Ben's Apartment
Ben had just gotten home and was extremely exhausted after what had just happened today. There was a lot he needed to think about, especially about what he and the others were going to do tomorrow. The main priority was to find Kiba and make sure he didn't get himself killed alongside Xenovia and Irina. For now though, Ben needed to rest and recollect himself before going back out there tomorrow.
"I'm home" Ben said as he unlocked the door to his apartment walking inside, thinking he was talking to himself
"I'm glad to see you home" a voice said
Surprised by the voice Ben jumped backwards and got ready to activate the omnitrix. That was until he saw who the voice belonged to, in the kitchen cooking something was Akeno. The first thing Ben noticed about Akeno was that she was wearing an apron. Underneath that apron Akeno wasn't wearing any clothes, she was completely naked.
"Akeno what are you doing? Why aren't you wearing any clothes?" Ben asked Akeno covering his eyes so he wouldn't see her
"Seeing you embarrassed like that makes me giggle a just a bit" Akeno said with a smile
"You didn't answer my questions though" Ben said still covering his eyes
"Isn't it obvious, I'm cooking dinner for you, you had a long day and you deserve to relax" Akeno said with an innocent look on her face
"Okay but why are you naked?" Ben asked Akeno
"Because it is more comfortable for me to be naked, besides its not like there's anyone here and you've seen me naked before" Akeno answered with a teasing grin
"Yeah, not by choice though" Ben said
"I'm just about done with dinner, you go and take a shower then dinner will be done, who knows, I might even join you" Akeno said teasing Ben
"Please don't" Ben said as he began to walk to the bathroom
"I left a clean towel in there for you" Akeno said as she continued to cook
"When I get out please have some clothes on" Ben said as he entered the bathroom
"No promises" Akeno replied with a giggle
Ben let out a sigh as he closed the door behind him and got into the shower
Small Time Skip
Ben got out of the shower and put on some clean clothes that Akeno had left for him. In most cases Ben would be freaking out that there was a girl in his apartment and that she was making dinner for him. Akeno wasn't an ordinary girl by any means both with her personality and her being a devil. More and more Akeno had been staying over at Ben's apartment ever since Ben became friends with her and the other members of the Occult Research Club.
Ben would have kicked her out and told her to go home but knowing Akeno that wouldn't work so Ben stopped fighting it and let it just happen. As Ben got out of the bathroom he saw Akeno putting the dinner she made on plates. He also saw that Akeno had put on a bathing suit under her apron. While a two piece bikini wasn't say a shirt or pants it still covered her and that was all Ben cared about.
"Dinner is served" Akeno said as she placed Ben's dinner on the counter in front of him
"Smells good, what is it?" Ben asked Akeno
"It is kiritanpo with chankonabe and rice" Akeno answered showing Ben what she had made for him
"Thank you Akeno, I really appreciate this" Ben said thanking Akeno as he began to eat
"No need to thank me, I'm just happy to see you eat my cooking" Akeno said with a smile on her face
Ben dug into the food Akeno made for him and began to eat everything she had put in front of him. Akeno also ate but she ate slowly and watched as Ben enjoyed her cooking.
"Akeno, I got to ask something" Ben said as he sat his chopsticks down
"What is it Ben?" Akeno asked Ben
"Well you see, I kinda wanted to know why you're here?" Ben asked Akeno
"Do you not want me here?" Akeno asked Ben as a look of sadness formed on her face
"No, no, it's not that, I don't mind you being here, I just wanted to know how you got into my apartment when the door was locked" Ben answered trying to not have Akeno cry or be upset
"Didn't Rias tell you?" Akeno asked Ben
"Tell me what exactly?" Ben asked confused
Akeno took out a door key and sat it down in front of Ben, Ben looked at the key and saw that it was similar to his
"Why do you have a key to my apartment?" Ben asked Akeno, still not understanding what was going on
"I'm moving in" Akeno said excitedly
"You're moving in here?" Ben asked shocked and confused
"Yep, I asked Rias and she said it was okay" Akeno answered cheerfully
Ben was confused by what was going on, he wanted to know why no one told him this was happening
"Now I get to wake you up every morning and make us meals for the day, I'll also get to help you around the place and assist you with anything" Akeno said putting an emphasis on the anything part of what she said
"Oh great" Ben said in disbelief
"Hurry up and finish so we can get ready for bed, we've got a busy day tomorrow looking for Kiba and those two church agents" Akeno said to Ben eating a piece of rice that was on his face
"We sure do" Ben said still in disbelief
Time Skip
Kuoh Outskirts
Early the next day around the outskirts of Kuoh, a large orange creature was jumping around from building to building in search of something. The orange creature stopped and began to sniff around the air is it continued its search. This creature had canine like features with four legs two of them being gorilla like arms. The creature had sharp teeth as well as no eyes and gills on the sides of its neck. Around the neck of the creature was a large green collar. On the collar was what appeared to be the badge of the omnitrix.
