Second ever fanfic! My own spin on the established narrative. I enjoyed the og. show well enough, but there were always things that bothered me. Louise was an insufferable brat who never learned anything, and Saito was a bit bland as a protagonist. So I decided to shake things up with a re-write. Give him a decent backstory, some motivation, and a backbone to his new master.

with no magic, Failure was the only option when Louise tried to summon a familiar. instead of accepting her fate though, she decided to leave Tristain, Halkeginia even, and venture to the distant land of Rub Al Khali in hopes of finding a future of her own. Being turned into a being of pure magic however is not quiet what she expected. Rated T, maybe M if i do more on it later.
