Chapter 34
Surprise Visitors
At UA High, Arisa and Felicia arrived to class as usual.
This time when they saw Usagi, Miru, and Makoto, the three girls were talking normally to Akihiko. The both of them were glad their friends remembered what Akihiko told them yesterday.
Felicia and Arisa took their seats and chatted with their friends for a little while.
When homeroom started, everyone went to their seats, but were surprised when Ms. Heal showed up instead of Speed Girl.
'Ms. Heal?' Arisa thought.
'Blimey! Why is Ms. Heal here?' Felicia thought.
"Holy Carrot! Ms. Heal, what are you doing here?" Usagi spoke first.
"I'm here as a substitute teacher for Speed Girl because she is busy with something right now," she explained.
"You can teach?" Eli questioned.
"Yes, I can," Ms. Heal answered. "I have a teaching degree for substitute teaching. So I can work as a substitute teacher if I'm not busy being a nurse's assistant."
"Okay," Eli accepted and so did the rest of the class.
After that, the classes for Class 1-L continued as usual.
They had Mathematics class taught by Ectoplasm, English class taught by Present Mic, and Modern Hero Art History taught by Midnight.
With so much studying and physical training they've been doing along with their schoolwork, a few of them almost fell asleep, mainly Usagi and Maruto.
That led to them getting yelled by Ectoplasm and Present Mic to stay awake and slapped by Midnight's flogger-style whip to wake up.
-My Hero Academia-
A little later, Class 1-L changed into their hero costumes and was at the USJ, to train for disaster rescues.
Ms. Thirteen, the rescue training specialist and the one in charge of the USJ, split Class 1-L into the following groups and assigned them to the following areas:
Usagi, Makoto, and Arisa in Ruins Zone
Felicia and Tatsumi in Conflagration Zone
Akihiko and Junko in Mountain Zone
Kai, Aku, and Maruto in Landslide Zone
Eli and Miru in Flood Zone
Yuki and Haia in Downpour Zone
With that, the groups went off to their assigned zones.
In the Conflagration Zone, an area that simulates an urban environment that is constantly on fire, Felicia and Tatsumi just entered and had to look for the dummy civilian.
"Wow! It's boiling hot in here!" Tatsumi started, wiping sweat from his forehead.
"Indeed," Felicia agreed, fanning herself with her palette.
"So how do we find the dummy civilian?" Tatsumi asked.
"I think I know what to paint," Felicia said as she took out a paintbrush and a tube of paint from her utility belt.
On the ground, she painted three robins and they came to life.
"Robins, please find the dummy civilian," Felicia told them.
The three birds nodded and flew away to search.
"Good choice. They'll help with finding the dummy civilian faster," Tatsumi commented, watching the birds leave.
Then he noticed Felicia still on the ground, painting something else.
"What else are you painting?" he asked.
"Just these," she revealed two small fire extinguishers as they came to life and gave one to him.
"Thanks," Tatsumi accepted it. "These'll help with getting past any fires in our way."
"You're welcome," Felicia had her fire extinguisher in hand.
Suddenly, two of the robins came back.
"Did either of you find it?" Felicia questioned.
Both of them shook their heads. Then the third robin flew back.
"Did you find it?" she asked.
The last robin tweeted that it did.
"Good. Show us where it is," Felicia said.
The robin nodded as it led the way, with the other robins following it.
"Let's go," Felicia stated.
"Right," Tatsumi nodded.
Both of them followed the robins. On the way, some fire was close to them. Luckily, they had the fire extinguishers to put them out.
A few minutes later, they reached the building, where two robins were. The third robin was flying near the third floor and tweeting, indicating where the dummy civilian is.
Tatsumi and Felicia entered the building through the door, using their fire extinguishers to put out any fire in their way. After taking the stairs, they reached the third floor and found the dummy civilian in a room and lying the floor.
"Alright. We found it," Tatsumi was glad as they entered the room.
"We did," Felicia nodded. "Now we just have to get it out of here."
"I know a quick way to get out," he suggested.
"How?" she questioned.
"You'll see," Tatsumi assured. "First, can you paint a mattress big enough for you and the dummy?"
"Yes," Felicia nodded.
"You do that. I'll take care of the rest," he stated, taking out his Ziku Mix Driver.
Felicia started painting the mattress as Tatsumi put the driver on his waist and took out his Quirk Bottles.
He put each one on the side of the driver and waved his hand over the device, causing it to spin counterclockwise. The spin caused the two bottles to mix the Quirks inside together, and armor materialized on his body.
"Dragon + Gravity equals ... Ryuki! Those who don't fight won't survive!" Felicia heard the device proclaim. "Kamen Rider Zio Mix - Ryuki Armor!"
Just as she finished painting the mattress, Felicia saw Tatsumi with new armor on.
His suit had an armored chest plate and armored boots, his helmet had a red two-eye visor with a grill in front of it, and two dragon wings on the back. His suit's left side (including the dragon wing) was green, and his right side was pink.
"Nice new armor," Felicia commented.
"Thank you," Tatsumi responded as he flew to a window and punched it open.
"Blimey!" Felicia gasped. "What did you do that for?"
"The second part of the plan is to float the mattress outside the building with you and the dummy on it," Tatsumi explained.
"Really?" she questioned.