This creature was actually Ben, he was transformed into his Vulpimancer form he called Wildmutt. Ben was using Wildmutt's superior tracking abilities to locate Kiba as well as Xenovia and Irina. After the battle with Freed and the one known as Valper escaped both Kiba and the two church agents chased after them. It was a new day and it was Ben's goal as well as the goal of everyone else to find them and make sure they were okay.
Ben landed down on the ground and let out a loud howling noise, alerting everyone that he had found something. Laying on the ground unconscious was Irina, she looked badly hurt and was missing her Excalibur fragment.
"Ben found something" Issei said as he ran past Ben
"Good job Ben" Asia said
"You did such a good job" Akeno said scratching Ben's had causing him to smile
"Is she okay?" Rias asked
"No, she is hurt bad" Koneko said as she helped Irina up
Asia used her healing powers to help Irina as best as she could
"I'll take her back so she can fully recover" Sona said taking Irina
"You do that, we'll continue the search" Rias said
"Ben, gonna need you to keep on tracking" Issei told Ben
Ben nodded his head as he let out a loud bellow
"It looks like I made it just in time" a voice said
Everyone looked over where they heard the voice and saw Freed standing there with his Excalibur in hand. Ben had transformed back to normal and saw something was different with Freed.
"Is it just me or does his sword look different?" Ben asked the others
"I noticed it too" Issei said
"You would be correct, thanks to the generous donation from the two church agents Irina and Xenovia along with the other two fragments I borrowed, I now have a full Excalibur" Freed told them showing all of them his new Excalibur
"But don't you need the other fragments to have a complete one?" Ben asked confused
"Yes and no, the more fragments you have merged together the more powerful the Excalibur becomes" Rias answered explaining it to Ben
"The Gremory girl is right my transforming friend, while it may not be a complete Excalibur it will be enough to kill all of you" Freed said with a laugh
"We'll stop you no matter what" Issei said
"We're gonna kick your ass" Koneko said
Ben activated the omnitrix and transformed into an alien to fight Freed as. Once the light faded away, it was revealed that Ben had transformed into Swampfire.
"Give up now and we'll make sure that you'll be able to walk after the butt kicking we're about to give you" Ben told Freed as he lit a flame in his hand
"I thought you told me he was far more impressive then that Freed" a voice said
Ben and the others looked around to see who had just said that
"Devils and hero, I would like for you to meet my boss, Kokabiel" Freed said introducing Ben and the others to this man
This man in a black cloak with armor stepped out from the shadows and revealed himself to Ben and the others. He had long black hair, pale skin, pointed ears and blood red eyes. His name as Freed said was Kokabiel and he was one of the leaders of the fallen angels.
"So you are the brains behind this operation?" Ben asked Kokabiel
"You could say that hero, I'm a both surprised and angered that you are here with these pathetic devils" Kokabiel answered
Ben was confused by that, he had never met Kokabiel before and was sure Kokabiel didn't know who he was
"That would hurt my feelings a lot more if I knew who you were" Ben said
"You may not know me hero but I know a lot about you, your family, your friends and much more" Kokabiel said with a twisted smile on his face
"I didn't know you were such a fan, looks like Jimmy has some competition" Ben said jokingly
"Joke all you want, once I kill you I will make sure that no other part of my spell is broken" Kokabiel said
"What magic spell are you talking about?" Ben asked Kokabiel confused
"Why do you think no one in Japan knows who you are, what you've done or why anything alien or monster related exists?" Kokabiel asks Ben
"I really don't know but by the way you are talking I'm gonna assume it has something to do with you" Ben answered
"You are correct, I and few other allies of mine casted a spell around Japan making it so anything about you as well as your exploits and anything related to you wouldn't enter the country by any means" Kokabiel told Ben and the others
"But why would you do something like that?" Rias asked Kokabiel
"Simple, he's told you everything he has done and you've seen his powers, if he found out what my true goal was you'd might call on him for help or he might accidentally show up and ruin my plans" Kokabiel answered
"And what would that plan be exactly?" Ben asked Kokabiel
"Simple, with the power of Excalibur my goal is to ignite another Great War between the three factions" Kokabiel answered telling Ben and the others his plan
Ben remembered what Rias had told him about the first Great War that one time. Many humans, angels, fallen and devils, mostly devils had died. So many had died that almost all of the devils had been wiped to extinction. Humans had also died, being caught in the crossfire of the three factions fighting one another. If Kokabiel was successful, many more people would die and that was something Ben couldn't let happen.
