Bye.
Sighing considerably, Kisune ambled along the delicate carpets of the palace, he fixed his eyes onto the gargantuan gates.
He was beckoned to enter by Kurama, and Kisune blurred inwards before kneeling respectfully.
Bored, Kurama leaned into his throne rather languidly, scrutinizing Kisune indifferently. "The child…" He raised a hand regally. "Shall be watched."
Nodding dutifully, Kisune speared the carpets softly, before surging to his feet speedily. "Of course. My liege!"
He whirled around hurriedly, and dispersed into a shroud of crimson aura. Amusedly, Kurama bellowed.
"Another me," He hummed unemotionally, his sharpened nails engraining themselves into his robes. "I'm excited for the problems your presence shall bring!"
Opening his pupils, crimson coruscated mirthfully before shutting as Kurama's existence rippled.
"Hm," He extended an arm lazily, signalling a firebrick barrier to encircle his shape. "Another presence. His."
(-)
Naruto's hand was grabbed promptly. Matatabi –humanoid, who was controlling Yugito, examined the Uzumaki, outwardly contemplating.
His breathing hitched softly, as Matatabi hurled him skywards in the blue-encompassed area. "Small traces of a sagely chakra."
Clasping both hands, Matatabi blurred. Patiently, the entity captured Naruto, setting him onto an azure chair.
"Okay. 1. Stop throwing me!" Naruto pointed his finger in irritation at the creature, who shrugged dryly. "2. Please throw me again!"
Exuberantly grinning, Naruto shot towards the skies, he lowered his hands below before bellowing immaturely. "Gale Palm. Hah, Wind Style stays superior!"
Using the wind, Naruto flew higher into the endlessness Matatabi easily created. Until, he noticed he was falling.
And Wind Style wasn't working, at all.
"Damn. Where's Sage of something holy, unarguably ramen. Okay, where the hell is Sage of Sixth Ramen mode?!"
(-)
Menma slowly scanned his perimeters. After being awoken and sighing, he merely remained in his bed, despite being in the training area before.
He tapped his fingers against the mattress musingly. His mind pacing for a healthy method to summarise the information.
"Kurama. Human now. Tailed Beasts. Human now." Dropping onto his pillow, Menma aridly shook his skull. "Matatabi. Are you able to memorize his presence?"
"Challengingly, I was." Matatabi, inside the seal, curled up sleepily, yawning quietly. "This Kurama is superior to you in all classes."
"Our Kurama beats him." Menma monotonously retorted, stifling a sarcastic laugh. "In all seriousness…" He blurred onto the window sill. "What's his game?"
Silently, Menma's purple irises became unlatched, he opened up a single one in contemplation. "I'm going for a walk."
"Good decision," Matatabi stretched drowsily, yawning more sleepily. "Good-Night then."
"Sleep well." Shattering their mental connection, Menma flickered out of his window, lazily eyeing Konoha's boisterousness. "No academy, as I'm in Anbu…Pretty nice."
Ambling through the lanes, he neared a shopping district and snapped his head around, observing the citizens and Shinobi living through their normalcy.
"It's peculiar," Menma strolled forward, hands in pockets, while dodging countless people. "They're all unaware of the looming threats."
He sighed restfully before watching a few kids, his physical age or smaller, hasten to their families excitedly.
"Huh?" Indifferently, the child wiped a foreign tear from his cheek and unhurriedly walked. "Oh, well."
It was still afternoon, and the weekends. Menma decided to see whether or not the Sushi Place he frequented was open.
He merely sauntered, not wanting to use his skills for a simplistic desire, Menma approached a structure, in line with others.
"Sushi Place," He internally laughed before unlatching the door. Menma bowed politely to the waiters, seating himself calmly. "More people than normal."
Well, this was a new timeline after all. Raising his hand, he was aware of what to order. "4 Sashimi, please."
The waiter nodded in affirmation, entering another door with a small-book in hand. Menma then felt a tug near his shoulder.
Glancing at the arrival, his inward eyes expanded curiously. While, externally, he remained deliberately composed.
"Greetings Menma!" Shisui cheekily extended his lips, ruffling the Uzumaki's hair merrily. "You been well?"
Settling onto the seat from across, the Uchiha idly observed his pupil, who blandly bowed his head, grasping it softly.
