekian, who didn't even know of his origins, here in the first place? Had he managed to kill Kakarot without knowing it? His brother had been pretty weak when he was born, and considering the fact that the Namekian had a power level of over four hundred, it was plausible. Angered by the notion, Raditz decided to leave the Namekian with a gift.
A mixture of purple and pink energy formed in his hands as he floated into the sky. "Say goodbye to your pathetic existence, Namekian!" Raditz shouted as his energy reached its peak. Then, his Scouter beeped, detecting an even higher power level far away, in the direction of a nearby body of water. Raditz's attack dissipated as he took off, leaving that Namekian behind in search of Kakarot. They had some important business to discuss.
Izuku could see the island they were heading towards in the distance. Squinting, he tried to read what was painted in big, bold red letters on it, but he failed to do so from as far away as they were. The cloud they were riding was fast enough that they made it to the island not long after he could see it on the horizon, and they descended down to the island, where a Capsule Corporation branded flying vehicle was at, being the only mode of transportation there, confusing Izuku. How did people get to and from here usually?
Izuku assumed these people also knew how to fly, just like he could. His dad put Izuku on the ground before departing the floating cloud himself and picking him back up, when a group of three people and a turtle came out. One was a bald elderly man wearing sunglasses and a giant, purple turtle shell on his back. Another was a short, bald man with six dots on his head, wearing an orange hi similar to his father's. The third of them was a blue-haired woman that seemed familiar to him. Where had he seen her before?
"Hey, Goku and Goku's kid!" the bald man exclaimed obliviously, until a look of realization dawned on his face. "Goku! You have a kid!?" he loudly said, alarmed. The blue-haired woman and the old man both had stunned looks on their face. The bald man slid up to Goku and elbowed him gently, whispering something Izuku couldn't hear even though he was in his father's arms.
"Huh? We just did some special training and then she was pregnant!" Goku explained loudly, seeming embarrassed, making Izuku wonder what they were talking about. His innocent mind began to ponder the question that had been asked as his father introduced him to his friends. Shaking his head, Goku gestured towards Izuku, sitting happily in his arms. "This is Izuku!" Goku said happily.
"He doesn't look much like you," the blue-haired woman commented, speaking to the old man, but still loud enough that Izuku heard it perfectly well. He did get a lot more from his mother than his father, with the exception of his hair being black and wild, but his was a lot more tamed than his father's, probably thanks to his mother's genes in him. Either his father didn't hear her, or he chose to ignore it, because he began to introduce his friends to Izuku.
"That short guy, he's Krillin! Me and him have been friends since we were kids!" Goku explained, and Izuku began to look at the man, who was not nearly as tall as his father, in a new light. Krillin had to be a powerful fighter if he worked with his father when they were kids. Izuku wondered how far away from being at Krillin's level he was, and how long it would take him to catch up. Izuku liked to train a lot, even if he still did have to go to school in Musutafu, the city just outside of where they lived, but he studied just as hard, and he was ahead of most of his class.
"That's Bulma! She's known me even longer than Krillin has!" Goku said, pointing at the blue-haired woman, and his explanation caused something in his mind to click. His friend, Bulma, was the helm of Capsule Corporation! She had taken over the family business a while ago, she was practically famous in Musutafu, which was the reason he had heard of her. The other kids in his school tended to talk about the newest inventions of the company, which happened pretty often.
Goku went on to the elderly man. "That guy's Master Roshi! He taught me most of what I know!" Izuku was realizing just how amazing his father's friends were. Why had he never talked about them? Izuku would be more than willing to listen to tales of the adventures they must've went on together!
Bulma walked up to Goku, looking quite angry. "How come you never visit!? It's not like you can't, you still live in that forest I met you in, right!?" she shouted, and Goku gulped loudly before he nodded, looking as scared as he did when his mother had gotten mad at him. That happened once, and his father had looked like he had barely survived afterwards. "You only live a couple miles away, and you can fly that in like a minute!" Bulma complained loudly.
The festivities where cut short when Goku looked quite alarmed. Bulma kept talking, but Goku ignored her. Izuku looked over at Krillin and Master Roshi. All three were looking in the same direction, out towards the ocean. "Is something wrong?" Izuku and Bulma asked in unison.
"Someone's coming. Someone more powerful than me," Goku said darkly. Bulma looked scared, and Izuku shared her sentiments. If someone was stronger than his dad, who would be able to beat them?
"Is it Piccolo?" Bulma asked, piquing Izuku's interest. Before he could ask who Piccolo was, a man with a tail just like his own landed on the ground. The man, who towered over them all, was clearly strong. He was extremely muscular, and he wore armor definitely not from this world. It was a chest plate with large shoulder pauldrons and two flaps of sort that came down from the belt, which was where his tail also rested. He also wore protective gloves with thick, orange bands built into it. His outfit also revealed much of his legs, showing off even more muscle. It seemed to be to intimidate someone, and it definitely worked on Izuku. Just before he had landed, Goku pushed Izuku to the side, and so far, the man hadn't noticed him.
"Kakarot! What the hell have you been doing since you got here? Why haven't you exterminated these Earthlings!?" the man demanded, his rage apparent in his tone.
"Are you talking to me?" Goku asked innocently. The man scowled.
"Yes, I'm talking to you! You're Kakarot, you idiot!" the man scolded. This guy clearly had the wrong person, his father couldn't kill everyone on Earth, he was too good. Not as good as All Might, but he was still up there.
"No, my name's Goku! I don't know who you think I am, but you've got the wrong guy!" Goku shouted, now looking completely serious. His demeanor had changed just like that.
"You look just like our father, you're Kakarot! What'd you do, hit your head when you were little?" the man shouted. Izuku was confused, 'our' father? Was this guy his uncle that he didn't know about? As he listened to the conversation behind his father, Izuku pondered the man's true origin. Everyone around him was stunned as the man began to explain. "You and I are brothers. We hail from a nearly extinct race called the Saiyans, who serve under a tyrannical emperor far away from this backwater planet!"
While Izuku was definitely confused, this made him wonder, was he a half alien, if this were true and wasn't some farce made up by this stranger? Why hadn't he visited before if he tried to come earlier if he were so concerned about his 'family'? "You were sent here as a child to purge this planet of any life, but you can't do anything right, can you?" the man said with a frown. "You have twenty four hours before I destroy this planet, with or without you. If you don't bring me a pile of fifty people, you can kiss this planet goodbye!" he shouted.
Krillin ran towards the alien in righteous anger. "No one threatens my friends!" he roared as he reared back a fist, only to be slapped away effortlessly by the man's tail.
His father looked pretty angry from that, even if Izuku couldn't see his face. Then, his father charged in to defend his friend, which blew Izuku's cover. When his supposed uncle slammed a fist into his father's chest, sending him flying onto the sand, he noticed Izuku standing there, in the open. "Oh, what's this? You've been busy, Kakarot! At least you helped to expand the Saiyan race while you were out here!" the man commended sarcastically. The man approached him, and Izuku got into a fighting stance. If this guy wanted to take him, Izuku wouldn't go quietly. His uncle laughed in his face as he picked him up.
"Look at your pathetic father! If he couldn't do anything to me, what makes you think you could do anything!" he questioned loudly, and Izuku dropped his arms and legs down in his grasp, defeated. Then, his uncle flew off, taking him with him, and far away from his father. He had been kidnapped.