"If this were a real fire situation, we can't go out the way we came in. The civilian could need help quickly," he explained.
"You make a good point," Felicia understood.
"Okay then," Tatsumi touched the mattress, making it float and moved it outside the window.
He held it close enough to the window for Felicia to get on. She grabbed the dummy civilian, put it on the mattress, and then got on the mattress herself.
'I hope this works,' Felicia thought nervously, lying on the mattress and holding the dummy.
Tatsumi pushed the mattress gently outside the window and once there was enough space between it and the building, he jumped out the window, flapped his wings and flew in the air. Then he got near the mattress and pushed it to the exit.
Felicia was nervous when the mattress was moving on its own, but she felt better when she saw Tatsumi was pushing it.
'I'm glad the mattress isn't moving on its own,' Felicia thought, breathing a sigh of relief.
"You okay there?" Tatsumi asked.
"Yes, I'm fine," she nodded. "Tatsumi, this Kamen Rider is a tv show, correct?"
"It sure is," he said. "Why do you ask?"
"I find the armors I've seen you transform into to be interesting. Perhaps I will watch a bit of this show," Felicia answered.
"Really?!" Tatsumi was surprised. "I'm sure you'll like it. The current season on tv right now is really great. You can watch those episodes and the previous seasons online. Plus, the main characters are great and blah, blah, blah, blah..."
Felicia sweat-dropped from how much Tatsumi was fanboying over the Kamen Rider.
'I hope we get to the exit soon. Tatsumi's interest in Kamen Rider reminds me of Midoriya's mumbling,' Felicia thought.
-My Hero Academia-
In the Ruins Zone, an area that simulates a destroyed urban environment, Usagi, Arisa, and Makoto were looking for the dummy civilian.
"Do you see anyone?" Usagi shouted.
"No one around here!" Makoto replied.
"Not here, either," Arisa said.
Then, one of Usagi's ears twitched. "Hey, I hear something! Over there!" Usagi jumped down and hopped to the place where she heard the noise.
"I found him! I found the dummy!" Usagi shouted. It was stuck inside the rubble. "Let's get him out quick!"
'Wait,' Arisa thought, seeing something.
"Hold it, Usagi!" Arisa stopped her.
"Hey, what's the big deal?" Usagi huffed.
"Arisa's right, Usagi. Look!" Makoto showed her the rubble that trapped the dummy. "See how oddly this rubble is? They are conditionally balanced. If we start moving the rubble out of the way, it may collapse, and the dummy civilian will be crushed."
"Holy Carrot! You are right, and I didn't notice it," Usagi said sadly.
"Don't worry, Usagi. we just have to find a way to remove the rumble without causing it to collapse," Arisa noted.
"Right," Makoto nodded. "Let's start working from here."
-My Hero Academia-
Meanwhile, Felicia and Tatsumi reached the exit quickly and Tatsumi was done with his rambling and transformed back to himself. They put the dummy civilain safely on the ground and completed their task. Then they exited the Conflagration Zone to meet up with the rest of the class.
On the way to the central plaza, they saw Eli and Miru exiting the Flood Zone.
"Hey, Tatsumi and Felicia," Eli waved to them. "You two finished quickly too?"
"We sure did," Tatsumi nodded.
"It was easy working together," Felicia commented. "What about you two?"
"Yeah, it was no problem," Eli grinned.
"Especially with us working together," Miru added.
-My Hero Academia-
After that, they all walked together to central plaza.
When they got there, they saw Yuki and Haia arriving there too. Also, they saw others there they weren't expecting.
Speed Girl and Eraser Head were there along with Thirteen, and so were a nun and a group of children, around the ages of 3-5 and they were about 3.5-3.7 ft tall.
The six Class 1-L students gathered together as they approached the big group. When Speed Girl and Eraser Head saw them coming, they approached them.
"Hello there, my babies," Speed Girl greeted her students.
"Hey Teach Speed Girl and Teach Eraser Head," Eli greeted back happily. "Who are the others with you?"
"She is Sister Koko, and those kids are from Maria's Orphanage for Gifted Children, where she works at," Eraser Head pointed to the nun and kids.
"It's also where Usagi used to live at," Speed Girl added. "They're here on a field trip to UA High."
When the teachers saw Sister Koko coming, the two of them left to keep an eye on the children.
The students saw Sister Koko was a young woman with a kind, warm, and pretty face, but her hair is hidden under her black veil. She wore a black dress, white coif around her neck, and a white underveil beneath the black veil.
"It's nice to meet you, the friends and classmates of Usagi," Sister Koko told the students as she bowed.
"Thank you," the six of them said as they bowed.
"Usagi is an orphan?" Haia asked her classmates.
"She is," Yuki answered.
"Oh, we never told you?" Miru asked.
"How did we forget?" Eli wondered.
"I guess we were so focused on studying and training for the Final Exams that we forgot," Tatsumi figured.
"My apologies, Haia, that we never told you and Akihiko about Usagi," Felicia said.
"No, it's alright," Haia responded calmly.
"So, Sister Koko, Usagi used to live at the orphanage?" Eli asked.
"She did when she was younger. When she got old enough, I helped her find a nice apartment to live in by herself, and it's nearby UA High," she explained.
"That's good," Miru commented.
"Are you and the children enjoying UA High so far?" Felicia questioned.
