Disclaimer:Sadly, I do not own CSI. My imagination is just taking them out to play.

Author's Note: So this is going to be my first multi chapter CSI story. I know where this story is going, so just bear with me while I get there. I don't have a set length for this story. I started writing this first chapter and it took on a life of it's own. This is AU so in my world some things in the show didn't happen, like Natalie Davis, sabbaticals and Grissom never had a relationship with Lady Heather. This is not set in any particular time line, but if I had to say then it would be around season 5-6. It's also going to get angsty soon.

The house was quiet except for the pants and moans coming from the bedroom and the snores of the dog who was trying not to pay attention to what his owners were currently doing behind the closed door.

"Griss." Sara moaned as she dug her nails into his back so hard that she was sure it would leave marks.

He grunted into her neck as he continued pumping into her slowly. He could tell she was close. He knew her body like the back of his own hand.

"Sara." Grissom panted. "Sweet Sara. So good darlin', it's always so damn good."

"Harder, baby, please." Sara pleaded as she gripped his hair and sucked on his collar bone.

Grissom obliged her and pumped his hips harder and faster. He could feel the tingle starting in the bottom of his spine but he was determined to hold off as long as possible. Reaching between them, he found her bundle of nerves and circled it with his thumb.

"Come on, darlin'." He groaned into her neck.

Suddenly the sound of a cell phone ringing filled the room, causing Sara's eyes to snap open.

"Don't you even think about stopping." Sara growled as she locked eyes with Grissom.

Grissom smirked at her as he took her mouth and kept working her bud while he pumped into her. He felt her tighten around him as she arched her back and moaned his name as she came hard. Grissom kept pumping into her and Sara knew what he needed from her. He always held himself back until he was sure she was fully taken care of.

"I love you, Griss. Come for me baby." Sara whispered as she kissed his neck.

Grissom pumped faster and groaned as he released himself inside of her. He then collapsed on top of her while she wrapped her arms around him and ran her hands through his damp curls. They lay wrapped around each other while they got their breathing under control just as the ringing started again.

"You've got to be fucking kidding me." Grissom mumbled as he rolled off of Sara and reached for the offending device on the bedside table.

"Grissom." He snapped as he answered the phone.

"Well hello to you too." Brass chuckled. "Did I interrupt something?"

"No, I made sure to finish it. Why do you think I didn't answer the first time?" Grissom smiled as he turned to Sara and kissed the smirk on her face.

"No need to elaborate, Romeo." Brass deadpanned. "We still on for poker at your place tonight?"

"Of course, Jim. I always look forward to taking your money." Grissom laughed as he played with Sara's hair.

"Yeah, we'll see about that." Brass huffed. "See ya later."

Grissom closed his phone and tossed it on the end of the bed before he pulled Sara into his side and nuzzled her neck. He felt her hands in his hair and he sighed in contentment.

"Remind me again why we invited people over?" Grissom mumbled, his face still buried in Sara's neck.

"Because it's the first night we've all had off together in a while and we love our friends." Sara laughed when she heard the pout in Grissom's voice. She loved how mushy he always was after sex.

"I love you more." Grissom kissed her neck. "I just want to stay in bed with you until we go back to work."

"As much as I love the idea of that stud, something tells me I would have a hard time walking if we stayed in bed for two days." Sara giggled.

"I can confine you to the lab." Grissom ran his hand down her stomach. "You can help me with anything that pops up."

"You're terrible!" Sara slapped his arm. "Ecklie would definitely call that preferential treatment."

"Ecklie can kiss my ass." Grissom huffed. "He's just jealous because his wife isn't as hot as mine."

"Uh huh." Sara smirked as she kissed him. "Well you have a poker game to set up for and I need a shower."

Grissom protested as Sara climbed out of bed and headed toward the bathroom. As he watched her go, he ran his hand over his beard and thought about how lucky was. He was at a point in his life that at one time he never thought possible.

Climbing out of bed, he pulled on a pair of jeans and a blue t-shirt before opening the door to a whining Hank.

"She's in the shower, bud." Grissom scratched the dog's head before Hank ran toward the bathroom.

"Hey baby boy!" Sara greeted the dog cheerfully. The boxer was like her child and would follow her everywhere she went.

Grissom smirked as he headed into the kitchen to start the coffee pot. While he waited for the coffee to brew, he walked over to his poker table in the corner of the living room and began setting it up. As bad as he hated to give up his much treasured alone time with Sara, Grissom had to admit that he was looking forward to a night with their friends.

Once Grissom was done setting up the poker table, he headed into the kitchen and reached into their alcohol cabinet. He knew the boys would bring their own beer and Sara had some wine for her and Catherine so he made sure to pull out his best scotch and bourbon for himself and Brass. Then he made his way over to the couch and grabbed the previous days paper.

Thirty minutes later, the sound of Hank's nails on the hardwood floor announced that Sara was done with her shower. She emerged from the bedroom in a pair of jeans and a tank top with the dog on her heels. She grinned when she saw Grissom engrossed in his latest crossword puzzle. Just then the doorbell rang, sending Hank running toward the front door barking.

