First time I've written fanfiction in a while, but I couldn't get this one out of my head, almost like it was writing itself.

Disclaimer: I do not own My Hero Academia or any of it's characters. Only my Ocs.

I can't change the past

I've shed so many tears

Can't believe I've lasted this long

I see now that I'm wrong

The only way out of here

Is the way I've avoided for all of my life

There's so many things I wanna say

But there's too many things left in the way

I'm lost, please help me find my place

You're the only one, please lead me out of the dark

Prologue

He had heard that this year's sport festival had been an interesting one but he failed to take into account how interesting it could be. He sat back in his chair, folding his hands in front of his face in deep contemplation. The light from the TV flickered across his features in the otherwise dark room.

He watched carefully as the young girl on the screen narrowly avoided attack.

Her evasion skill was impressive to say the least, but that wasn't what drew his attention. In the last attack the mask covering the bottom half of her face had been damaged and now hung lazily exposing a nasty scar that trailed just shy of her ear to the bottom of her chin. His eyes narrowed zeroing in on the familiar scar. This glimpse at the hero in training's true face was short lived as she quickly, and without missing a beat, replaced her damaged mask with an exact replica of the one before. "Wow folks I guess a hero must always come prepared to conceal their identity. Where exactly is she keeping these back up masks?"

A few moments went by before he finally spoke. "I'd like you to find out as much as you can about this girl. I trust that you can get to the bottom of this, discretely, at least for now. If she is who we think she is, she could prove quite useful to our cause."

The women beside him chuckled to herself lowly as she rose from her own chair, "Certainly. Though, getting anywhere near that girl with everything that's happened will prove to be quite difficult, but I do like a challenge. Especially for a story as juicey as this one."

He smiled to himself at the obvious obsession she had behind her words, "Excellent."

A bit on the short side but it's just the Prologue folks (: If you'd like to leave a review it would be much appreciated, even if it's a flame.