"Yes, we are," Sister Koko nodded. "It's a wonderful school. The children especially enjoyed the tour so far."
"That's a lot of kids," Tatsumi commented as he saw the group.
"Actually, they are just a small group of the many kids living at the orphanage," Sister Koko revealed. "Usagi knows most of them."
"Oh," the others understood.
"They would be greeting you all right now, but they're really enjoying watching the training rescues that you all did, and the rest of your class is still doing," the nun continued.
The students saw the kids watching the screens happily.
"It's alright," Eli said. "Guess they really wanted to see Usagi in action."
"Hey, look! It's Usagi's friends and classmates," one of them shouted.
Sister Koko saw the kids looking, most of them were happy, at the six of Class 1-L's students.
"Pardon me," Sister Koko said as she left to talk to the kids.
"Wow, those kids look excited to see us," Eli commented.
"Maybe they saw us during the Sports Festival," Tatsumi suggested.
"I think you're right," Miru agreed.
Then the kids calmed down a bit as Sister Koko led them to the Class 1-L group.
"It seems she calmed them down," Yuki figured.
"She's good at her job," Haia commented.
"Indeed," Felicia nodded.
"Children, say hello to Usagi's friends and classmates," the nun instructed.
"Hello," Most of them said.
"Hey kids. I'm Eli, the class rep of Class 1-L," Eli introduced himself happily.
"I'm Tatsumi," he waved to the kids.
"Hi, I'm Miru," she smiled.
"Salutations, my name is Felicia," she bowed to them.
"My name is Yuki," he simply stated.
"Hi, my name is Haia," she also simply stated.
"I'm Kosuke. It's great to meet you guys," an excited boy greeted. He had spiky blond hair and sharp eyes.
"Hello. I'm Annie," a smart girl greeted. She had brown pigtails and wore black glasses.
"My name is Hana," a peppy girl said. She had bowl-cut brown hair with two green-antennas coming out of the top of her head, big yellow eyes, and springs for legs.
"H-hi. I'm Shatoko," a timid girl spoke in a cute voice. She had pale skin, long black hair which covered half of her face and went down near her knees. Only her left purple eye showed.
"The rest of us here are Asuka, Ogawa, Kuina, Sei, and Yuto," Kosuke pointed to each of them.
Asuka was a girl with long salmon-colored hair in a low ponytail, pale skin, and yellow eyes.
Ogawa was a boy with short, maroon-colored shag hair, light skin, and dark-blue eyes.
Kuina was a girl with short purple hair with some strands covering her forehead, light skin, and brown eyes.
Sei was a boy with short, teal-colored mop hair, light skin, and orange eyes.
Yuto was a boy with spiky blue hair, pale skin, and black eyes.
The five of them waved to the Class 1-L students.
"It's nice to meet you all," Felicia said.
"What do you guys think of UA High so far?" Tatsumi inquired.
"It's amazing," Kosuke replied happily.
"The classes are interesting," Annie commented.
"So are the students and teachers," Hana added.
"It's nice here," Shatoko joined in.
"That's great," Miru said.
"It's a wonderful school," Felicia commented.
"We remember seeing you guys on tv during the Sports Festival," Kosuke stated.
"Well, not her," Hana pointed to Haia.
"Hana!" Sister Koko yelled at her.
"No, it's alright," Haia told the nun and then looked at the kids. "My cousin Akihiko and I joined Class 1-L last week."
"Oh, okay," Hana nodded and grinned.
"Eli, you were cool with those bug parts you kept turning your body into," Kosuke commented.
"Aw, thanks," Eli grinned.
"Miru, what's your Quirk?" Hana asked.
"It's Telepathy. I can read people's minds by closing my eyes and focusing on them," she explained.
"That's interesting," Annie stated.
"What a cool quirk," Kosuke said.
"Yeah," Hana nodded.
"Thank you," Miru smiled.
"Felicia, your Quirk is amazing, especially when you painted that giant bird," Hana commented.
"It was clever of you to ride the bird past the obstacles," Annie pointed out.
"The bird was pretty," Shatoko added.
"Oh, that's nice of you three to say," Felicia replied with a smile.
"Yuki, you were awesome in those fights," Kosuke stated.
"Even though we wanted Usagi to win, you two were so cool in that fight," Hana added.
The other kids nodded in agreement.
"Thank you," he simply said.
"I think the four of you, Eli, Miru, Felicia, and Yuki, made a great team in the Sports Festival," Annie said.
"Thanks," three of them said at the same time, but Yuki just nodded.
"Tatsumi, that transformation you did in your fight against Eli was so cool!" Kosuke was excited.
So were the other boys in the group.
"I'm glad you guys think so," Tatsumi felt joy.
"Can you do other transformations?" Annie asked.
"I sure can. It depends on the type of Quirks I know and combine together," he answered. "Speaking of which, do you kids have Quirks?"
"Well, Kosuke, Annie, Shatoko, Kyota, and I have Quirks," Hana admitted. "The others don't have Quirks yet."
The other kids nodded in agreement.
"Who and where is Kyota?" Miru questioned.
"He's over there," Shatoko pointed to outside the group.
The Class 1-L students saw one kid far from the group, standing by himself.
"Okay. So what did you guys like about the Sports Festival?" Tatsumi asked.
