Disclaimer: Here we are with another new chapter, with a bloody battle with Team Rocket and Setsuna's hybrids; who will win and die? Well, I think you'll find out here in this chapter.

Chapter 19: A bloody battle
"What do you mean you haven't heard from Tracey or Misty?"
"It's true, I mean normally Tracey or even our baby sister would call and let us know they're okay by now," Violet informed Professor Samuel Oak with concern on her face as it was clear neither of them contacting the Cerulean Gym or even Pallet Town was never a good sign. "I'm telling you, something bad might've happened and we don't know what."
"Let's not jump to any conclusions right now, Violet," Oak assured the violet-haired young woman as Rotom floated next to him. "I'm sure that they're doing well and will let us know how things are going for them before you know it."
"I just hope you're right," said a still frowning Violet as she thought about what Oak told her. "It's just that Lily, Daisy, and I have been feeling rather uneasy lately and prayed they'll return safe and sound."
Oak nodded his head, understanding that feeling all too well. "Trust me, I know since so far there's no word from Ash or even Gary lately," he informed the violet-haired young woman. "Although I have a feeling there was more to Misty wanting to meet up with Ash that I'm not yet aware of?"
Violet thought about it for a moment, knowing there was another reason for Misty in her wanting to go to Kalos and see how Ash was doing. "Well, to be honest…" she was contemplating what her next words were going to be, but knowing he might find her somewhat crazy if she told him. "There actually is and it is something that I couldn't really believe when I spoken with her before she left."
"Oh?" asked Oak with slight curiosity on his face. "What exactly is this reason anyway?"
"Well, you wouldn't really believe me…."
"I'm sure I will," he assured her again, especially as he thought back to when Ash told him while staying at the Pokémon Center at Viridian City. Oak remembers about a Pokémon that he said flew over the rainbow towards the end of his first day as a Pokémon Trainer, no less. "Besides, if Ash was willing to tell me all about his experiences when he returned from Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova, and from taking on the Battle Frontier, I'm sure you'll have interesting news to share with me too."
"Okay but promise not to laugh or think I'm crazy," said Violet before taking a deep breath and knowing there was now no turning back. "She actually has feelings for Ash and I felt pretty bad about having previously asked her to look after the Gym while Lily, Daisy, and I traveled the world ever since hearing this coming from her."
However, the Professor smiled, seeing the look. "Yes, I know, even Delia knows that your sister likes her son," Oak said with a smile on his face, and he was still worried about them too.
After all, he hadn't heard from anyone, which began to worry him. "Look, my sisters and I, we're going to find them; this isn't right as Misty always picks up when we call her something's happened," Violet said with determination in her eyes.
The Professor nodded, feeling bad for them. "I know, but please wait until we find more information on their last location okay?" Oak asked, looking at the three with concern.
The three sisters soon sighed as all they wanted to do was leave and find their baby sister. "Alright, but please tell us soon if you hear anything," Daisy said with a frown now forming on her face as Oak nodded at the three.
Meanwhile, back within the forest, Setsuna was helped to the side by Carol, seeing that her mistress needed to rest. The other hybrids all cried out, charging at the Team Rocket agents, and the group thought they could win in the battle with the hybrids.
The task force leader watched as the battle started and smiled, seeing three hybrids back away. "Running away?" he asked and let out a laugh. "I thought this was a fight till the end!" he cried out and then looked to the others.
"This is going to be easy!" one male agent said with a chuckle and then looked at Setsuna and the Chikorita hybrid. "How weak, it seems turning the two of us made you weak."
Carol growled at this, and she wanted to make this fool suffer. "I think you better keep your mouth shut, stupid human!" Carol yelled and looked at Setsuna, who now had the same smile.
Setsuna looked at the Team Rocket agent, and she, like Carol, felt the same anger building inside. "Yes, my child, you can deal with them. I'll be fine as you make them all suffer."
Carol nodded at her mistress with a smile forming on her face and then used her vines. "Now it's time for you to die!" Carol yelled as she watched Brook biting into the neck of another Team Rocket agent.
The Team Rocket agent laughed at this before Carol's vines wrapped around his neck. "Argh, let go!" he cried out and head-butted the Chikorita hybrid.
Carol backed away and rubbed her head when the Team Rocket agent did this, and she wasn't happy. "Argh, you fucker, I'm going to kill you slower for doing that to me!"
However, the agent only scoffed, hearing this before laughing. "Well, I'm sorry, but you'll never get your wish," he said with a dark smirk forming on his face. "It just came to me that you're a Pokémon now, and I have your male evolved form."
