Chapter 54: Second Verse, Same as the First

Lance perked up at this.

'It isn't a technique, but if he can help me personally, I guess I can go with it.' Lance thought before he smiled. "I understand, master."

Naruto smiled and mentally sighed.

'Oh, thank the gods he is understandable.' Naruto thought as he wiped his face of sweat.

"Now, Zest, watch me closely." Naruto said as he held up the water balloon in his hand.

Zest and Lance watched as the balloon started to become bumpy before it burst, the water spraying in all directions.

"This, Zest, is the first step to the Rasengan." Naruto explained as he looked at her balloon, drawing her attention to it. "It is your job to pop this balloon the same way I did."

"Huh?" Zest replied with a dumbfounded look on her face, causing Lance to cover his mouth and look away, trying not to laugh.

Zest glared at him threateningly.

"Hey," Naruto called out sternly, snapping his fingers in Zest's face, making her return her attention back to him. "This is serious Zest, Lance. This technique is very important to me."

Hello~

I know, it's been a while.

I mentioned in the most recent chapter of Kitsune of Bael, that I am going to be taking longer breaks between chapters of all current stories.

This way, I have more time to rest, think, plan, and alter the story to be better and more enjoyable.

This chapter is one such example of the longer waiting time being a good thing.

We have the group training of Lance and Zest (based off of Genkai's training in Yu Yu Hakusho), and then their personal training.

Not to mention a steamy lemon between Naruto and his vampiric bride, Hilda.

I didn't think I would do it, but I just did as I was writing. I think since it has been quite a while since I last did a lemon for any story, so I must have done it instinctively to keep my skills sharp.