Suddenly, all the kids started talking at once to them about what they liked about the Sports Festival.
"Hey, Felicia," she heard Eli call for her.
They both broke away from the group as the kids kept talking to the others.
"What is it, Eli?" Felicia asked politely.
"Maybe we should go talk to Kyota," Eli suggested.
"Why?" she further questioned.
"He could be shy, and I think you and I can get him to open up," Eli figured.
"Okay," Felicia nodded.
Then the two of them walked away from the big group to reach Kyota. As they got closer, they saw the boy had pale white skin, messy cyan hair, and yellow eyes. His clothes were primarily white, except for his black shoes, and he wore blue mittens on his hands.
"Salutations, little boy," Felicia politely greeted.
"Hey there," Eli waved to him. "What's your name?"
"I'm... Kyota," he introduced himself coldly, then looked away from them.
"Is there a reason you're not with the others?" Felicia questioned.
"Because they're into seeing everything at UA High, but I'm not," he looked at them. "I want to see the real deal."
"What do you mean?" Eli didn't get it.
"I think everything we've seen at UA so far is worthless, unless I see some heroes in action," Kyota answered.
"You know, the action isn't the good thing to being a hero," Felicia said.
"Yeah, the learning is important too," Eli agreed.
"Yeah right," Kyota didn't believe them as he rolled his eyes
"Well, you might be wrong about that sometime today," Eli stated.
Not wanting to hear anymore, Kyota looked away from them and said, "Just leave me alone."
Eli and Felicia looked at each other and decided to leave him be.
When Eli left, Felicia told Kyota, "I hope this visit changes your mind."
Then she left too. As Felicia returned to the others, she saw that Kai, Aku, and Maruto had returned, and the kids were talking to them as well.
Of the group of kids, the boys and the girl Annie were mainly around everyone in class, except Yuki who was standing away from them. He had the rest of the girls around him.
'I wonder why the girls are around him,' Felicia thought as she went to go see what was going on.
"What's going on here?" she asked Yuki and the girls.
"We were just telling Yuki here that he looks cool," Hana replied.
"And he was strong and amazing in the Sports Festival," Shatoko added.
The girls Kuina and Asuka nodded in agreement to what both girls said.
"Then they asked to touch my tail and wings, and I said no," Yuki explained calmly.
Felicia stood next to him as she told the girls, "Look, if he doesn't want you to touch him, then you can't."
"Hey, Felicia, are you and Yuki together? Because you two look nice with each other," Hana questioned and the other girls were curious.
"What?!" Felicia gasped and blushed in embarrassment, knowing the little girl asked if the two of them were a couple. "No, we're not together."
"What do you mean? We're here together right now," Yuki was confused.
"That's not what she meant, Yuki," Felicia stated.
Luckily, she was saved when they heard the other kids becoming excited seeing Akihiko and Junko arrive.
The girls with Felicia and Yuki left them and went to go talk to Akihiko and Junko.
'Thank goodness,' Felicia thought, breathing a sigh of relief.
"I'm going to join the rest of the class," she told Yuki. "Do you want to come?"
"Fine," he agreed as they both joined the others.
Felicia overheard the kids were excited to see Kai and Junko because of how they did in the Sports Festival. The little girls were especially happy to meet Akihiko because of his charm.
-My Hero Academia-
Finally, the group of Usagi, Makoto, and Arisa came in last, having just finished their task and exited the Ruins Zone. They walked to the center plaza, expecting to meet the rest of the class and Thirteen there.
"I'm glad we finally finished," Makoto sighed.
"It was hard work," Arisa noted.
Then both girls noticed Usagi not moving and speaking, but looking at something.
Arisa and Makoto saw she was looking at the plaza and were surprised by who was there.
Not only were Thirteen and their classmates there, but also Speed Girl, Eraserhead, a nun, and a group of children.
Suddenly, Usagi smiled, which Makoto and Arisa noticed.
"Big Sis Usagi!" The children ran towards her.
"Holy Carrot!" Usagi was stampeded by the mob of children
'The kids know Usagi?' Arisa thought.
The rabbit girl recovered quickly, then started hugging and padding the kids' heads. Makoto and Arisa watched her with a sweat-drop and confused look.
'It looks like Usagi knows them too,' Arisa thought.
"What are you guys doing here?" Usagi asked.
"We are on a field trip!" Kosuke exclaimed.
"You were awesome, Big Sis Usagi!" Hana jumped in joy.
"I learned a lot from watching you," Annie said.
"I think, um, you did well, Usagi," Shatoko commented shyly.
"Ah, thank you, guys," Usagi said, feeling grateful.
"Usagi." She looked up to see Sister Koko, who was delighted to see her caretaker.
"Sister Koko, you're here, too!" She explained as she hugged the nun.
"I am glad to see you are doing well in school," Sister Koko said. "Although, I thought you knew that we would be coming here. Didn't you get my message a couple of days ago?"
"Huh ... Oh! HOLY CARROT!" Usagi gasped over-dramatically. "I forgot all about it!"
"You don't have to be that dramatic!" Both Makoto and Arisa stated.
"Yo, Usagi," Eli joined in. "We all met these kids and Sister Koko. They are here on their field trip and wanted to see how we do things as a hero and stuff."