"I am disappointed that Michael only sent two pathetic grunt exorcists to stop me so it looks like I will have to kill devils of Kuoh Academy in order to force the hand of the Four Satans" Kokabiel said
"I'm not going to let you kill my friends or anyone for that matter" Ben told Kokabiel
"Go ahead and try to stop me hero, you've already lost" Kokabiel said
At that moment Ben began to throw balls of fire at Kokabiel as fast as he could. Kokabiel formed a sword of light and cut all of the fire balls in half. Rias and the others rushed in but were stopped by Freed with the Excalibur.
"Leave them alone" Ben said throwing seeds at Freed
"Those won't work on me" Freed said before Ben made the seeds come to life and wrap him up
"You should focus on me hero" Kokabiel said to Ben as he appeared in front of him
Before Ben could even react, Kokabiel cut Ben in half with his light sword. Thanks to Swampfire's regenerative powers as well as hit plant like powers, Kokabiel's light sword went through Ben's body without him being hurt.
"What the?" Kokabiel said confused as he tried to attack Ben once more to the same effect
"You may know a lot about me but it looks like you know nothing about my aliens" Ben said before he punched Kokabiel in the face sending him backwards
Ben looked over and saw the others were still having a hard time dealing with Freed. Ben knew that if that Excalibur cut them it could possibly be the end of them since they were devils.
"Once I am done here, I will have my war" Kokabiel said as he tried to cut Ben's head off
Kokabiel took Ben's head off with his light sword but a vine grew out of Ben's neck and reattached to Ben's head, pulling it back on
"Being a plant really does pay off" Ben said as he fixed his head on straight
"Your regenerative abilities are impressive but let us see how well you do against this" Kokabiel said
Kokabiel took to the air, his black wings keeping him flying as he summoned multiple light swords behind him. Ben couldn't count all of them but he was sure there was at least a thousand or more.
"Time to die" Kokabiel said
"Oh crap" Ben said as Kokabiel snapped his fingers causing all of the light sword to rocket straight for Ben
In a massive barrage, Ben was hit all over by the light swords, each one ripping and tearing through his plant like body. The regeneration of Swampfire wasn't able to keep up with all of the light swords hitting him. Rias and the others saw Ben get hit left and right repeatedly and seeing him unable to move or do anything.
"Ben NO!!!" Akeno cried out
"If this is all you can do pathetic hero I kind of regret wasting my magic to cast that spell" Kokabiel said as he formed more and more light spears ton
Ben knew that he couldn't keep this up all day, the omnitrix would keep him as Swampfire for as long as he needed but Rias and the others wouldn't be able to keep fighting Freed. It was then that Ben decided to changing things up and try a new approach. Slowly, Ben managed to move his arm to the omnitrix badge on his chest as the light swords kept ripping it to spreads.
"If going hero won't work I can always go ultimate instead" Ben said as he twisted the omnitrix badge and hit it
Suddenly prongs came out of the omnitrix badge as a faint green light washed over Ben's body. Rias and the others had seen Ben do this before we he first met them and they fought. Freed and Kokabiel had no idea what was happening to Ben right in front of them. Once the green light had stopped, Ben's form had changed. He was larger and more bulkier, his plant like body had hardened and became wood like.
His blossomed head had formed a blue shell of sorts with two others next to it. Smaller shells had pierced out from his arms as two blue shells formed in his chest looking like eyes. His orange fingers had also become blue to match the other parts of his body. Ben was no longer regular Swampfire, he had evolved and became Ultimate Swampfire.

"Ultimate Swampfire!!! " Ben shouted
"Change into whatever you want, it won't save you" Kokabiel said as he stopped the barrage of light swords and formed one giant one
"You talk a lot for a one trick pony with a basic evil plan " Ben said mocking Kokabiel
"How dare you say such insolence things, I will cut your tongue out myself" Kokabiel said angered
"We'll see about that " Ben said as he braced himself
As Kokabiel swung his massive light sword downwards at Ben, Ben stuck his hands out and fired a massive stream of blue flames from his hands. The power of Ben's flames destroyed the light sword with one hit. Seeing that Ben was still alive, Kokabiel grew even more furious.
"I will KILL YOU!!!" Kokabiel yelled cursing Ben
"They never learn " Ben said as he stuck his arms up and shot out the blue shells that were on them
They hit Kokabiel and stuck to him like they were made of some type of goo. Before Kokabiel realized it, those shells exploded creating a large explosion.
