Thorin is on a quest to meet his kin in the shire. An unfortunate run-in with the elves of Mirkwood sends him into a tangled web of complicated plots, old grudges, betrayal, and lust. Choosing to help a most hated enemy could land him executed or with a dragon slayer by his side when he heads to reclaim Erebor. But this dragon slayer isn't what he appears to be either.

For Bilbo assassination is like an art, one that needs to be perfected. Bonds with the victim, emotion and guilt are only an obstacle in the way of completing the contract. Love is like a noose around one's neck, and as such his life is a lonely one. However, will he manage to follow his creed and kill his new contract: Thorin Oakenshield? Thilbo, Bagginshield, Thorin/Bilbo.

Adventure is the only thing I live for anymore. I am one of the surviving fallen people of Arda on a quest to help a company of dwarves slay a dragon, which probably means we are all going to die by burning. A psychotic albino Orc chieftain hunts our leader, a growing darkness plagues the land, and everything in our path wants to imprison us or devour us... exciting!

If this were a song, it would be a little ditty. Just a blip in Fili and Kili's lives, but maybe one that helped shape them into the two loyal and caring young Dwarves they grow into. A typical bungle leads the brothers to someone who could use a touch of the light that they carry. Multi-chapter, but by no means a novel.

I filled another prompt at the kinkmeme. fem!Bilbo has a big thing for humping, but she's too embarrassed to tell Fili about it. He notices little by little—how she grinds down against him when they have sex or pushes up against his hand when he touches her—and it completely turned on by it. Finally, he does something about it. Humping kink, light bondage, genderswap.
