All the time the three of them used to hang out, Percy and Jason would say that they were going to adopt Nico as a brother
The three "bros" got really close to the point even Nico softened upto his "brothers"
They would tease each other relentlessly about their significant others.
They would sneak into the Posiedon cabin to watch movies
They would play board games and Nico finally taught them how to play mythomagic!
They were close
They were so close
Then
It happened
And it happened so fast
1) Jason and Piper broke up
"It turns out...she liked girls more!" Jason said, trying not to cry as Percy and Nico comforted him
"I mean, I support her but..." Jason trailed off
They stopped teasing each other
Because even if they teased Nico, Nico would feel bad about Jason when he tried to retort
"Now you can't retort to me!" Jason said, grinning
"I can still get you for the brick! Or how gay you and Percy act!" Nico said, chuckling
"I'm not in love with a brick! And I'm not gay for Percy! That was you!" Jason said, scrunching his nose
"But now it's you!" Nico teased
"I'm irresistible!" Percy announced
"I'm too hot!" Percy said, finger gunning at Jason
"Hot Dam!" Jason sang
The two boys looked at Nico, who sighed at looked down
Then slyly looked up with a smirk and an eye roll
"Call a police and. a fireman!" He sang along as the other bros cheered and then they continued the song!
Everything was different
But different didn't necessarily mean bad
It was fun
And the brotherly love between the 3 grew
Then the other thing happened