Shisui unworriedly shrugged. Menma was always the noiseless type of person. Apathetic and intentionally cruel. Similar to Minato in those aspects.
He mentally shuddered. Minato Namikaze. He owed his life to him, and much more. Before and after the Kage's death.
The Uchiha noticed Menma's indiscernible nod, as he resumed to relax, waiting for his meal.
"Sorry, I couldn't train you," He embarrassedly apologized, massaging his chin thoughtlessly. "I was given missions and you were initiated to the Anbu as a solo team. Meaning our schedules are quite busy."
Menma casually listened, inhaling all the words Shisui mumbled. His inwardness was feeling slightly damaged. "It's okay. Orochimaru wanted me near Suna, it was some kinda examination."
Shisui exhaled kindly, watching the waiter place 4 plates onto the desk. "Could-…"
"Order your own," Menma separated his chop-sticks and unintelligibly expressed his gratefulness before stabbing the contents of the plate speedily. "It's worth the price. In my opinion."
Blithely, Shisui quickly flickered and approached a waiter, who he appeared affiliated with, whispering something indistinctly.
Appearing into his chair again, Shisui witnessed Menma completing his 4th bowl in seconds. "Sorry, Menma gotta leave! Gotcha some food, place it on my tab!"
Menma amicably gestured before waiting for what the Uchiha granted him, and his mind blared. "Damn, this was nice."
Before, once more, he internally burned. Menma grabbed his skull with a mental hiss. While his sights blurred with yellow.
"Matatabi, you okay?" He confusedly enquired, inconspicuously massaging his hair. "Your chakra feels messed up."
He was aware his partner was unconscious, but was unable to discern the reason for this unpredicted mass of chakra to invade his spheres.
Soon, he detected the garnering energy fade completely. He decided to learn from Matatabi, once waking.
Menma shrugged slightly, as he glanced at the waiter, bringing along a feast of different types of Sushi, his abdomen mumbled excitedly.
(-)
Once he finished the kindly provided meal, –Shisui granted him- Menma was simply appreciating the skies above.
He clenched his hand, the afternoon was still only starting. The Uzumaki leaped from the roof-top before sauntering away.
Menma desired for a method to unleash some of his energy, he extended his upper limbs, staring at the training area, calculatedly composed.
"A sparring partner would be nice," He instantly slipped into a stance. A normal and expected one, nothing special. "Using the Sealed Fists would warrant curiosity."
He fired a weak kick at the tree, banging his leg against the product of nature before quickening his pace.
Menma lowered his appendage, as he shot a speedy punch forward. His purple eyes scanned the damage he could deal, currently.
"Small cracks," Exhaling with calmness, he ambled another fist at the branch. "I still am confused to those tears, and my partner's chakra…"
He paused, hearing boisterous yells from the distance until he blurred to the side, blocking a kick skilfully.
"Damn, they're pretty strong," Menma rocketed underneath, after steering the limb away. "Guy-Sensei or Lee? They trained in this place."
He hurled himself to stand up before raising his fingers, chakra hummed into his hands. "Okay. They're approaching."
Until a single Tomoe examined Menma, who inquisitively watched, dispersing the aura.
"Obito," Menma blurred composedly, the Uchiha was a completely separate existence from the other one, greatly. "It'd be stupid to compare the 2."
"Quick, similarly to the blonde," Obito drawled good-naturedly, smiling cheekily –Menma compared it to Shisui's- and nodded. "Good to see you!"
"But still," Menma's pupil glanced skywards, imagining Kakashi's death bitterly before the sourness speedily dispelled. "I need to stay calmer."
"Of course," Menma sarcastically-boredly retorted, lowering his protective posture casually. "You're still more annoying."
"Ya wanna fight or something?!" Obito childishly punched the wind, grinning languidly. "You and Naruto are brats, never gonna change!"
"Ah, fighting you would be disrespecting father, once he watched from above, witnessing me beating your ass."
Unaffectedly, Menma whirled around before snapping his head towards Obito challengingly. "And realizing his time was wasted teaching you."
Obito's head merely bowed in mock sadness, before laughing boisterously. "Well, that's quite hurtful."
Shrugging slightly, Menma unashamedly smiled, placing his hands into his pockets, once more. "Where's Naruto?"
