Carcol island
The number one vacation spot for tourists and wizards alike. Famous for its hot springs and signature starfruit mangos. After learning about the Alvarez Empire, the small group of Natsu, Lucy, Vyra, Gray, Erza, Wendy, Happy and Carla were sent to the island to investigate.
"You really think this is going to work?" Lucy mumbled, whispering to the redhead next to her in line
Soldiers were guarding the entrance.
"THIS IS A RESTRICTED ZONE!"
"EVERYONE FORM A LINE AND BE PREPARED TO SHOW IDENTIFICATION-"
"Natsu- " Erza turned back for reassurance
If anyone were to ruin their spy mission, it would be the fire dragon of course.
"Promise me you will behave-"
"Don'tcha worry Erza, I got him on a tight leash-" Vyra squeezed in, looping her arm around the dragon slayer's.
"NEXT-"
Here we go...
"We're a couple of sightseeing girls on a vaycay!" Lucy overly boasted
"We'd love to sample some of Carcol's famous Star Mangoes~" Erza crossed her arms to enhance her breast size
With how small their bikini tops were, Lucy and Erza sure were taking a risk.
Vyra on the other hand couldn't exactly wear a swimsuit like the rest... given that she had two guild marks placed on her body, unwilling to cover it up with transformation magic. Also, if there were too many of them from the same guild it would look suspicious.
Due to this, herself and Natsu were given a different storyline not related to the 'Cait Shelter' guild...
"Now remember what I said and just stick to the plan-" The bluenette whispered into the salamanders ear as he nodded with embarrassed pink cheeks
"NEXT-"
"Oh, sweetheart look!" She pulled Natsu closer as they walked forward ignoring the guards, wearing matching dark blue and orange tropical outfits.
"The sparkles glisten above the water! Isn't it beautiful?"
Vyra, a long off the shoulders dress (That covered her guild mark) and Natsu a shirt that he naturally left unbuttoned with his scarf wrapped around his head like a bandana.
"Hold it you two-"
"What is it man?" Vyra batted her long lashes causing the man to sweat drop
"We came to Carcol island for our honeymoon!"
"Don't you want to congratulate us? We just got married after all!" She puffed out her cheeks
"Yeah man, what's the big idea?" Natsu shot back, giving the soldier a little jab to make him feel guilty for ruining their 'romantic vacation'.
You could figuratively see light pink hearts floating over the cotton candy couples heads.
All for show of course.
"U-Uhhh- Y-Yeah... congrats-" The guard blushed in embarrassment assuring them to move along with a forward hand motion.
"We're just so excited to see the hot springs!"
"Isn't that right hon-NEY?" The bluenette jabbed the dragon slayer in the ribs causing him to jump
"A-Aye!"
"Aye?"
'Natsu, I swear I'll kill you-' Vyra internally cursed
"Move right along-" The soldier ushered them along, until a stern booming voice caused the duo to halt. Shivers ran through the cotton candy's shoulders, terrifying them to the core.
An older man, easily seven feet tall crossed their path with a harsh stare. Natsu and Vyra huddled closer feeling the intimidations from the soldier
"What the heck?' Natsu thought as Vyra shifted
'What a creep!'
"Where-" He began
"Are..."
...
"the rings?"
Natsu, Vyra and the rest of their Fairy Tail crew point blankly stared. They were dumbfounded. This man,seemingly in his late 50's, was curious as to why herself and Natsu don't have engagement rings.
Uhhhhh-
Shouldn't a man mind his own business?
But maybe...
He's a hopeless romantic?
"R-Rings?!"
Natsu utterly stuttered like an idiot. Quickly, Vyra slapped a hand over the dragon slayer's mouth.
The last thing they need right now was for Natsu to say something stupid causing their covers to be blown.
"Pardon me sir-" Vyra charged up to the man flaring her cheeks
"But how rude of you to insist that a man and a woman need wedding rings to validate their marriage!" She shouted not afraid to make a scene causing everyone's eyes to widen
But who knew that Vyra was the one to almost do that instead.
