"So our biggest issue is this bitch in ice and her demon spawn?" Shigaraki said pacing Deku's bedroom floor.

"Yea."

The villain glanced over at the hero who was bitting his lip and staring down at his notebook.

"What else do you know?" he asked as his red eyes stayed steady on the UA student.

Deku looked up. He looked nervous all the sudden.

"There is more."

"I... I talked to All for One," he blurted out, "But it was an accident. I didn't even know it was him until he told me."

Tomura grinded his teeth together and let out a low hiss. For some reason he felt like his privacy was violated somehow.

"What did he tell you?!"

"I have to save Izuku in order for him to save the world. That I wouldn't be able to fight Shouto myself. If Rei gets out, it's the end. We wouldn't make it back and she would probably travel through dimensions killing people," he said looking a little frightened.

Shigaraki scratched his face, groaning with annoyance. Deku shot him a look that made him stop from scratching himself like an insane cat.

"If we let the world end then you won't be able to live with yourself," he said sighing.

"It's that... Well, what if she finds that woman and little girl to start conquering worlds? We would have to face her again if she did find them and if we made it out alive."

"That's a fair point. Do you think she is smart enough for that?"

Deku nodded, "Ruthless too."

Shigaraki nodded after a moment of quiet thinking.

"Yea you're right."

"I guess Hal is out of the picture for helping us then," Deku said, "The fact he told me that much means something... He's already helped. I saw Aizawa Sensei the first few days we were here. He's down to help too."

"Makeing alliances without anyone knowing?" Tomura said with a smirk on his face.

"All Might could help us."

"Eww, gross."

Deku shot him a dirty look. All Might was acting evil before but at least he could reedeem himself now.

"We want to go home. We need all the help we can get. It's no longer about who we like or don't like. We don't know what's going to happen the longer we stay. I don't want to be stuck here for the rest of my life. Do you?"

He knew Deku was right. He didn't have Dabi in this world. None of the others have showed up other than mentions of Toga. He wasn't sure if he wanted to stay. He couldn't be what he wanted to be.

"No one else can know about this infomation," Shigaraki said.

"What-

"Once it's leaked it can get out to anyone. Between us, we know who knows and that's it. If someone else knows, one of us blabbed."

The young hero chewed on his bottom lip for a moment before nodding. He was right. Too much stuff was making sense when it shouldn't.

"Alright."

"The next problem is when to take action."

Deku nodded as he tapped his pencil against his lips.

"We don't know where he lives but we know where he goes to school. We can't ask anyone without someone getting suspicious. What do you suggest?"

"I would follow him. He seems to hate you or something already for some reason, so I don't want him blowing up half the block. I would do my best but I can't hide that well. It's not like we can bug his clothes. He wouldn't let us near him."

"When do you want to start?" Deku asked.

Shigaraki gave him a weird look before putting on a small smile.

"You want to start today?"

Shigaraki nodded.

"Those wanna bes get out at four in the afternoon right? I'll just scope the place out now. I'll let you know what I know if there is anything to tell. It's hard to say if we will get anywhere today but we have to try."

Tomura had done stake outs before. Usually with Toga's help yea but she did all the creeping around. All he noticed was there was a bunch of sidekicks as teachers than the actual heroes. Some of the kids left early but none of them had that two toned hair Shouto Todoroki had. Now he was really wishing he had snacks. He could've asked Saiko for a pizza but he wasn't in his own dimension. He was the best to sneak things around. He was beginning to appericate everyone he had under him now.

I hope this works and doesn't take weeks. My fucking sanity doesn't have weeks. Probably not even days at this point.

It was a odd feeling but he felt itchy for some reason. His skin felt like it wanted to crawl and his neck hairs stood on end. He whipped around but no one was there. It felt like someone was watching him.

I hate this feeling.

He left out a shaky breath and kept his eyes trained on the students coming out of the school. He watched as his hero version walked out of the school and the feeling intensfied. Tenko Shimura. It made his skin crawl.

Fucking wanna be.

Who's the real wanna be? He grinded his teeth.

It took another eleven minutes before he saw Shouto walk out of UA. He looked grumpy but it was hard to tell from the distance between them. The asshole stopped and began looking around. Shigaraki shrank away. He must've gotten the feeling someone was watching him. After a minute, Shigaraki watched as the kid walked towards the ruined part of the city and that made him frown.

Maybe it's different here. Endeavor isn't loaded. That would make all the difference but why would he live in some shitty part of town? Tons of criminals would be on that side hiding away. They couldn't trust someone that pretended to be hero that much could they?

Tomura ran to keep up but made sure to keep his distance. It was when Shouto stopped at an abandoned warehouse when it dawned on him.

He's looking for his psycho mother.

He pulled out his phone, sending Deku updates. The kid sure replied fast.

I don't think I'm going to find out tonight. I'll wait another hour before leaving.

It had to be the longest hour of his life. This kid went through eight buildings in an hour and each time he looked more and more pissed. After each one, he pulled out his phone and started typing on it. Shigaraki wondered if he had a list of some type on there to keep track.

