Hikari is not the usual run of the mill stiff and traditional Hyuuga. How will the ninja world react to a Hyuuga that uses genjustu, kenjustu, ninjutsu, poison, and sniping techniques with thrown weapons?

4. Chapter Four: Chunin Exams Part One

Naruto: Rebirth of the Hyuuga Clan: Chapter Four: Chunin Exams Part One.

Two Days Later: The Hyuuga Clan Compound; Brach Family Head's House.

Hikari was ready to start the next stage of his plan, and for that, she needed an alliance with the branch family. Hikari went up to the two bodyguards at the door.

Hikari bowed "I wish for an audience with Lord Hisho."

The bodyguard on the left nodded "Of course Ms. Hikari. After your humbling of the elders, I am sure he would be honored to hold such a meeting."

20 Minutes Later: Hishio's Dinner Table

Lord Hishio "Welcome Ms. Hikari to my home, would you care for some tea?"

Hikari nodded "Yes I would Lord Hishio."

Lord Hishio "Please just call me Hishio, you have gained my utmost respect."

Hikari "Of course Hishio."

Lord Hishio called over a servant to get some tea. "Now Ms. Hikari, what would you like to speak with me about?"

Hikari took a seal out of her pocket and placed it on the table. "This is my chakra frequency disruptor seal. It has the ability to block the chakra frequency that activates the caged bird seal if it's applied on top of it."

Hishio looked at the seal with wide eyes full of want. "And what do you want in exchange for this generous gift?"

Hikari "What I want in exchange is fourfold. I want the caged bird seal to be never used again, I want to be able to teach new young Hyuuga how to live up to their full potential as I am striving for, I want the Hyuuga Clan to be one, no more main family and no more branch family, and I want you to help me overthrow the main family with little to no bloodshed. We don't need any more separation and resentment in this family of ours than there already is."

Hishio could easily agree to these terms. "I agree to your terms, Hikari. For the glory of the Hyuuga Clan." he reached out shook her hand.

Hikari "For the glory of the Hyuuga Clan."

The Hokage Tower: The Hokage's Office.

Hurizen Sarutobi was looking into his crystal ball watching Hikari "She's like a strange reflection of Itachi." He mused "A kind and compassionate prodigy that sometimes walks in the darkness while still seeing the light.

Like Itachi, Hikari had become disillusioned with their clan and decided to act against them. Only in this situation, Hikari's on the side of the coup d'etat and it's against their own clan's leadership instead of the leaf village's…"

Two Weeks Later the coup d'etat would occur. This coup would be mostly bloodless with only a few casualties on the main family side. As a symbol of reconciliation by Hiashi, Neji Hyuuga would be named the heir to the entire Hyuuga Clan as the two separate families were dissolved.

One week after the coup.

Hikari was busy working on a new seal late at night in her 'playplace' after training with Anko, Kakashi, or teaching her new Hyuuga students during the day. Luckily she had lots and lots of tea. Thank you universe for kami's gift of caffeine!

Anko "So this is the 'playplace' you've been retreating to whenever we're not training, teaching, or on a mission. Huh, I haven't been here in quite a long time. I like what you've done with the place. It's definitely homier."

Hikari "Pretty nice for a former lab of Orochimaru's is it not? I can assure you it was far, far worse when I first discovered this place."

Anko "I do not doubt that, I've been here when it was in that state. So, what are you doing?"

Hikari pointed towards her sealing table "I'm currently working on the design for a chakra siphoning seal. I want to be able to touch an enemy and rapidly drain their chakra to refuel my own chakra storage seals or my body's chakra reserves directly."

Anko "I'm not that knowledgeable on sealing but I assume chakra storage seals store chakra to use later?"

Hikari nodded "Yeah, I use them to refill my reserves when I'm low on chakra. I currently have twelve seals equal to my total chakra capacity filled at any given time."

Anko "And how would you go about filling those?"

Hikari "Just constant light chakra drain on my system. In case you're wondering, they have safety precautions to automatically activate if I'm nearing chakra exhaustion and to cease all drain if all the seals are empty and I am suffering from chakra exhaustion."

Anko "So how's your progress with adding your water element to the Rasengan?"

Hikari "Very very slowly. I know what I want it to do but I can't quite figure out how to go about it yet."

Anko "And what do you want it to do?"

Hikari "I want it to draw in and massively compress anything it touches. Once I get that down, I can easily increase its lethality by spiking the water used in the jutsu."