Carol did say anything, and she could hear the cries as she watched a Victreebel hybrid set on fire. "Ahh, it burns it HURTS!" the Victreebel hybrid screamed in pain. "Please, make it stop!"
Carol continued to watch as the red-headed Team Rocket agent laughed as he used his Magmar to kill the hybrid. "Just kill who you can!" he cried out as other members nodded.
Setsuna scowled, hearing this and seeing the brutal and painful death that happened to one of her hybrids filled Setsuna with unending rage. "Oh they will all pay for this, all of them shall suffer!" Setsuna said, watching as another hybrid soon died, her neck broken by an Onix.
Brook and her mate cried as the two were knocked back by two Team Rocket agents working together. "You can't beat us, you disgusting freaks!" he cried out, looking at his Tyranitar. "Okay, you know what to do Tyranitar!"
Screams continued to fill the area around them as one Team Rocket had his head cut off while another ripped in half. The group leader continued watching with a smirk on his face, and he didn't care that he saw some of his men getting killed.
Brook and Blissey stared at each other, not saying anything, as neither would let this stop them from living here. "No, we won't let you!" Brook cried out as her mate Blissey nodded.
"Shall we join in?" Blissey asked with a giggle and looked at her mate.
"Yes, we should," Brook replied, knowing that they needed to aid their fellow hybrids and deal with Team Rocket once and for all, part of Brook wishing that Giovanni was there so she could finish him off personally.
Blissey stayed silent, nodding her head, and together they aided in the clash against Team Rocket and ensured they never harmed this forest ever again. Without hesitation, Brook and Blissey both unleashed a combined Egg Bomb attack which caught the Team Rocket member's Tyranitar before it could attempt to unleash a powerful Hyper Beam on Carol.
"Nice that you decided to join in," began Setsuna, who started glowing bright green as Team Rocket took note of this and wondered what was going on.
"What is that?" asked one of the Grunts, watching the female spirit glowing bright green, having no clue on what it meant at all. "Why's this woman suddenly glowing? It can't be an evolution since only Pokémon can evolve!"
"I have no idea what she's up to," added the leader of the task force, scowling as he and a few of his men needed to deal with Setsuna before she revealed something up her sleeve since it's clear the rest of Team Rocket was busy in fighting against the hybrids. "However, we'll make certain she wishes she never decided to get in our way."
As he and a few men prepared themselves to make their move while Setsuna least expected it, her eyes started glowing bright red as she slowly started laughing. "Yes, my power is slowly returning fools. Just a little bit longer," she said to herself as she knew that none, apart from herself, were aware of the amulet's location and was determined to keep it that way until she fully regained her full strength, which wouldn't take much longer now. "With a little more time, I will be back to what I was 8000 years ago and then Sir Aaron will pay... one way or another…."
While also savoring this moment, she failed to notice the task force leader was getting ready to open fire on her, as did the small group of men accompanying him. "On my command…" he said with an evil grin on his face as he believed Setsuna was not going to see this coming. "Open fire!"
Without hesitation, the small group of Team Rocket members immediately gunned down Setsuna when she least expected it. However, their eyes soon widened in shock and horror at seeing their bullets going right through her, and Setsuna didn't even feel anything. "What the hell?!" asked one of the Grunts in disbelief at seeing no injuries being inflicted upon her whatsoever.
"How are our bullets going straight through her without any sort of wound being formed?"
"This makes no sense, she's not a Pokémon, let alone a Ghost-type one, or even one of those damned hybrids," muttered the leader of the task force, trying to process the whole thing but knew that they needed to deal with this woman.
"Ahh, yes, you see you're right in everything you've said. As you can see, I'm not a Pokémon or a Hybrid, nor am I human…" laughed Setsuna, starting to give a maniacal chuckle to the Team Rocket members. Setsuna then noticed them when they realized their weapons were not affecting her. "Your pitiful weapons are nothing compared to what I can do."
"What?!" exclaimed the Team Rocket task force leader in disbelief, something that Setsuna found to be rather amusing coming from a criminal like him. "You're lying I don't believe a word you say!"
He immediately fired his gun at her, and she chuckled again the more he attempted to end her but to no avail. "Just what the hell are you?!" he demanded in anger as he continued firing at Setsuna.
"Just someone who has more power than you ever dreamed of," Setsuna told him, her face becoming even more sinister as she had a bright green aura surrounding her, and it only made her laugh at the power she now felt surging through her. "Allow me to demonstrate…."
Surrounded by the mysterious green aura again, Setsuna grinned as she watched several men standing next to the task force leader suddenly being decapitated. She watched their blood splattering all over the place, which caught him and his remaining Team Rocket members were completely shocked by what happened. "But… how did you…" he didn't finish as another Grunt had been torn apart from behind.