"Love is the only thing a lady needs to be married to the one she loves~" She monologued with fake tears threatening to spill dramatically
"Man... Vyra is r-really into character..." Wendy shuttered
"And to q-question my relationship-" She looked over to Natsu, who at the moment believed he was a ninja posing with Happy
"w-with m-my f-fiancé!" She pointed shakily in embarrassment
Because well-
He is Natsu after all.
"Hey Vy, you can cool it just a little-" The dragon slayer then grabbed her wrist
"Cool it?" She snapped
"T-This foolish goon is making fun of us because we are young and in love!"
"I-I d-do a-apologize m-ma'am!" The older soldier stubbled rightfully bowing
"Okay... she's definitely getting out of hand-" Wendy sweat dropped
"The least we can do is watch what happens, this is quite entertaining-" Carla chuckled watching the trio of Natsu, Vyra and the soldier
"P-Please move r-right a-along-" He guiltily reassured causing Vyra to sway her hips past
"Hmph!"
Mission Success.
20 minutes later
Wendy took Happy and Carla with her in the sky so that they could search from the air. As the rest of the members continued on foot.
"Vyra..."
"Hey-"
"you didn't have to be that extreme with the guy-"
"I didn't?" She paused catching the rest of the groups attention
Wait-a set off the girl again this time Gray...
"Really?" She snapped continuing her strut forward not giving the ice mage even a glance
"That's rich coming from you-"
Her response made the ice mages eyes even more dull than they already were. His shoulders slouched, eyes locked onto the sandy road as he bit the inside of his cheek.
Okay... he was trying.
To at least talk to her... but any word the raven haired boy spoke, Vyra dismissed him off.
And not only that, Lucy Erza, and the peanut gallery were all there to witness it. Although Wendy and the exceeds were absent. They took to the sky, possibly being able to find any clues from there.
By peanut gallery did he just mean Natsu?
Yes. Yeah he did.
She was mad.
The ice mage knew that.
But for how long was she going to put up her defense? How long was Vyra going to hate him? He couldn't take it anymore.
As much as she was hurting...
He was too. But the bluenette in the moment was too clouded by rage to notice anyone else's feelings.
She does have a right to feel how she does. Understandably, it makes sense.
But that doesn't mean-
"Hey look!"
"Mango delights!" Natsu pointed causing the redheads eyes to glisten
"Star mangos star mangos~" Erza skipped to the stand
Once sitting down, the Fairy Tail guild began stuffing their faces.
"Wow, look at you guys, you're going to sell out my whole place! Thank you so much!" The owner bowed respectfully
"You must know a lot about running a shop huh?" Gray began
"I'm never going to let go of my dream! Saving up, and then Ishgar here I come!"
"Thanks so cool!" Lucy walked over
"You guys are from there, aren'tcha?"
"We are-" Vyra responded swirling her gelato
"Mark my words, Star Mangos are going to be a real hit in Ishgar-"
And just then, The whole shop got crushed. Smoke fogged up the area, striking fear in everyone.
"WHAT THE-" Lucy screamed
"It blew up!" Gray watched in aw
"But why?!" Vyra shouted

"Ha! You are an A+!"
Clapping was heard as a new voice introduced itself.
"Who are you?!" Erza raged
Note, never get between Erza and her food.
"WHAT DO YOU WANT?!"
"Yeah! That fire in your eye! A++!"
"Okay... this guys wack-" Vyra put up a had whispering into Lucy's ear as she nodded along
"Agreed."
"My name is Marin Hollow-" The man bowed introducing himself
"A member of the Alvarez Army Brandish Division-"
Eyes widening, the Fairy Tail group switched into combat mode instantly.
"M-My S-Star M-Mangos..."
"A-All m-my h-hopes...and d-dreams..." The store owner broke down
Vyra walking forward, placing a bag of Jewel next to him she shielded the man next to Gray
"Take the bag and run-" She proclaimed not taking an eye off the enemy
"Sorry man, I know it's not much but it should help a little-" The ice mage spoke as Erza went on to try and requip. But that was the thing. She couldn't.
"Come on Erza!"
