Chapter 6: Jealousy, Betrayal, and Death of a Former Uchiha
Narumi was a bit down and she was wandering the Uzu-Nami compound. She had lost her preliminary match and wasn't promoted like her siblings so she was down in the dumps. "Both Onii-chan and Nee-nee were promoted. I really am nothing but a loser...Neji is right about me! I didn't get any talents from Kaa-chan like they did!" Then she felt an odd feeling as she then passed out unconscious luckily being in her own home as she falls to the floor. When Narumi wakes up she found herself in a sewer like place. She saw it was damp with a literal wet soaked floor. "Where am I? Some kind of sewer?"
"This is actually in your mindscape kit. Its about time I got to meet you properly." Said a loud demonic voice right close nearby as Narumi gasped feeling that strong chakra that often overwhelmed her. She turned to see a giant brown-red colored nine tailed kitsune with black fur going around its eyes up to its ears, and a humanoid upper body complete with opposable thumbs on its hand like paws sitting up on its haunches before her its nine tails swishing behind it calmly .
Narumi gasped stunned seeing the giant fox. "Y-You're...You're the Kyuubi?"
"Indeed I am the Kyuubi. But it is just a title, your people have given me kit. I actually do have a proper name given to me by my father my name is Kurama." The fox replied.
Narumi was surprised at how talkative the fox was being to her instead of being all scary and raging about how its the incarnation of hatred itself. "Um aren't you supposed to be all hateful and scary and and try to attack and kill me?" She asked Yin-Kurama.
Yin-Kurama chuckled knowing about her confusion. "That would indeed be the case if you had my Yang half inside you instead of me the Yin. I am the Yin half and completely lack the utter malice and hatred my Yang half possesses. Now kit listen, I'm here to help you finally learn how to master my power. The reason you went berserk before is because I wasn't able to meet you until now to make a connection for you to properly channel it."
"Really? You're gonna help me learn to master your chakra?! Alright!" Narumi said excitedly.
"Indeed kit, it will be a bit difficult task; but knowing how you are you won't give up without trying." Yin Kurama replied seeing her nod with that grin Kushina always gave.
"I won't give up or back down...That's my ninja way Dattebane!" Narumi said her grandmother's verbal tic.
Yin Kurama chuckled. "Definitely got your maternal grandmother's personality. My Yang half would definitely be annoyed and threatening you. Alright Narumi if you're ready it is time to begin your training."
Kawa no Kuni was definitely in a bad spot, the entire countryside was obliterated and on fire almost nothing remained from the effects of a powerful technique Soshi had used on the country during his visit, almost everyone had been annihilated, the Akatsuki's hideout had been destroyed but luckily they hadn't been there and the leader Pain/Nagato had made several hideouts around the elemental nations, just one of them had been in the country. But this was the first serious move Soshi made against the Akatsuki: Wipe out one of their main hideouts.
Flashback
Soshi floated high over a river and a giant mountain with a boulder in its cavern opening with a seal on it. The young deity activated his Byakugan seeing the inside cavern not seeing any of the members. "So that's one of their hideouts. This is the first move that I will make against the Akatsuki. It is too bad that the country itself will likely be destroyed as well." Soshi landed on the river and then arched his head back and unleashed a mighty loud roar as the sky darkened and several giant tornadoes appeared all around him, a massive torrential downpour roared and powerful lightning struck everything it could strike. The entire country was utterly decimated by his Tenpechii technique. Finally the technique ended in a huge mushroom cloud like explosion and after all the dust settled nothing remained of Kawa No Kuni but a large crater quickly filling with water. Soshi nodded and flew off back to Hi No Kuni.
Flashback end
Soshi flew into Konohagakure and floated over the Hokage Monument as he looked down at the different heads: the Shodaime, Nidaime, Sandaime, his late maternal grandfather the Yondaime, and his birth mother the former Godaime. "So they haven't added Tsunade's face yet but with the village currently recovering from an invasion, I suppose there was no time for it yet." The young deity flew over and landed on top of the mountain and looked at the forest and used a Wood Release power to make it even larger and more majestic than before.
Megumi was doing some more training with Shadow Clones, she wanted to make her own complete Rasengan like her mother did and likely her brother.
Sasuke was unaware his older brother Itachi had infiltrated the village.
Satsuki was training with her mother Mikoto as they both had their Sharingan active. Satsuki sent a swift strong kick at her mother as she had with Guy's permission had begun learning some of the Goken from him after witnessing Lee's incredible fight with Gaara in the preliminary rounds with her Sharingan.
Mikoto blocked her kick very proud of her daughter's progress, Guy was thankfully very helpful and allowed her daughter to learn a bit of Goken ever since the Chunin Exams, not to mention that she was promoted to Chunin on her very first exam; just like her elder brother Itachi.
"I'm so proud of you Musume. You made it all the way through your first Chunin Exams and even were promoted." Mikoto said smiling proudly.
"Not just me Kaa-chan. Soshi-kun, Megumi, and Shikamaru were all promoted as well to Chunin." Satsuki said smiling back.
Then Mikoto stopped the training and glance behind her shoulder. "You know I can sense you there son come on out. Remember who taught you how to be stealthy in the first place."
A flock of several crows appeared flying down to her and Satsuki as they formed into Itachi as he looked to his mother and sister.
"Itachi-nii!" Satsuki exclaimed.
"Greetings Imouto." Itachi replied with a small smile.
"Itachi-kun is everything okay?" Mikoto asked her son.
"I just came to check on my family kaa-san, along with reminding Danzo of what I know." Itachi replied.
"That's nice son and don't worry. Those Otogakure nin stood no chance against me." Mikoto assured her eldest son.
"From what I heard kaa-san, Soshi-kun took pretty much the majority of the invading force out." Satsuki told her mother.
"Soshi-kun truly is a powerful young prodigy. I have a feeling even the rest of the Akatsuki have no chance to fight him even Leader-sama. As when Gato hired myself and Kisame for that mission to Nami no Kuni your team was on Imouto, Soshi-kun easily blocked Kisame's Samehada and it couldn't even absorb his chakra." Itachi said impressed.
"From what Kaguya-sama told me Itachi-nii, its because Soshi-kun's divine pure chakra cannot be absorbed by mortal means no matter what absorption method is tried." Satsuki replied.
Itachi nodded at his sister. "I'm guessing that Soshi-kun just did his first move against the Akatsuki. As the hideout in Kawa no kuni is obliterated and the country itself merely now just a giant crater on the outskirts of our country."
"I'm not surprised nii-chan. Soshi-kun mentioned that other than you, he plans to eliminate the whole group." Satsuki told her elder brother.
"There's another Uchiha besides us still alive as well kaa-san." Itachi informed his mother, surprising her.
"Really Itachi-kun? Who is it?" Mikoto asked her eldest child.
"Madara Uchiha." Itachi said shocking his mother and sister.