"Now, what was that you were saying about me lying?" asked Setsuna as she slowly approached the Team Rocket Task Force leader, floating towards where he stood. "If I was lying, then there wouldn't be dead bodies all around you would there?"
"Hey bitch!" came another Grunt as he tried to fire at her, shooting multiple bullets to take her out, only to be met with the same result.
All Setsuna did was shake her head at his pitiful attempt to eliminate her. "You are really becoming annoying…" she said before the man's head was torn right off to keep him from saying anything, and her attention was back towards the task force leader, who was giving her a hate-filled glare. "Now where was I?"
The task force leader said nothing looking at Setsuna. "I will not let you win. I must complete my mission, and I won't let you win!" he yelled at Setsuna, only for the woman to laugh at the fool.
The leader looked around to see more of his squad getting killed as Setsuna laughed as the two female grunts she turned killed a male. "You see, we have greater power now," the Setsuna told him and looked to see the Salamence and Salazzle hybrid killing more Team Rocket grunts.
Carol smiled as she and Brook killed two grunts, but she watched as another fired the gun, killing an Arbok woman. The bullet had gone through her skull as her brains landed on the floor while the male laughed. "Stupid freak should have just let us capture you freaks," he said, kicking the dead Arbok woman.
"You bastard, I'm going to make you pay for that!" Carol yelled, but the grunt laughed and shot her in the leg. Carol soon screamed in pain, feeling the bullet hit her leg; the Chikorita woman fell to the ground holding her bleeding leg.
A few of the other hybrids looked after, seeing what had happened to their fellow hybrid. Setsuna also watched this and growled with hatred seeing what happened as the leader laughed. "And what's so funny?" Setsuna asked as she looked away from Carol.
The task force leader laughed and then looked at Setsuna. "Oh, it's nothing we're not going to kill all of you, and some of you are carrying children now," he said with a dark look forming in his eyes.
Blissey didn't like this, and neither did Brook, hearing that Team Rocket wanted to capture any pregnant hybrid. Carol also became greatly worried, thinking about her mates as they were pregnant, that's thanks to Ashley. "I can't let them use me. I want to stay here and with Ashley, Lisa, and the others."
As the screams and scent of death filled the air, Carol could see both sides had suffered as many hybrids were dead. However, the same was said about the Team Rocket grunts as Carol looked at their dead bodies.
"Sir, we are losing our troops. What should we do?" the male grunt asked as he used his Pokémon to kill another hybrid. "I don't think we'll last much longer!" he cried out as the female water hybrid cried out as she was cut in half by his Scyther.
"NOOOOOO!" A Fearow hybrid cried out in pain as she rushed to the Dewgong hybrid. "I'll kill you she was my mate!" the Fearow woman screamed in rage.
Setsuna watched as the leader saw more death, but he knew his side was losing, and it made her smile. "What's the matter is this not going the way you wanted?" she asked with a smug look on her face.
"Sir, we need to..." the same grunt from before cried out, but he never got to finish as the Fearow woman let out a scream before she tackled him to the ground and pecked his eyes out. "AHHH!" he cried out in pain, trying to push her off, but it was useless.
"My eyes, oh fuck my eyes!" he continued to cry out in pain as blood came out from where his eyes used to be, but the Fearow only smiled at her work. "You bitch I'll kill you for this!"
Once, the grunt put his hands over his face as he could hear the Fearow crying. "That is for my mate, and now I'm going to end your life!" she cried out, only for the grunts Scyther to kill the Fearow with a quick slice to her neck.
'That should shut you up!' laughed Scyther with a sadistic grin upon ending the life of the Fearow woman in question with its blades and feeling her blood all over its body before observing the battlefield for its next victim. 'Now, let's see… who should I kill next?'
Upon Carol, the Bug/Flying-type had started chuckling to itself as it prepared to swoop down and attempted to cut her in half. 'I got you now!' it declared with its blood-coated blades ready for the kill.
"Damn it!" cursed Carol as she barely managed to avoid being sliced, but her shoulder got injured in the ensuring process, causing her to wince in pain. "I'm really starting to hate Team Rocket right now, more than I already do!"
Soon enough, Brook appeared to check up on Carol. "You alright?" she asked the other female hybrid, wanting to make sure she didn't suffer from any serious or fatal injuries.
"I'm okay Brook the wound's not that serious..."
"Well, that's good news," Brook replied with a smile, then realized something almost immediately as normally Carol wouldn't be by herself without a good reason regardless of the situation at hand. "Where's Lisa?"
"She, Misty, May, Dawn, Serena, Lillie, Melody, Latias, have been sent to go after Ashley," explained Carol, as much as she liked the idea of having Ashley with them again as this couldn't have happened at a worse time. "At least that's what Mistress Setsuna told me; I don't know all the details right now."
