SETI Institute, Mountain View, California

Ryan Harrisson was a simple intern at the SETI(Search for extraterrestrial intelligence) Institute as Undergraduate at the University of Berkeley. Working at the Institute even as an intern for now was a dream come true.

Ryan as a child always wanted to be in space, unfortunately he was born with deformed legs which had to be amputated at birth. So he thought the next best thing would be to monitor the universe for intelligent life so SETI was his best bet.

"Is the reason why we haven't found any intelligent life is because our tech is too weak?" Ryan wondered. Ryan sitting in his wheelchair was drinking his 3rd coffee in the control room. Things were quiet other than the occasional sound of people typing on their computers.

Ryan loved his job for his 4 months being there, even though he knew it was a miniscule of a chance for him to be the one to get the signal that comes from 'the one' but for whatever reason God, Buddha, or maybe Zeus looked down at Ryan and said "You got it."

Then like magic a signal was going haywire, a signal that no one has ever heard before, a signal that even the Wow signal couldn't compare to. "Holy shit… is this real!?" Ryan nearly screamed. He couldn't believe it, a signal this strong, a signal this clear. Ryan could only think of why it was this strong. The signal was coming from the system itself.

On the Orbit of Saturn by Titan

The Resolute and its fleet, has finally entered out of hyperspace and ended up by a Moon that Orbited a Gas giant with Rings very thick and big, bigger than Anakin has ever seen.

"So is this moon Earth that these humans call it?" Anakin asked, a clone responded " No sir, Earth is further up ahead, this moon is called Titan and the Giant next to us is called Saturn." Anakin asked again " Do you know why they called this Moon and Planet 'Titan' and 'Saturn'?" The clone responded again " Well after doing some digging in what they call the 'internet' Saturn was an ancient god of theirs and he represented farming, abundance, and peace. Titan is based on a race of giants that are immortal in their mythology.

"Ah, so is the race… are we meeting religious fanatics?" The knight asked "No…well a very small number are fanatic but nothing concerning, the planet is very diverse in their religions but the main 3 are just off-shoots of one another." Anakin had one more question " What about their technological capabilities?" The clone answered again "Well it seems that the technology has improved considerably from the voyager we acquired. They have a very early space station orbiting around the planet and they also seem to have a small base on their moon.

"So they seem to have improved a lot over the years. Although I see that the tech they have improved they still have not been able to go outside their system, other than the voyager." Anakin observed. "Well make sure to contact them and I will let them know that we come in peace and if they ask why they came here I will tell them that we found a voyager looking for people like us." Anakin ordered while smiling. "Yes sir"

Ryan was to say the least freaked out and excited at the same time. He couldn't believe that aliens existed… well he did but he just didn't believe that they would show up during his lifetime. When they sent the signal to the other places around America, the observatories were working overtime and when they sent back the data, their wonder turned into truth, the observatories sent back a picture.

The picture contained what looked like to be a ship, a large one where it looked like it could hold thousands of human sized aliens, if not more. But what scared a look of people is that the ship looked like it had guns and cannons all over the ship. Ryan thought " Crap did we just give our location to slavers or space Nazis?" Ryans mind was racing through all the possibilities as to what kind of aliens they were and why they came. Until another signal went through.

This time it was a different signal. Like it was a transmission signal. "They want to talk? Do they speak the same as us or have a translator?" Ryan was nearly hyperventilating at the suddenness of the situation.

One of the workers opened the transmission and said " Hello 'Humans' my name is Anakin Skywalker. I do realize that this must be an uncertain situation due to us coming out of nowhere suddenly, but I can assure you that we are a peaceful nation of peace and prosperity. I come from the Galactic Republic, and how we found you is that during a patrol a wormhole opened up and what came out was this satellite."

Ryan and everyone else around him was confused because the alien talked like they could see what satellite they had. Ryan assumed that they had hologram technology that was able for them to see it. Clear we did not have that tech yet.

The voice continued " We have found your golden disk and have solved your puzzles on said disk, this is how we found you. Please respond or we will have a dropship coming to Earth." Everyone was shocked. Ryan was confused about this whole thing. "This republic claimed to be about peace but in the end they added a threat that if we do not respond within 24 hours they will invade? We have to get this to the President ASAP!" Ryan thought.

Unbeknownst to them the CIS has obtained the other Voyger and are heading to Earth in 2 days. What will the Republic and the people of Earth do?