The Uchiha rubbed his chin, he recalled sending Naruto hastily out of the Kamui Earth and leaving. "Somewhere."
"Which means you left a 10-year-old child alone?" Menma dryly shook his head, unworried. "Oh well." He unwarily lifted his shoulders. "He's okay. Maybe."
(-)
"Damn." Naruto sprang above a square of blue chakra, which laughed damagingly. "I'm. Gonna. Die."
He blurred forward, towards Matatabi –Humanoid-, who blasted another square of baleful energy. Naruto sprinted again, hurling it skywards.
"Okay," He observed his battling partner carefully, seating himself onto a chakra made chair. "The 9 Humanoid Beats exists. And your container is dying?"
Matatabi's yellow eyes whistled with inattentiveness, before nodding serenely. "Yugito's unable to control the strength given."
His sapphire orbs scrutinized Matatabi with curiosity, his expression clicking into a sceptical one. "And you're killing Yugito when you're controlling her too?"
Matatabi hummed dryly, tapping a finger into the blue square residing nearby. "A good summary."
He was preparing something before Matatabi's Earth shattered, the blue fading politely. "Be well, Naruto."
"No-…" Naruto was forced towards a tree by the residual chakra left from Matatabi's escape. "The heck…"
(-)
Sasuke's Chakra rushed to his hands, as he blocked Tsunade's punch until he was catapulted upwards, being slammed into a bush.
Curtly, Tsunade hastened towards Sasuke, who was limited to Chakra Control for the battle, and bashed a hand onto his abdomen.
The Uchiha calmly leaped, drilling his clenched fist near Tsunade's nose, whose hand clutched Sasuke's face before he crashed into the numerous trees.
He maintained an expression of indifference. This would be good for him, and yet the Uchiha inwardly growled in annoyance. "My attitude's becoming more childish."
While the war was happening, Sasuke grew slightly detached with or about the occurrences containing sadness or helplessness.
Now, he was callously excited, something his 12-Year-old existence would feel and he was becoming unnerved by the prospects.
He was becoming inclined to his 10-Year-Old self's emotions, the one who existed before he was sent to the new timeline.
Sasuke realized that the other Sasuke –New Timeline's- was similar to, well, him. He speculated they were both frostier in personality.
He stood up before he and Tsunade entered a bandits' camp and the healer grinned excitedly at what the Uchiha would steal now.
"Chakra Enhancements only." Tsunade ordered wisely, pointing towards the bandits, and they were presently unaware of the other foreign presences. "Okay?"
Nodding in agreeance, Sasuke flickered towards the criminals and grabbed one's arms before bringing them to unconsciousness by kneeing their head, easily.
He channelled chakra into his fingers and grasped the blades from the 2 bandits sneaking behind. "Be quieter."
Whirling around, the Uchiha's leg crashed into one's stomach, making them kneel as Sasuke hurled the other bandit to the group.
"I limited myself considerably," He ambled emotionlessly before blurring by the other 10 grouped with each-other. "I need a drink."
Sasuke disregarded them all as they fell, but then he opened his hand, dropping the coins into a bag, before sprinting away.
Tsunade noticed Sasuke returning, and a pouch filled with coins, the Sannin smiled greedily. While the Uchiha threw the bag languidly with patience.
"To the Casino!" Tsunade rushed forward hurriedly until glancing towards Sasuke, who rested on a branch peacefully. "Oi!"
"I can catch up later," He informed calmly. The child blurred skywards and onto another area. "I'm sceptical with something…"
Sasuke approached the new area and his detection abilities whistled carefully, he felt the familiar chakra of a certain Otsutsuki. Indra's presence hummed.

Night-Time:
Menma settled into a chair inside his apartment complex. He lazily eyed the window before exhaling deeply.
"Matatabi," He desired to learn about the unexpected appearance of the beasts' chakra in the pupils. "Something wrong?"
Unresponsiveness bellowed in Menma internally, he sighed confusedly. "Could the humanoid Kurama damaged-…"
Hastily, he entered the seal only to notice the emptiness, and the gate where Kurama –Beasts- slumbered peacefully. "Huh? Matatabi!"
Menma heard nothing once more. "Was the seal weakened?" He was instantly careful. A small, Keppel sphere of aura appeared.