"Wait really?" asked a surprised Brook upon hearing what Carol was telling her.
Carol nodded her head. "Yes," she answered, knowing this was going to be rather problematic but at the same time believing it'll be worth it in the long run.
"I see, I just hope they'll be successful in their mission," said Brook before examining Carol's injured shoulder, remembering the training she had in becoming a Pokémon Doctor prior, and knew she needed to do her best to treat her fellow hybrid as soon as possible. "We better get your shoulder fixed up right away."
Carol nodded with a smile while holding her shoulder and hoped this battle would end soon. "After all, I want to help the others," Carol thought, hoping to cuddle up with them all in her arms.
Another scream soon cried out in pain as they looked over to see Iris, who got shot in her leg and fell on her butt. "My leg it hurts!"
"IRIS!"
Cilan made her way towards where Iris was, checking to make sure she wasn't dead, and relief filled her face upon finding out that the girl she loved was indeed alive despite her injuries. "Are you okay?" she asked.
"Yeah, I'm fine," Iris replied with a reassuring smile on her face before embracing Cilan almost immediately. "Don't worry, Cilan, you're not going to lose me that easily. Besides, when this is all over, we should consider forming a family," Iris said with a smile and placed a hand on her stomach. "Well, if you didn't impregnate me while you change into a sexy hybrid."
"I like the sound of that," Cilan began smiling brightly at the idea of having a family with Iris when their new home was at peace the moment Team Rocket had all got taken down. "I would love having a family with you, but first things first."
The two lovers smiled and shared a very brief kiss before looking at the Team Rocket member. "Yeah, we need to deal with them; first, my love, then we can ask Brook in you'll become a mother," Cilan said as she giggled with joy and knew what to do with this grunt.
The Team Rocket grunt scoffed, looking at the two females. Iris and Cilan could hear this, and it made the two hybrids frown, hearing the scoff coming from the grunt. "He thinks that we are weak, my love," Iris said with a grin forming on her face as the Dragonite woman licked her lips.
Cilan soon giggled as she pulled her mate closer. "Hmm, I think this fool thinks we are, I will say it is rude," Cilan said with a smile and kissed her mate.
The kiss was only short as the two knew they needed to deal with this grunt as they saw another member getting torn in half. "You see that," Cilan and Iris said together with smiles. "That will soon happen to you, or we could find another way to kill you."
However, the Team Rocket grunt said nothing at the two hybrids even with the threat. "I will not get taunted by freaks like you!" he yelled and expected them to retort, but he got nothing from the two.
Iris smiled as she looked in the grunt's direction and quickly used her wing to fly over and slashed the Team Rocket grunt across the neck. His blood splattered on Iris's face, but the Dragonite woman didn't even care as she watched the man die.
Cilan had seen this, and she giggled and then ran towards her mate before hugging Iris. "Oh, Iris, that was such a wonderful kill," Cilan giggled and kissed her lover.
Setsuna smiled, seeing this kill, and soon her eyes turned to the task force leader. "And you've lost another member, and here you are," she said as a dark aura formed around her body. "Do you still think that you can win? Do you honestly think that you'll win or you'll leave this forest alive?"
The task force leader looked at Setsuna with rage and then looked into the sky, seeing the helicopters arriving. "Yes, back up has come," he thought with a grin.
Setsuna only sighed and looked into the sky, seeing at least ten helicopters coming closer. However, there wasn't a hint of fear on her face, and soon she laughed at this sight. "What are you laughing at!" he yelled with anger at the spirit of the forest.
Setsuna continued laughing as the other hybrids, and the few Team Rocket grunts all looked at the hybrids. They all wanted to know what was happening as a few older hybrids that had lived here for many years looked at each other. "I think that we should show them that this is a war. One that they will never win," The Golem woman said with a smirk killing the Scyther.
"Yes, and now you shall see why," a Hydreigon woman said, looking at all the flying hybrids around them. "What do you say we show them all what we can do thanks to mistress Setsuna!" she cried out, and many of them all cried out, flying in the air.
Setsuna watched with a smile and looked at the leader. "Brook, bring him here. I want him to see this before we end his life," Setsuna said with a smirk.
"Sir, we have to run. We're all fucked we need..." one tried to say, but he soon got his neck snapped by Carol using her vines.
The leader watched as many of his remaining men soon tried running away from here. However, each one was quickly killed as one was stabbed in the back by a female Sandslash hybrid woman.
The hybrids made sure no one would leave this place alive as the task force leader backed away in fear.
