The Burrow garden
1st August
Today's the wedding! I'm going to be a bridesmaid, yay! Bad news: with Fleur's sister. Eurgh! I hate Gabrielle. We met Monsieur and Mademoiselle Delacour two days ago with that Gabrielle cow. She's eleven with silvery blonde hair and blue eyes. She's practically Fleur except MUCH WORSE since me and my brother's fiancee have made up.
The wedding was really nice. I wore my hair in a hairstyle like Belle in Beauty and the Beast from the movie Hermione showed me. My dress was gold and I looked like a princess. Harry was sitting with Viktor, Hermione's 'ex', while I danced with Lee Jordan. I don't know what happened, but Harry never talks to me that much now. I'm guessing it has something to do with Ron.
I was musing about this when the Death Eaters attacked. Yep, that's right. Kingsley's patronus managed to save us but we were terribly shaken as we ushered the other guests into our house. The Death Eaters interrogated us but we managed to keep cool and act like we didn't know where Harry was.
Still shaken,

I feel horrible! I think either I'm really worried about Harry and the rest or else I've caught the flu. I'm downstairs in our dinghy kitchen trying to force down pancakes and syrup. Dad is at work, Bill and Fleur at their new house, Shell Cottage, the trio on their mission, the twins at their shop so it should be lonely.
Except it's not since most of the order are eating meals here. Today Tonks, Lupin, Hestia, Greta Wiggleton and Elphias Doge are over. Hestia and Tonks, whose tummy seemed bigger for some reason, were sitting and chatting animatedly. Lupin and and Elphias didn't talk much. Mum was reading Elphias's obituary for Dumbledore aloud.
''Ah, that's nice, Elphie,'' she said, wiping her eyes as she put down the paper.
Elphias beamed and the chatter increased as I blocked it out.
Love,
Gin
