Chapter 1:

"Ugh, what hit me?"

All Might put his hand on Izuku's shoulder, "Don't you remember the spider bite?"

Izuku shot up at full force, causing All Might to use a fair amount of his strength to keep the boy down, unknown to him himself, "All Might, Sir!"

All Might shook his head and chuckled, "Always so excitable, Young Midoriya."

Izuku scratched the back of his neck, "Sorry, sir."

All Might smiled his dazzling smile and poofed down to his more skeletal form, "It is quite alright, Young Midoriya."

Izuku looked around and then turned to All Might, "Where are we?"

All Might sighed, "We are in the UA infirmary."

Izuku gasped and he almost started freaking out about that, but there was a more important matter to consider, "Why am I here instead the hospital?"

A calm and high pitched voice spoke up from Izuku's other side, "Because you, a young quirkless boy, currently has hands that are sparking with green electrical sparks."

Izuku turned to the side and saw the infamous principle of UA, Nezu the hyper-intelligent rat-bear thing, holding a container with the small black and gold spider that bit him inside, "What?

All Might pointed at Izuku's hands, "Look."

Izuku's eyes widened upon looking at his hands because every once in a while what looked like a small green electric shock danced between his fingers, "Ahhh!"

The shocks cut off and All Might sighed at the questioning look thrown his way, "I brought you here after the spider bit you because, after I had captured it, the stupid thing turned invisible while I was holding it. The hospital had likely never dealt with a Quirked spider before, and the hand the spider bit, beyond just being all swelled up, was also starting to flicker with invisibility. The rest of your body was slowly starting to do the same. You were more than half-bloated by the time I got you here, and the shocks started by the time we got you into this bed."

Izuku shook a little bit, "How am I not dead?"

Nezu took over the explanation, "For whatever reason that spider had four quirks; invisibility, bio-electricity, an extended lifespan, and a healing factor. It also had an unidentifiable mutagenic drug running through its system. That drug and its genetic material including its quirks were passed on to you alongside its venom, which was actually a very intriguing soup of different compounds that would ordinarily ensure death to the one the one bitten by it.

"Your body was swelling up because of the toxins and your DNA being mutated. Our preliminary findings have found that your body does not contain many of the normal signs of having a quirk, but your body has been irreversibly changed. Your bones are now infused with the exo-skeletal proteins of a spider. Your muscles and tendons are also similarly blended. Your skin, hair, and the walls of your internal organs on the other hand have been infused with the proteins that make up spider silk. The end result is strength and durability comparable to the spider that bit you, proportionally speaking. Your blood is also now perpetually filled with that spider's toxins. You also have the same four extra powers that the spider did, but they aren't registering in exactly the same way that quirks do."

Izuku blinked, "That is just..."

All Might nodded, "Insane but not unheard of."

Izuku turned to him in confusion, "Wait, what?"

Nezu nodded, "Not many know this, but the Supervillain Rhino was originally just small time thug Alex O'Hirn who was rare in that he possessed a pair of quirks; super strength and incredible durability. He somehow managed to get himself augmented using the DNA of a rare Rhinoceros that had a minor enlargement quirk. The man is basically a juggernaut now that only the absolute top Heroes or unique ones like Midnight can win against."

Izuku blinked, "Oh? How would that even work? I mean human and rhinoceros DNA are..."

All Might rolled his eyes and went to smack Izuku in the back of the head to snap him out of the new mumble-fest as he pondered over the semantics of how that worked. However something new had been added. What felt like a little vibration at the base of his head where it connected to his neck went off and he ducked on instinct, avoiding the swipe and then leaping onto the wall so that he hung on it upside down with his hands and feet somehow attached to the wall.

He stared at them with wide eyes, "Did I just do that?"

Nezu nodded, "It seems we can add a danger sense, enhanced reflexes, and wall crawling to the list of your abilities. Do you mind if I indulge my curiosity and turn off the lights?"

Izuku shook his head as he fell off the wall and back onto the bed, "Ah-oof!"

All Might and Nezu chuckled as the latter went and turned off the light and then turned towards the bed, "What do you see, Izuku Midoriya?"

Izuku blinked, "Everything. Almost like the light is still on, but I doubt I would be able to if it was pure darkness."

Nezu nodded and turned off the lights, "Night vision is a yes, now how about the rest of your senses, are they similarly enhanced?"

Izuku nodded, "Now that you mention it... Yeah, I think they are?"

Nezu nodded, "I figured as much from looking at the data on your body scans."

Izuku sighed, "How long have I been asleep?"

