This is a story I wrote as an alternate POV for Chapter VII of The Hobbit for my creative writing class. It shows my interpretation of Fili's personality. Enjoy!

As December draws closer and the appetite for staight-man hobbits, sexy dwarves and even more sexily voiced dragons/dark lords grows ever stronger, the quest to parody the cause of all this madness begins. Because really, they just make it so easy for us, and we love them for it.

Before the dwarves and Bilbo, of course, went to regain the great treasure at Erebor, the mountain first had to be taken by Smaug the Magnificent. This is that takeover, from the great red dragon's perspective. Not consistent with Tolkien's histories.

Thorin Oakenshield meets a Mirkwood elf named Tauriel, and their lives are changed forever. NOTE: Written Jan/Feb 2012 (last chapter May 2012), long before The Hobbit:AUJ came out. It's based on the book, plus photos of Richard Armitage as Thorin and of Evangeline Lilly (before her costume). I wanted to prove that Thorin could be a romantic hero - but RA has settled that question!

Dora Baggins and her father, Fosco, come to Bag End on a somewhat awkward errand shortly after Bilbo's return, and Fosco receives a surprise from the most unlikely of places. Written for the B2MeM12 Bingo Bash.

Small and brave the Burglar Bold which cheated Smaug the Dragon Dread and returned with treasures it is said. A 200 word poem of sorts about the events surrounding the end of Bilbo's adventure to the Lonely Mountain. Written as lore. Complete.