"Boss?" Freed asked concerned
A figure could be seen falling to the ground from the cloud of smoke. Once figure hit the ground it was revealed to be Kokabiel.
"This is the part where you lose, cure revenge against me and don't come back until a long while " Ben said
Kokabiel formed a light sword and slowly stood up, his body covered in burns
"I am one of the leaders of the fallen angels not some mad scientist who mutates toads" Kokabiel said
"Animo put up more of a fight then you are right now " Ben said
"You continue to insult me, yet you don't realize something…I've already won" Kokabiel said
In an instant Ben felt a sharp pain in his body, he looked down and saw the Excalibur that Freed was using sticking out through his chest. Ben looked up and saw that the Excalibur Freed was using wasn't in his hands.
"I was hoping my illusion would take care of you but it appears you are too stubborn to die hero" a voice said
Ben looked back and saw Kokabiel standing behind him with the Excalibur in his hands. He appeared to have no signs of damage on his body and seemed full of energy. It appeared as though the Kokabiel Ben fought was actually an illusion and not the real thing.
"Before you ask hero, the Excalibur I have is the true Excalibur, created by God and given to the heroes of mankind, the one those lousy Forever Knights worshiped is merely a false replica given to them by angels in disguise so they wouldn't be tempted to steal the real one and throw the world into chaos hunting dragons and aliens" Kokabiel said to Ben
"That explains that " Ben said as Kokabiel pulled the Excalibur out of his chest
"Come now Freed, we have matters to attend to at the school" Kokabiel said as he walked away from Ben who had fallen to the ground
"Coming boss" Freed said as he sent Rias and the others back so he could get to Kokabiel
"Let us leave" Kokabiel said
"You aren't going anywhere" Issei said as he went to attack Kokabiel before he could get away
"Foolish Dragon Emperor, you pose no real threat to me" Kokabiel said
Kokabiel lifted his arm up and fired a orb of light at Issei that exploded sending him backwards. Before Rias and the others could do anything, Kokabiel formed orbs around them that also exploded.
"Come and face me at your own peril, you can die here or at your school, it matters not to me" Kokabiel said before he and Freed teleported away
Ben's stab wound healed itself before he turned back to regular Swampfire and then his human form
"You guys okay?" Ben asked the others as he ran to their side
"We'll be okay" Koneko answered
"What about Issei?" Asia asked looking around for Issei
"I'm okay" Issei said as he held his side walking over to them
"You scared me" Akeno said hugging Ben
"Sorry about that but it kinda comes with the territory" Ben said apologizing to Akeno
"We need to get back to the school before Kokabiel can complete his plan" Rias said
"How do we plan on beating him?" Issei asked
"We'll need something that can hit him super hard" Koneko said
"I can try and go into my balance breaker" Issei suggested
"It's gotta be big and hits hard" Rias said
"I think I've got something" Ben said with a grin
Kuoh Academy: Kuoh
Over at Kuoh Academy both Valper and Freed were setting up some kind of mysterious magic circle. While they were doing that both Kiba and Xenovia were watching them from afar.
"What are they doing?" Kiba asked Xenovia
"Whatever it is, it definitely cannot be good" Xenovia answered
"We can't do this alone" Kiba said
"Hopefully backup arrives" Xenovia said
"Ben, if you and the others don't show up sooner or later, I might do something I'm going to regret" Kiba thought to himself
A/N: There you have it readers, Kokabiel has arrived and now he is going to enact his ultimate plan starting another Great War. You also finally got to learn why no one in Kuoh or Japan knows who Ben is or what he has done. I hope you like my explanation for it and don't flip out about me not making it far more complicated then it needed to be. Before any of you tell me, I know Ultimate Swampfire could probably defeat Kokabiel.
Yes Kokabiel stabbed Ben in the back and the Excalibur went through Ultimate Swampfire's super dense body. I've got my reasons for doing that, one Excalibur is a weapon of unknown material made by God himself, Ultimate Swampfire can take a lot but I don't think he can stand being stabbed by such a holy and powerful weapon like that.
Secondly, I have DxD fans who also read this story not just Ben 10 fans. I can't just portray Ben 10 correctly, I've got to do the same with DxD. Kokabiel is a pretty powerful foe that gave Issei and the others a run for their money. He is clearly stronger then a few of Ben's aliens, he didn't beat Ben he just managed to get away. Please understand this and don't tell me all about it in the comments.
I also hope you liked my reasoning for the two Excalibur's existing in the same universe. The Forever Knights do have a habit of misunderstanding things so them being given a fake Excalibur so they don't cause problems makes sense. Moving on, we are almost done with the Holy Sword Arc which means we will be moving onto stronger villains which also means you'll get to see some of Ben's more stronger aliens.