It was similar to Matatabi's chakra and Menma quickly grabbed it as his eyes shone yellow.
Menma dispersed the chakra and sighed incessantly before the Keppel ball disappeared. "Kurama! You awake?!"
He heard something bellow strongly as blue and crimson chakra coalesced and separated, Menma's sights were flooded with fire-brick and yellow energy.

He bowed deeply, stifling a yell.
Menma's sights became normal once more as the blurred letters dispelled. He opened his eyes to witness Matatabi sleeping.
Soon, he walked out of the seal. Unable to discern those words, he pitilessly sighed. "Sasuke may be able to make me memorize this."
(-)
Sasuke sauntered towards the source of his ancestor's presence. Carefully, his chakra whistled.
He lifted up a hand to brighten the dimmed forests and ambled around, keenly scouring for small traces of Indra's existence.
"Fire Style: Higher Warmth," He internally murmured, his scrutiny increasing by the second. "Okay-…"
A platform of stone began to rise beneath Sasuke before sinking, the Uchiha's spheres widened unworriedly.
Sasuke attached chakra to his heels and watched the stone surface lower, bringing him into a new area.
He escaped the elevator and craned his head upwards, noticing the arrays of weapons surrounding his form.
"Wait a minute…" Sasuke glided towards the pedestal in the centre, his pupils watched the blade glisten curiously. "It's quite familiar."
Sasuke clutched the weapon strongly, witnessing it clang onto the pedestal that contained it haughtily. Until, the edge shined.

He breathed deeply, kneeling onto the rough terrain below him, he worked inwardly to understand the incident which transpired.
"Those words." They were random and indistinguishable. Sasuke rose into a higher posture and exhaled preparedly. "Indra…What are you planning?"
He channelled energy into his hand and soared upwards before dispersing.
(-)
Menma woke up, sitting on his chair. His arms moved and settled onto the desk as he musingly hummed.
"I suppose Matatabi would be aware," He sprang from his chair into his bed and collapsed onto the pillow. "Gonna need to use a mission to learn more about this Earth."

Morning:
Menma, encompassed by his Anbu clothing, stood airily near Orochimaru's office's table. He nodded in greetings.
The Sannin's normally inquisitive look was altered into something far more grave and unamused. "Menma Uzumaki."
Casually bowing his head in confirmation, Menma shrugged diminutively. "Standing!"
Shaking his head, unentertained. Orochimaru's hand opened as his personal guard blinked into existence. "Watcher. 7."
His yellow-ish eyes lowered seriously. He hurled a scroll towards 7 and sighed unhurriedly. "Bring Kitsune to the briefing area."
"Matatabi," Menma deliberately drawled, relaxing with a slouched stance. "My guess was perfectly guessed."
"Menma." Matatabi's silhouette snapped into his orbs momentarily. "Orochimaru is serious."
"Oh," He dryly retorted, his sarcastic behaviour instantly dispersing. "My lord." Menma blandly exhaled. "Problem?"
Orochimaru looked towards Menma cynically, his authority-matching aura scorched the atmosphere. "Child." Silence, only for numerous moments. "Enough."
Menma unaffectedly eyed Orochimaru, lifting a single shoulder, he slipped his mask to the side.
Watcher. 7, guided Menma to a staircase under the Hokage's office, specifically designed for Anbu missions, unless personally granted.
The Uzumaki indifferently stayed behind them as they strolled in a hurried-unworried pace. He clicked his eyes towards the countless, walking blurs.
"They're busy," He idly noticed, following Watcher. 7, into a new room, where he spotted Obito and some other, discernible existences. "Hayate. Genma."
He recognized them both from the Chunin Exams, Menma leisurely eyed Obito, who appeared deeply concentrative.
"Watcher. 7," Genma gritted his teeth onto the straw gently. "Busy as always…"
Silently, Watcher. 7 –Menma was sizably annoyed by the hassle of the name- walked towards a shelf before tossing a map to Genma quickly.
"Ah. Kakashi." Lazily, Genma removed the straw and blasted one towards Obito, smacking his head. "Oi, wake up."
Obito's expression simmered with small irritation briefly before his Mangekyo shone. "We're going?"