"Really? All of you were watching us?" Usagi asked the kids.
"That's what we said!" Hana stated.
"Yeah! You are awesome, and so are your friends, like Eli, Drago, and Felicia," Kosuke admitted.
"Ahhh, thank you," Usagi said tearfully as she hugged them all. Then she noticed one other kid, who was standing a bit far from the group. "Oh, hey. I've never seen you before. My name is Sakura Tsubomi, but everyone calls me Usagi. What's your name?"
"I'm... Kyota," he introduced himself coldly as he looked the other way.
"He's new, but he doesn't talk with us or hang out with us at all," Kosuke noted.
"Kosuke!" Sister Koko yelled at him.
"But it's true!" Kosuke replied. "Besides, he is the one who made Mr. Eraser Head bring us here, so he can see the 'real deal' or whatever he said."
"The real deal?" Usagi repeated as he looked at her classmates.
They nodded in response, most of them not knowing precisely what it means.
'What does that mean?' Arisa thought.
'Perhaps I should explain it to her,' Felicia thought.
Before she could, Kai stepped in.
"I think what he means is to see how heroes are trained to be heroes. I assume that this kid, Kyota, wanted to see how hero students train to be a hero, rather than seeing classes because he thinks that is boring," Kai explained.
'Blimey! Kai got it right,' Felicia thought.
'Oh, that's what Kyota wants,' Arisa thought.
"But Kai, I did my best to show them around the school," Speed Girl said in sad baby-tone voice while crying.
Eraser Head looked at her with careless eyes. "There is no reason to cry about it."
"Oh, I see!" Usagi understood as she turned her attention back at Kyota. "Well, Kyota, I don't know if what you saw us do here taught you anything, but everyone here, including me, are doing our best to be Pro Heroes someday. I hope you are inspired in some way."
Kyota didn't look inspired or even impressed. "Whatever. Let's get going, anyway. It's almost lunchtime."
"Looking at the time, it's almost noon," Speed Girl said. "Time flies when you have fun!"
"OK! Then let's go to the cafeteria to eat! Come on, kids!" Usagi declared as the children lined up in a straight line.
"All aboard the train! Next stop, the cafeteria!" Usagi started moving with the children behind her.
"Yeah!" They cheered as they followed her and moved with her as they pretended to be a train.
Her classmates sweat-dropped at her. Felicia, Akihiko, and Haia joined Arisa and Makoto when Usagi left.
"That's so cute!" Speed Girl shrieked.
"Does she always act like this?" Akihiko asked Arisa.
"Well, not most of the time for sure," Arisa said honestly.
"Indeed," Felicia nodded. "Though, I've never seen this side of Usagi before."
"I see. Well, Usagi seems to be good at dealing with kids," Akihiko commented as he grinned.
"It appears so," Haia noted.
-My Hero Academia-
A little bit later, everyone headed to the cafeteria hall for lunch. Also, some of the Class 1-L girls explained to Akihiko and Haia about Usagi being an orphan and that she is on the search for her birth mother. The orphanage sat together at a long table, prepared ahead of time by Lunch Rush and his kitchen staff. Usagi and her classmates and friends, Arisa, Felicia, Kai, Eli, Akihiko, and Haia joined them. The following members of Class 1-A also joined them: Midoriya, Ocacho, Tsuyu, Yaoyorozu, Iida, and Todoroki, Alongside Eraser Head and Speed Girl, there were 28 people at the table.
Lunch Rush and his staff also prepared the food. It was a buffet, with the delicious chicken in the middle. All the other students in the cafeteria saw them, and some looked jealous of how delicious the food looked at their table.
"Holy Carrot! These dishes look so yummy!" Usagi exclaimed as she was drooling.
"Seriously, dudette. This is like the best," Eli added as he was also drooling.
"You two, cover your mouths," Kai pointed out.
'Oh, those two,' Arisa and Felicia thought as they saw Usagi and Eli.
"Well then, we have a wonderful lunch prepared by our finest kitchen staff who always prepare and cook our lunches here at UA High," Speed Girl announced. "How about we dig in then!"
"Yeah!" Kosuke agreed as he stood up. "I'm starving!"
Felicia and Arisa were about to begin eating, but someone spoke up.
"Hold on, everyone," Everyone stopped what they were doing or what they were going to as they turned their attention to Sister Koko. "Remember what we have to do before we eat."
"Oh right," Kosuke said as he sat back on his seat.
"Oh yeah! I almost forgot," Usagi said.
"What's going on?" Ocacho asked.
"Oh!" Midoriya gasped to realize it. "Uraraka, I think Sister Koko wants all of us to pray with her."
"Oh! OK," the gravity girl said as she joined their hands in a praying position, as did the others at the table.
Sister Koko began the prayer. "O our Heavenly Father, we are grateful for this meal and our time here so far in our special field trip at UA High. The people here are too kind, and we appreciate their kindness from the bottom of our hearts. Let's enjoy this meal together as we say our prayer and thanks to this meal to you, our lord and savior. Amen."
"Amen!" Everyone said.
"Alright. You can eat now," Sister Koko stated. Right after she said that, the kids began gobbling up everything they can touch, including Usagi.
"Blimey! They are more starving than I expected!" Felicia gasped.
"They really are," Arisa said, looking a bit shocked too.