"Madara?! The very same Madara Uchiha who founded our village alongside the Shodaime?! The same traitor said to have been killed during his historic battle with the Shodaime?!" Mikoto exclaimed. "But how could it be really him Itachi-kun?! Even if Madara was alive, he'd be elderly even older than Sandaime-sama!"
"I don't know how Kaa-san. But I know one thing: he was the one who helped me carry out my mission to eliminate the rebels of our clan including father on that faithful night 5 years ago." Itachi replied surprising Mikoto.
"That masked man is not Madara." Said a voice as Itachi, Mikoto, and Satsuki looked up to see Soshi floating above them as he comes down and landed.
"Soshi-kun, you know who he is?" Itachi asked.
"Indeed Itachi-san. That masked Uchiha is actually the same individual who used the Kyuubi to attack the village 13 years ago on the night of my and my sisters' births after breaking it out of my grandmother Kushina Uzumaki's seal." Soshi said seriously shocking all 3 Uchiha.
"So that masked Uchiha is the reason why Kushi-chan and many others including her husband Minato-kun died that night." Mikoto said looking down saddened.
"Yes Mikoto-kaa, he is the reason why so many shinobi and civilians lost their lives that night." Soshi replied.
"Soshi-kun, how did you find out about him?" Itachi asked the young deity curious.
"The Kyuubi himself informed me. I visited Narumi's mindscape and spoke with him. My eyes being the predecessor of your own dojutsu can do all the same powers yours can." Soshi replied showing his Sharinnegan to them.
"Amazing, I can feel the powerful presence of your dojutsu Soshi-kun." Itachi said in awe amazed by the divine boy's powerful dojutsu.
"Wow it has 9 tomoe like your third eye now Soshi-kun." Satsuki said. "I remember it originally had 6 tomoe before the Chunin Exam finals."
"That's because kaa-chan gave me a new chakra fruit that she had been growing since my birth 13 years ago and that new fruit empowered me further." Soshi replied.
Satsuki nodded as Soshi then vanished in an oval shaped spiral leaving for now.
"Itachi...Uchiha!" said an angry voice as they all turned to see Sasuke standing there his 2 tomoe Sharingan active as he glared utterly hatefully at his brother. Sasuke had been coming out from the secret Uchiha meeting place and noticed his mother, sister, and Soshi along with his scum of a brother; but Soshi had vanished.
"Sasuke." Mikoto said stunned seeing her youngest here facing her eldest. She knew Sasuke had no chance against his elder brother even with that curse seal on him, Itachi was simply much too experienced and much more powerful, a natural genius prodigy.
"It's been a long time...Sasuke." Itachi said calmly but was inwardly disappointed knowing from the reports about how bad his little brother had been acting on his Genin team, refusing to accept the help of his own mother and sister, and acting out on missions and constantly picking fights with those he felt were 'beneath' him. 'You disappoint me Sasuke...You've been acting worse than I thought. The village really has ruined you for the worst I doubt even Tsukuyomi will fix you.'
"I did just as you said brother...I hated you ever since that night! I've lived my whole life for this day! To see you die! It ends here!" Sasuke then rushed at Itachi without even a plan. A bad choice against a true genius prodigy like his brother and Soshi. Sasuke went through handseals and inhaled. "Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique!" Sasuke sent a large fireball at his brother who was calm.
Itachi went through one handed handseals without Sasuke seeing. "Water Release: Water Encampment Wall." Itachi spat out a stream of water that turned into a large circular barrier around him easily blocking the fireball.
Sasuke snarled glaring at his brother as he rushed at Itachi and tried to attack him, but Itachi easily blocked his strike. The older Uchiha then kicked Sasuke sending him flying into a tree as he groaned and slides down to the ground. But Sasuke then got back up on his feet, his hatred and stubbornness keeping him running as he rushed at Itachi again only to receive a brutal beat-down (The very same taijutsu beatdown he got from Itachi in the Inn during the Search for Tsunade Arc in Canon).
Sasuke was in thought during the beat-down shocked that he was still much weaker than his brother. 'This can't be! I'm STILL not strong enough to fight him?! The gap between us...It hasn't shrunken at all since that night! If anything its widened! What am I even doing here?! I need even more power to kill him!'
Mikoto looked at her youngest son saddened knowing he won't listen to her or Satsuki. She knew her youngest child was likely a lost cause, Mikoto wanted to once believe Sasuke could be saved but she was wrong and she knew it. The bad reports of him were too much for her to handle anymore.
Satsuki watched her brothers fighting as Sasuke kept on trying to attack Itachi but he kept on easily blocking, countering, or dodging.
"Enough Sasuke." Itachi said now sternly glancing at Sasuke and trapping him in a regular Sharingan genjutsu not wanting to use his Mangekyou Tsukuyomi Genjutsu on him, having already used it on Kakashi earlier and was still a little exhausted from that.
Sasuke collapsed onto the ground unconscious.
"Kaa-san, if Sasuke is truly a lost cause which I sadly feel he is...Then cast him out from the clan. I don't want our clan's name being dragged in the mud by his actions." Itachi told his mother with sadness.
"Yes I will Itachi-kun." Mikoto said also sadly and hugging her eldest child as Satsuki also hugged her big brother.
"Itachi-nii? When will you come back home?" Satsuki asked.
"Not for a while Imouto. I still have my spying mission to do for Tsunade-sama and Jiraiya-sama. When the Akatsuki are likely destroyed then I can return home." Itachi informed his little sister and ruffled her long back hair. "Be strong for kaa-san and I Imouto okay? I know you are a talented young kunoichi just like kaa-san and even better than I was at your same age."
"Yes Itachi-nii." Satsuki said saddened her big brother was still in such a dangerous mission.
"See you later kaa-san, imouto." Itachi replied vanishing in a Crow Shunshin.
Sasuke was released from the genjutsu by Mikoto. "Itachi!" Sasuke yelled jumping up and looking around furiously, but not seeing his 'traitorous' brother anywhere. "Where is he?!"
"Itachi is gone already Sasuke." Mikoto said as Sasuke let out an angry hateful yell of frustration and stormed off. The Uchiha Matriarch sighed sadly knowing this would only drive her youngest further into his insanity, so she went to Tsunade's office to get Sasuke officially banished out of her clan so that they won't be connected to his bad performances anymore.
A bit later Satsuki meets Soshi in a training ground. "Soshi-kun? Can we spar? I want to see where I stand currently against you."
"Sure Satsuki-chan." Soshi said to her as he got in a stance activating his Sharinnegan.
Satsuki activated her Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan as they rushed each other and clashed. Later on, Satsuki was panting on one knee with several cuts and tears in her clothes, her normal obsidian eyes shown as Soshi stood barely even hurt at all, any visible wounds were quickly vanishing and soon healed due to his naturally very high regeneration.
"Very good Satsuki-chan, you are truly Indra's current reincarnation. You're the only one besides kaa-chan able land even a single hit on me never mind several hits, even while I'm holding back my true strength." Soshi replied with a small smile.
Satsuki blushed at his praise as Soshi comes over and puts one hand on her back as a green-blue aura forms around it and he heals all the wounds he caused. Satsuki also felt her chakra even being restored back up as well.