Raido scoffed good-naturedly nudging a chair wildly. "Firstly, plan." His legs bashed onto the desk noisily.
Obito simply nodded, his sea of grey returning promptly. The Uchiha clenched his hand softly and captured the audience's attention.
"Lord Hokage made a small error," He inwardly contemplated for the words his speech would contain. "He was aware the Tsuchikage would bring more people to the scheduled meeting."
Obito breathed out seriously. He tapped the map musingly before sighing carefully. "They sealed Orochimaru briefly. Lord Hokage eliminated the seals easily."
Languidly curious, Genma raised a hand, inciting a nod from the explainer. "Iwa's seals are weak as heck."
Shrugging at the unneeded intervention, Obito looked to Menma with considerable wariness. "They killed a group of Uzumaki Genin and kidnapped the leader."
(-)
Menma sauntered alongside Genma, -The Menma of this timeline was supposedly affiliated with him- and glanced composedly. "Kakashi was beaten by Han?"
He clenched his mouth, almost swallowing the newly placed straw. "Yep. I swear those Humanoid Ruler contractors are something."
"It appears the humanoid ones are common information."
"Wait a second," Menma informatively paused, glancing through the eye-place through his mask to the skies. "Konoha got contractors?"
Menma was aware of Kisune's words, and was curious to learn if he was lying or being genuine with his, well, words.
"Hm?" Genma appeared to contemplate slightly, chewing the twig gently. "Nope."
"Lying," Matatabi informed politely. While Menma inwardly bowed his head with gratefulness. "I'm unsure of his intentions."
"Maybe Konoha's secrets," He indifferently-mentally shrugged before placing his hands behind his head calmly. "Oh well."
"Okay. Kid." Genma opened up the door, leading outside. "We're going to Iwa to negotiate for Kakashi now."
"Wasting no time," Menma blurred as Genma flickered towards Konoha's main gates. "Good."
(-)
Menma grabbed the bag from the Anbu member, and darted to Obito. Raido. Genma. And Hayate –Who he met at the meeting- before sighing preparedly.
"Okay…" Obito's Mangekyo examined the air carefully, his chakra rushing to the eye as he scowled, bothered. "My Kamui's not working…"
Menma stared towards him confusedly, opening his mouth enquiringly. "Is your chakra low?"
"Nope," He unmindfully replied, slapping his eye sockets in annoyance. "Kamui only works when Kakashi's conscious…"
He forced a grin, sending it towards Menma with feigned boisterousness. "Well, Minato-Sensei was a seals master."
"Something happened to Obito's Sharingan, and seals helped." Menma calculated intelligently, his fingers becoming intertwined. "Still, what occurred?"
Matatabi's yellow brightened briefly, examining Obito's chakra systems quickly before shrugging. "His chakra's working perfectly."
Menma simply nodded and the group of Shinobi –Watcher. 7, included- blinked out of existence.
"Damn, I need to set a Hiraishin Seal for Naruto soon."
He leisurely distorted his form and everything surrounding him became imperceptible. "We can meet with each-other easier."
(-)
Naruto's chakra mumbled with discomfort and the Uzumaki sighed. He needed to leave Kumo urgently.
"Where the heck is the bastard?" He seethed slightly, blurring through the city speedily. "Hiraishin," Longingly, Naruto clapped. "Menma better create the seals."
He whizzed by the wickedly grinning person and grabbed their hat childishly before hurling it towards them, he leaped upwards.
"Gale Palm!"
Naruto was currently escaping Kumo for a particular reason, which Kakashi was a-part of, the Hatake was kidnapped.
He clenched his fists hurriedly, blasting himself forward, he over-heard the Raikage speaking about the problem and Iwa wanted their help.
He was unsure what the Stone desired Kumo's help for and he was necessarily unbothered, he merely needed to rescue Kakashi, he wouldn't allow him to die now.
Connecting his fingers, Naruto's chakra bellowed inwardly before he became his 16-Year-Old self and sped by.
(-)
The Raikage scoffed at the letter once more, crumpling the paper strongly. "Atsui! Send Iwa a letter…"
Atsui kneeled politely, rubbing the dirt from his face one last time, before raising his head askingly. "What shall be written? My lord?"