Anko "And your secondary lightning affinity?"

Hikari "Still can't continuously power the lightbulb yet. I'm getting there though."

Anko "Well, I just want to let you know that the Chunin exams are coming up two months from now and I want to teach you something that will really impress the crowds."

Hikari gasped as her face lit up with hope "You don't mean…"

Anko smiled and pulled a scroll off her back and opened it "Yes, I believe you are ready to sign the snake summoning contract!"

Hikari jumped up and hugged her "Thanks so much Anko!"

Anko smiled at her apprentice "You deserve it and you know it. Now let's have you sign it right here. After that, we'll go a bit outside the village to actually start summoning practice!"

Hikari pulled out a senbon from her belt and pricked her pointer finger. She then signed her name in blood before using the mystical palm technique to heal herself.

Anko "Alright! Let's go!"

20 Minutes Later, 25 miles away from the hidden leaf village.

Anko "Alright, Let's get started!"

Hikari bit her thumb then went through the proper hand signs 'Summoning Jutsu!'

With a large puff of smoke, she found herself on the head of a massive white cobra.

Sadro "Who summons me?!"

Hikari looked down at the snake "I do, are you the snake boss?"

Sadro "Yes I am Sadro, the eldest son of the white snake sage and the boss of the snakes, who are you potential summoner?"

Hikari "I'm Hikari Hyuuga, I'm the apprentice of Anko Mitarashi."

Sadro then looked down over to Anko who nodded in affirmation.

Sadro "Why do you want our power?"

Hikari "I want access to your great poisons to use in my water ninjutsu, I want to summon some of you to strike unseen, and if I prove worthy, I wish to be taught senjutsu by the snake sage."

Anko openly gaped at the senjutsu bit. She didn't know her apprentice was aiming for that!

Sadro laughed "You are bold, I like that. But before I allow you to summon us, I must be given a sample of your most potent homemade poison. Based on its strength, I will judge your worth."

Hikari nodded and took out a vial of orange liquid.

Sadro "Pour it all in my mouth, do not worry about it affecting me as we snakes are immune to most poisons."

Hikari then jumped down to a nearly tree branch near Sadro's mouth and cautiously poured the entire vial into it. She then proceeded to jump back on his head.

Sadro flicked his forked tongue in approval. "You are more than worthy, Hikari Hyuuga. Your poison is more than potent enough to allow me to accept you as a summoner of the snakes."

Hikari was ecstatic. "Thank you Sadro!"

Sadro "One more thing before I go back to the Ryūchi Caves. I have a condition of allowing you to summon us, if Manda ever appears then you must summon me personally."

Hikari "I agree to honor this condition, Sadro. But may I ask why?"

Sadro "Manda and his ilk are traitors and rebels. They seek to overthrow me and have humans worship and offer blood sacrifices to them. It is beyond lazy to want to be worshiped and sacrificed to, we are proud of the method where we eat the chakra from those we defeat in battle or through assassination."

Hikari "Thank you, Sadro. I understand now."

Sadro inclined his head then reverse summoned himself back to the Ryūchi Caves.

Hikari leaped down and landed on the ground next to Anko.

Anko "Good job, Hikari! Now let's work on using snakes in your fighting style!"

Two Months Later: The Forest of Death

Hikari 'Shadow Snake Blades!' Six green snakes poured out of her sleeve towards Anko. Before they got there they each spit out a copy of her katana that glowed with faint green light from being covered in her snake venom enhanced water chakra.

Anko went through her own hand signs "Shadow Snake Flamethrower!" With that six red snakes poured out of her sleeve and breathed fire on Hikari's snakes, dispelling them.

Hikari once again let out six snakes, however this time she wasn't adding in ninjutsu and thus didn't have to use any hand signs. These six brown snakes flew towards Anko with a Rasengan forming in each of their mouths 'Shadow Snake Rasengan Barrage!'

When these snakes each slammed into Anko, she disappeared in a cloud of smoke; showing it was a shadow clone.

Hikari immediately saw a chakra signature behind her and moved to hit it with her poison scalpels.

Hikari did but was blocked by a flaming hand.

Anko "You're not the old one who has incorporated ninjutsu into their taijutsu."

Hikari was about to retaliate when Anko motioned for her to stop. She clearly saw why with the messenger ninja that came in next to Anko and gave her a letter. After reading the letter Anko grimaced.