"Thanks Soshi-kun." Satsuki replied blushing pink.
"You're welcome. Now Satsuki-chan, can you take me over to the Naka Shrine? I want to study the Stone Tablet." Soshi asked.
Satsuki nodded and replied. "Yes I can Soshi-kun, since you possess the much stronger predecessor of our dojutsu." She took Soshi to the Naka Shrine as she activated her Sharingan and performed the necessary handsign snake as a large stone slab with the Sharingan in the middle wrapped with sealing formula lifted up revealing a set of stairs. The pair went down to the underground bunker and they soon came upon the stone tablet. Soshi looked at it with his Sharinnegan active and read everything that was on it: what his late elder half brother Hagoromo left about his history along with about their mother Kaguya, what Black Zetsu had changed about it, and what the infamous Madara had claimed to be on it.
"I see Black Zetsu really was planning on using your clan Indra's descendants as his puppets for kaa-chan's resurrection. That parasite really changed a lot on here and it even explains the misfortune of the Sharingan for most of your clan, likely Hagoromo left that information after what happened with your clan's forefather and his eldest son Indra." Soshi replied as Satsuki activated her EMS and could read almost all of it, just the last bits of it was looking scrambled.
"I'm guessing that I'll need the Rinnegan awakened to fully read it?" Satsuki asked as Soshi nodded and the pair then left the Naka Shrine.
Meanwhile later, Sasuke was launching several fire release jutsu in anger in an isolated training ground. "Damn it! Damn it! Damn it! Damn it! I need power! More power! Itachi is still far above my level right now! I'm not getting any stronger here in this wretched village!" Sasuke's hatred then caused his curse seal to glow and it struggled to break Mito's suppression seals but they were made by a fuinjutsu mistress for a reason. They held strong, no matter how much Sasuke's hatred flared.
"You need more true power don't you Sasuke?" Said a deep male voice as Sasuke looked seeing what looked like a swirl appearing before him. From the swirl, Sasuke saw a man with short spiky black hair, his face obscured by an orange mask with a swirl in it and a hole on the right side. The man wears a black long-sleeve top that covered his neck and chin, a pair of black gloves, a pair of dark-colored pants, a long green scarf and standard sandals and white stirrups. On his waist, he wears a thick black belt with armor-like metal plates attached to it, and similar plates on his upper arms. He had blue nail polish on his fingers and toes. He wears this outfit under his Akatsuki cloak.
Sasuke's eyes widened seeing a familiar red with three black tomoe eye peeking at him through the hole. "A Sharingan?! Are you...?"
"Yes Sasuke, I'm an Uchiha survivor just like you are." The man replied to Sasuke.
"Who are you?" Sasuke asked stunned to see a 5th Uchiha alive besides him and his family.
"I am Madara Uchiha." Madara replied.
"Madara Uchiha?! The same one who was the leader of the Uchiha clan during the Warring Era?! The very same Madara who could fight the Shodaime Hashirama Senju on equal terms and only lost due to the Shodaime using a Wood Clone?!" Sasuke said stunned.
"Indeed the very same." Madara replied looking at Sasuke. "Your mother is planning to banish you from the clan. She doesn't want you to get any power, the power that you a true Uchiha warrior deserves. Kakashi Hatake your own sensei taught your sister his own personal original jutsu called Chidori during the month reprieve before the finals of the Chunin Exams." Madara then went through several rapid handseals and formed a lightning ball in his upturned right hand. "This is Kakashi's one and only original jutsu the Chidori." He allowed it to dissipate.
Sasuke clenched his fists enraged seeing how strong that lightning jutsu looked. "I knew it! That soft bitch gives my slut of a sister everything! First father was always favoring Itachi, then mother favoring Satsuki, then my own Jonin-Sensei teaching her when he should've been teaching me...now mother is trying to banish me from my clan?! This whole damn village has done nothing but hold me back! They're nothing but constant interferences in my quest for power!" Sasuke's hatred flared up more as his curse seal flared again.
Madara smirked under his mask pleased with Sasuke's hatred. 'You thought you had me figured out Itachi? No I know you're a spy for Konohagakure. But you're useful until we gather enough Jinchuriki. If it wasn't for that new person Momoshiki giving us a brand new way to make the Juubi then my Tsuki No Me plan would be ruined.' The masked Uchiha then spoke up. "Sasuke. I can teach you Kakashi's jutsu and even undo those seals that the former Godaime Mito Uzumaki-Namikaze put on your curse seal. I studied about her clan's fuinjutsu after all."
"Do it! I must have power at all costs even if it means selling my soul to evil." Sasuke said in a partially insane tone as Madara's grin behind his mask grew more.
"Spoken like a true Uchiha as you wish." Madara replied as he used his Kamui to take Sasuke into his personal dimension as he begun training Sasuke teaching him Chidori and undoing Mito's two seals thanks to his own knowledge in her clan's fuinjutsu. Sasuke allowed the curse seal to cover him; his body became covered in the flame like tattoos without interference this time, as the youngest former Uchiha male began to laugh evilly.
"Sasuke. There's another level of that seal of yours." Madara informed Sasuke. "You are currently only in the first level of the curse seal. There's a second level that will grant you even more power."
"Tell me how to activate it!" Sasuke demanded his curse seal's purple aura flaring up in response to his demand.
"Unfortunately, only the one who gave you that seal the Snake Sannin Orochimaru knows how to activate the second level." Madara informed him.
"Then I'll go to him and get more power." Sasuke said as his curse seal retracted back into its three tomoe marking.
Madara chuckled as it was just as he knew would happen and he lets Sasuke out of his dimension.
Sasuke smirked as he felt the new fully unsealed evil power flowing through him. "Now I just need to find a way out of the village."
In Otokagure, Orochimaru was in pain as his now rotten arms were badly hurting having managed to slip away while Soshi had been busy dealing with Shukaku, being the slippery serpent he was. "Damn it! Damn that little brat!"
Kabuto said. "Orochimaru-sama, I can use the Edo Tensei to revive the Sound 4 members that Soshi killed."
"Do it! And send them to obtain Sasuke-kun!" Orochimaru replied to his second in command. "If Kimmaro-kun is healthy enough then let him go as well to help them. But bring Sasuke-kun here!"
Kabuto went to a large empty room and went through a couple of handseals and ended it by clapping his hands together. "Summoning: Edo Tensei!" 3 coffins with a music note on them rose up out of the floor and they opened to reveal Jirobo, Kidomaru, and Sakon/Ukon, they looked the same as they did when they were alive but their eyes had now gray sclera and cracks all across their bodies, an unavoidable side effect of the Edo Tensei. "Now then you 3. You are still useful pawns to Orochimaru-sama." The resurrected Otogakure ninja were ready for their orders.
"Orochimaru-sama wishes to have Sasuke-kun. Go to Konohagakure and retrieve him just be careful incase Soshi might find out as he has a strong dangerous power that could easily send you right back to the afterlife." Kabuto warned.