The leader then looked into the sky, seeing the hybrids firing their attacks on the Helicopters. He watched as the backup he thought would help get taken out one by one.
Setsuna laughed while seeing the explosions in the air only made her smile. Her attention quickly turned to the leader as the explosions continued to happen above them. "Well, as you can see, your backup has failed to help you out. And now this is where you will die," Setsuna told him and looked into the sky.
"If you're going to kill me, then just fucking do it then!" He yelled at Setsuna as he looked at all the death around him.
All the hybrids nodded as the two former grunts picked up the radio. "Mistress, we have the radio," the Salazzle hybrid said smiling.
Not letting the smile from her face drop, she nodded at her child. "Good, tell your former boss what happened here. Tell him that you are the last one and you're dying. That will stop him from coming here again."
The Salazzle hybrid nodded with a grin on her face and pushed the radio's button. "Giovanni, sir, we've got attacked by the hybrids here; everyone here is dead. I'm all that's left but they got me too I can see my guts," the Salazzle woman said with a grin as she coughed in pain.
Setsuna smiled while she looked at the leader as he tried to say something, but he got quickly stopped. The Golem woman grabbed him by the throat and laughed. "Now, now, let her finish. It is rude to interrupt someone when their talking," she said with a laugh before looking at Setsuna.
"What do you plan to do next?" the leader said, waiting to hear Giovanni and also what Setsuna was planning before he heard his boss then started talking.
"That's none of your concern, especially as you'll be dead soon."
All the man did was glare at his enemies and was then going to say something else when Brook interrupted. "He's lying, not everyone from Team Rocket is dead," she said as it was clear there were members that weren't present at all before the invasion even started. "There are still three members out there somewhere, but even I don't know where."
"Ha, I bet you're talking about those idiots Jessie, James, and Meowth," the task force leader commented with a scowl, despite the injuries he had from the ensuing battle, and Brook could tell by the tone of his voice that he didn't care for the trio at all. "No matter, as far as I'm concerned, they're probably dead by now and finally out of our hair for good."
Brook just glared at the man. "You're lying…." Brook said with malice, and while part of her did feel sorry for the three, given how the rest of Team Rocket wanted them dead.
"Am I?" asked the leader, not caring if he was to meet his end at this very moment, believing that even after that, Giovanni would ultimately accomplish his greatest goal. "I'm sure you'll be surprised when you realize the truth."
With that being said, Brook proceeded to stab her hand through his chest and finished him off personally. "He was talking too much anyway…" she scowled, thinking about the trio and where they could've gone to, let alone the fact that there was a chance they could potentially be dead.
"You don't need to worry about the three missing Team Rocket members, they're still alive…."
Brook turned her attention towards Setsuna, her expression turning into surprise when hearing that coming from her mistress. "How do you know this?" she asked.
"I just know, and don't worry, they'll actually have a fate even worse than death once we find them eventually," she replied to Brook with a reassuring smile on her face, knowing that they were once again safe now that Team Rocket had been dealt with making them all smile. "For now, let us return to and wait for Lisa and her group, hopefully they will be successful in bringing Ashley back."
"Well, let's hope that they'll actually return Ashley to us," began Brook with a frown on her face, even when Blissey came to help cheer her up.
"They will," assured Carol as she joined the rest of her fellow hybrids and gave a bright smile, although they would have to have a bath when they returned to their home. "You need to have faith in Lisa and the others."
Remaining silent, Brook slowly nodded her head and then held Blissey close to her almost right away. "Okay, I trust you," she replied after thinking about what Setsuna revealed earlier and what Carol told her.
"I'm glad to hear that," said Carol, and then turned her attention towards the distance. "Hopefully it won't take too long for them to complete their assignment."
Lucario growled in anger, having sensed so many deaths that took place and had a feeling both Ash and Anabel felt it as well. "You sensed it too, huh?" came the lavender-haired female hybrid with a frown on her face. "So many lives fading away…."
'Yes, I know….' Lucario replied, scowling at the fact none of those from Team Rocket didn't stand a chance with Setsuna, not that he cared for those dishonorable criminals. 'This has to be more of Setsuna's doing… there's no mistaking it.'
Neither Ash nor Anabel said a word, especially since they knew how callous Setsuna could be in general, but there was more. 'To make matters worse, she is already regaining more of her power as we speak,' he told the two. 'It won't be much longer before her full strength is restored, then she'll convert the entire world into hybrids to serve her for all eternity.'
"Wait is this true?"
'I'm afraid so, Ash,' explained the Fighting/Steel-type with a frown, wishing there was good news that he wanted to share, but there's nothing given the current circumstances. 'Our only means of stopping her once and for all is to find where that damned amulet is located and destroy it completely this should save everyone.'
