The demigods all laughed and jumped as they raced to the café. The gods were grinning and smiling as they followed them.

"Hey Hugo!" Percy said

"Hello Percy." Hugo smiled "How may I help you today?" he asked

"Mochas for everybody." Percy grinned. Hugo nodded and came back five minutes later with trays of mochas. The demigods grinned and they all took one and so did the gods and Chiron.

"Hey, didn't we have the spar?" Ares asked. Percy grinned.

"Yep." He said and pulled out his sword. "You ready?" he asked. Ares smirked and pulled out his own sword. Everybody cheered as the two of them came to the center.

"No powers." Percy said. Ares nodded.

"Actually war is his power so it is only fair if you can use water but you can't heal with it." Apollo said. Percy nodded and smirked at Ares.

"Okay then." He said.

The two of them raised their swords and moved as they analyzed each other. Both their faces were completely impassive when suddenly Ares jumped to the side as Percy had slashed toward his arm. Ares slashed from his sword when Percy flipped. He and Ares smirked at each other.

Then the floor started shaking a little when a water spout burst open from a fissure in the ground. Percy struck toward the god who was distracted by the water and Percy got the first hit in the arm which left a small cut.

"FIRST BLOOD GOES TO PERCY!" Hermes announced as the ones who bet on Percy cheered. Ares nodded approvingly at Percy who grinned. Then out of nowhere Ares struck and left a cut on Percy's leg. The demigod barely grimaced. Ares smirked. Then Percy smirked as he struck on Ares's shoulder which left a medium sized cut. Ares nodded. The two of them parried and slashed for some time before Ares struck on Percy's arm but Percy anticipated the move and left a good sized cut on Ares's arm. He grimaced a little but it didn't faze him as much.

Percy smirked. Ares struck toward Percy's leg but Percy jumped and turned to slash at Ares who slashed at the same time. The two of them ended with their swords at each other's neck as they grinned. Everybody cheered at the top of their lungs. Some people whistled. Ares nodded approvingly.

"Nice match, punk but right now I'm not a complete god." He said. Percy chuckled.

"Percy can do more. This was just training." Rachel said. Ares looked at the red demigod with wide eyes. The gods had similar reactions. The demigods were grinning and the sea gang smirked. Apollo and Will went and healed the injuries. The demigods collected their money from some of the gods. Frank and Clarisse had both bet on a tie, knowing what Percy can do. Hermes and Apollo had bet on Percy winning and Dionysus and Chiron had bet on a tie. So had Artemis and Hephaestus.

Even if some of them lost, they were still grinning widely and applauded for both of them.

"Hey Beckendorf, I need your help. We have to find the materials and all." Leo said. Beckendorf nodded and the two of them left to the places that they knew some of the materials were.

They came back in two hours and everybody had decided to rest for the afternoon by then. Leo saw a satyr and asked him to call the demigods. The satyr nodded and Leo thanked him. He went to call all the demigods who came quickly as they rubbed the sleep out of their eyes.

"We've got all the materials. We need to power to merge them now." Leo said.

"Apollo?" Percy asked. Leo nodded.

"Him and dad." Beckendorf said

"Can we die here?" Percy asked. There was a note in his hands. He sighed.

"They say that we can't die. The fates." Percy said.

"Okay then." Leo nodded "I needed to use the fire as well." He said.

"Let's go wake everybody." Nico said, his lips twitching for a smile.

"There's no need for that. We're already awake." Apollo said as everybody came out of their quarters.

"My forges." Hephaestus said as he studied the materials. The demigods and gods went to their forges.

"Demigods and Apollo only but you guys can watch from outside. Wear these for protection." Hephaestus said and distributed sets of protection glasses.

"This is for the artificial light source right?" Apollo asked. Leo nodded.

"I think I got my powers back." Apollo said suddenly. The other gods except Hephaestus didn't have the same luck.

"I think they gave them back just for the task." Percy said. The two gods nodded.

"So what are we supposed to do, Leo?" Annabeth asked

"Okay so listen carefully. A set of demigods will hold the materials together while me, dad and Apollo focus our energy on them. If it's possible then we need Will and Nico as well." Leo said. Nico and Will nodded.

"I'll help with holding the materials. I know the fates said that we can't die in this process but safety is in order and I'm technically already dead." Castor said. Pollux and Dionysus grimaced but didn't say anything.

"I'll help." Jason nodded. Silena, Beckendorf, Lee and Michael nodded. Leo clapped his hands together.

"Okay then." He said.

"So just focus some hold the materials together and apply some force on them." Beckendorf said as he bent down on his knees. The others who would help followed him.

"Thalia we might need some lightning power." Leo said. The daughter of Zeus nodded and stepped forward.

"Okay ready?" Leo asked. The ones I the process nodded.

"3.. 2..1. Go" Percy said. The ones channeling their power all held out their hands and everybody saw the power fly from them. Leo's fire ability along with his dad's brought a bright orange light. Will's and Apollo's brought a yellow one while Nico's brought some dark and black power.

"Thalia!" Leo said. Thalia immediately shot some bolts of lightning.

"We need some moisture!" Beckendorf called, his voice a little strained.

"Percy!" Leo called. Percy rushed forward and gave a light spray of water.