"Right Kabuto-sama." Jirobo said as he, Kidomaru, and Sakon all took off returning to Konohagakure.
Back in Konohagakure, Sasuke was doing a bit more training in his isolated training ground with the curse seal surrounding him. Sasuke launched a Chidori into a tree and destroyed its trunk as he panted and cursed. "Damn it...Even with Madara's brief training...I can only use Chidori 2 times right now without using my curse seal. I need even more training." Sasuke said cursing more.
"So you need power kid? Orochimaru-sama can help with that." Said a male voice as Sasuke turned to see three strange looking men standing behind him with cracks in their bodies and gray sclera in their eyes.
"I am Jirobo." Jirobo replied.
"My name is Kidomaru." Kidomaru said.
"And I am Sakon." Sakon said to him.
"We are the elites of Orochimaru-sama." Jirobo said to Sasuke.
"Good. I'll go to Orochimaru for more power go outside to the forest and wait I'll come along shortly." Sasuke replied as Jirobo nodded and he, Kidomaru, and Sakon all blurred away. Sasuke went to pack as he knew his sister was busy with her freak of a boyfriend and his so called mother likely got him banished from the clan already. Nothing is keeping him tied to the village. Sasuke then waited until night fell and then left the compound and headed out of the village. No one was out patrolling this part of the village tonight. Sasuke formerly Sasuke Uchiha had successfully left the village as the 3 Otogakure nin were waiting for him. They all kneeled and they didn't bother breaking Tayuya out of jail as Orochimaru considered her a traitor and useless since she surrendered to Konohagakure as all she was really good with was genjutsu and taijutsu.
"Sasuke-sama, we're ready to escort you to Otogakure." Sakon announced.
"Let's get out of here." Sasuke said as he looked coldly and hatefully at the village like he wished it to burn down to ashes. But Sasuke didn't notice the crow above watching him with fully matured Sharingan eyes as it then flew off into the village to inform its summoner.
Early the next day, Satsuki was cursing her younger twin brother for his actions having been informed by one of her crow summons last night. "Damn it. How could he be so stupid?! Orochimaru is only interested in him to use that body switching jutsu Hiruzen-sama mentioned about." She quickly got up and got dressed putting her clothes on including her Chunin flask jacket. "Kaa-san I'm going to the Hokage's office." She replied as her mother nodded and Satsuki went off.
When Satsuki got to Tsunade's office she informed the Rokudaime Hokage about what her crow had seen last night.
"I see so your younger twin brother really did abandon the village and not in the same way your elder brother did. Alright Satsuki Uchiha, I'll assign you an S ranked mission to retrieve Sasuke or if retrieval is not possible; then you are to eliminate him and destroy his eyes to prevent my serpent of a former teammate from getting them. You'll need a team of at least Genin to other Chunin. Many of our more experienced Jonin are out on missions including your primary Jonin sensei Mito Uzumaki-Namikaze." Tsunade replied to the Uchiha Heiress.
"Yes Tsunade-sama and where's Soshi-kun? I know his Byakugan and highly advanced sensory ability would be great for this type of mission." Satsuki asked looking around.
"Unfortunately Satsuki, Soshi-chan is currently on a different mission of his own right now." Tsunade informed. "When he finishes his mission, then I can send him as back up if necessary."
Satsuki nodded as she first visited and recruited Shikamaru Nara. She knew his genius brain would be perfect for a retrieval mission. Next Satsuki chose Megumi Uzumaki-Namikaze since she had Sage Mode and the Curse Seal was revealed to be a corrupted version of Senjutsu. Next since Soshi was currently absent on his own mission the only other Byakugan wielders available their age were either Neji or Hinata. Neji was chosen for the 4th member of the team, he had changed his attitude for the better since he lost to Megumi and being told the truth by his uncle behind his father's death and how he chose to die for the sake of his brother and family. Surprisingly Shikamaru recommended his best friend and teammate Choji Akimichi since despite his timid and friendly nature Choji was pretty strong in raw strength compared to most ninja of their age Soshi being an exception. Finally they wanted to bring Shino Aburame but Kiba informed them Shino was currently out on a mission with his father Shibi so he would take his place as his enhanced sense of smell would be a good asset to them. So the retrieval team were as followed: Satsuki Uchiha, Megumi Uzumaki-Namikaze, Shikamaru Nara, Neji Hyuga, Choji Akimichi, and finally Kiba Inuzuka and his nin-ken Akamaru.
Satsuki, Megumi, and Shikamaru being the only Chunin of the current group were the leaders. They met at the gate within an hour.
"Okay team this is an S ranked mission by Tsunade-sama. My younger twin brother Sasuke formerly Sasuke Uchiha was last seen leaving the village last night by one of my crows with three mysterious ninja." Satsuki informed them. "Likely he is going to Otogakure and Orochimaru for the chance of obtaining more power."
"Why would Sasuke do this Satsuki?" Kiba asked dumbfounded.
"Sasuke wants to obtain power in any way. You all remember or at least heard about what my elder brother Itachi did 5 years ago?" Satsuki asked the group.
"Troublesome but yeah. 5 years ago, Satsuki's older brother Itachi Uchiha was rumored to have single handedly wiped out their whole entire clan all in a single evening." Shikamaru said rubbing the back of his head.
"Yes its true. Itachi did wipe them out including our father leaving just me, Sasuke, and our mother alive." Satsuki replied. "Ever since that night, Sasuke has walked the dark path of hatred and vengeance...He wants to become strong enough to kill our brother at any cost to avenge our father and slain brethren." Satsuki said. "Its likely Sasuke felt like he wasn't getting any stronger fast enough in the village since Soshi-kun and I are the two number 1 prodigies of our current generation like Itachi was of his and Mito-sensei sealing off the curse seal he got from Orochimaru... Sasuke probably felt too weak and inferior to us and it caused him to realize Orochimaru might be able to make him stronger."
"So just as I was before, Sasuke is currently lost in the darkness." Neji replied.
"Yes but unlike you were Neji, I don't think Sasuke can be saved." Satsuki replied. "Which brings me to mention a second more likely outcome of this mission. Tsunade-sama said if we are unable to retrieve Sasuke for any reason to eliminate him and destroy his eyes." The rest of the team were stunned.
"Are you really okay with this Satsuki?" Kiba asked the Uchiha Princess. "Wiping out your own younger twin brother?"
"Yes Kiba, I will do the killing blow myself if it comes down to that. Orochimaru cannot be allowed to obtain my clan's eyes as it would make him even more dangerous than he already is." Satsuki said activating her Sharingan. "Sasuke and I were never really that close as siblings anyways. He always treated me more like an obstacle or stepping stone to compare himself to our big brother."
"Troublesome. Alright team let's all move out." Shikamaru said as they all agreed and took off.