'The way they eat reminds me of how Yuki ate when we were at the restaurant,' Felicia thought.
While Sister Koko talked with the two teachers, the students of Class 1-A and 1-L at the table talked with some of the kids. Arisa and Felicia, while sitting next to each other, overheard some of them talking while they were eating.
"Someday, I am gonna be the hero, like All Might!" Kosuke declared. "I'm going to be strong, cool, and brave, like him because he is my favorite!"
"That's good to hear, Kosuke," Midoriya exclaimed. "He is my favorite too."
"I want to be a hero, too, but maybe in the rescue job or something similar," Hana stated.
"That sounds terrific idea, Hana," Ocacho said.
"I agree, ribbit. It sounds like you want to be like Miss Thirteen," Asui commented.
"Yup!" Hana nodded as she hopped joyfully.
"... And that's how you can be qualified for UA High via the recommendation system," Momo finished explaining to Annie.
"I see, I see. Then I must start studying if I have the chance to get recommended for this school," Annie said.
"Well, it sounds like to me you are a brilliant girl, Annie. I am sure you have the chance to get in the recommendation for UA High someday," Momo noted.
'Blimey! It's surprising that Annie understood everything Momo said,' Felicia thought, sitting next to the creation girl.
"I ... I want to be part of UA High if my friends go too," Shatoko said, talking with Akihiko.
"Of course you can! But, even so, you can also make new friends, too. There are a lot of people here, and someday when you grow up, you will meet people who you can befriend," Akihiko encouraged the girl.
"Oh ... OK," Shatoko said, blushing a bit as Akihiko grinned.
Arisa looked at everyone, talking with the children and getting along with them.
"Do you see all of this, Kai?" She asked the boy sitting next to her. "Everyone's getting along so well with the children from Usagi's orphanage."
"Not everyone, though," Kai stated as he looked over at the only kid who wasn't talking with anyone.
Arisa noticed it was Kyota, so did Felicia. Arisa was thinking of walking over to the boy's side and talking with him, but before she did, someone else did it for her. Arisa and Felicia saw it was Usagi going to the kid.
'I hope Usagi can help him,' Felicia thought.
It looked like the talk between Usagi and Kyota was good, but then something happened.
"Kyaaaaaahhhh!" Someone screamed so loudly that everyone turned their attention to it.
"Wh-What is this thing?" A female student screamed. At the exit/entrance of the cafeteria, some strange, giant green vines were expanding, getting inside the cafeteria.
It grabbed the said screaming female student, along with other students in the near vicinity. Then, a mouth grew out, which looked like a Venus Flytrap. It roared like a monster.
'What the?' Arisa thought with concern.
'Blimey!' Felicia thought worriedly.
"Holy Carrot! What is that thing?" Usagi pointed.
"Everyone, stay calm and run through the back hallway!" Aizawa ordered them. "My class and other hero students, protect the children and everyone else!"
The hero students nodded. Midoriya and Ocacho grabbed Kosuke and Hana respectively. Felicia and Arisa helped the other hero students get Sister Koko and the children to safety.
"Come on, Kyota!" Usagi grabbed the boy's mittened hand as they ran away from the growing plant creature.
Aizawa and Speed Girl tried to figure out a way to stop the plant monster, but then it got them both in its vines.
Meanwhile, the Class 1-A and 1-L members led the orphanage to safety, but on their way, they were attacked by more vines that crashed through a wall, blocking their path.
"They are coming out of the wall!" Eli exclaimed.
"Just where are these vines coming from?!" Momo yelled.
"How do we got out of this?" Arisa wondered aloud.
"I don't know, but we can somehow," Felicia assured her.
"Everyone! This way! To the outside!" Iida stated as everyone turned to the left, away from the vines.
Arisa and Felicia ran with the others through the opening. Everyone managed to get away from the vines. They were at the outdoor plaza, where students can relax and enjoy the beautiful garden and fountain.
"Is everyone alright?" Sister Koko asked.
"Yeah, I think so," Usagi answered. "All the children are here, Sister Koko."
"Are you okay, Felicia?" Arisa questioned.
"I am," Felicia nodded. "And you?"
"Yeah," Arisa replied.
Suddenly, the vines had outgrown, and then three Venus Flytraps crashed through the rooftop of the buildings. Several vines stretched out through the broken hole in the ceiling. They noticed the vines entangled the people.
"Look, Deku! There's Iida!" Ocacho pointed, and Felicia and Arisa saw as well.
"This thing is too tight!" Iida complained as he tried to loosen out of the vines but to no avail.
Other people that the strange plant creature entangled were Eraser Head, Speed Girl, members of the UA faculty, including Principal Nezu. Some of the Class 1-A students, like Sero, Kirishima, Hagakure (who they can tell because it was holding something there, but it wasn't due to her Quirk, Invisibility) were trapped by the vines. Members of Class 1-L, like Tatsumi, Yuki Drago, Aku, and everyone else were also trapped. There were even Neito Monoma and Itsuka Kendo, too.
"Holy Carrot, it has everyone from our class, teachers, and other people from other classes!" Usagi screamed.
"My oh my!" They heard a familiar voice, revealing to be Hatsume from the Support Class.
"It seems like my baby works too well! My Plant-O-Grower works! This is going on my success list," Hatsume said.
