During the annual Winter Solstice feast, Tauriel learns that her parents may or may not be alive and living in Lothlorien. With the help of Legolas and King Thranduil, Tauriel learns just who she is and where she came from.

My own twist on what happens before the battle of the five armies and what happens when Thorin develops some feelings for Bilbo. (I do not own the characters or setting of this story.)

All Hobbits can have children even the males and this news is a surprise to the Dwarves but not an unwelcome one.

A tire swings lightly, a child trying to see how high he can go without falling off. The television flickers on, going to the cartoon channel and turning off whenever the news is on. Toys litter the floor. Kili likes his caretaker, Bilbo Baggins, even if he spends most his time alone.

When their mother unexpectedly dies, Fili and Kili are taken under Thorin's wing and Fili is appointed Heir to the throne of Erebor. At first he is intrigued with the prospect of his new role. But in Erebor not all is as it seems, and all that glitters is not gold. When it is, it corrupts and twists, and turns once-glorious dreams into living nightmares. NON-CON : ADULTS ONLY PLZ!
