After the war there was a feeling that hope had returned. Zuko has a lot on his mind as he starts his reign but he keeps thinking of a certain waterbender. Katara is trying to rebuild her life but she can't help but have to choose between Aang and Zuko, at a time when that hope is hanging in the balance. Contains Zutara.

Aang didn't know why Katara broke up with him. Whatever it is, he wanted to be back together. He loved her so much. He don't know if he could ever move on. She's everything to him. Modern AU, obviously KATAANG.

AU where Zuko was never challenged to an Agni Kai, has no scar, and never left to capture the Avatar. Zuko is coming of age and his father has arranged a gift for him he is sure will turn the Fire Prince into the conqueror he was born to be. Of course it, or rather, SHE does change Zuko, but in a way no one could have foreseen. ZUTARA. Rating will change with added content.

Katara has yet to tell Aang that she loves him. He can't help but wonder why.

This story is getting redone to correct grammar and spelling after I lost my inspiration; ending is going to change a little. The Avatar masters the 4 elements but there is a another power that he cannot master. One person, one mercenary vow to rid the world of him but the answer is: Why?

As the gang gathers to celebrate Zuko's 21st birthday, Katara and Zuko find themselves both newly single. As they offer each other support, they in turn grow closer and realize there may have always been something lingering there between them. A scorned Mai, seeing the blossoming relationship between the two, turns to an old ally for help.
