Hey guys. I can see y'all want more of "Ice Devil's Angel," which makes me happy to hear. However, to get back into the groove of things, I've been given a golden opportunity by none other than the famous GraLu author, LadySVI, to take on her story "Bride of the Ice God," which originally belongs to the author writer4everr.
The reason Lady-san abandoned it was because her idea of where it should've gone didn't match with the plot of what writer4everr had and decided to pass it on to me to publish. So, that's what I'll be doing for the next couple of months for you guys while I try to re-establish my ideas and outline with "Ice Devil's Angel."
Anyway! Hope everyone is doing well!
Disclaimer: I do not own Fairy Tail or any of its character. I do not own this plot. This plot belongs to writer4everr.

Gray - Flashback
Silver pulled Gray to a secluded corner of the Emerald Ballroom. How he got into the party, he wasn't sure, but he is the God of Winter after all. Not such a person to be underestimated, but if his mother caught him here... Gray didn't even want to think about it.
"You need to send her home." His father gazed at him with an unreadable look. "After my stunt, they're not so quick to forgive a high-class family associating with mortals. You know better than this," he said the last part quietly.
Fury flared within the Ice God. "Shut up," he snarled softly, so as not to cause a scene. "You have no right to lecture me! I bear all your sins. You weren't even bonded to the damn woman." He glared. "I don't want you near, Lucy, got it old man."
Silver leaned back, amused. "Don't tell me you're actually starting to like her."
Gray frowned. "I don't see why you would care of why it would be any of your business."
Silver gave a lazy shrug. "I tried to help, Gray. Sooner or later you will realize that having a mortal around here isn't just bad for you but for her as well. If you really care for her, then you'll send her back." He lowered his voice. "Mortals don't belong here."
Gray wanted to argue that Lucy could be turned, but he bit his tongue as guilt washed over him, remembered Lucy's face when she spoke of her parents. It was a look of worry and loneliness.
"She doesn't want to turn immortal, does she?" Silver observed his silence. "Well, the only way to preserve the family name and her life is to send her back. Listen to me, Gray, because this is for the best."
The Ice God shook his head. "What do you know about what's best?" He chuckled bitterly. "All you've known how to do is screw up Mom and I's damn life and look how that turned-" He hissed at the searing pain emanating from his chest. "Shit," he muttered, feeling his bonded mark grow hotter and burn through his clothes. He could clearly see the crescent moon glowing hot red, as if the moon had been submerged in molten lava.
His blood ran cold. The red moon was a signal that her life force was being disrupted by an external threat. How the hell had that girl managed to get in trouble at a banquet? Dammit! He turned away from Silver, glaring over his shoulder, "I'll deal with you later."
Lucy - Present
Lucy's eyes blinked open as she tried to readjust to the bright lights shining through the windows. Wait, what the hell? When had I gone bed? Lucy thought. She sat up, looking around confused and saw that she was back in Gray's room. Gray was lying down, next to her, looking down at her with an expression of amusement, contempt, and exasperation.
She let out a loud groan when her head started pounding. "Ugh, I feel like somebody ran over me. What happened?" She collapsed back on the bed, trying to remember what happened.
"You fainted after I asked you to explain how you were literally glowing," Gray reminded her dryly. "I thought you were faking so you wouldn't have to answer my question. So then I spend a few minuted shaking you awake, but you weren't responding." He chuckled. "I just carried you to our room and left you here and went back to the banquet to let them know you didn't feel well."
Lucy blinked once more. "Oh." The memories were rushing back in her sleepy haze. "I fainted?" She repeated in disbelief.
"Yup," Gray replied. "Your body can't handle large amounts of magic, so you fatigued easily. After your defensive move against Zancrow, I was surprised you didn't faint earlier." He reached over to flick her forehead. "You need to be more careful. If you end up using too much magic, it'll kill you."
Lucy looked down at her hands, remembering the ghastly purple flames that tried burning her. She shivered, his cackling laughter echoing in her mind.
"When did you find out you could use such magic?" Gray asked, his gaze focused intently on her.
"It happened a few days ago, when that Shifter attacked me," Lucy explained, brows furrowed. "I was desperate and a mermaid appeared and defended me. I thought you summoned it, but you said it wasn't your doing. I just started practicing whenever I was left alone." She paused to study the Ice God's expression. "You're not mad at me, are you? I mean, it's not like I could control it."