All Might winced, "Four hours. It is almost night time."

Izuku's eyes widened, "What about mom? She is going to be so worried..."

All Might laid his hand on Izuku's shoulder, "Calm down, Young Midoriya. I used your phone to call your mother and let her know I will bring you home and explain everything."

Izuku gave him a wide-eyed stare, "E-ever-ry-thing?"

All Might nodded, "Everything. We both owe her the truth, Young Midoriya."

Izuku nodded somewhat apprehensively, "Okay..."

All Might smiled, "Go outside the door and wait for me, I will be outside in a moment."

Izuku nodded and walked outside, and after the door shut Nezu turned to All Might, "He will be a powerful hero, maybe even the most powerful and versatile one outside of whomever it is you will choose to pass your power on to."

All Might knew Nezu had already figured out his plan, "It won't work for him?"

Nezu shook his head, "Before it was a problem of his body being too weak."

All Might nodded even though it wasn't a question, "Yeah, I would rather my successors extremities didn't explode from his body being too weak to handle it."

Nezu sighed and steepled his paws, "It is the opposite problem now. His body is too strong for One-for-All. Even if it did work he would never be able to control his strength and in his hands it could potentially cause natural disasters."

All Might winced, "Yeah. Maybe I will have to go with Mirai's choice."

Nezu nodded, "Mirio Togata is an excellent young man who will become a fine young hero."

All Might sighed, "I know, it is just..."

Nezu smiled, "He is too similar to you and you know how that will probably end, especially considering what that spider might mean."

All Might nodded, "Even for a human, naturally having two quirks is impressive and 3 is unheard of to the point that you are more likely to win the largest lottery twice and get struck by lightning while being attacked by a shark right after."

Nezu chuckled, "It isn't quite that rare, but having four quirks even after experimentation is unheard of except for the likes of your old nemesis All-for-One."

All Might nodded, "Indeed. Maybe an intangibility quirk will be what is necessary to level that playing field once and for all without him ending up injured."

Nezu nodded and waved at the door, "Will you still continue to train Midoriya regardless?"

All Might nodded, "He is too strong and has too good a heart for me not to."

Nezu smiled, "Make sure he knows that. He is probably worried about the possibility that you will abandon him for someone else now that he has powers."

All Might blinked, "I didn't even think of that. Thank you, Nezu."

Nezu chuckled, "Go get the young man home, and I will await his reappearance at the entrance exam."

All Might stood up, "Of course, Principle Nezu."

Nezu smirked, "You could always get him in on a recommendation."

All Might smiled, "I already know he wouldn't accept that path, goodbye Principle Nezu."

Nezu smiled as All Might opened the door, "And once you have a moment, there is something else I would like to talk to you about."

All Might nodded, "Of course. Come with me Young Midoriya, and we will see what you can do on your way home."

Izuku's eyes widened, "But All Might, that would be an illegal use of a quirk."

All Might chuckled and shook his head, "On the contrary, Young Midoriya, you have no quirk and instead fall into a different class of society that laws have yet to be written up for. So using your powers in broad daylight as long you do not use them to commit a crime is not against the law."

Izuku blinked, "Oh... I didn't think of that."

All Might nodded as he maneuvered them towards the hall that led outside, "It is a little known loophole in the system, and it only exists because the few... well... one of the terms that has been proposed is cross-species... that exist are supervillains that experimented on themselves and as such they are already committing crimes, and at that point quirk use is irrelevant."

Izuku nodded as he followed All Might into the new hallway, "What about tech villains?"

All Might grimaced, "The other kind of newish supervillain. As quirks came into existence a lot of tech companies swapped over to helping support those who fought crime. Support equipment has generally aided people with quirks, making up for their quirks' deficiencies."

All Might opened the door heading outside, "We didn't even realize how far technology had come until we started encountering some villains who were using technology that could simulate quirks in the place of quirks."

Izuku's eyes widened in an alarm that had nothing to do with the massive gates they were now heading towards, "Do any of the support companies...?"

All Might winced, "There is no villain support that can be proved. It is usually either, 'I was robbed,' or 'They must have used my parts to make their tech, cause I sure as heck didn't make it for them.'"

Izuku grimaced, "Yikes, is that the reason why UA, generally speaking, only deals with David Shield in America and uses its own Developmental Studios?"

All Might nodded, "But enough about that unpleasant topic. Let us see what you can do, and in case you are wondering your house is in that direction."

Izuku's eyes widened, "Right now?"

All Might sighed, "No, when you are in school here... GET A MOVE ON, YOUNG MIDORIYA. I WILL BE RIGHT BEHIND YOU!"

