It's the first winter of Iroh's Siege at Ba Sing Se, and the Fire Army has to deal with the horrors of snow. The Earth Army is amused.

At the end of season three one main thing was left unresolved. What happened to Ursa, Zuko's Mom. In Legend of Korra season 1 episode 1 Jinora asks Katara what happened to Zuko's Mom. Katara says it is an incredible tale. So incredible tale it will be. I know a lot of people have written FanFics on Zuko's Mom and a lot of them are probably better than mine. But please, enjoy.

It's been a full cycle through the elements since the first Avatar, Avatar Wan. The first female firebender of the Avatar generation is born to the Sun Warrior tribe. Tummo, daughter of the chieftain to the sun warriors, is the next avatar. The world is still in disarray since leaving the great Lion Turtles and it's up to Tummo to bring harmony and balance back to the world.

With the Hundred Year War over, peace must be brokered. That, as it turns out, is taking quite a while. Toph, attending yet another meeting of reconciliation, decides to shake things up as only she can - by dropping an unexpected announcement in the middle of the meeting as undiplomatically as possible.