Ay stonily punched his desk, staring out the window roughly, and chortled with aggression. "Their deal's accepted."
Nodding, Atsui shuddered nervously before confidently standing with a bow. "And the monster?"
Laughing unsparingly. Ay grabbed a scroll and tossed it to Atsui, bellowing excitedly. "Namikaze's brat shall be eliminated."
Atsui grasped his blade, passionately tapping its edge. "Of course."
(-)
Naruto dispelled his transformation with a click of his tongue before spinning onto another roof-top hurriedly.
"Where are the gates?"
Impatiently, he rushed to the emptier places until he concentrated, wanting to garner nature energy for detection.
No change, the Uzumaki expeditiously darted forward, suppressing his chakra helpfully. Until he side-flipped and stopped.
The air laughed with hotness, as Naruto's eyes widened slightly, Atsui's blade slashed his shoulder strongly.
"Atsui?!" Naruto slipped away from the edge before crouching and standing through the second swing. "I need to go, now!"
Grinning exuberantly, Atsui whirled. Before he speared the side of Naruto's neck, the latter hissing mentally.
"Look!" He placated, channelling chakra to his hand and deflecting Atsui by punching his stomach ungently. "I only wanna go…And I won't hesitate to battle…"
Atsui's smile snapped into a more boisterous one and Naruto energetically exhaled. "Good!"
"Transformation!"
"Shadow Clones!"
Then, countless, physical copies of Naruto appeared and Atsui's blade soared through the crowds as he mumbled distastefully. "Monster! Where are ya?!"
Naruto blurred from behind the Kumo Shinobi, with a Rasengan in hand, before slamming it onto his head masterfully.
The blade-user rocketed at the surface, rolling barbarically before he groaned hurtfully. "Damn. He sure is something…"
Naruto sauntered towards him with determination, as his sapphire glistened with resolution and preparedness. "Wind Style-…"
"Lightning Style: Lightning Dragon."
His 16-Year-Old, quick, transformation dispersed. Naruto clicked into a crouched posture and barely dodged the approaching technique.
"Atsui. If I was too late you would'a died, and if you died I would cry…" Darui appeared rather desperate, shaking his comrade. "You can't traumatise me. I'm still little!"
"That's where he got the insanity," Naruto cheekily span, raising his leg towards Darui, hurling him away, hurriedly. "See ya later!"
"No!" Atsui went to him, only for Naruto to spring skywards, he kneeled and looked. "I shall capture you!"

Naruto skidded along the mountain trail and fell from the edge of the cliff excitedly.
A small rush of air neared the Uzumaki's head and he laughed childishly, revelling in the forcefulness of the wind.
"Wind Style: Wind Dragon!"
Sprinting through countless signs, Naruto's chakra went to his heels before he settled onto the Wind Dragon energetically.
"Connecting chakra to the technique," He leisurely nodded, clasping his hands as they separated. "Sasuke, you genius-bastard!"
Naruto concentrated onto the air, as Nature Energy rested around him, still, he couldn't access it, frustratingly.
Then, Naruto came to a realization or theory. Something was hindering him completely.

Kisune glided towards Naruto with crimson wings of aura, he flapped them strongly, as a whirlwind was made.
Soaring to Naruto, he was merely a blur. He gritted his teeth irritably before tossing a Kunai near him as he began flying away.
"It's completed. Lord Kurama. The order you made."
Kisune paused, with fire-brick encompassing his existence, as Kurama appeared in the shroud, whose own crimson irises observed.
"We shall meet with each-other in 3 years…"
"Of course. My liege."
Kisune glided higher before he disappeared, waiting.

Menma blinked promptly. His pupils glimmered with a lack of exuberance.
The Uzumaki's intelligently apathetic features whirled musingly, he stared towards the dispelling chakra in the sky.
"A signal for some relaxation, nice," He nodded imperceptibly to Genma, who brought out a scroll embedded with rations and drinks. "Matatabi. Change in Kurama's sleepiness?"
"None…" The 2-tails informed, surging its chakra around the seal, unable to detect any form of tampering or hindrances. "Still sleeping."
"Must be enthralled…" Menma clasped his hands internally, concentrating on something. "Now. Let's dig in!"
He grasped the small bar of food before opening his mask discreetly, and began eating the meal granted. "Matatabi. Is the timeline we came from still in existence?"
