Aunt Bekah and I walked down the halls of the high school in Mystic Falls. We had become close in the time we had spent together since she had been undaggerd. Uncle Nik's quest for hybrids like himself brought us back to Mystic Falls.

Uncle Nik and Aunt Bekah realized that
Stefan has been keeping something from us and that led back to Mystic Falls after Gloria had disappeared. Turns out he was hiding the fact that somehow Elena had survived the sacrifice v

Uncle Nik had gone in before us while we waited for Stefan to wake up from having his neck snapped. Aunt Bekah had repeatedly snapped his neck on our trip from Chicago to Mystic Falls. Stefan has vamp sped inside as soon as he realized where we were. Aunt Bekah and I followed at a leisurely pace.

We came across Elena's friends Caroline and Tyler first. I quickly surmised it was senior prank night because Caroline was dripping honey on the lockers. Tyler wasn't as into it as she was and he was trying to distract her with kisses.

"You two are adorable," Aunt Bekah said as we walked down the hall towards them.

"Uh do we know you?" Caroline asked.

Tyler said at the same time, "Miss Smith? What are you doing here? Who is she?" He points at Rebekah.

"I'm the new girl," Aunt Bekah said as she showed her vampire face. She rushed at Caroline and snapped her neck.

Tyler yelled out, "Caroline!" He tried to run off but I stepped in his way stopping him.

Aunt Bekah grabbed him and turned to me. "Stay with her, I'll deliver him to Nik."

As I waited with Caroline my phone rang. I answered it to hear on the other side a voice I hadn't heard in years. It was one of my mother's cold ones that had managed to escape, one of only 3 that had managed to make it out alive: Jasper, Peter, and Charlotte Whitlock. Jasper was on the other end of the phone.

"Major?" I addresses him by his military rank. "What's wrong?"

"Have you ever heard of a cold one getting a woman pregnant?" He asked me briskly.

I frowned, "No. but I wouldn't rule it out. There are always loopholes with magic. Why?"

"Edward's human wife is pregnant. I'm trying to find out more. Anything to help, Edward is pushing an abortion and she wants to keep it."

"Wow. I wasn't expecting that. I'm coming to you. I might know someone who knows something. But even if I don't perhaps my knowledge with the original breed of vampires being able to have kids will help. Where are you?" He told me and we hung up.

Aunt Bekah came back at that minute with a dead Tyler sling over her shoulders. I raised an eyebrow and she shrugged, "Their witch is trying to find out what the problem is. Tyler is the test subject."

"I don't know why we didn't have a test subject in the first place." I replied with an eye roll.

Aunt Bekah dropped Tyler near Caroline's Body. She saw Caroline's phone nearby and started fooling around with it.

I sighed, "I have a question. Who out of all of you knows the most about Cold Ones?"

Rebekah scrunched up her nose, "Eww. Horrible imitations of us. Why do you need to know?"

I shrugged, "I have a few friends who are cold ones and my mother is one. I'm curious who knows the most, I'm guessing whoever it is knows more than I do."

She shrugged, "Kol I guess, he's the one with the most knowledge of Magic. But who knows when you'll be able to talk to him. I doubt Nik will undagger him soon."

I nodded and started to lean against the lockers before I stopped myself. I didn't need honey all over me. I huffed in annoyance and at that moment Caroline woke up.

"We didn't have mobile telephones in my day. Would have made life a whole lot easier, I suppose." Aunt Bekah said as she took a selfie.

I voiced my agreement as I took the phone from her and snapped a selfie of both of us before handing it back to her with a laugh.

Caroline groaned and asked, "Where's Tyler?"

"He's dead. Ish." Rebekah said carelessly.

"What did you do to him!?" Caroline exclaimed in horror. She looked around trying to locate Tyler and when she did she scrambled to his side.

"Think of it as he's having a nap. When he wakes up, he'll be a hybrid." Rebekah replied as she started to flip through pictures. "Ugh." She showed me a picture of Stefan and Elena.

Something caught her eye in the picture and she zoomed in. "Is that my neck..." she turned to Caroline as I watched on in confusion. "Why is that doppelgänger bitch wearing my necklace?!" She spat at Caroline.

"The necklace that we were trying to find?" I asked my aunt, referring to the reason Uncle Nik had awoken her in the first place. The necklace was in fact the item that Gloria had wanted to use to get in touch with the Original Witch.

Aunt Bekah ignored me and vamped to the gym where Nik was. I knew I was right in that moment.

I looked at Caroline, "Does Elena still have the necklace?"

Caroline shook her head, "No. Katherine took it."

I laughed. "Of course." I motioned for her to pick up Tyler, "Let's move to a classroom where we'll be a tad more comfortable while we wait for him to awaken."

Aunt Bekah came back and found us in a nearby classroom and with her she brought a time limit. I mentally rolled my eyes at that because there always had been a time limit. Tyler only had a certain amount of time to transition and since he was a werewolf and not an ordinary human he had even less time than usual.

Eventually with almost no time on the clock the verdict came back that Elena needed to do dead forgot to work. Uncle Nik quickly surmised that this was a lie and he actually needed her blood for werewolves to successfully transition. Tyler drank her blood and he became the first successful hybrid.

Uncle Nik then arranged for Elena to be taken to a hospital in order for her blood to be withdrawn. I found out that somewhere in the course of the night he compelled Stefan to turn off his humanity. At the moment Uncle Nik, Aunt Bekah and I were standing outside the hospital.

"Uncle Nik, I got a call while we were at the school. A friend needs some help so I need to take off."

Niklaus frowned at me, "I don't like it."

I shrugged, "I know. But I do need to go. I'll be back as soon as I can. I'll keep in touch with both you and Aunt Bekah."

"Every day you're to call both of us. "He decided.

I nodded and gave him a kiss on the cheek. I turned to Rebekah and gave her a hug. Then I turned and walked off into the night. As soon as I was out of sight I apparated to the truck that held the coffins of the rest of our family. I had a plan but neither my uncle nor aunt could know anything about it.

Luck was with me as I landed outside the school. There was a random drunk guy passing by. I quickly compelled him to come with me and took him in the back of the truck. I led him over to Uncle Kohl's coffin and undaggered him. Then I sat back and waited for him to wake up. It didn't take long for him to wake up. He fed off of the drunk man and then he turned to me.