Meanwhile Jirobo, Sakon, and Kidomaru had briefly stopped and gave Sasuke an awakening pill which would forcibly advance his Curse Seal to the second level. They each performed a sealing jutsu that sealed Sasuke in a barrel. Sakon's brother Ukon had to briefly separate from him to help out with that jutsu. Afterwards they continue on their way through the Konoha forest. They encountered two Konohagakure Jonin Genma Shiranui the proctor of the final exam and Raido Namiashi and the 3 Otogakure-nin had no choice but to use their curse seals at full power to fight them off.
Kiba smelled the blood from the fight as the team continued their tree leaping. "I smell blood and its Konoha-nin blood should we do something?"
"No. We have our own mission." Satsuki replied. "Let's focus on ours."
Kiba nodded as the retrieval team continued their way.
Jirobo, Kidomaru, and Sakon were all resting after defeating Genma and Raido using their 2nd level Curse Seal, Edo Tensei or not the curse seal still greatly effected their minds. Kidomaru had set up 'touch threads' all over the current area using his Spider Web Arena to detect and trap any enemies.
Satsuki narrowed her eyes having her Sharingan still active, just like her big brother Itachi could; Satsuki could keep her normal Sharingan active near-constantly with little to no drain on her chakra levels. And because she was the current Reincarnation of Indra and possesses the Eternal Mangekyou she can use her Mangekyou techniques without any strain to her eyes or any worries of blindness. "Shikamaru be careful, there's threads all over us powered with the enemy's chakra." Satsuki informed her team. "My Sharingan can still see chakra even if its not as strong as the Byakugan's sight, but unlike the Byakugan my dojutsu can see the colors of chakra; which means we can even see what elemental affinity or affinities are used by our foes."
Neji activated his Byakugan and confirmed what Satsuki said. "Satsuki is correct. The threads seem to be coming from a strange six armed man's fingers nearby. There is also a large barrel and I can't see inside it there's a fuinjutsu barrier on it blocking my view."
"Sasuke's definitely in it. My nose can smell his scent in there." Kiba replied to them.
Kidomaru felt a tug on one of his thread lines and smirked. "We know you're there." With a tug, he forced the 6 young shinobi out of hiding.
Megumi frowned at them. "So you're the bodyguards of Orochimaru?"
"Indeed we are Orochimaru-sama's most elite bodyguards the Sound Four." Sakon said smirking as he stood calmly up with Jirobo and Kidomaru.
Shikamaru then came out of hiding and used his Shadow Imitation Technique to stop the 3 Otogakure-nins' movements. "Shadow Imitation success." But then he was attacked from behind by someone and lost concentration releasing them.
"Nice try we know all about you and your little shadow tricks Nara." Kidomaru said smirking confidently. "So you're wanting Sasuke back right? Too bad we aren't giving him back without a fight."
Jirobo slammed his hands down on the ground after doing the snake handseal. "Earth Release Barrier: Earth Prison Dome of Magnificent Nothingness!" A large dome of earth release rose up around the retrieval team trapping them. "You won't be getting out of here kids. I'm going to drain you all dry." Jirobo said with his hands on the dome as chakra flowed into them.
"Don't take too long." Kidomaru said taking the barrel with Sasuke in it on his back and he and Sakon took off to continue their path towards their lord and master.
Megumi formed a Rasengan only to see it dissipating away. "Our chakra! This jutsu is draining it!"
Shikamaru knelt down getting in his thinking pose while Choji sat down and begun to eat his favorite chips to charge his chakra as for Akimichi eating is how they mostly recharge their chakra.
Satsuki was calm as she closed her eyes. "Don't worry Shikamaru, I'll get us out of this prison." She activated her EMS which glowed an eerie crimson in the darkness of the earth dome.
"Whoa what's with new look of your eyes Satsuki?" Kiba asked having stopped his attempt to use his Fang Passing Fang technique at the sight.
"This is the fully evolved form of my clan dojutsu called the Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan. These are unlocked by Uchiha who share blood swapping eyes. Only a couple of individuals of our clan including myself, my mother, and the late Madara Uchiha have ever awakened these legendary eyes." Satsuki replied as she was surrounded in a purple chakra aura and a half purple ribcage appeared around her along with a large purple skeletal arm which she launched forward at the dome in a powerful punch to destroy the entire structure easily in a single hit.
Jirobo was surprised seeing Satsuki surrounded in a purple chakra ribcage with a giant skeletal arm above her clenched in a punching motion showing what was used to destroy his earth dome. As her team were amazed standing beside her.
"Well you kids aren't so bad after all." Jirobo said.
"Satsuki. I'll take this big guy on." Choji replied as he stepped up glaring at Jirobo.
"Are you sure Choji?" Satsuki asked her EMS retracting back to her normal Sharingan eyes.
"Yeah I can handle him." Choji said as he holds a bag of food pills out to Shikamaru.
"Choji?" Shikamaru asked looking at his best friend and teammate and took the bag from him.
"I'll hold him off while you guys go and chase after Sasuke." Choji said. "Shika give everyone those if they need a boost. Don't worry in the worst case, I got my secret weapon." The Akimichi heir showed a pill box of three pills: a green pill, a yellow pill, and a red pill.
Shikamaru's eyes widened recognizing the three pills as his friend's clan's special dangerous Three Coloured Pills."Choji those are..." The Nara heir closed his mouth then nodded. "Okay Choji, you catch up to us as soon as you can okay?"
"You got it Shika." Choji promised his best friend as the other 5 all leapt away to continue their pursuit of the enemy.
"So you're gonna take me on?" Jirobo said tauntingly smirking at Choji.
Choji frowned at him. "Yeah! I promised my best friend!"
Jirobo laughed and then charged Choji who took the green pill to empower himself more. The two large strong individuals clashed fists.
Satsuki was leaping being in the front with Kiba, Neji, Shikamaru and Megumi. "So Shikamaru will Choji be okay?"
"Yeah Satsuki, Choji's kind but he is one of the strongest of us physically." Shikamaru replied. "I have full faith in him."
Kiba said. "Then let's make sure to leave a mark or something Choji can follow." They agreed and used one of their kunai each to carve some arrows and markings so Choji would know the way to go when he was finished fighting Jirobo. Afterwards they continued their pursuit of the remaining 2 enemy shinobi (A/N: Skipping most of the Sound 4 fights because Tayuya is in prison back at Konohagakure and every single Naruto fanfic retells these fights over and over and over and over again).
Kidomaru still holding the giant barrel was leaping with Sakon. "Sakon you think Jirobo has defeated them?"
"Not yet. I have a feeling he is taking his time with them." Sakon replied as he leapt along the trees.
Shikamaru had disguised himself as Jirobo to try to fool them as he appeared. "Sorry I'm late I was busy draining those kids' chakra." Shikamaru said in his best Jirobo impression which wasn't very good and didn't fool either of the enemy shinobi.
"You think we're fools?" Kidomaru asked as Sakon launched a kunai at Shikamaru, forcing him to undo his transformation disguise.
"Troublesome. You're too familiar from with your teammate." Shikamaru replied rubbing the back of his head.