"Sorry Hikari, but I've got to cut our sparring short today. I was just notified that I am to be the proctor of the second part of the exam in two weeks. I've got to go meet with the Hokage personally about it."

Hikari pouted "I still haven't managed to apply my water ninjutsu to the Rasengan yet...That and the fact that the most I can do with lightning chakra now is to create a small handful of sparks."

Anko "Hey, you can still channel those sparks through your water ninjutsu. Sure it won't be lethal yet, but it would temporarily immobilize them."

Hikari "Hmm, that might actually work. By the way, is the second part of the exam the usual forest of death survival test/scroll retrieval mission?"

Anko "Yep! And I'm going to put those little kiddies through hell!"

Hikari "I swear you get far too into this... I'm going to go check on Naruto and Sasuke. "

Anko pouted "Now you're starting to sound like Kurenai...Alright bye!"

Ichiraku Ramen Stand

Hikari walked up to the noodle restaurant and sat down next to Naruto and Sasuke and smiled "Heh, I knew you guys would be here."

Sasuke "The idiot does love his ramen."

Naruto "I do love it; Believe It!"

Hikari was about to try and talk to Sasuke about training when the three of them saw a perfectly rectangular rock with eye holes. 'Good Kami, that's a bad disguise…'

Naruto "Hey Konohamaru! I can see you!"

Konohamaru and his two friends transformed back to their normal selves in a puff of smoke.

Konohamaru "Aw, Boss. How did you know it was us?"

Hikari "Rocks don't have eye holes."

Konohamaru "Then we wouldn't use those next time! Hey Naruto, wanna play ninja with us?"

Naruto "Sure Konohamaru!" He said chasing after the now running away Konohamaru.

Hikari turned to Sasuke "You want to make sure the idiot doesn't run into any trouble."

Sasuke sighed "Yeah… with all the foreign ninja around for the chunin exams, there's a good chance he might annoy someone too much…"

Hikari activated her Byakugan "Let's go then. We don't want Naruto killed by some overly sensitive ninja."

A few hundred feet away.

Naruto was just catching up to Konohamaru when he saw him held up by an unknown ninja.

Naruto "Hey, I don't know who you are but you need to put him down! He didn't do anything!"

The unknown man with face paint turned to him "Or what?"

It was then that Hikari and Sasuke body flickered in.

Hikari turned to Naruto "Really Naruto?! Not 30 seconds later and you've already caused an international incident?!"

Naruto "Hey, it's not my fault this guy won't put down Konohamaru!"

Before anyone could say anything else, however, another unknown red-haired ninja appeared standing upside-down on the tree.

"Kankuro put him down. We're here for the exams."

Kankuro "But Garra, he-"

Garra "Kankuro, you're an embarrassment to our village. Put him down or I'll kill you..."

Kankuro "Of course Garra" he said quickly dropping Konohamaru.

Garra then turned to look directly at Naruto "Mother wants your blood. She will get it in due time." he then disappeared in a swirl of sand.

Naruto turned to Hikari and Sasuke "What the hell was up with that guy?"

Hikari "I don't know, but he's clearly an insane psychopath."

Later: The Exam Floor

Hikari "Man that Genjutsu was so pathetic."

Sasuke agreed. "I don't even need my Sharingan to see through that pathetic jutsu."

Hikari turned to Sasuke "Oh, you have the Sharingan now?"

Sasuke looked proud. "Yeah, I unlocked it in a partially heated sparring session with Kakashi. He also helped me fully evolve it to three tomoe in each by 'training' it."

Hikari heard the air quotes "Define training?"

Sasuke "Being scared half to death and thinking he's actually going to kill me over and over again until my Sharingan evolved."

Naruto "Why'd he do that?!"

Hikari quoted something she saw in one of the Uchiha documents: "The stronger the emotions felt by the Uchiha, the stronger their visual prowess."

Sasuke shook his head "One day you ARE going to tell me how you know so much about my clan and the Sharingan."

Hikari "I promise that one day I will."

They kept walking for a bit before Hikari turned to Sasuke "Fangirls inbound."

Sasuke groaned "Great, an ambush."

Ino and Sakura screeched "EEEHHH! SASUKE!"

Hikari wasn't going to have any of that and just launched two metal senbon at them. Freezing them in place.

"Paralytic poison with a 30-second duration. If you don't want to be frozen again, then don't test me with your childish whims. You are Kunoichi, not schoolgirls, fucking act like it!"