"I-"
"I c-can't requip-" She shook staring at her hands, causing tensions to rise ultimately
"No... you can't~ Because I am the master of space!"
"What the hell does that mean-" The bluenette point blankly stated as Marin starred her down
"By requiping, you're grabbing something from a different pocket of space-"
"To bad, because all space magic is completely ineffective against me~"
"Shit-" Vyra tsked
Continuing, Lucy tried to use one of her spirits... but that didn't work either.
'If Lucy and Erza can't even use their magic, what makes me think I can use mine?' The blunette bit her lip
When she transforms into her moonlight or sunlight form, that's technically grabbing something in a pocket of space right?
The fundamentals of it confused the girl, so she just continued to observe.
"Oh! There's one tiny detail I should mention~" Marin creepily smiled
"Anyone who happens to break the law of space in my presence..." Bubbles began to cascade around the blonde and redhead
"W-Wait! What's going on!?"
"This is scary!"
"Don't worry ladies! I'm sending you to my chill out space!"
Natsu, Vyra and Gray all took a running start toward the man but all at the exact time they halted like an invisible barrier was present.
"YOU BETTER TELL ME WHAT YOU DID WITH THEM RIGHT NOW!" The dragon slayer raged
"Hey hey hey! It's like I said, they're in my chill out spot~" Marin responded before changing his attention to the Moonlight Mage
"Although I wish you were there too-" He eyed the bluenette head to toe
"I bet you would be really fun to play with~" He narrowed his eyes in a taunting manner.
Was Vyra throwing up in her mouth?
Yes. Yes she was.
"Your really striking a nerve in the wrong guys buddy-"
Natsu and Gray both put up a protective arm in front of the bluenette who was slightly behind, in-between them.
"He's with you scum bags right?"
Snapping his fingers, an injured man dropped to the ground
"M-Mest!" Vyra reached out
"This piece of crap also tried to use space magic around me!" Marin kicked Mest in the ribs causing Natsu and Gray to finally crack charging forward towards the man
Although Marin was only walking around in circles, seemingly toying with them.
'We are in deep trouble-' Gray snarled
...
"That's enough play time Marin-"
A woman then appeared, leaving Natsu, Vyra and Gray in astonishment. She had an insane amount of magical power. Just the pressure of her presence alone, froze them to the core.
"B-Brandish my lady! Oh, you are an A+++!" Marin stuttered screeching the back of his head
"I'd appreciate it if you stopped with the boot licking-" She narrowed her eyes
'W-Who is t-this chick?' Vyra sweat dropped
Noticing Natsu struggling caught Vyra and Gray's attention instantly. The dragon slayer's arm was throbbing as he seemingly tried to hold it down with his other one.
...
"I have a craving for some Star Mango Gelato-"
Sweat dropping, her tone and attitude was very unexpected that's for sure. But all the Fairy Tail trio could do was watch. If they made one wrong move, something seriously bad could happen... and at this moment they didn't want to take a risk knowing that they have Lucy and Erza.
"THE SHOP IS TOTALLY LIKE IN PIECES! WHO COULD HAVE DONE SUCH A T-THINGGGG!"
'She whacked up too-' Vyra thought
"Ha! It was those three right over there!" Marin pointed falsely accusing the Fairy Tail wizards
"That's a lie!"
"The whole thing was your fault!"
"It only happened because these clowns picked a fight with our soldiers!" Marin blamed them pointing
"And I think the only reason they're here is to contact the spy-" He reasoned as she continued to cry
"I-I don't careeeee-"
"Now go on and give them back their A+ girls okay?" She batted her long lashes
"Whaaa whatttttt?! B-But l-lady Brandish~"
Realizing his retaliation, it didn't sit well with the woman. Lightly stomping her foot, the rest of the island began to shake.
"Woahhhh!" Vyra lost her balance falling on the ground
"What's happening!?" Gray looked around
"An earthquake?!" Natsu spazzed
After the encounter with Brandish and Marin, the Fairy Tail member retreated, rescuing Lucy Erza and Mest. The woman surprisingly let them go and the Tenro team didn't hesitate one bit. Her magic power... they weren't prepared...