"A bit more." Leo said. Percy did it again.

"Keep going every five seconds." Leo said. Percy nodded. Every five seconds he would give a big or small spray of water depending on Leo's orders.

"STOP!" Beckendorf shouted. Everybody immediately stopped channeling the power. The ones holding the material and the demigods looked at the fiery ball of artificial light in front of them and passed out from exhaustion except Percy and Thalia. Apollo and Hephaestus were quite tired too. The other gods and the two demigods rushed forward and lifted the demigods.

"They have a fever." Poseidon said worriedly. Apollo went to all the demigods along with Dionysus and Chiron as they patched up the demigods. They all regained consciousness and sighed.

"Did we do it?" Nico asked. Hephaestus nodded proudly. The demigods smiled.

"Whoa, that looks awesome." Leo said. The demigods nodded.

"Well dad, we gotta teleport it now." Nico said as he chuckled. Hades gave him a smile He was very grateful to the demigods for doing this.

"Thank you so much." He said

"Eh, no worries." Percy waved it away. The gods looked very amazed and some looked proud of what just happened. Apollo snapped his fingers and the artificial light source disappeared.

"It's in your room. Currently it's just a ball without light but I'll activate it later." He said. Hades nodded.

"You guys need rest. Now." Hermes said. The demigods chuckled, saluted him and went to their dorms. Percy and Thalia stayed back, claiming that they didn't use much power.

"You're still going to sleep." Poseidon said sternly. Zeus nodded. Thalia and Percy raised an eyebrow at Zeus but nodded nonetheless.

The demigods woke up in an hour.

"Hey Thals and Superman, wanna wake up Nico?" Percy asked as he went to their rooms.

"Does it look like we have a death wish?" Jason asked dryly

"Come on guys." Percy said.

"Fine." Thalia grinned. Jason got up as well.

"WAKE UP DEATH BOY!" The three cousins yelled once they reached Nico's room. Nico groaned and held up his middle finger.

"Oh you're dead." Thalia said. The three cousins jumped on a yelling Nico. Percy got up and dragged him off the bed with his legs. Nico was groaning.

"STOP THAT, JACKSON!" he screamed. Percy smirked. Nico sat up and jumped on Percy dragging him to the ground. Percy was laughing. Jason took a photo as he laughed. Thalia was making a video.

The four cousins finally got up, chuckled and went outside. They saw the other demigods dragging themselves to the pavilion as well.

"Hey guys, you're awake." Hermes nodded and smiled.

"Yep. It's great out here." Lee said. Everybody nodded.

"Maybe we could do the next reading here?" Connor asked.

"That's a good idea." Apollo nodded. The gods shrugged.

"Sure." Aphrodite said.

*Time break*

The rest of the day and the next day passed as conversation flew around and as everybody relaxed. The five big three kids went for another round of bowling and then relaxed by the pool. The Hermes gang and Apollo gang went to the gaming arcade. Poseidon, Triton and Amphitrite went for a movie. Ares, Clarisse and Frank sparred. Hephaestus, Leo and Beckendorf were in the forges as they learnt new things. Tyson helped them out.

Athena and Zeus were in some deep thoughts. They had realized that Percy and Nico had heard their conversation and now their kids knew as well. They knew that a simple apology would not do and they had to show that they were changing and this time not just for show but for real. Zeus was still a little paranoid about it but he thought that he would try but not get all soft but he wanted to improve his relationship with his kids when he had the chance.

Katie, Demeter and Persephone wanted to have a picnic and Hades went along begrudgingly. Dionysus and his kids would hang out with Ariadne and baked some cookies and cakes. The three kids were just glad that they had a relaxed step mother.

After two days had passed from finishing the last book of the first set, Chiron said that they should start reading again. Everybody nodded and went to the pavilion and took their places.

"I'll read first." Annabeth said and picked up the book.

Introduction

Look, I'm only in this for the pizza.

Everybody turned to look at Percy who grinned.

The publisher was like, 'Oh, you did…enough for me to read books.

The demigods nodded.

"True words." Travis said

Then they promised me a year's supply…I sold out

Everybody chuckled.

"Understandable." Thalia nodded. They all nodded.

I guess it's cool…mattress from any dude named Crusty.

"Wasn't that guy in the first book? Procrustes?" Chris asked. Annabeth, Percy and Grover nodded

"Ergo guy." Katie nodded. Everybody laughed at that.

But the best reason to read about the old Greek heroes…They totally got the short end of the Celestial stick.

The demigods nodded.

"I've done that before. You know read about those heroes to make myself feel better." Jason laughed. They all agreed with that.

The gods sighed.

By the way, if you don't know me…no one had screwed up before

Everybody chuckled and nodded.

Let's pick twelve of them…then I don't know what will.

"That's true. It should work." Nico said

So get your flaming spear…steal loot from evil people

The demigods grinned.

"Yeahh whoo!" The Stolls grinned. They all snickered.

Then, for dessert, we'll die painful tragic deaths

"The all-time favorite." Reyna snickered.

The demigods burst out laughing.

Ready? Sweet. Let's do this.

"Yeah, let's go!" Leo whooped. Everybody snickered.

"This was the introduction so I'll do the next chapter as well." Annabeth said. They all nodded.