"But will it be enough?" asked Anabel with concern in her voice. "Not that I'm against this but how do we know if it'll take away her power once her amulet is destroyed."
'It'll do more than just that, much more,' answered Lucario, having realized there was much more to the amulet being hidden than just it being needed to restore her lost power. 'I believe that without it, she will be unable to remain in this world any longer.'
"Okay, I think I'm starting to see where you're getting at, Lucario," began Ash, knowing that she would do everything in her power to destroy the amulet. Ash also wanted to prevent any more people she cared about from becoming hybrids that would do nothing but serve her. "I just hope it would also undo the spell that she used to transform us into what we are too."
Lucario knew it would be tough for him to answer, given how there wasn't any concrete way for those who got turned into hybrids to become normal again. 'I can't say for certain, Ash,' he said after a moment of silence, and part of him prayed it was the case. 'The problem is finding where Setsuna has hidden it, and I can't sense its location at all.'
"You had to bring that up…" Ash muttered to herself with a sigh, having wished this was a nightmare she was having at one point and how she would wake up with her friends all by her side, including their respective Pokémon as well.
"Ash, you have to remember that even Lucario has his share of limits," said Anabel as she looked at the Pikachu girl, knowing they still had a lot more to do before they were ready to go through with their mission to stop Setsuna for good. "He wouldn't have been able to train us if he is able to stop her himself."
Ash nodded, hearing Anabel telling her this, but she knew this meant one thing. "I'm just worried," the Pikachu hybrid said with a frown before she looked at the others. "With Team Rocket gone Setsuna will come after us next."
No one said anything hearing this from their friend, as they knew Ash was right; Setsuna would come and finish this. Once and for all, if needed, Lucario knows that Setsuna was getting tired of this.
Mallow felt the same after all the three still had their minds, and Setsuna wouldn't allow this to stand within her forest. "Then, what should we do?" Mallow asked as she looked at Lucario. "We're still not ready to face her."
Lucario looked at the three female hybrids, knowing that all three were correct. 'I see and your all right, she will bring all your friends here to make sure you join her once again,'
Ash didn't like this and started to think about what they could do and feared what Setsuna would try and do next. "Then we need to hurry and find this amulet. If we can and destroy it, I mean, that should slow her down."
With everyone remaining silent, they began to think over their next move and how to handle their friends. "What should we do with our friends, if they attack?" Mallow asked as she looked at Lucario, and she knew that all the others would attack to get Ash back to her former mindset.
"Well, I have got all of them pregnant," Ash added, knowing that she could have done the same to Mallow and Anabel.
However, hearing this from the Pikachu girl made the two blush thinking about becoming mothers, but the two could hear the whispers in the back of their minds.
Lucario looked at all three females before feeling Setsuna's powers coming back to her. 'I know you're all worried when your friends come here. I will tell you that you have to keep your minds focused.'
All three nodded and looked into the sky and then at each other. "We'll keep fighting, and then we'll stop Setsuna," Ash said with a smile on her face and looked at Mallow and Anabel.
The two female hybrids nodded at this, and both had a smile on their faces. "Your right Ash, we'll keep fighting this crazy bitch and kick as crazy bitch," Mallow said, showing the two a smile.
Lucario hoped that the three could stop Setsuna, but he knew that fighting Sir Aaron's old friend wasn't going to be easy. He could only hope that nothing else would stop them, but Lucario whish his friend was here to help.
Meanwhile, May ran through the woods, hoping to reach Ashley and save her from the human mind that took over their lover. She soon looked over, seeing Misty running next to her since they left Setsuna; none of them said anything.
"I do hope that we can help her," Serena said, but she didn't look at the others, as all they did was keep running.
"Yeah, me too… I mean, sooner or later we're bound to eventually catch up with her and get her back on our side."
"She's right, besides Mistress Setsuna trusted us with the task specifically while she and the others deal with Team Rocket," added Lisa, agreeing with May. They all hoped to find Ash and get her back to her original way of thinking before it was too late. "On the other hand, those dishonourable poachers aren't exactly hard to take down."
"Unless they have hidden surprises," began May as she and Dawn remembered all the times they had to deal with the trio in their respective home regions. "I mean, if Dawn and I have seen it with Jessie, James, and Meowth, then the rest of Team Rocket would probably do so too."
"Indeed, then again, I do have to wonder about if those three would be among the casualties that Mistress Setsuna would cause on Team Rocket," Dawn started speaking, thinking about how she hadn't seen the Team Rocket trio since after the Sinnoh League.
All Lisa did was shrug, having not encountered Jessie, James, and Meowth despite hearing about them from the others. "I wouldn't really know to be honest," she replied to the blunette with a smile on her face. "We'll just have to wait and find out from Mistress Setsuna once we accomplish our mission."
