Mako finds out that the person who killed his parents is now out of jail and a free man. Mako loses it completely and Korra begs for him not to go after the man. Now, the firebender does something he regrets and he gets injured badly...will he make it? What will Korra do when she finds out what he did? Will Korra ever be able to tell Mako how she feels about him or is it too late?

Mako and Korra are walking through the city enjoying the nice, peaceful day, but they hear a cry for help; will the Avatar save them? Can the Avatar make things right? Will they become more vital than what they seem to the nations? Will Makorra be adoptive parents!

Mai came out of nowhere, a mystery to Korra and her friends, but welcoming her nonetheless, impressed by her bending and wisdom. When she hears of Korra's troubles, Mai's meddling get the better of her and soon she and the Avatar spin a scheme to force three certain words of of Mako's mouth. They hope Bolin's curiosity of the new Republic City streamstress doesn't foil there plan.

Prompted by an anon who asked me (a really long time ago, I'm really sorry!) to continue Cold. This is almost definitely not what said anon had in mind, and for that I'm also sorry. But my muse vetoed cold-swapping and then…well, this was on my mind. For obvious reasons. Please don't ask me to explain any further.