In his words, a diminutive hesitance hummed. Matatabi silently contemplated on a satisfactory explanation before starting with weariness.
"Unfortunately. Once you died. Hagoromo and Indra and him," Matatabi hissed gently at the last word. "Changed the completion…"
"Completion?" Menma interestedly listened, wiping away numerous crumbs from his cheeks. "Meaning?"
Exhaling anciently, Matatabi shook its skull in refusal before raising a single tail despondently. "When something is wanted. That something shall desire you."
"Wha?" He inwardly, and confusedly, mumbled. Menma hurled the wrapper into his bag, his purple irises whistling cleverly. "I guess I need to learn about this alone."
He mentally-intelligently grinned, slipping his mask onto his head expeditiously, as Raido lifted a hand, signalling for the mission to start once more.
Blurring to Genma, the Uzumaki gained the straw-wearer's attention. And indiscernibly expressed a desire to regroup with the others later.
Nodding to Menma acceptingly, Genma flickered to Obito and Raido, and Hayate, countless movements of the hand and they dispelled.
Menma was rather shocked by the calmness they contained. He expected them to coerce him into continuing the mission. "It appears my other self was well affiliated with sneaking away."
"Or perhaps…I'm unneeded for this mission," Menma speedily blurred, approaching a small branch before settling. "Seal."
Entering his mindscape, Menma and Matatabi stared towards each-other momentarily. "I'm unneeded, huh?"
"It appears…" Matatabi yawned languidly before sending its pupils to Menma curiously. "What are you planning?"
Menma wittingly smiled, as he clasped his hands briefly with unemotional exuberance. "Quitting the mission."
"Surely," Matatabi softly curled up, placing its tails onto the expanse of comfortableness. "Orochimaru would not be accepting."
"And, well, Kakashi's life…"
Spinning around, Menma's purple eyes scrutinized the graciously-made plane sleeping before him, he smiled slightly in reminiscence. "I shall stay inconspicuous this time."
"Oh, and Matatabi?"
"Hm?"
"Prepared?"
"Of course…"
"Good!" Menma's mental body collapsed as he dispersed, signalling his goodbye. "Sleep for now."

Watcher 7, and Menma stood before Orochimaru calmly, while the Sannin expressed, once more, his unamused mentality.
"Menma Uzumaki. Nickname Kitsune." Orochimaru creepily grinned, licking his lips forlornly. "The negotiations shall be taken care of by the group then."
"Lord Hokage." Menma kneeled politely, his discourteousness becoming lessened. "Why are you this keen on negotiations, despite being ambushed?"
"Kakashi Hatake may be a powerful Shinobi. But what the 4th gifted him is deadly," The snake-user exhaled wondrously as he drummed a file. "The Kamui plays a part with all this."
"Kamui is a useful technique. And Obito mentioned something about the Kamui only working when Kakashi is conscious."
"Damn. Dad's granting us more mysteries then in the other timeline." Menma complimented graciously, staying in place. "Lord 4th gifted him something?"
Orochimaru glanced towards. Watcher. 7, whose head bowed. "Minato Namikaze. He gifted Kakashi and Obito with a seal. While Obito was on death's door."
"That's the only detail you shall obtain. You are eliminated from this mission. And you may be changed into a Chunin if this behaviour becomes normalcy."
Menma simply dispersed, racing out of the unlatched window expeditiously.

Naruto shot the Hiraishin Marker forward, whizzing through the air instantly. He whirled with a childish presence.
"Hah!" He catapulted the Kunai higher before he disappeared, promptly clutching his weapon. "Flying Thunder God!"
"I missed ya!" Naruto fell through the sky, briefly revelling in the peacefulness surrounding his existence. "Now. To Kakashi-Sensei!"
The Uzumaki disregarded the fact that the Kunai simply crashed into his head and blurred as the Hiraishin Symbol hovered.
Naruto quickly kneed the Kunai, lowering it at the woods encompassing the sector below. "I need a map for Iwa. If the bastard ain't coming. I'm gonna help Kakashi-Sensei. He won't perish…"

Night-Time:
Sasuke, Shizune, and Tsunade were on the quietly conducted lane of a small city, as the healer was looking for a simple inn to stay in.
