Chapter 3
The time we spend with family

The sound of talking woke Thall up as he look up from his bed to see that his wife was having a Holocall, he only heard bits of what was being said but from what he gathered his wife didn't sound happy, he open his eyes fully as he got out of bed and walks towards his wife to see that she was talking with the rebels, he didn't know who she was talking with but from the rank that hangs on his uniform, he figures the man was a Colonel so that meant he must be a high ranking officer.

He greeted his wife first with a kiss to the cheek as he turn to the Colonel and gave the man a nod, he then began to speak. "So Colonel, what seems to be the problem,"

"Ah you must be Kea's husband, the name Colonel Dursa Conegan, I was talking with Lt Kea about a mission that I need her on," said Colonel Dursa as Thall turn to his wife as she gave him a smile as she spoke.

"Thanks, Colonel I'll fill in my husband about what we're going to do," said Kea as she step forward and cut the connection, she then turn to Thall as she gave him a smile and spoke.

"Don't worry about the mission too much, it's just a transport mission, we are to take a group of rebels to Jaemus shipyards in the Obtrexta Sector, from what information we have been getting from our contact code name Tigress, on Bescane several people have been going missing, the contact thinks It may have something to do with an Imperial secret project but first we need to head to Jaemus to get some information and then make our way to Bescane," said Kea as Thall nodded as he put his hand on her as she spoke.

"Alright Kea when do we leave," said Thall as he knew he could not ask his wife to leave the mission, all he could do was help her.

"Thanks love, but first while don't we eat with the kids and Jord, and while we at it we can ask my mother and Gar to help watch the kids while we and Jord are gone,"

Thall nodded as they got ready to tell their three kids that they were going to be away for a few days, his thoughts then went to his and Kea kids, their oldest son Grafan was 16 years old, followed by their two daughters Zena and Scerria which were 15 and 14, while his son looks like a younger version than him when he was still a speeder driver, his two daughters were the spinning image of there mother, he was happy, his life going great even though the Empire close down his old job, in which he and Jord designed new speeder models for the company he was working for.

It was only thanks to the fact that Kea found him and Jord only three months later, after getting to know each other again she offer him and Jord a job in designing new speeders for the rebels, seeing as there was no way that any other company would hire them because of the what the Empire did, they accepted, from there it was two years later that he and Kea shared there vows and tied the knot, it was 9 months later that Grafan was born.

The family life was something that Thall didn't know if he would ever want but after seeing his firstborn face when he was held in his mother's arms, that was the greatest moment in his life and he was forever grateful for the family that he has.

But for now, was going to spend time with his wife and children and shove the thoughts of the ongoing battle between the rebels and empire on putting them in the back of his mind.

Rafan Ghent was a simple teenager, he was only 17 years old and soon after he graduated from High school next year he would join his father at the factories even though he would rather join the Imperial Academy but his father had asked him to wait a few years before he decides to join, he lives with his father and mother and two other siblings, his father and mother names were Drake and Ekria Ghent, his two siblings names are Amara and Zakarisz, he is the oldest of the three Ghent children, but at the moment he was just hanging out in Arcade Omicron a cantina in the city of Lumchugger's Hub.

Or the Hub as most Bescanians called it, Bescane, a planet with a Type I breathable atmosphere, most of Bescane surface was covered in factors as the planet produce the heavy metals, ion fuel, and many more exports, home to a population of over 10 billion, the planet Government was also the owner of all the factories, its name was called Galentro Heavy Works, they were the ruling Government in charge of Bescane and their most valuable client was the Empire.

But to Rafan it was home, the smell and the gasses the factories produce, where what made this place home to him and his family, his father ran run of the factories as their head boss, he even took him to see the place that one day he himself may run, but as he was just minding his own business playing the games that the cantina had he suddenly felt a small prick on his neck but when he went to turn he began to feel light-headed as he fell in someone's arms as his vision went black as he was dragged away.

Rex, the old clone has seen many battles during his time in the clone wars, even during this new Imperial era, face death more time than he could count but all those times he fought by the side of his brother and his Generals, but now that time had passed, no longer is he on the frontlines fighting the good fight with his brothers, now he leads natural-born men and women from the confines of his HQ on board Home One, if his men could see him now they would laugh and say why are you sitting on your butt Capt.

But he shoves the thought away as he hears a familiar ring coming from his terminal as he turns to look as spots the name, he quickly answers the Holocall as the hologram of Talon Karrde appears on his desk, the man looks the same from the last time he spoke with him.

"What can I do for you Karrde," said Rex as he gave the man a look hoping that whatever the old space smuggle would hurry up on what he was selling, but all Karrde did was give him a grin as he spoke.

"No Major Rex, it's what I can do for you," said Karrde as Rex now looks with interest on what could Karrde have wanted.

"Ring ring ring ring!"

At first, when Dante awoke he thought that it was his alarm going off but as he open his eyes and turn to shut it off, the rining still went on, he move to get off the bed but as he did he heard groaning as he stops and smile as turn to look at both side of him only to see that both girls were sleeping, their forms were cover by the sheet but he could see that look to be sleeping peacefully so he made sure to slowly get out as he walks towards his Holocomms.

"Ring ring ring ring!"

"Stop I am coming, I coming," said Dante as he comms terminal and pressed the button to activate it, once he did the voice of someone he knew came out from the speaker as he smile. "So Karrde do you have any good news,"

And that ends Chapter 3, I know this chapter took longer than most and it was much shorter than the last two, but I still hope you guys still like it as it shows a little about what other characters are doing, and what Dante is doing, Rex is also here and has a new rank, I don't know if the rebels ever gave him a promotion or they still had him at Captain, but I thought with his age and everything he would most likely be put on desk duty for now until the battle of Endor.

As you guys read I also began to add legend characters, mostly from the old Star Wars Droids cartoon show, as for the second it is from an old star war comic about where three Jedi Padawan escape Order 66 and are on the run, this comics also tell us that Barries became a knight and was given a Padwan of her own name Zondor, that was something I didn't like about Star Wars the clone wars tv show, don't get me wrong it was a great show but I wish they had barries as she was, in the old canon she was about the same age as Anakin so for my headcanon she became a knight and had a padawan.