Everyone was currently looking at the group. The other Kunochi in the room were giving Hikari looks of respect.

30 seconds later, the two girls fell into a heap on the ground.

Ino and Sakura "How DARE you try and take away our SASU-"

Hikari shot two more senbons at them. "This time it's 60 seconds."

It was then that Ibiki came in.

Ibiki "Alright you brats! It's time for the first part of the exam! Come with me!

The Testing Room

Ibiki "Alright Brats! You will be taking a written test! If you're caught cheating then you and your entire team are out!" He then went and passed out the tests. "Begin!"

Hikari already knew what this test was about. It was to gauge one of the first things she learned as a ninja, information gathering skills.

And wasn't that notoriously easy, just projecting her vision to one of the not so badly hidden proctors to be used as cheating material.

40 minutes later, they handed in their tests.

Ibiki "Alright, now it's time for the last question. If you get this question wrong then you will not be able to take the chunin test ever again."

A Lot of people were angry at that.

Ibiki "So if anyone wants to leave, you're welcome to do so" A few teams left.

Ibiki waited dramatically before looking around slowly. "Congratulations, you all passed!"

Kiba "What?!"

Hikari stepped in to explain "This entire setup was never about the test, It was about commitment to gathering information."

Ibiki nodded "Hikari Hyuuga is correct, the test itself never meant anything, and the last question was a test to see your commitment to gathering information."

Ibiki was about to continue when a familiar figure crashed in through the window holding a large banner reading 'The single and sexy proctor of the second stage, Anko Mitarashi!'

Hikari just rolled her eyes, Anko was clearly still up to her usual shenanigans. "Anko, nice entrance."

Ibiki scowled "Anko, you're early."

Anko "Eh, Whatever." She started looking around the room "But seriously Ibiki, are you losing your touch in your old age? You passed 20 teams?"

Ibiki shrugged "Maybe we've just got a stronger crop this year."

Anko "Or maybe you're just old. It's not like it matters anyway, I'll slice these numbers in half in my part of the exams. That second part of the chunin exams begins now! Follow me, everyone!" She then jumped out the window.

Hikari immediately got up and followed her "Always so dramatic…"

Everyone just stared for a few seconds then followed Hikari and Anko out the broken window.

Ibiki looked at the glass on the floor "If I know anything for sure, it's that Anko is just as crazy as usual and I'm not cleaning this mess up."

The Forest of Death: Entry Gate

Anko "Alright kiddies! Welcome to the second part of the Chunin exams, The Forest of Death! Now I need you all to sign these waivers!"

A girl from the hidden cloud raised her hand "Why are we signing waivers?"

Anko smirked "So your village doesn't get angry if you die of course! Now come and get your waivers and pens!"

A few minutes later, everyone had either signed the waivers or chickened out.

Anko "Now! Your goal is to get both a heaven and an earth scroll. Each team will be given one and will be tasked with stealing the other from a different team! You may not open the scrolls before you reach the tower for the third stage of the chunin exams!

For the next five days, you will only be allowed in the forest and must find your own way to survive within. Or you know you always have the option to, of course, die!" She said far to chipper.

Hikari rolled her eyes again.

Choji "Five days?! But what about food?!"

Anko "Find your own food, there are plenty of edible things in this forest. Now? Any more questions? No? Then I wish you all good luck, have fun dying!"

Everyone immediately ran into the forest. Anko just started eating some Dango without a care in the world.

The Hikari Clone sighed "You enjoy this way too much..."

Anko "Hey! Aren't you supposed to be in the forest?"

Hikari Clone "I am in the forest right now. I'm a shadow clone."

And just like that, screams of terror immediately came out from the forest.

Anko laughed happily "Yes! Nothing better than some Dango with a fresh side of mortal terror!"

Hikari Clone "And you wonder why people think you're utterly insane…"

Anko laughed "We've been over this Hikari, I am insane!" Then she picked up another stick of dango and pointed it at her "Dango?"

Hikari Clone "It's not like I'm actually eating it, and I would burn it all off on the same day if I did, so why not?"

The Forest of Death; Team Seven

Naruto "Well that was easy." He said holding up the earth scroll they needed.

Hikari "I mean, in all honesty, what did they think was going to happen if they tried a mere transformation genjutsu on an Uchiha and a Hyuuga?"

Sasuke agreed. "Truly, they were fools."