"I got it." Grissom tossed his crossword and pen on the coffee table before getting up and heading toward the door, smacking Sara on the behind as he passed her.

Grissom opened the door to find Brass holding an armful of pizza boxes. He had to grab Hank by the collar to keep the dog from knocking Brass over once he got a whiff of the food.

"Easy Cujo." Brass laughed as he walked into the house.

"Jim, you didn't have to bring food!" Sara said as she helped him deposit the boxes onto the countertop.

"Hey Cookie." Brass kissed her cheek in greeting. "I figured it's the least I could do since I plan on taking your old man's money tonight."

"I wouldn't get my hopes up if I were you, Jim." Grissom said as he got down plates from the cabinet. "You still owe me money from the last time we played."

The doorbell rang again and Sara headed toward the door with Hank right behind her. Nick and Greg were on the other side arguing over the beer Greg had picked up. Warrick and Catherine were on the porch behind them, laughing at the two men.

"I cannot believe you got light beer!" Nick complained as they entered the kitchen.

"It's better for you. It has less calories." Greg argued.

"Who the hell cares about calories in beer?" Nick answered as he put the beer in the fridge. "From now on, I'm in charge of the alcohol."

"Well Nicky, maybe you need to join the men and drink the good stuff." Brass grinned as he poured two glasses of scotch and handed one to Grissom.

Everyone grabbed a plateful of pizza and their drink of choice then headed into the living room. The boys headed straight for the poker table while Sara and Catherine took seats at the counter. Hank weaseled his way under the poker table beside Grissom and Sara knew he was sneaking the dog bites of pizza. She was busy watching her boys and didn't notice the way Catherine was watching her.

"So, when are you going to tell him?" Catherine eyed the brunette.

Sara almost choked on the bite of veggie pizza she had just taken as she looked at Catherine with wide eyes.

"You okay honey?" Grissom called from the poker table.

"I'm fine." Sara kept her eyes on Catherine. "What are you talking about?"

"Oh come on, Sara." Catherine grinned. "I've noticed the changes. You guys have been trying for a while, right?"

"We, uh, we haven't been preventing it." Sara took a drink of her water. "Gil's worried he's too old."

"Oh, please. He's barely 50. There's men much older than him having kids." Catherine scoffed. "How far along are you?"

"Twelve weeks." Sara smiled as she watched her husband sip his scotch while he threw some poker chips into the growing pile on the table. "I found out a few weeks ago at my yearly exam. I have the perfect gift for Gil."

"Well, what better time to tell him?" Catherine smiled. "All of your family is here tonight!"

It didn't take much convincing for Sara to realize that Catherine was right.

"I'll be right back." Sara said as she got up and headed to the hall closet where she had stashed her surprise gift for Grissom. She grabbed the plain white box and headed toward the living room.

Catherine practically jumped off the couch as she got up to follow Sara. When they made it to the poker table, there was a very intense stare down going on between Grissom and Greg.

"You're bluffing." Greg said as he eyed his boss.

"Am I, Greg?" Grissom smirked as he tossed a handful of chips onto the pile.

"Okay." Greg licked his lips as he pushed his remaining chips to the middle of the table. "I'm all in."

"Oh man, Greggo." Nick snickered as he downed his beer. "You are so screwed."

"I'm out." Brass threw his cards down.

"Too rich for my blood." Warrick tossed his own cards down.

"Moment of truth, Greg." Grissom smirked.

Greg laid his cards out on the table with a broad smile. He had a diamond flush.

"Ah, Greg." Grissom sighed, laying his own cards down to reveal a full house.

"Damnit!" Greg slammed his hands on the table.

"I told ya you were screwed, man!" Nick laughed.

Grissom pulled the pile of poker chips towards him when he noticed Sara and Catherine. Sara was holding a small white box and he noticed that she looked nervous.

"Sara, is everything okay?" Grissom watched as she walked over to him.

"Yeah, everything is fine." Sara smiled at him. "I just have something I've been meaning to give to you and Catherine convinced me that tonight is the perfect time."

Grissom was thoroughly confused. He was sure that it wasn't a holiday or their anniversary. His birthday had already passed. He kept his eyes on her as she reached him and set the box down in front of him. He eyed the box like it was a key piece of evidence.

"Open it." Sara smiled at him.

Grissom took the top off the box and moved the tissue paper aside. He found what looked like a small, black shirt. Pulling it from the box, he found that it was a baby onesie.

"No way." Nick whispered, earning a smack from Catherine and a "Shh!"

Opening the onesie, Grissom saw what was written across the front of it, CSI IN TRAINING. His eyes widened as he looked at Sara to see tears in her eyes.

"Are you…" His words trailed off as Sara nodded her head.

"You're going to be a daddy." Sara gave him her full smile as tears streamed down her face.

The room erupted in a round of congratulations and cheers but Grissom heard none of it. He was on his feet and pulling Sara into his arms. He looked into her eyes and his hand immediately went to her belly.

"We made a baby." His voice was full of love and amazement. "I'm going to be a daddy."