"Not a good time now, Hatsume!" Power Loader scolded her before vines wrapped around his mouth.
"So it was Hatsume's fault?" Arisa questioned.
"It would appear so," Felicia said.
"Mffff, mffff!" Bakugo struggled to get out of the vines, but it was not affecting it at all.
"Kacchan!" Midoriya crided.
"What are we going to do, man?! That thing captured all the teahers, and we may be the only ones left!" Eli said.
"There is nothing else to do but stand our ground here," Todoroki said as he stepped forward.
"We don't have any other choices," Kai added. "We have to fight back, protect the kids, and save our school."
"That's right. We have to fight and protect!" Midoriya declared.
Eli smirked, joining in with the guys. "Now that's what I like to hear!" He turned to the girls. "You girls protect Sister Koko and the kids."
"I will join with you guys," Akihiko said, stepping in. "What kind of person would I be if I don't fight back, you know?"
"I will join too!" Usagi hopped in.
"Big Sis Usagi!" The children exclaimed.
"Usagi!" She turned to the kids and the kind nun with a smile "Don't worry, everyone! We will handle things here!"
"We will protect the kids!" Momo decided as the other girls nodded to that.
'My Quirk would be better to protect the kids than fight the monster,' Arisa thought.
'Though I would want to help fight the monster, protecting the kids is very important right now,' Felicia thought.
"Alright then," Midoriya nodded back to the girls and then looked at each of the guys, including Usagi.
Arisa and Felicia watched as the group of Kai, Midoriya, Eli, Todoroki, Usagi, and Akihiko prepared to attack the plant monster.
They also saw behind them some of the kids looking scared and Sister Koko trying to comfort them.
"I hope they know what they're doing," Arisa was worried.
"I'm sure they do," Felicia assured her.
The two girls then saw the plant creature started to attack first. The group of six dodged out of the way. Todoroki used his fire to burn the vines entangling the students and teachers, but thicker vines grew out of the ground and blocked his fire attack.
Eli retaliated by cutting down the vines. The plant creatures roared with their three heads, signifying that they felt pain from Eli's cut. Then, more vines grew out of the ground and moved towards Eli. He quickly grew dragonfly wings on his back and flew away just in time to dodge the vines.
Usagi kicked the vines, Kai punched the vines, and Akihiko kicked and beat his way out of the vines.
Todoroki used his right arm to summon ice, freezing some of the vines. Midoriya ran up the vine to one of the creatures and punched one of the heads. It was strong enough that it caused some juice to come out.
The plant creature cried in pain and used the vine to whip at Midoriya.
"Deku," Ocacho cried.
Fortunately, Usagi jumped and grabbed Midoriya before he hit the ground. She let him stand up on his feet again when they were back on the ground.
Todoroki tried to use his fire and ice power to destroy the vines that were trapping the other people. Eli also helped, but the plant creature reacted too well that it won't let them get nearby.
"This doesn't look good," Arisa pointed out.
"I'm sure our friends and classmates will find a way to stop it," Felicia assured her.
Then something unexpected happened: Akihiko ran towards the creature, which both girls noticed.
"What is Akihiko doing?" Arisa asked.
"He's going to distract the creature in order to create an opening for the others to strike back!" Felicia exclaimed.
The plant creature noticed Akihiko, giving him all of it's attention. It aimed its vines towards him, grabbing him.
"Gaah!" He winced in pain as the creature tightened its grip to the point that blood came out from his mouth. "Gaaaahh!"
Felicia and Arisa were worried when they saw that happen to him.
"Akihiko!" Haia yelled. "What do you think you're doing?!"
"Giving us a chance!" he answered. "Now guys!"
Eli and Todoroki started their moves immediately. Todoroki used his ice powers to freeze part of the creature's body to make it stop moving a little. Then, Eli quickly flew up and then fell due to gravity with his scythe arms ready.
Eli cut two peopel tangled in the vines while Todoroki used a bit of his firepower to free more people. Soon, some people, like Kirishima and Tetsutetsu, were free from the vines.
Midoriya and Usagi kicked the frozen parts of the vines to free more people.
However, soon the icy part of the creature's body cracked and finally shattered into pieces, revealing itself.. The beast roared in retaliation and used its vines to strike at the girls and children.
"Kyah! It's coming right at us!" One of the children screamed.
'Oh no,' Arisa though with worry.
When she saw that Felicia immediately took out a paint brush and tube, and started painting some shields for herself and the girls to use.
"Everyone, stand guard!" Momo yelled as she created a shield with her Quirk.
"Ladies, catch!" Felicia shouted, throwing to the other girls shields for them to use.
All the girls protecting Sister Koko and the kids help up their shields to block vines. Though the vines were so firm that they started cracking the shields, allowing them to grow tiny vines to move through the cracks.
"It's coming through the cracks!" Arisa was startled.
'Blimey! The plant creature is very stubborn,' Felicia thought.
However, suddenly, the vines stopped attacking. The girls found it strange, but soon found out why.
"Sister Koko?!" Usagi was surprised by what she saw, and so were the other girls.
Sister Koko was standing near the creature with her hair out, gripping on the plant creature's vines.
Two orange bangs of her hair were sucking yellow light into her. The plant creature roared in pain as it started getting weaker and weaker. Suddenly, the beast used it strength to grab Sister Koko to stop what she was doing to it.
