When Merle was dishonorably discharged from the army, it wasn't so cut and dry. And when the dead start to rise, he runs into the only other person who knows the truth behind it: This is a Daryl/OC story. She's an old friend of Merle's basically. I came up with this summary in a rush. Slow burn for sure.

Kayla Wilmington joins the Atlanta group on the highway and is welcomed by some and not so much by others. She eventually finds a home among the group, but as time goes on, she finds even more of a home with Daryl. The two begin something neither of them expected to find at the end of the world with one another as the fight every day to make sure they always make it home.

Daryl and Morgan head back to Virginia with their new family. The two men must reunite with their friends and show them the men they have become and help their new and old family get to know each other and deal with new problems as they arise as they build their new home and try to save as many people as possible. Trust, will, and love will be put to the test as they return home.

The cast begins with Daryl/Carol, Sophia, Shane, Andrea, Rick, Lori, Carl, Glenn, and T-Dog but grows to include Glenn/Maggie, Beth, Hershel, Rosita, Sasha, and many more.

As Carl recovers from his gunshot wound on the Green Farm, the group slowly began to break apart and grow distant from one another, and Natasha can't help but tread carefully as Shane increasingly grows unstable. This is a random TWD spinoff that doesn't have much to do with the events of the show. (Abby is my o/c. Candace Jenner's compassion changes everything about the survival of the Grimes and Walsh families, as well as giving her distraught husband a reason to live. Add in one grumpy, antisocial redneck who can't figure out why he's fascinated with a former librarian (although Merle has a few obscenely unhelpful suggestions about that), and survival in the apocalypse is a lot more viable

They lived in a house with a roof over their heads that didn't leak when it rained. The house was small but it was perfect for the three of them and was always warm and dry and safe.