He just sighed. "Why are you so weird? How can you be immune to poisons and herbs, as well as develop magic?" He furrowed his brows at her. "It's like you were meant to be a goddess," he murmured quietly.
Lucy's eyes widened, but it occurred to her that she didn't really mind what he said. Maybe what had happened to her was a blessing in disguise. Perhaps this was what her life was supposed to be from now on. "Do you really think that?" She whispered quietly.
Gray shook his head. "You're not going to be an immortal," he stated firmly. "It's too risky and you miss home. I'm not going to subject you to any turning process."
An ache rose in her chest when he said home. Home. What was that to her? This place felt like home too. However, she couldn't help but worry about her parents, especially her mother because she had gotten ill before she was sacrificed.
Gray put a hand on her shoulder, a slight smile on his face. He misinterpreted her pause. "It'll be all right."
"Yeah," Lucy responded distractedly, remembered something else but also wanted to change the subject. "So, what...exactly is an Anti-God?"
Gray ran a hand through his raven locks. "They're ancient evil beings opposite of what a god is supposed to be. They were created from Chaos the same time the first gods were created from Order."
"So, it's all about balance?"
"Precisely."
"Is that why Natsu is the only one who can kill Zancrow?"
"Zancrow is also the only one who can kill Natsu as well."
Lucy's became confused. "Then why did he retreat if they have the same power level?"
Gray smirked. "Because the last time they fought, Natsu won by eating his flames."
"Wow," Lucy remarked. "Have you encountered your arch nemesis?"
He rose a brow with a chuckle. "Arch nemesis? No, can't say I have. I know Laxus and Wendy have, but Anti-Gods usually keep a low-profile and have their own agenda."
"Then why was Zancrow here?"
"To challenge Natsu again, most likely."
Lucy felt a sense of relief. "So we won't be seeing him or any other Anti-Gods any time soon?"
"No, we will not," Erza's voice said.
Lucy flinched, letting out a startled yelp. She swiveled around to face Erza with a glare, which she retorted with a challenging smile.
"Erza, you need to stop appearing out of nowhere!" She turned to Gray. "Isn't there a damn lock on our door?"
Gray narrowed his eyes and flicked his wrist, an ice snake whipping out of his sleeve and fangs aimed at Erza. The Goddess of War's hand shot out and caught it by it's throat, the snake immediately dissolving in her hand. "Please, Gray," she scoffed. "I only came to talk."
"Mm," he rolled his eyes. "By the way, thanks for telling me about Lucy's newfound powers," he commented sarcastically.
Erza shrugged. "She said not to tell anybody, and I gave my word. I cannot retract my promise. Anyways, I'm surprised you didn't find out sooner. She was being so obvious about it. Who practices in a public bathroom?" She shook her head at Lucy.
The blonde ignored her and swung her legs on the other side of the bed and hopped up. "So, what are you here for anyways?"
Erza gave a small mischievous smile. "Why I'm tuning in for the eleventh episode of Bride of the Ice God. I swear you two are just so fun to watch, almost like a soap opera."
Lucy threw a pillow at her, but it bounced off a shield that had suddenly materialized.
"Try again, I dare you" she challenged. "Ask Gray or Natsu, you don't want to get in a pillow fight with me." Her owl hooted in agreement.
Lucy looked at Gray, and he almost seemed to pale. He shook his head at her and mouthed, She will end you. The blonde gulped and thought twice about throwing the pillow again.
Gray stood, readjusting his kimono. "Well, Erza..."
The War Goddess chuckled. "No worries, I'll take my leave then." The door closed behind her.
"No wonder you're so twisted Gray - you had Erza as your childhood friend," Lucy commented with a grin as she moved to the closet to change. "She is a fun drunk though."
The blonde rummaged through her side of the closet and pulled a kimono that didn't look too flashy. It was a light pastel pink with an ivory obi. The kimono laced up in the back with a criss-cross pattern. She pulled her night robe off and stepped into the fresher kimono daintily. Slipping her arms through the sleeves, Lucy realized how tight it was and that she wouldn't be able to reach behind her to tie the back.
"Shit," she muttered and attempted to reach back but felt her fingers being swatted away. Lucy tensed as she felt finders brushing against the small of her back while Gray was tying the ribbons. Realizing this, she felt her cheeks heat up a bit. To break the awkward silence...
