This was inspired by an imagine from imaginexhobbit from tumblr. The imagine was "Imagine Falling Asleep in Bofur's Arms" and this is what happened. Beware this is my first reader insert one-shot.

This is my version of the third Hobbit film. It's a bit cynical, but aren't most parodies? It also makes references to the Silmarillion and Lord of the Rings. If you loved the Hobbit movies, then hopefully you can read this with a grain of salt.

The line of Durin has made a life in the Blue Mountains of Ered Luin and a good life at that. Fili and Kili grow up poor but proud and discover that contrary to the beliefs of men, there is more to a dwarf's life than wealth. There is home, family and the deep abiding love of your One.

Bilbo knows that the only difference between heroism and stupidity is the success rate. Nobody else seems to understand this. Possibly he doesn't either because he's somehow on a quest to defeat a dragon. But if everybody just stopped being so determinedly idiotic they might just make it through.