The Uchiha blurred slightly, his detection abilities blared noisily. He snapped his head to Shizune, who was examining the sky.
Sasuke glanced upwards before concentrating on a small spec in the air, -He needed his Sharingan for this- and concentrated.
"It can't be…" He amusedly-inwardly smirked, while Naruto Uzumaki glided, constantly hurling his Kunai, staying in the skies. "The dumbass."
He sprang onto a roof-top, he ignored the people near him, with him connecting his hands. "Fire Style: Fire Bullets." A simple method to gain his attention quickly.
While he couldn't access the Sharingan. Naruto's determined sapphire collided with Sasuke's calculated grey, briefly.
Immediately, Naruto challengingly rose his hand, the Hiraishin Kunai blasted towards Sasuke, who leaped higher.
Sasuke grabbed it before dropping the weapon, as Naruto blinked into existence, clutching the Kunai expertly.
Silence blanketed itself onto the two of them, as Naruto extended his hand, clenching it with amicableness, with Sasuke's fists curling up frigidly.
Wordlessly, Naruto and Sasuke's fists bumped. The Uzumaki grinned peaceably, rubbing his hair hastily. "Oi. Bastard."
Sasuke eyed Naruto's worried expression, the blonde's azure spheres dimmed with seriousness. "Kakashi-Sensei's captured."
The Uchiha stood with a powerfully agile posture, he unwarily scanned Naruto's form, bowing his head musingly. "This Kakashi's not the one we were affiliated with."
"Still," Naruto clenched his fists strongly, shuddering determinedly. "Look. I understand ya. But still. This Naruto's memories show he appreciated Kakashi-Sensei, and I care for the lazy-bastard too."
Sasuke span around before ambling to a few metres, he snapped his skull to Naruto, smirking frostily. "I neither accepted nor refused."
When Naruto's mouth opened, Sasuke's clothing's edge was grabbed by Tsunade, who examined Naruto with a small cordialness.
"Hag!" Naruto cheekily bellowed, laughing immaturely with casualness. "Ya been well?"
Tsunade shook her head, ruffling Naruto's hair amicably before looking towards Sasuke and then to the Uzumaki confusedly. "You brats met before or something?"
"Nah," Naruto pointed to Sasuke merrily, retracting his hand slowly. "This kind person granted me his name as I flew through the sky."
"Cheeky bastard," Tsunade sighed expectantly before dropping Sasuke, who aloofly rubbed his clothes. "Oh well." The Sannin eyed Naruto curiously. "Hiraishin, huh?"
"Yep," Naruto stuck his tongue out excitedly, twirling the Kunai energetically. "Perfected it easily!"
Sasuke observed their conversation, his inwardness' orbs widened interestedly. "Naruto learned of the memories in this timeline."
"Would the same apply with Menma too?"
He sauntered to Naruto and heard him leap impatiently, gesturing upwards. "Sorry, hag…Gonna be bringing Sasuke!"
Before Tsunade could formulate any kind of answer, the Uzumaki hurled his Kunai skywards, blurred to Sasuke, grasped him, and promptly the 2 of them disappeared.
"Heh," Tsunade inhaled at the fleeting existences of Naruto and Sasuke, while her hand approached her pockets. "Still got the cash…"
It was stolen, by Sasuke, of course.
"No!" "No!" "No!"
Naruto laughed.
(-)
Sasuke and Naruto rested by the camp fire, as the Uchiha sealed the money away into a scroll securely.
Greatly, Sasuke, the prepared one, bought a map of each country. Currently, they were going through Iwa's one, hurriedly.
"Sasuke," Naruto leaned onto the softened grass, settling his hands to his sides. "You still kept the Rinnegan or Sharingan by a chance?"
Humming conversationally, Sasuke tapped his knee, eyeing the map carefully. "No. I can't access the Chidori either."
He then exerted his head, looking inquisitively towards Naruto, who latched his spheres drowsily. "Sage of Six Path Mode?"
"Nope," Naruto wistfully stared towards his hand, opening his eyes slightly. "Kurama better be safe…"
Sasuke smirked icily, as he placed the map onto a scroll, curling the paper up before sighing. "Sleep would be good."
Naruto nodded.

While Menma hurried.

Sadness.