Once his changed his direction, the villain decided to follow the dangerous kid some more. He headed towards a middle class neighborhood but Tomura wasn't familiar with it since he only walked around in certain parts of the city. He was running out of high buildings and he was almost sure most of those houses would have cameras if not all of them. Who knows if Shouto had survalliance put up without people knowing.

I wonder if he's just visiting or he actually lives here. This whole thing was almost a waste of time.

Shouto walked up to a plain white house. He dug around in his pocket and pulled something shiny out.

Finally.

Shigaraki watched for a few minutes to make sure he didn't come back out.

I guess he does. Time to get the fuck out of here.

Deku waited for Shigaraki on the living room couch. He mindlessly flipped through the channels trying to keep his mind occupied but it seemed to not be working. He was anxious and he hadn't heard from the villain in thirty minutes. He had hoped his mom would come home at least... he felt rather lonely. She might've not been his actual mother but she said things that made him feel better anyways.

He finally left the couch and headed into the kitchen.

Deku wasn't the best cook but he had gotten better since he had been here. Bakugou was a big dick but at least he would cook for everyone a few nights a week with Kirishima and even Kaminari sometimes. He hasn't seen them in some time though... they were probably busy.

Looks like we only have stuff for spaghetti. I haven't had that in a while and I can't mess that up I guess.

He started throwing the stuff into pots and started seasoning the meat. He would end up eating alone but that was ok. He would just separate everything into those containers for everyone else. It seemed to be the thing they did around here for each other. It did feel really lonely. It made him miss the chaos of their common area back at UA.

Deku smiled sadly. It was weird how those things that seemed to be annoying sometimes but now they weren't happening anymore, he missed it.

Funny isn't it?

He was pulled out of his thoughts when a hand grabbed his left shoulder. It was quick, but he managed to dodge the fist flying at his face. He was inches away from Shinso's angry purple eyes. He wandered if he knew it was him or if he had lucky guess when he threw that punch. He shoved the angry guy back giving him a dirty look.

He probably deserved the punch but they were near a hot stove.

Deku eyed him as he stirred the food.

"Not while someone is making food."

"You think I give a shit-

"You would've been the one who would've been burned."

Shinso stared at him for moment.

"Why did you do that?" he asked.

Deku knew what he was asking. Whenever he thought of Eri, he felt ashamed. She was beautiful like an angel and she wasn't his. Not even for the night they spent together. She thought about Izuku- not him and it did hurt but he didn't want to deny her. She needed help and that seemed all he could do. He didn't want to have this talk yet but it was time since he almost got punched in the face.

"I did it because she asked me too. Have you talked to her?"

"Why would that matter?"

"I didn't realize helping her fulfill something she wanted, that it would hurt other people. She didn't disclose you liked her."

He stared at Deku. The young hero turned around stirred the food again then turned off the noodles.

"Would that have made a difference?"

"Yea it would have. I don't know you but I am friends with you back home. I wouldn't have done that."

Shinso relaxed a little but the hurt was clear as day on his face.

"Why didn't you just use your quirk on me?" Deku asked curiously.

"I've tried on Izuku before and it didn't work or it didn't have a big affect on him. So I just didn't think it would work on you anyways."

"Interesting."

The purple haired man couldn't help but give him a small smile.

"I guess I can see why Eri would like you more anyways. Katsuki was right, there is something weird about you but it draws everyone in."

"Oh... Um thanks?" the young hero said with his freckled cheeks turning pink.

Goddamn I am horrible.

After a moment of awkward silence, Deku cleared his throat.

"Wanna eat?"

Shinso nodded quietly.

Deku mixed up the pasta, meat and sauce together into a giant bowl. Shinso helped divide it up into the containers for everyone else before they sat down and started eating.

I really thought he would hit me anyways. I guess I made it out with that conversation. What luck. I don't blame him though.

Shinso seemed really into his spaghetti. Deku decided it was now or never to start asking questions.

"I um... know things have happened already but what can you tell me about Shouto?"

"You haven't learned enough about him already? You did fight him twice didn't you?"

"I did. Fighting doesn't always reveal everything. But what do you know?"

He sat back, letting out a sigh.

"His mind is like poison. I could control him for about ten minutes max but there was something about him that made my brain fuzzy. Like his dark thoughts were creeping into my own mind. It made me sick to my stomach. I just don't think I could do it again even if it was life or death."

"That's odd. When you used it on my at the sports festival, I managed to break my own finger to bring me out of it. You never said anything to me about my thought invading yours. Perhaps your quirk is evolved enough to feel the thoughts of the one you're trying to control."

"You... I fought you? At UA?"

"Yea. You're actually in my class. You got transferred to 1A. Aizawa sensei trained you and you use the same capturing weapon he does."

"Oh."

Shinso looked a little dazed but he had a smile on his face but it fell slightly as hurt filled his eyes.

"Never thought I would be good enough for UA."

"I thought the same for myself... You have a great quirk."

I never thought I would make it this far...

Deku looked down at his half eaten food wondering when he could go home. He missed it more now than ever.

He missed his friends.

Correction on the number of chapters. On here it will be 32 since on AO3 I left an author's note. Have a great night!
