A short romantic story of how a girl carries in her heart a promise of love given to her by a stranger years ago, and how that very heart will save a dying King. [Thorin x OC] Story grew out of a reader's prompt for my other story "First Time, Every Time" and features my usual OC, Wren as a beloved for the King Under the Mountain.

I couldn't believe that the BoFA movie didn't touch on the ultimate fate of Erebor's treasure, particularly the Arkenstone and the necklace that Thranduil desired. Perhaps one day the Extended Version will shed some light on these things, but for now, here's my own attempt to do so. Combination of book and movie verse, focuses mainly on Bilbo and Thranduil. Enjoy!

Kili had been missing for some time now, and who other than Fili would be the one looking for him? No slash! Just a story of fluff, brotherly love and a little bit of an adventure!

Thorin was never given anything just for himself. He did not have a wife or a lover. He was always giving of himself to his people. But what if there had been a lover? What if no one ever spoke of it? What if this lover had been extremely unfit for a Dwarf King? Thorin/OC. Read before you judge, please, then judge away. Rated T for safety and paranoia.

The dwarves of Erebor wander the bitter winterlands with their ragged army of refugees. Even through harrowing conditions, there's still a little time to celebrate Yule, as far as Tili is concerned. Meanwhile, Dis has a secret; one she's kept from her husband for fear of what he might think. But is tonight, perhaps, the time to tell him of her unexpected gift? A Christmas one-shot.

Bilbo is grieving for Thorin.

Thorin kept quiet and aimlessly watch the trinkets of water glide along Bilbo's bare neck and flow through the muscles of his back underneath the transparent tunic. Thorin's senses became keen and felt his hands cupping Bilbo's sides.

Bilbo plants the acorn the day after he returns to Bag End. [Post Battle of the Five Armies, spoilers if you haven't read the book. (But if you haven't seen the movie, the acorn isn't going to make much sense.)]

AU: When Bilbo sails to the undying lands with Frodo, after his final adventure he does not expect to ever see Thorin Oakenshield again. But he's not entirely right about that. Thorin/Bilbo. ONESHOT.