Part of her was curious about what they were like, provided they were alive, and they found the three at some point. "Then again, if they survived and could be converted into hybrids, it would prove rather interesting as well," she continued.
Dawn nodded, smiling back at Lisa. "Yeah, that's true," she said before noticing that Misty was pretty bummed out lately ever since their encounter with Tracey, Clemont, and Bonnie earlier, including how the three humans managed to escape them at the last minute. "Is something, wrong Misty?"

"Oh really?" asked Dawn, not too easily convinced as she looked at Misty, as did the other girls that were present since it's clear there was more to her state that she wasn't telling them, and it made the group even more worried. "Doesn't look like it to me."
Melody was the first to realize why their mate was like this ultimately. "I think I know why she's feeling down," she told the others, knowing she wanted to tell them but couldn't do so in front of Misty in case what Tracey revealed could affect her again.
"Is that right?" asked a surprised Serena as she looked at Melody. "What exactly could've done this to Misty?"
"I'll tell you, but we're going to have to talk to one another in private," said Melody with a frown, hoping that her mates would understand why it needed to be done. "Could you please come with me? To that nearby tree perhaps girls?"
May, Serena, Dawn, Lisa, and Lillie all nodded their heads before following Melody to where she wanted to speak with them. "So, do you mind telling us what's going on with Misty?" began the brown-haired female hybrid from Petalburg City as she's never seen the orange-haired girl like this before and hoped they'll be able to help her.
Hearing this made Melody frown, taking a deep breath as she thought about what she wanted to say without the others getting the wrong idea. "You remember when Tracey brought up Misty's parents during that encounter earlier?" she asked them, thinking back to when it looked like the Tomboyish Mermaid was moments away from regaining her human mind. "It seems it actually had more of an impact on her than we actually thought."
The others all looked at each other and became worried that Misty could regain her human mind. "We need to make sure she'll stay how she is, we can't have Misty get her human mind back," Dawn said as she looked at her mates with fear in her eyes.
The others all knew Dawn was right, as they all feared that Misty could get her human mind back at any second. Hearing this, Melody became concerned as she looked at her lover, seeing Misty still lost in deep thought.
"What should we do then?" Melody asked as she whispered to the others, hoping that Misty would stay with them.
"Maybe we should keep an eye on her," Lillie said with a frown and hoped they could save Ashley from her foolish human mind.
All the female hybrids nodded, and they smiled and hugged each other, and then without saying anything else, they walked over to Misty. "Hey Misty," May began with a happy smile and hugged her lover.
Misty smiled as she looked at the brunette as Misty looked at the Glaceon hybrid with love. "Oh, hey May," Misty said, bringing May closer.
"Are you okay Misty?" Asked May with concern and could see the tears within Misty's eyes, and it's something that May hated seeing from her friend and lover.
Misty sniffed and wiped away her tears, and looked at May. "Yeah, I'm okay; just hearing about my family hurt me. I always miss my parents no matter how much time passes."
The other female hybrids looked at Misty, feeling sad for her, all of them thinking about their parents, and frowned. "Look maybe we can change our family into sexy hybrids once we help Ashley," Serena said, thinking about her mother, hoping to change her, and thinking what she would become.
The others all smiled and nodded. "We will need to get them here first," Lillie said with a smile, knowing she could change her family.
"I know once we get Ashley back and add the new girls with her we can have some sexy fun with them," Lisa said with a grin, just thinking about being with Ashley.

"They might be after the other humans," said May knowing her little sister still wanted to get her mate. "I hope Maxine will get her chance to make Bonnie her mate."

"No, it's not that at all…." she replied to Melody as she was still sad over being reminded of people she lost before becoming an Azumarill hybrid. "It's just that my encounter with Tracey and the others nearly caused reawakened my human side."
The Jigglypuff girl frowned again, knowing how much it hurt her to be reminded of deceased loved ones, and it made her think about her older sister. "If it makes you feel any better, my sister and I don't remember much when it comes to our parents," she told Misty, hoping there was some way to help her feel better over the failed attempt.
"Huh?" asked Misty as she looked at Melody in surprise. "What do you mean?"
"It's a long story, really," said Melody, memories of when she and her older sister were little flashed before her eyes, but it also made her lower her head when doing so, wanting to help Misty. "Not sure if we'll be able to have the time for me to go through it from beginning to end."
"I think we can manage, Melody," Misty replied with curiosity on her face, now wondering about what exactly happened when it came to Melody's mother and father. Misty prayed they weren't dead like her own parents as she saw that the Jigglypuff girl was lowering her head due to thinking about it. "Besides, it would be good for us to talk properly with one another after so long."