"Kyah!" She gasped.
"Oh no," Arisa was worried.
"Blimey!" Felicia was concerned.
"Sister Koko!" Usagi yelled as the plant creature held her and came closer to its mouth.
"No! I won't let you eat her!" Usagi roared as she ran towards it to kick at it.
She kicked the creature on its roots so hard enough it loosened its grip, releasing Sister Koko, but causing her to fall.
"Sister Koko!" Usagi cried.
Felicia and Arisa saw in shock the falling nun.
However, something moved fast, which confused everyone.
"Ha, ha, ha," Everyone turned to the rooftop to see who it was.
The kids' scared faces turned to excited, overjoyed faces with hope returned to their eyes.
"It's fine now! Why? Because I am here!" All Might exclaimed heroically while carrying the unconscious nun in his arms.
"All Might!" Everyone exclaimed. He put down the nun safely.
"I was just coming back with a special lunch when I heard the commotion," All Might stated firmly. "And here I see what appears to be some science experiment gone wrong!"
The creature roared at him and used its every ounce of strength to attack All Might. He jumped out of the way. As he was in midair above the creature, he had his fist ready.
Arisa and Felicia saw and overheard how excited the kids were about All Might.
"Oh boy! Here he comes!" Kosuke exclaimed.
"This must be it!" Hana jumped in joy.
"It's going to happen!" Annie stated.
"This is it!" Even the shy Shatoko's eyes sparkled as she was excited about knowing too well what would happen next.
Kyota watched as he was speechless.
"California ... " All Might, along with the children, said it at the same time. "SMASH!"
The force of his punch slammed the creature to the ground. It was powerful enough to completely stop it, destroying the invention that gave birth to it, which also stopped its rapid growth.

Later that day, the school cleaned up the mess. Fortunately, only a little significant property damage, including the big hole in the ceiling, and Principal Nezu announced that the repair would be put in immediately.
Sister Koko was not injured heavily. Thankfully, she woke up soon after the situation was over. The children were glad that their caretaker was safe, but Usagi was the most worried. They shared a long hug after that.
As for Akihiko, he had to stay in the infirmary for a longer recovery, possibly remain there for the night. Haia went to the infirmary too in order to check on her cousin.
Meanwhile, Miru and Makoto told the rest of Class 1-L that they would be getting gifts for Akihiko. Also, that Maruto, Tatsumi, Aku, Junko, and Yuki would be coming to help them bring the gifts.
-My Hero Academia-
Outside of UA High, some of the 1-L and 1-A students, including Usagi, Sister Koko, Eraser Head, Speed Girl, and Principal Nezu watched All Might play with the children.
"Sister Koko." She turned to Principal Nezu, who was bowing to her. "I apologize for all the chaos you and the children went through today. I've never expected something like this to happen."
"I am sorry, too," Speed Girl apologized.
"I want to apologize too, Sister Koko! If only I was stronger, I ... I would've protected you better!" Usagi cried.
"Oh, no, no! Please don't feel that way. It was quite an exciting day. The children enjoyed it so much more than usual," Sister Koko assured the teachers as she smiled. "I am just glad that they were safe, and so is everyone despite some injuries."
"Usagi." Sister Koko held her hand on the rabbit girl's shoulders. "You did protect me. You and your friends stood up to the threat and helped them stop that threat while saving others and protecting everyone else. You did all that, and you think you are not strong? You are strong, dear, and, no one, not even me nor God, would say otherwise. I believe that firmly."
Usagi began crying as a tear fell like a waterfall. "Sister Koko!"
They hugged long again as the kind nun comforted her. Her classmates and friends grinned and were glad that everything is alright for Usagi and her caretaker, Sister Koko.
After that, the children got on the bus. Before she joined them, Sister Koko turned to Usagi and everyone who came to say goodbye to them.
"Usagi, do good to others and stay strong," she said.
"Yes, Sister Koko. I will," she said as she wiped her nose and tears.
"And to everyone, please take good care of her. She can be a bit of a handful, but she is kind," Sister Koko stated.
"We will, Sister Koko," Eli smirked. "And occasionally tease her too."
"Hey, what's that supposed to mean!" Usagi scowled.
Everyone laughed at that. Sister Koko joined with the children as the bus driver began the engine and closed the door.
"OK, kids. Next stop, home!" The bus driver, who happened to be Stan Lee, started the engine and turned the wheel. The bus drove away as Usagi and her friends waved goodbye at them.
While Speed Girl, Eraser Head, and Principal Nezu talked to each other, the Class 1-A students there decided to head home and told the Class 1-L students there (Arisa, Felicia, Usagi, Kai, and Eli) that they hoped Akihiko would be alright.
After that, the five Class 1-L students were left to speak. Usagi decided they should go see Akihiko before heading home, to see if he is okay. Eli, Arisa, and Felicia agreed with the idea, and Kai decided to go along with it.
In the hallway, Arisa and Felicia talked to each other while walking with the others to the nurse's office.
"I hope Akihiko is okay after those injuries from the plant monster," Arisa was worried.
"Indeed," Felicia agreed.
Little did they know that once they got there, they were going to discover something shocking.
A/N: It's TGRickel again with another chapter for this story.
