Chapter 1

(From Dust to Dawn dust shop)

A dapper man walked into the shop with a group of thugs. He was dressed in an all-white suit, a black bowler hat, had orangish-colored hair, and blue eyes. He was carrying a cane, the thugs were in suits and were armed with guns or red katanas. "Do you know how hard it is to find an open dust shop at this hour?" Said the dapper man.

The old owner was scared and had his hands up. "Please, just take the lein and go." He said, but the man, who was smoking on a cigar, just shook his head.

"No, old man. It's not the cash we want but the dust crystals." One of the thugs had seen a young woman in a red hooded cloak, reading a weapon's magazine.

He tapped her on the shoulder and she looked at him with silver eyes. She lowered her hood and took off her headphones. "Hands where I can see them, kid!" He said, she looked confused.

"Are you robbing me?" She said, but before anyone could answer, they heard maniacal laughter.

"What the…?" Said the dapper man. Just then, someone came walking in, he was carrying a bunch of balloons. The person had on a purple trenchcoat, purple slacks, was pale-skinned, buffed, and had 'HA HA!' carved across his abs.

"What are you?" Said one of them, "some kind of clown?" The man laughed again and pulled a card from his sleeve.

"My card," he said. The card was a joker in a standard deck of playing cards. He threw it and hit the man's gun hand, then the 'Joker' had pulled out a revolver with a long barrel and started to fire. As he was, he released the balloons revealing his face. He had green stringy hair, dark eyes, dark eyeshadow, and a scarred red smile. One of the thugs tried to attack him but 'Joker' smacked him with his cane. By 'cane' I mean, a crowbar shaped like a jester's cane. Another one tried his luck, came up to him but, 'Joker' grabbed him and pulled his face to his flower. "Here, smell my flower." He squirted the thug with knockout gas. Then he took out the other thugs, kneed one in the face, another got a whiff of knock out gas, a third was shock by a hand buzzer, another got hit in the face with a pie in a present, another was tripped into one of the racks, and the last one was knocked out by his cane. All the while, 'Joker' was laughing, looking at the dapper man who sighed.

"Worth every cent," he said sarcastically.

"Well, Roman ol' boy," Joker said. "Why don't you just leave the kid and the old man alone and leave with what little dignity you have left!" The girl appeared behind him, then Roman tossed a fire dust crystal at them and fired on it, but Joker had shattered it before the bullet hit it with his 'BANG' flag.

"He's Getting Away!" She said.

"I can see that 'Red' ." He said and went after him. The girl stopped to check on the owner.

"Will you be alright?" She asked.

"I'll be fine," he said. "Go get him!" So she followed Joker and headed for the rooftops.

(Rooftops)

Joker caught up with Roman, "End of the line Roman!" He said.

"Yes," said Roman. "For you!" He fired on Joker, but Joker had a gun as well and they were having a shoot-out. Then he pulled out a set of chattering teeth and tossed them at Roman. They 'bit' his gun hand leaving marks. Then Joker had started to toss razor-sharp playing cards at him and they started to cut Roman. Roman saw a bullhead and went for it. He leaped in it as playing cards hit the gas tank cutting holes in it. Just then the girl showed up and started to fire on the bullhead. When it turned and started to fire on them, but there was a glow in front of them and the bullets bounced off of it, and behind them was a blonde huntress, in a keyholed blouse, black skirt, stockings, pumps, and a cape. She had green eyes behind glasses and was welding a riding crop.

The bullhead got away, and the girl looked at her. "Oh wow," she said. "You're a huntress! Can I have your autograph?" The huntress was in shock, so much so, she missed Joker leaving.

"Where did he go?" She said.

(Vale sewers)

Joker was walking through the sewers getting away. 'Well,' He thought, 'not a bad debut. I wonder who else I should use?' He came upon where his hideout was.

(Hideout)

Joker went into the bathroom to take off the mask, his body went back to normal. He got undressed and took a shower. He was a handsome young man, with blonde hair and blue eyes. His name was Jaune Arc, he wasn't accepted into the hunter's academy but, he had met someone that gave him a better shot at being a hero. He was thinking about how he met the man.

(With the huntress and the girl)

The huntress, whose name was Glynda Goodwitch, was the deputy headmaster of Beacon, she was talking to the girl, whose name was Ruby Rose. She had found out from her about the guy that helped her, she only knew his name, and even that was a guess. "He said his name was the 'Joker'." She said, then the headmaster of the academy had shown up. He had short white hair, green eyes, dark sunglasses, and dressed in shades of green and black. He was also carrying a cane, he had invited Ruby to Beacon and the 'Red Reaper', so duly nicknamed because she wields a scythe that can change into a sniper rifle, accepted.

Goodwitch didn't think it was a good idea, but she knew that once he has his mind on something, it's going to happen. She walked into his office.

(Headmaster's office)

She walked into the office and saw the headmaster. "We still haven't found this 'Joker' sir." She said.

"I see," he said. "And he left no fingerprints."

"No sir," she said.

"We need to find this 'Joker', anyone who can do all this, I want to talk to."

A/N: Wow, this came out because I had read a story called, the 'Arc of Many Faces' by PrimusPilus. And before any of you ask, NO Oscar Pine!

Also, to imagine Jaune as Joker, it's Heath Ledger's head, on Jared Leto's body with Mark Hamill's voice.