And neither were the rest of the people living on the island. Due to the island's change of nature from Brandish's magic, all civilians fell into the ocean.
"Make sure every citizen is accounted for!" Erza pointed taking charge of the situation
"It looks like we'll actually get everybody on the boat-" Vyra leaned against the railing letting the sun's rays hit her directly as the sea breeze swished through her hair
"Heh yeah, if those fisherman were around this could've been a lot worse-" Gray cracked a joke as he watched the island people swim towards the large boat
Natsu and Wendy were throwing up in the corner, Lucy was taking care of Mest...
And Vyra...
Was apparently having a conversation with Gray.
He felt awkward, she felt uncomfortable...
Yeah this was going great!
"Vyra..." He turn to face her, but she was flat out ignoring him which caused his blood to boil
"Hey Vy-"
"..."
"I screwed up, is that what you want me to say?!" He slammed his fist through the rotting wood causing the bluenette to flinch at his sudden outburst
"Avatar..." He softened
"Had information on the book of END... the book that my father was so adamant about me protecting-"
"If I dragged you along with me, then what?" He went on
"Fairy Tail's 'It' couple dropping from the guild to join one of Fiore's most notorious dark guilds?" He walked forward with a bit of attitude
"There's no way Avatar members would trust us together-"
"They barley trusted me as is-"
"So you sacrificed our relationship for this stupid book?" She quickly retorted
Gray clenched his fist biting the inside of his cheek speechless. The silence did give Vyra the answer to her question even though he couldn't spit it out.
"It was my fathers-"
"last request..."
"But I couldn't drag you into this dark mess with me-"
"So the best way for me was to-"
"Cut me out of your life." She eyed him coldly as he keep his gaze on the ground
...
"I'm sorry."
Letting out a deep sigh, Vyra let her shoulders slouch as a headache was beginning to form. She was exhausted. Tired of the grudge she has been holding towards the ice mage. She couldn't keep it up anymore.
"Gray, listen-"
"Arguing with you has been a grueling task as of late. Don't get me wrong you're still not out of the woods yet-" Her eyes flicker towards his
"I'm just... I'm tired of being mad at you. How about we put this behind us and move forward yeah?"
Surprised by her response, Gray lifted his head, eyes widened. Vyra keep it straight and to the point.
That was a little too easy.
"Finding the Master is what we need to focus on-"
"The least I can do is tolerate you right now, but you're still going to have to work your way up in the friendship department though" She let out a half witted smile
Though he failed to realize how white her knuckles were, clenched under her crossed arms.
She was covering up her pain... as she did time and time again.
'Bringing Silver into the mix... so he's playing that card huh?'
A loud groan snapped Vyra out of her thoughts almost instantly as she turned her body to face the two sickly dragon slayers sulking in the corner.
In all honesty it was almost laughable watching the pho siblings. She knew they were hurting, but Natsu and Wendy were definitely a comical duo at the moment.
Turning her attention to the sick moaning dragon slayers in the
"P-Poor M-Mest-" Wendy turned green causing Vyra to crack a smile
Oh cute little Wendy. Caring more about others then herself being~
"I-I c-can't use m-my healing m-magic r-right n-nowwwww-"
"H-Hey V-Vyraa?" She turned to the bluenette who then kneeled down towards the girl
"C-Can you heal M-Mest?"
Okay, she was more than cute. She was adorable.
"I'm sorry Wendy, but with my magic I'm only able to heal myself..." She let out a small sigh averting her eyes towards the wooden floorboards deciding whether or not she should continue the sentence knowing Gray was right behind her
"As well as others that have the same element as me-"
And believe it or not, on cue the ice mage rolled his eyes before walking the other way towards Erza and Lucy.
The Moonlight mage turned to call out to the raven haired boy, but he vanished before her very eyes.
"Gray!" She whispered under her breath before standing on her feet now in full alert
Next to disappear was Wendy and Carla-
Then Natsu and Happy.
Panic startled to settle in her chest as each one of her guild mates vanished into thin air. The bluenette's body soon went numb as a white light filled her eyes.

Moments later, who knew they would end up in the bottom of the ocean.