Two Days Later: The Forest of Death

Hikari "Alright, I have a plan to be able to tell if we're actually real and not fake. Naruto. I want you to answer this math question as the password. When I say what's the password, you will answer the math problem of what the square root of forty-nine times two is."

Naruto looked confused. "That's really hard, but I'll try my best; Believe It!"

Sasuke 'He'll never be able to figure that out. Clever. If an eavesdropper disguised as Naruto says fourteen, then we will immediately know it's a fake.

Not a few minutes later, a massive wave of chakra-enhanced wind came directly at them. Sasuke and Hikari managed to get away, but Naruto was blown away and a certain snake made his move.

Forest of Death Perimeter

Anko "And so he just said, do you know who my family is?! Do you know what they will do when they find out what happened to me?!"

The Hikari clone groaned "I hate those kinds of people, they're so delusional and full of themselves! Watching their will and confidence break is...!"

Anko "I know! So anyways…"

Both the Kunoichi stopped to look at five dead ninjas on the ground.

Hikari's clone and Anko immediately started examining them.

Hikari Clone "Grass Ninja. They are missing their faces…"

Anko "Yeah… I'm not liking this…"

Hikari Clone "Are you thinking what I'm thinking?"

Anko looked worried "I'm afraid so…If it is HIM…"

Hikari clone "He might have actually completed THAT jutsu and used it to take her over…"

Anko "That's exactly what I'm afraid of…What I want to know is, why is HE here?"

Hikari clone "Honestly, my money is Sasuke's Sharingan. What exactly is HIS ultimate goal again?"

Anko "To unlock all jutsu in the entire world, and the Sharingan can copy jutsu… With the Uchiha clan all but extinguished…"

Hikari clone "HE will be forced to go after Sasuke or Itachi. But why go after an S-ranked criminal when you can go after one measly little genin instead?"

Anko "Fuck."

Hikari clone "That is the word that sums up this situation completely." She agreed. "Well, I guess I'll be taking my leave, I can't be caught off guard when HE is involved."

Anko nodded "Go."

Hikari's shadow clone disappeared in a puff of smoke.

The Forest of Death; Team Seven.

Hikari received the memories from her clone and immediately looked to Naruto in front of her.

Hikari "Well, what's the password?"

Naruto "The password is 14"

Hikari immediately activated her Byakugan and Sasuke his Sharingan "Who are you, where's Naruto?!"

The disguise immediately dropped and Hikari activated her snake poisoned chakra armor and unsealed her katana to run her poisonous water chakra through it.

Hikari snarled "Orochimaru!"

Orochimaru laughed "Ku, Ku, Ku! How did you know it was me, Hikari?" He said while drawing his own blade, the legendary sword of Kusanagi.

Hikari "I left a shadow clone with my sensei who is your ex-student Anko. It dispelled and gave me the status of the faceless dead bodies. Not disposing of your victim's bodies? You're getting careless Orochimaru!"

Orochimaru laughed "We shall see" With that Hikari deactivated all her resistance seals and charged Orochimaru. Their blades clashed milliseconds later in a flash of sparks and chakra.

Orochimaru "I can sense the smell of the snakes on you child, Anko has truly trained you then. Show me your power that made you worthy of them!"

Hikari jumped away and started going through some hand seals 'Water Style: Vortex Chakram!' Water then began to be dragged from the air to form a swirling whirlpool of water that quickly flew towards Orochimaru.

Orochimaru "A mastery of silent jutsu casting and the ability to draw water from thin air just as the second Hokage could, impressive. But not good enough." Orochimaru sped through a sequence of hand signs "Wind Style: Typhoon!"

The two giant ranging vortexes of elemental chakra slammed into each other, creating a massive downpour of rain and wind that canceled each other out.

Sasuke, not wanting to be left out, started going through his own hand signs for a new fire ninjutsu he found in the Uchiha clan archives "Fire Style: Flame Whirlwind!" Fire chakra quickly began to wrap around his whole body before condensing into his hand. This swirling ball of fire raced toward Orochimaru.

Orochimaru laughed "Yes Sasuke! Show me your power!" He went through some hand signs to create his defense "Water Style: Water Dome!" Orochimaru spat out some water and quickly turned it into a protective dome.

The flame whirlwind slammed into the barrier and exploded. A few seconds later, the flames died down and Orochimaru stepped out of his protected patch of grass surrounded by ash.