With the powerful shout accompanied by All Might's return to muscle form, Izuku took off running, "Wahhh!"

All Might blinked and then took off after him on the highspeed chase, "A respectable 0 to 100 in a single second and his speed until he has to jump is leveling out around 200 mph. His jumping power is also nothing to sneeze at. Strained himself on that first jump a little bit and reached about a hundred feet in the air. He slows down quite a bit when switching over to wall crawling, but that danger sense of his seems to be helping him in finding the path of least resistance and helping to compensate a bit for his natural timidity. New powers and no training with them and it already looks like he has had them for years. Kid is going to be an absolute beast for criminals to deal with in a few years."

All Might leapt behind him when he noticed a hero start to veer their direction and shouted, "GOOD JOB YOUNG MIDORIYA, NOW HEAD FOR THE ROOF TOPS SO WE CAN SEE WHAT YOU CAN REALLY DO!"

Izuku shakily nodded back, "Yes, sir!"

All Might smiled internally despite the pain when the hero smiled and veered off course, "Good he is going away... this will probably end up sparking rumors though... joy."

These thoughts were unknown to Izuku who was simultaneously terrified and having the time of his life. Leaping from roof top to roof top at high speed and sometimes having to crawl onto a roof was exhilarating. Having All Might behind him cheering him on while using powers that were technically his own was like a dream come true. It helped that his danger sense seemed to also include the spiders instincts, if it wasn't in fact actually made of them in the first place, because it seemed to him that he never made a misstep despite the highspeed "chase."

After quite a few minutes of this All Might called out, "YOUNG MIDORIYA! WE ARE ALMOST TO YOUR HOUSE! LET US STOP HERE AND WE CAN WALK THE REST OF THE WAY!"

Izuku nodded and dropped to the ground breathing hard, "Thanks... All... Might."

A puff of smoke later and All Might was standing there chuckling in his skinny form, "What is the matter, Young Midoriya? You look like you have run a marathon on a rollercoaster track."

Izuku was shaking, tears at the corners of his eyes, "That was terrifying!"

All Might grinned, "And?"

Izuku grinned back, "So awesome."

All Might went to laugh but what came out instead was a small spray of blood as the pain in his side flared up, "Blegh... Sorry about that, but indeed. There is however a problem that I hope you are thinking about with your new powers, and it is best you realize it now rather than later."

Izuku thought for a second, "The super-strength."

All Might nodded, "Your strength is comparable to that super-spider's and that thing was capable of "bench pressing" roughly 300 times its own weight. How much do you weigh?"

Izuku blinked, "58 Kilograms."

All Might nodded, "Multiplied by 300."

Izuku quickly ran the calculations through his head and his jaw dropped, "17,400 Kilograms."

All Might nodded seriously, "Roughly speaking, but imagine how much damage that could do to someone unless they either have a quirk that enhances their durability or you treat them like they are made of glass." Considering Izuku's face started to turn the same color as his hair All Might knew he got the picture, "I have the same problem which is why I tend to rely more on the air pressure of my attacks, but you may not have that luxury. I am warning you now in case you wanted to tightly hug your mother the moment you see her, but it is something you need to think about for your future career as a hero, unless you want to end up like Endeavor. Because despite the guy's strength he has issues with control. In fact his most famous super move that can turn night into day with its brilliance is him voluntarily loosing control of his powers to the point of it being dangerous even to himself."

Izuku shivered at the images his mind was conjuring up, "Thanks, All Might."

All Might chuckled, "That will be some of the exercises we will do with the remaining trash on that beach, helping you learn to control your strength."

Izuku started walking towards his house, "What if I do something similar to the Underground Hero: Eraser Head? I heard he uses a really high strength capture tape scarf thing."

All Might chuckled, "You really do know your heroes, and yes something similar to that should work."

All Might shook his head as that started off a new round of mumblings that showed to him that Izuku was considering the problem, "What... capturing? Maybe... deployable... but how? Maybe... spider themed... webbing..."

All Might muscled up once they were outside Izuku's house, "YOU CAN CONTEMPLATE IT MORE TONIGHT AFTER OUR TALK WITH YOUR MOTHER!"

Izuku sighed and nodded as he got to the door, "Alright."

Mrs. Midoriya stared at the man filling the now opened doorway tears in her red and puffy eyes, "Izuku, is that really...?"

Izuku nodded, "Yup, that is All Might, and guess what, I have powers now."

THUD!

All Might glanced at the door, "At least she didn't notice that you bent the handle."