"Spider Web Flower!" Kidomaru shouted and spat out a bunch of web nets out of his mouth at the retrieval team trying to trap them. Kidomaru had given Sakon the barrel with Sasuke in it and he took off on his own.
Neji got in front of them and used jyuken strikes effortlessly destroying the web nets. "It seems this enemy's techniques are vulnerable to the jyuken. I will handle him myself." The genius of the Hyuga clan told the others.
"Okay Neji. Be careful and catch up as fast as you can." Megumi said as Neji nodded facing Kidomaru.
Megumi, Shikamaru, Satsuki, and Kiba continued on chasing Sakon.
Sakon had to stop as he felt an odd feeling and a silhouetted person landing right beside him: The person was characterized by his pale skin, vivid green eyes, angular facial features, two scarlet dots on his forehead which all the members of his clan possessed, and shoulder-length white hair, which he wore divided down the middle on his head (distinguished by an atypical 'zigzag' hair parting) with two separate partings on either side of his face. He wore a specialized version of the traditional Oto-nin ensemble, consisting of a light lavender, loose-fitting, long-sleeved, zip-up shirt, black pants cut off around mid-calf, bandages wrapped around his ankles, traditional shinobi sandals, and a purple, rope-like belt tied in an inverted bow around his waist. He also wore two red, tube-like hair ornaments; one on either side of his head, securing two locks of his silvery-white hair. His Cursed Seal of Earth is applied at the base of his throat, where it is a circular pattern of three curved lines.
"K-Kimmaro-sama?!" Sakon exclaimed shocked to see his former leader Kimmaro Kaguya here considering he was supposed to be dying of a terminal illness. "What are you doing here?! Aren't you...?"
"Orochimaru-sama is getting impatient, even with you 3 fools resurrected by that jutsu so Kabuto-sama sent me to assist your mission." Kimmaro replied in a calm composed tone. "I'm using nothing but my willpower to move now. I feel closer to Orochimaru-sama's dream. Sakon, you kill them while I take Sasuke to Orochimaru-sama." The strongest Otogakure ninja under Orochimaru himself took the barrel and leapt away.
Sakon then released his first level of his curse seal as blotch like markings covered his body and rushed at the team as Kiba intercepted the attack with Akamaru.
Satsuki, Megumi, and Shikamaru continued at Kiba's insistance after Kimmaro.
Kimmaro saw the three coming after him. "Damn that Sakon. Even as an immortal undead summon he is trash." He then continued leaping away as Satsuki, Megumi, and Shikamaru chased him. Soon the 4 came upon a clearing in a large green meadow as Kimmaro calmly landed on the grass putting the barrel down as Satsuki, Megumi, and Shikamaru landed not too far from him.
"Impressive that you 3 followed me this far." Kimmaro replied as he undid his top. "But I will not allow you to stop me from bringing Orochimaru-sama his future vessel."
Satsuki glared at him with her Sharingan active.
Megumi goes into her Inital Jinchuriki mode clenching her claws.
Kimmaro's shoulder begun to protrude something white as what looked like his humerus bone emerged from his shoulder as he then grabbed the bone and pulled it out as it resembled a small sharp sword. "Dance of the Camellia."
"Did...Did he just pull one of his own bones out of his shoulder?!" Megumi exclaimed stunned.
Satsuki replied. "Soshi-kun has a similar albeit more lethal bone manipulation ability that he inherited from Kaguya-sama...So this Kimmaro must be the last survivor of the nearly extinct Kaguya Clan from Kirigakure who possessed that particular kekkei genkai."
"Soshi the boy who humiliated Orochimaru-sama during the attempted invasion?" Kimmaro asked unleashing a bit of killing intent at the girls. "I will make that boy suffer for what he did to Orochimaru-sama and if he has my clan's kekkei genkai then I'll make his suffering worse."
"Please. You are high Jonin level at best from what I can tell from your posture. Soshi-kun would destroy you with little effort, even with your curse seal backing you up. And you are obviously a descendant of Kaguya-sama, since her name is used as your very own clan name and you possess her ability to utilize your own skeletal structure in combat." Satsuki replied.
Kimmaro rushed at Satsuki and slashed with his bone blade only for a large purple sword to clash with it as Satsuki summoned her Susanoo's skeletal arm with a purple chakra blade held in its hand. The two skidded back as Satsuki went through a few fast handseals. "Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique!" She shoots a massive fireball from her mouth (Adult Boruto Sasuke fireball size) at Kimmaro who was just able to dodge it.
The barrel was smoking with a purple smoke to show that Sasuke was about to awaken from his near death coma.
Soshi was flying out of Konohagakure after returning from his mission prior, he was sent by Tsunade after he returned. "To think Sasuke actually went up and left. Though Satsuki-chan might not need assistance, I will still assist for her anyways." Soshi came across a now skinny and weak Choji being choked by Jirobo in his Curse seal level 2 form. When in Level 2 Cursed Seal form, his body would undergo a more dramatic change: his mohawk grew into a long spiky mane that reached his shoulders, his skin turned into brownish-reddish color, gains yellow eye irises and he had various warts all over his body — especially on his face, shoulders and forehead. In this state, his physical strength was increased ten-fold.
Jirobo was draining Choji's chakra. "Time to die trash!"
Choji was struggling as his medicine box was empty on the ground as he had used the Three Coloured Pills each to fight and overwhelm Jirobo. However because he lacked any real strong ninjutsu other than his secret clan jutsu. He was unable to completely destroy Edo Tensei Jirobo who regenerated from his Buttery Mode punch easily and turned the tables on him.
Soshi then creates a black rod and threw it like a javelin at Jirobo. The rod struck Jirobo in the back and out his stomach. Jirobo gasped and dropped an unconscious Choji.
"W-Who?" Jirobo looks back to see Soshi standing there. "You! You're the brat who killed us!"
"Indeed and it appears you were brought back to this world by Edo Tensei." Soshi said coldly and then used Ningendō to remove Jirobo's soul as his earthly remains turned to paper showing a dead Kirigakure ANBU. "Tch. Orochimaru is getting bold in using other village's ninja." He then summoned a giant bird: The bird itself is unusual, as not only does it demonstrate a prominent and jagged yellow-coloured beak, but it also features three distinct legs as well as wings and possesses the Sharinnegan. It also has one giant chakra receiver sticking through the right side of its back and another one sticking through the left side of its neck.
"You summoned me Soshi-denka?" The Drill-Beaked Bird asked in a very respectful and loyal tone.
"Yes take Choji back to the village for healing." Soshi replied floating up and putting Choji on the back of the giant bird.
"I will do it swiftly Soshi-denka." The bird replied flying back swiftly towards Konohagakure.
Soshi then flew over the forest with his Byakugan active seeing Neji fighting Kidomaru as Kidomaru had gone into his curse seal 2 state: when in his Level 2 form, his skin became dark red, he gains yellow irides, elongated canine teeth and fingernails, as well as his hair becomes longer and turns grey. In addition, Kidōmaru gains horns on his forehead, shoulders and elbows, and his mouth become wider, allowing him to create more refined weapons. Finally, the eye on his forehead that was usually closed and concealed under his forehead protector, opens and seemingly grants him greater accuracy in his attacks as well as what appears to be the ability to see chakra.