Orochimaru looked at Sasuke full of desire then wove some hand signs "Lightning Style: Lightning Bolt!" A massive bolt of lightning sped towards Sasuke who easily jumped out of the way

Hikari "Not so fast, Orochimaru!" 'Shadow Snake Rasengan Barrage!' Six yellow snakes with Rasengans in each of their mouths sped towards him. While this was occurring Hikari wove some hand signs 'Cloaked Shadow Snake Siphon and Paralyze!' Six snakes cloaked by her invisibility ninjutsu and holding a copy of her chakra siphon seal, a chakra storage seal, and a paralysis seal in their mouths burst out of her other sleeve.

Orochimaru "Combining the Striking Shadow Snakes technique with the Rasengan, very innovative I must say. That being said, you are not the first one to think of this same move "Striking Shadow Snakes Rasengan Storm!" The two near-identical techniques met each other and began to fight for dominance.

Orochimaru cackled "You cannot win, Hikari!"

Sasuke ran through some hand seals and quickly launched himself at Orochimaru with lightning in his hands that sounded like birds. "Chidori!"

Orochimaru went through some hand signs with his one free hand "Pitiful! Wind Barrier!"

A barrier of wind started to surround Orochimaru but quickly disappeared to his great surprise "What?! What is happening to my chakra?! What's happening to my body?!"

Hikari "It's mine now!" She said as the snakes holding Orochimaru in place and rapidly draining his chakra decloaked with a ripple of water. Black strings of Kanji rapidly spread across Orochimaru's body while this was happening.

Sasuke's hand slammed into Orochimaru's head with his Chidori. "It's over."

The body of Orochimaru fell to the ground, only to ooze slightly before disgustingly letting out a fully healed Orochimaru from his own skin.

Orochimaru slithered out of the old skin "Ku, Ku, Ku! It's been quite a while since I had to use this technique. Now, however, let us end this!"

Immediately all three ninjas bit their thumbs and went through the same hand signs before slamming their hands on the ground.

Orochimaru / Hikari / Sasuke "Summoning Jutsu!"

In a puff of smoke a giant purple snake, a giant white snake, and a red and white cat appeared with each summoner on their heads.

Hikari "Sasuke, when did you get the cat contract?"

Sasuke "I'll tell you later."

Sadro "Thank you Hikari, you have honored our agreement. Now it's time for me to finally end you, Manda!"

Manda hissed in hatred "Sadro!"

Hydria the boss cat looked around "I'm fighting alongside a snake. I never saw that coming."

Sadro "We can talk about our two species' rivalries later. For now, let us fight!"

Hydria "Indeed Sadro."

Hydria "Inferno Style; Solar Flare!"

Sadro "Earth Style: Swamp of the Underworld!"

Manda quickly became stuck in the giant mud pit. As the stream of plasma was approaching, Orochimaru went through hand seals for another summoning "Summoning Jutsu: Rashōmon!" A giant gate with a face was summoned and stopped the onslaught of plasma cold.

Orochimaru "Manda, we don't have time for this, I have bigger things to set into motion. We will finish this snack of yours later."

Manda started complaining but Orochimaru reverse summoned him and Orochimaru disappeared by transforming into a shimmering flame.

Hikari huffed "Why do all the bad guys get cool space/time ninjutsu?!"

Sadro "Get back here, Manda! You lazy coward!" Sadro then reverse summoned himself. Hikari jumped off him and landed on the ground.

Hydria "Goodbye Sasuke, and good hunting." She too reverse summoned herself.

Sasuke then came and sat down on a log next to Hikari.

Hikari "I feel like we're forgetting something…"

Sasuke: "Eh, it's probably not important. I just want to sit here for a second."

Hikari decided to do the same when it suddenly hit her "That's what it was! Where the hell is Naruto?!"

Naruto of course just happened to be watching the whole thing and started fanboying "That was so cool guys! I want a summon! I want a summon!"

Hikari: "Now now Naruto, do you want to go through Anko's Training? That's what I had to do. Oh, and you have to make a really good poison to have them accept you as their summoner."

Naruto looked down "No…"

Sasuke "And I had to go through many harsh life-threatening trials too, do you want that?"

Naruto "Not really…"

Hikari chucked "Life-threatening? Collecting paw prints is life-threatening?"

Sasuke "Ok that's it! How do you know so much about my clan?!"