"Wait, so who changed me last night?"
Gray chuckled as he tied the last ribbon. "Lisanna took care of you."
She turned to face him and planted her hands on her hips. "How do I look? Presentable? Be honest." Lucy put on her serious face and waited for his response.
He smirked. "The dress is pretty. You? Eh, you're all right."
Lucy pouted. "Hey! Totally uncalled for!"
Gray leaned in closer so that our noses were practically touching. "I'm just teasing. By the way, come back around noon. We're going somewhere," he spoke easily with a sly smile on his face.
She frowned curiously. "Where are we going?"
"It's a surprise. You trust me, right?" His voice lowered huskily. Lucy closed her eyes and when she reopened them, Gray was leaning back with a bigger smirk on his face. Oh, that little- He was playing with her! "Don't be late."
That damn jerk. He had done it again. Why was he such a tease? Lucy scowled at him. "You make it hard for me to trust you! Your whole dark and mysterious act is more mind-boggling than a turn-on," she grumbled through clenched teeth.
"So you say, but your mind says differently. Remember our minds are interconnected." He lowered his kimono and revealed the crescent moon standing out on his pale chest.
Lucy rolled her eyes. She didn't want to deal with him anymore - she was starving. Some bread and jam... "Right, well then, maybe you know that I'm starving, and I'm going to eat breakfast," she retorted sarcastically. As if he really knew what was going on in her head...
"You're craving bread and jam," he replied with a smirk.
Lucy's mouth dropped open. "Get out of my head!" She demanded, walking out and heading down the hallway. Maybe if she could get far enough away he wouldn't be able to tell that she was insanely atttracted to him and his trademark smirk.
The blonde stopped, hearing a quiet noise and turned around, straining her ears. The noise came again. It was like a soft little cry. She approached the noise. "Is anybody there?" she called out.
Lucy walked closer and saw that the noise was coming from a small alcove in the hallway. She approached silently once more and saw that it was Lisanna curled up in small ball trying to hold back her tears but miserably failing. Her face was red and blotching, and her eyes were stolen, as if she had been crying for quite some time now.
"Lisanna?" Lucy whispered. She had never seen her like this. The handmaiden was usually pretty perky with a small smile upon her face.
Lisanna didn't look up. "I'm fine. Y-you can just go to breakfast." Her voice cracked and another tear slipped down her cheek. "I'll b-be right there. I just-" The tears were coming down harder, a whole torrent of salty tears dripping down her doll-like face.
Lucy knelt down in concern. "Lisanna, what's wrong?"
She just continued to sob, clamping a hand over her mouth, trying to stop the loud cries. "I-I'm just so sorry for making you so concerned a-about this, b-but I just n-need to someone to talk to."
Lucy smooth Lisanna's hair back with a gentle smile. "Shhh, Lisanna, it'll be okay. You can talk to me." She smiled reassuringly.
Lisanna shook her head. "It's an ancient rule. We should have been more careful. I don't know what I thinking to let this happen. I should have remembered my place. I'm just a handmaiden... If word gets out..." She stopped and paled at the thought.
Lucy tried to cheer her up, still a bit confused at the situation. "Lisanna, it's not the end of the world. Whatever you did, I'm sure you didn't do it out of-"
"Y-You don't understand. Lord Natsu will be ruined. This isn't allowed - we broke the rules, and the consequences will be great." She shuddered with wracked sobs.
Lucy's eyes grew wide. "Lisanna, you're scaring me. What's wrong?" she asked softly.
"We're both ruined," she moaned mournfully, trying to brush away her tears once more. "I couldn't tell Lord Natsu. I just didn't want to see the disappointment." She hiccupped and breathed hard. "Lucy, I trust you," she finally whispered.
Lucy reached out and grabbed hold of Lisanna's hands and gave them a gentle squeeze. "I'll do my best to help you," she promised.
Lisanna let go of Lucy's hand and let it drop to rest on her stomach. With her other hand, she gripped Lucy's tighter. Her wide blue eyes looked at the blonde. She swallowed hard and then spoke in a hoarse voice, "I'm with child."
Oh shyyeee!
Hope this brings back some hope to some fans who thought this was gone forever. Sorry if it wasn't as good as Lady-san's own personal style to it, but I'll just get this out for you guys.
Have a nice day :)