Kidomaru was aiming an arrow at a battered Neji and was about to fire when a rod struck him in the back out the front of his chest as he gasped. "W-What who did this?!"
"It would be me who did it." Soshi replied appearing before the shocked spider-themed ninja.
"Y-You!" Kidomaru exclaimed stunned and terrified.
"Yes me. You are supposed to be dead." Soshi replied ripping out Kidomaru's soul as his earthly remains revealed an unnamed Konohagakure Chunin. "Of course he wouldn't miss the chance to spite his former village." Soshi said in utterly dark disgust. Orochimaru to him was the worst example of humanity right after those who treat Jinchuriki and those different than them like trash, tools, or beasts. It reminded him of why his mother Kaguya had originally trapped the entire population in her Infinite Tsukuyomi a thousand years ago. Soshi sent Neji back to Konohagakure via one of his portals and let him out at the gates for Izumo and Kotetsu to take him to the hospital.
The Ōtsutsuki Prince flew further soon coming across Kiba and Akamaru facing against Sakon and his brother Ukon as they were split right now in their Curse Seal level 2 states: When in their Level 2 form, they resembled oni as their skin become red, gains yellow eye irises, and black curved markings appears from the corners of their eyes a upward fashion. Their fingernails becomes longer and sharp, lips turns black and their mouth is torn from ear to ear and gains canine teeth. They gain long, waist-length white hair, their chins elongated, and a single long horn grows on opposite sides for each brother's foreheads. Symmetrically on opposite sides of their bodies, their hardened skin turns black and folds like scales, appearing like spiky armor on their arms and legs.
Kiba and Akamaru were exhausted after using the Human Beast Combination Transformation: Double-Headed Wolf and Fang Wolf Fang Techniques on the brothers only for them to defend using the Rashomon gate.
"Well brat looks like that's it for you." Ukon said smirking evilly at Kiba as Sakon got ready to use their unique ability to merge with Kiba and force him to fatally wound himself and his puppy.
But then black rods stabbed them raising from the ground paralyzing them as Soshi appeared to their horror.
"Y-You! No it can't be!" Sakon called out.
"Damn you brat!" Ukon snarled.
"Orochimaru will be eventually dealt with, but for now its back to the afterlife for you two." Soshi said coldly removing their souls as their earthly remains recombined and showed a Sungakure Nin who had been captured was used as the vessel for the combined twins.
Soshi then summoned a giant dog: Its fur was all brown-colored and it had a giant black receiver stuck through its head. It also had black coloring around its mouth along with razor sharp teeth and fangs along with the Sharinnegan in its eyes.
"What is your command Soshi-denka?" The dog barked in a very submissive loyal tone to the young deity.
"I need you to take Kiba and his ninken back to Konohagakure for treatment." Soshi replied as the dog nodded and split itself into two smaller dogs as they each gently took Kiba and Akamaru putting them on their backs and running off.
Soshi could sense Satsuki's, Megumi's, and Shikamaru's chakra along with a strange opposing chakra that felt like a very very watered down version of his mother's. "I sense Satsuki-chan's chakra along with Shikamaru and Megumi's...Their opponent feels a bit like kaa-chan's but much watered down like the feeling I get from the Hyuga Clan since they are descendants of Hamura and also possess the Byakugan. I wonder if its another descendant? I'll need to go to them and see." The young deity kicked up the flight speed blasting off making a massive shockwave. Soshi saw three certain Sungakure genin heading in the same direction below him. "Well it seems Sunagakure wants to reestablish our alliance. Those three are the Sungakure siblings from the Chunin Exams and Konoha Crush." Soshi followed them and also then saw a green blur ahead. "Even Lee is being sent out."
Meanwhile Kimmaro had been fighting with an Initial Nine-Tailed empowered Megumi and Satsuki using her Sharingan and lightning release techniques. Shikamaru just sat back to watch knowing he wasn't really needed for this fight.
The barrel was emanating black smoke as it exploded as the combatants then watched as a figure was standing there as it clear to reveal a transformed Sasuke as he reverts to normal and studied his hands.
"Sasuke! You are to come back to Konohagakure or be eliminated to prevent your Sharingan from falling into the wrong hands." Satsuki said glaring at her idiotic arrogant twit of a younger twin brother.
Sasuke just then begun to laugh insanely and then ran ahead out of sight.
"Sasuke get back here!" Satsuki yelled annoyed that was it, she wasn't going to stand his actions anymore as she begun to run after Sasuke.
Kimmaro appeared beside her with his bone blade about to strike her. "Die."
"Satsuki!" Megumi yelled stunned to see her about to be skewered.
But then a green blur rushed in revealed to be Lee as he blocked the bone blade with his hands.
"Lee?" Satsuki said surprised to see him.
"Yes Satsuki-chan, I've come to help! You go after your brother while I handle this un-youthful enemy!" Lee said giving the thumbs up to Satsuki.
"Alright Lee. This guy has a kekkei genkai that allows him to use his own bones as weapons so be careful." Satsuki replied and ran after Sasuke.
Megumi nodded. "I'll stay here encase you need back up Lee."
"Thanks Megumi-chan!" Lee said as he begun to fight with Kimmaro.
Sasuke continued running as Satsuki chased her brother down until they wound up at a place with two huge statues of Madara Uchiha and Hashirama Senju each standing across from each other with their dominant hands raised up in a ram seal of Confrontation with a waterfall between them, this was the Valley of the End created by their last fierce battle.
"Sasuke are you going to stop running now?" Satsuki asked glaring as he then turned slowly to face her as she narrowed her eyes at him. The left side of his face had some of the flame like marks of the curse seal around it with that side's eye being yellow with a black sclera. Satsuki shook her head in disgust at him accepting that tainted senjutsu power. "You really are a hopeless cause just as I thought."
"Glad you came Satsuki...This time I'll kill you!" Sasuke declared in an insane tone.
"Sasuke I'm here to retrieve you and force you back to Konoha for judgement or to eliminate you." Satsuki replied. "So either come back or else."
Sasuke sneered. "Just try it you bitch! You...Ever since that day! You were always the favored one by our soft slut of a so called mother! I trained day in and day out to get the strength to kill Itachi! While you two did nothing to help me!"
"Sasuke you could've just asked to train with me." Satsuki said glaring more at her now insane brother for insulting her and their beloved mother Mikoto.
"Tch. I shouldn't have to ask you two! You should just do it out of obligations to your clan! To father!" Sasuke yelled at her.
"Father was an arrogant fool who would've only led our clan down to its full extinction!" Satsuki yelled back.
Sasuke then used a blur of speed to appear by Satsuki and sent a punch at her but a purple ribcage easily blocked his fist as his eyes widened seeing her evolved eyes. "Those eyes! The ones Itachi possesses! You have them too! No...They're different!"