Hikari sighed "I may or may not have transcribed copies of various jutsu from the Uchiha archives."

Sasuke "You did what?! Is that also how you know so much about the Sharingan and Mangekyou Sharingan?!"

Hikari looked down guiltily, "Yes….I just thought that the great Uchiha clan would have a vast knowledge of various types of ninja arts. I was right of course, I did base my Nytomi directly off the Tsukuyomi after all."

Sasuke looked angry. "Tell me some Hyuuga secrets and I'll think about forgiving you."

Hikari: "Sure! But to be honest there's not a lot that could help you. The Hyuuga clan was full of stagnant assholes up until I beat some sense into some of them and helped overthrow the ones who were too stubborn to take a hint."

Sasuke considered that and admitted she had a point. "Alright then, teach me how to create chakra armor and we'll call it even."

Hikari "...I based that off of the Susanoo"

Sasuke looked at her in confusion "The what?"

Hikari "A giant set of avatar of chakra armor that takes the appearance of a warrior of unique color. It is the ultimate jutsu always given by the Mangekyou Sharingan. It has many stages of progression, starting with just a ribcage, then to a basic upper skeleton, then to an upper body, then to an upper-body with both armor and a unique weapon.

After all that comes the perfect Susanoo, a full-sized samurai armored avatar with legs and wings that has access to an exploding shuriken esk projectile, the unique weapon, and a large sword. According to your clan's documents, the perfect Susanoo has power similar to that of a tailed beast."

Sasuke looked at her in shock and awe. "My clan had access to that kind of power?!"

Hikari "It was very rare, the Mangekyou Sharingan offers great power but it has a price. Also, the cost of awakening is also very great."

Sasuke immediately remembered his brother's words 'Come back to me once you attain these eyes. To do so you must kill the one closest to you, your best friend.'

He looked at her cautiously. "What is that price?"

Hikari "Extensive usage of the Mangekyou Sharingan causes mental instability and the deterioration of vision that eventually leads to total blindness."

Sasuke immediately knew that was truly a huge price, for an Uchiha to become blind… And mental instability? Had the Mangekyou Sharingan led his brother to slaughter the clan?

Hikari continued "However there is a cure, a way to restore the user's deteriorating eyesight and to allow for unlimited and strain-free usage of the Mangekyou Sharingan. This is called the Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan, and it is achieved by having an eye transplant with a sibling who also has the Mangekyou Sharingan unlocked."

Sasuke was horrified, everything now made so much sense! His brother was trying to push him to hatred to get him to kill the one closest to him and achieve the Mangekyou Sharingan! From here he wanted him to return to him so he would be able to gain the power of the Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan for himself! This is why he spared him! Itachi only left him alive to gain this power!

Sasuke immediately knew he had to follow Hikari's advice she gave when they first met Kakashi. He may have taken it slightly to heart and opened up a bit, but he now had to commit! As hard as it would be for him, he HAD to give up on his extreme hatred. He would not be used by his brother as a tool to gain the Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan!

Sasuke "Hikari… Thank you… I…I forgive your intrusion into my clans' archives. In Fact, I thank you for it."

Hikari just looked at him in utter confusion "What?"

Sasuke "My brother only left me alive so he could gain the Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan. I will not become his pawn to gain its power. For giving me this understanding, I completely forgive you."

Hikari looked sheepish "Well… I still feel kinda guilty about breaking into your clan's property and stealing their secrets for myself..."

Sasuke surprisingly smiled slightly. "Don't be, I both forgive you and thank you."

Hurizen Sarutobi smiled "As nice as it is to see a person turn another away from a dark path as I failed to do with Orochimaru, we must speak of what just happened."

Both Sasuke and Hikari quickly turned around to face the Third Hokage who was standing alongside Anko, Kakashi, Naruto, and several dozen ANBU.

Hikari bowed "Lord Third, we fought Orochimaru in battle but he retreated for some reason after we progressed to using our boss summons. I could tell he wasn't beaten but he said he didn't have time for this. I don't like the sound of that, he's planning something, something bad."

The third Hokage nodded "I concur, Hikari. Good job both of you for lasting so long. By the way, did you three gather the opposite scroll you needed?"

Sasuke pulled out both scrolls and showed them to the Hokage who nodded "In that case, you can have a free pass to the tower today. You deserve some rest."

Sauske and Hikari "Thank you Lord Hokage!"

Naruto "Thank you, Grandpa!"
