Chapter 1: Like Dr. Phil Meets Jerry Springer.

Alex was a few years older than Dean when their mother was killed. She was 7. He was 4. She grew up a lot faster that day. She saw it happen.

Alex woke up to the strange energy coming from Sam's room. She had always been a sensitive person. at least that's what her mom said. She was gifted and very intuitive to her surroundings. She was scared. It felt really bad. She opened the door. She saw it. It was a man. But not a man. She saw the dark energy around him.

"Get away from my baby brother you creep!" she said

It's eyes flashed yellow. "Well now aren't you an interesting one." he cooed
"Hello Alexandria."

"Who are you?"

"Oh don't worry. You'll find out all in due time."

Light began radiating from Alex. The thing looked visibly interested, but unafraid.
"Just what are you hmm?"

Mary came running into the room. "You! Leave my children alone!"

"Hello Mary. Interesting daughter you have there. Maybe I'll come for her next!" he said

"That wasn't part of the deal!"

"I'm altering it." He flung her to the side

"Mommy!" Alex cried

"Alex. Take your brother and run!"

Alex was too afraid to move.

"Alex baby. Don't listen to him. You are protected by God. Don't be afraid."

Mary cried out as the demon flung her to the ceiling.

He looked at Alex. "I'll come for you again." He disappeared

John came running in, "Mary!" She was on the ceiling and the ceiling caught on fire.
Dean came running in. "Alex! Alex what's wrong!"

"Dean! Take your sister and brother and leave! Now!"

Alex regained her movement and left with Sam and Dean.

They watched as their house burnt down with their mother. And they found themselves in a world of the supernatural.

and only Alex knew what killed their mother.

Alex woke up. She closed her eyes. Every time she dreamt, she could see that demon. The one with yellow eyes.

She had intense therapy sessions after words by their school. John took notes about her nightmares and came to the realization, their mother's death wasn't normal. They soon learned monsters were real. And became hunters. Alex was very good at it. She could sense them. John used that to their advantage. They met a man named Pastor Jim and he said she was protected by a divine holy being. She had nothing to be afraid of. That didn't give her comfort at all.

She had nightmares a lot and almost never slept.

"Alex. Dad's putting you in charge again." Said Sam

She made a face.

She hated their father. no one knew of course. But she hated how he left her with all this responsibility, the weight of the world on her shoulders. How they couldn't have a normal life. She grew up faster than she had to. But then again she always did have an old soul. At least that's what the psychics said.

"Did you finish your homework like you were supposed to?" she asked Sam. He was in high school

"Duh."

"Good. I don't want another phone call from your teachers you're late again."

She's pretty much raised Sam. She was very protective of him. he was sensitive like her, and smart.

Sam made a face. "That was once!"

She smirked. "I know." She handed him five dollars. "For lunch. Now go to school with your brother."

"How come you don't have to go?" He whined

"Because I'm a genius." She said, flipping her long blonde hair.

She looked like their mother. However. She had blue eyes which is odd because nobody in the family had blue eyes.

They say it's a genetic mutation. Her eyes were unnaturally blue though.

Alex quit going to school. It was stupid and boring to her. she didn't lie when she said she was a genius. When she was seeing psychologists they tested her IQ and scored higher than normal.

She figured school was a waste of time, John agreed so she dropped out. She took the GED and passed with flying colors.

She watched Sammy leave with Dean. She turned back to her books. She was studying witchcraft. She was very good at it. Their father of course didn't approve. But her magic came in handy on a few cases.

Their father came back and more arguments between him and Sam. Sam wanted to go to college. Alex agreed with Sam.

But they always fought, and she hated it. She hated the fighting.

"Enough!" she shouted. Her intense energy gave off in the room, everyone looking at her. Dean was in the middle between Sam and their father.

"If he wants to live a normal life let him! what's so bad about that?" Alex said

"Alex. He has an obligation to this family. Just like you do."

"And what obligation is that?" Alex said. Her crystal blue eyes were now dark

"You damn know well what. You were there."

Alex glared at their father. "I saw mom die. I saw what killed her. now you're on some obsessed path to find what killed her?"

"Alexandria-" Their father warned. She had a bad temper, and even worse mouth. It's not her violent temper you have to worry about. It's what she says. Her words cut deep and are harsh.

"And prey tell. What good is all of this?" She said

"Alex!" Dean said harshly

"Its true Dean!"

"What good is treating your kids like freaking soldiers! Mom isn't going to come back!" She got a punch from John. It echoed. Dean and Sam looked at each other. John blinked he looked startled and regretted that moment.

Alex met him with a intense look in her eyes that sent a shiver down his spine. Her cheek was now bruised, and had a good cut from the hit.

"Alex-" He stammered

"And-mom would be pretty god damn disappointed in you right now." She hissed at him, she grabbed her bag.

John's jaw clenched.

"I'm not coming back." "I'm done. Figure this whole thing out yourself." She slammed the door. Hard.

Dean cursed and tried to go after her. "Leave her be Dean." John said. He went to get a drink

"But Dad-"

Their father gave him a 'not arguing look.'

"Yes sir." He mumbled

Sam was upset she left. He and John fought pretty bad after that. Dean was sick of it. It was like his family was falling apart.