Satsuki then grabbed Sasuke in the fist of her Susanoo's skeletal arm as she looked at him. "This isn't the normal Mangekyou Sharingan that our brother has Sasuke. This is the more advanced one: the Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan or EMS for short. Now since you refuse to return, I will switch to the elimination part of the mission from Tsunade-sama...Goodbye my traitorous foolish younger twin...Amaterasu!"
Sasuke screamed as black flames suddenly erupted right onto his body and he couldn't replace himself without the handsigns either as he didn't have the same advanced skill that Kakashi had shown with the Replacement Technique during his Genin test several months ago. The flames burned him to death then burned his corpse to ashes that also meant his eyes were gone as well.
Satsuki dismissed her flames then deactivated her EMS and dismissed her Susanoo. "It is done. Time to head back and gather the others and then return to Konohagakure to report a successful mission." She turned and headed back the way she came.
A swirl in a nearby place appeared to reveal the Masked Man who was seething. "Damn it! I didn't think she'd actually go and kill her own brother! I could've used Sasuke against that spy Itachi! And worse not only is Zetsu gone but Konan is acting rather suspiciously lately, I think I better go and rethink things and speak with Nagato." The man disappeared in another swirl.
Lee and Megumi were being overwhelmed by Kimmaro who's incredibly skillful taijutsu made it hard if not impossible for Megumi to gather the nature chakra for Sage Mode.
"It's time to end you." Kimmaro said and held his hands out aiming all ten of his fingers at them. "Ten Finger Drilling Bullets!" Kimmaro fired bones from his fingers.
Satsuki rushed forming her Susanoo ribcage and using a Lightning release Body flicker to rapidly appear in front of Lee and Megumi blocking the bone projectiles. "You're talented Kimmaro-san, its just too bad you work for such a slimy snake."
"Don't you insult Orochimaru-sama!" Kimmaro yelled losing his composure a bit as his curse seal glowed and an eerie rip like pattern begun to spread on his body. Kimmaro then fired more bone bullets as Satsuki kept her Susanoo ribcage active as it blocks the projectiles.
Soshi was levitating in the sky nearby watching to see how Satsuki was handling herself. "So that's the one with the watered down version of kaa-chan's chakra and he possesses the skeletal manipulation bloodline of the Kaguya Clan so that confirms it...That clan is also descended from kaa-chan through Hamura just like the Hyuga Clan. Looks like Satsuki-chan is handling things pretty well. But I think it is about to wrap things up."
Sand blocked kimmaro's next attempt at attacking the two girls and one boy. Satsuki, Megumi, and Lee were stunned seeing it.
"Sand?" Satsuki questioned.
"Could it be?" Megumi stated as a sand swirl appeared nearby and before them stood Gaara the Sunagakure Jinchuriki with his arms crossed and sporting a new red longer sleeved version of his previous outfit.
"Gaara of the Desert?" Lee questioned surprised to see his old opponent from the Chunin Exam Preliminaries here.
"Our village sent us to assist you in dealing with Orochimaru's soldiers." Gaara said. "As a sign of our regained alliance."
Satsuki nodded as she stepped up and looked at Kimmaro.
"Gaara of the Desert huh?" Kimmaro said with spiky bones protruding from his arms and chest. "I recognize you so you're with Konohagakure now." Kimmaro fired more bone bullets out of his fingers.
Gaara's sand shield easily blocked them as Gaara then sent his sand at Kimmaro as it wrapped around him. "Sand Binding Coffin." Then he clenched his fist. "Sand Waterfall Funeral!" The sand imploded and that usually meant the end of whoever was caught in the technique, unless they had some unique powers to withstand it like Megumi and Satsuki.
But then to the Konoha trio's shock. Kimmaro emerged from the sand basically unharmed though parts of his skin were missing with white mass of bone showing in those spots and his curse seal level 1 fully active as a pattern of parallel and contorted black lines all over his body. "You're indeed powerful if not for my kekkei genkai or Orochimaru-sama's power I would be dead."
Gaara frowned as Kimmaro rushed and tried to stab Gaara with his bone sword only for his sand to block his stab, but Kimmaro came unbelievably close to him.
"I believe this battle has gone on long enough." Said a voice as Gaara saw Soshi flying in and landed before them.
"Gaara of the Desert. We meet again." Soshi replied.
"Indeed we do Soshi Otsutsuki." Gaara said surprised.
"Soshi-kun!" Satsuki exclaimed happy to see him.
"Nii-chan?" Megumi said surprised.
"I will handle this Kimmaro person." Soshi said as his own bones poked out of his skin.
"So you do have my clan's kekkei genkai." Kimmaro replied.
"No it is more your clan possesses a fraction of my kaa-chan's abilities." Soshi replied forming two bone pikes out of his palms.
"You will pay for the pain you caused Orochimaru-sama." Kimmaro said releasing his KI and drawing another bone sword from his shoulder, but Soshi wasn't even fazed by it at all.
"Then show me your resolve Kimmaro Kaguya." Soshi replied as Kimmaro and him rushed at each other and clashd bone blades with Soshi easily holding the upper hand as he kicked Kimmaro in the midsection sending him flying even with his ribs coming out as a like a shield it wasn't enough to fully prevent him from flying away.
Kimmaro was shocked. 'This can't be! Even with my ribs out as a shield this boy still sent me flying!'
Soshi then appeared and delivered a powerful downwards kick to Kimmaro sending him hurtling down onto the ground. "Now what would be the best move to end you? Oh I believe it would be this one." Soshi said raising a hand up forming a black orb in his hand. "Satsuki-chan get the others out of here now."
"You got it Soshi-kun." Satsuki said activating her EMS and her Full Body Susanoo which grabbed Megumi, Lee, and Shikamaru and put them in its head along with her floating in it. "Gaara can you fly in some way?" She asked already up in the sky with her Susanoo's Wings.
"Yes." Gaara replied gathering sand to form a cloud beneath him and using it to float up into the sky.
"Soshi-kun's about to use a very strong technique that only users with his similar dojutsu can utilize." Satsuki explained. "It has a very big radius too so we need to make sure to stay here in the sky."
Soshi sent the black orb into the sky as it then gathered debris around the forest forming a giant rocky satellite. Soshi then brought his hand down as the satellite turned flamed and comes plummeting down on Kimmaro. The satellite hits and exploded immense making a huge mushroom cloud like smoke.
Gaara was stunned. "Is this...the power of a God?"
Satsuki nodded. "Yes Soshi-kun has immense power that no shinobi could ever comprehend."
Soshi then floated over to them. "It is done we can return to the village. My summons have already got your siblings and are bringing them Gaara."
Gaara nodded in thanks as he had gotten closer to his siblings since the Chunin Exams and failed invasion. Thanks to Narumi, Gaara was a whole new young man.
Satsuki smiled as they started back towards Konohagakure.
Okay the Sasuke Retrieval/Elimination Arc is done next chapter comes the 2 year time skip and Nagato's attempts to start hunting the Jinchuriki.