"That's true, I mean we are mates after all," Melody replied with a smile on her face, although part of her was glad that it was starting to help her feel better, although there was a lot for her to mention t does mean revealing her parents who had passed away. "There's a place by the tree where we can have our conversation in private."

At another part of the forest, the small group was continuing to make their way towards the exit of the damn forest, but it also made them somewhat concerned. "Do you know how long it'll be before we get out of this place?" began Meowth as he didn't like being here at all, more so since he and his partners in crime knew that Setsuna had this strange power to turn people and Pokémon into hybrids.
"I agree with Meowth, this place is giving me even more of the creeps than ever," added James, thinking about how he, Jessie, and Meowth could be doing other things right now. "And this whole thing about a ghost who can turn anyone into hybrids, even more so female ones that would obey her every command no less."
"We shouldn't be that much further now," Jessie told the two, hoping they wouldn't have to deal with how they were in this forest for way too long. "I hope none of the other Team Rocket members came looking for us."
"Wait, there are other members of Team Rocket?"
Everyone soon noticed the expression of anger that Macy still had on her face; she didn't trust the three. The Team Rocket trio knew that she had a grudge against them which was understandable given what they tried to do back in Johto when the Silver Conference was taking place. "Yes, sadly there are," explained Tracey as he remembered there was also Butch and Cassidy whom he encountered in Kanto while Ash and Brock were still traveling through Hoenn with May and Max. "And trust me, you'll be surprised by what they're like."
Macy remained silent, as did Clemont and Bonnie, as they too weren't aware there were more members of Team Rocket besides Jessie, James, and Meowth. "About those other Team Rocket members that you encountered," the magenta-haired woman decided to speak to Tracey. "What did they look like?"
"Well, one of them was a blonde-haired woman, and the other had green hair, I think," Tracey thought about it briefly, although the Team Rocket trio's expression started as they had a feeling, they knew which members he was talking about earlier. "I think you already know who they are since we encountered them before at the Orange Islands."
"You bet we remember them!" Jessie frowned as she crossed her arms in absolute disgust as memories of the previous encounters with those two members flashed before her eyes. "Of all the Team Rocket members you had to cross paths with again, why did it have to be Butch and Cassidy?"
"Huh?" asked Clemont as he, Macy, and Bonnie all turned towards Tracey, Jessie, James, and Meowth, more so the latter three. "Butch and Cassidy? So there really are more members of Team Rocket besides you three?"
"Unfortunately, yes, although Jessie, Meowth, and I have a bad history with those two. Specifically even before encountering them at that fake Breeding Center they opened up back in Kanto," James told the Lumoise Gym Leader with a frown as that moment was nothing but bad news even to them. "Funny, because it was also the same Breeding Center that I took the Weepinbell I just caught there to and was surprised when I saw that it evolved into a Victreebel."
"I see," said Clemont with a frown, noticing that James seemed pretty upset when he brought up Victreebel, which meant something must've happened to it at some point in the past. "So, what exactly happened to that Victreebel of yours anyway?"
"I don't wanna talk about it!"
Tracey sighed when he heard James saying that, remembering someone who said the same thing a long time ago, since he, Ash, and Misty arrived at Pallet Town after the Orange League. "Why does this sound very familiar?" he asked himself as memories of Brock in depression whenever someone mentioned Professor Ivy to him, memories that flashed before his eyes.
"Oh dear…" muttered Jessie, knowing that James was still angry at her and Meowth for making him trade his initial Victreebel to the Magikarp Salesman towards the end of Johto. Then later, the two had forced James to get rid of his second one following its evolution from Weepinbell almost immediately afterward. "I have a feeling he's still not over what happened at all."
"Yeah, even if what's done is done no less," added Meowth with one of his paws on his forehead. Meowth didn't need reminding about that moment or how James never forgave them for what led up to it either as they looked at James.
"Look, how about we finish this after we leave this place?" Bonnie said, stopping everyone as she looked at the others, still worried they would get attacked by the hybrids.
The others all looked at Bonnie, knowing she was right; this wasn't the time to think about the past. "Yeah, we'll leave this place, Bonnie," her brother said, looking at his little sister.
"Aww, why leave?" a voice asked with a giggle as everyone looked to see Max and a few other hybrids.
The female Gallade giggled, looking at the humans. "Yeah, sorry to say, but we won't let you leave this place," Zoey T said with a grin. "You all need to be reborn into sexy hybrids, and you have run away from the rebirth for long enough."
No one said anything looking at the hybrids, and everyone knew they needed to think of a plan, and they hoped they could escape from their former friends.
