Chapter 19- The Prodigal

"Yeah, I'm hoping this one's better too", Willow said.

"Here's to hoping, and watching", Buffy said as the recording finally started.

In Galway, Ireland, 1753, a maid servant was filling a pitcher with water at a well, with Angel, or as he was then called, Liam, leaning against the wall of his house in the shadow, looking disheveled. Liam called to Anna, saying his father would repenting for his sins in the Church right now like he should, and when Anna asked why he was in the shadows, he said the light bothered his eyes now, only for his father to arrive and push him into sunlight in the courtyard, saying how he had been drinking and whoring again, and was stinking of it.

"Huh!" Xander said. "Angel before he became…well, Angel."

"I can see that", Buffy muttered, never having seen this version of her first love before. Angel was flawed but good, loving, kind, brave and selfless while Angelus was evil, sadistic, cruel and a complete bastard in general.

But this, this was just a vain, sex-addicted man throwing away all of his potential.

"He's different from what I thought", Dawn said.

"Be honest, none of us really had much insight into pre-Vamp Angel, we only knew a few things", Willow said.

"Well, considering how he is now, its obvious how much he has changed over the years", Tara said.

"Still, this man we are seeing is definitely not one to like", Giles said about Liam.

Liam got up, sarcastically greeting him a good morning as his father called him a disgrace and said he had done enough debauchery for one night, so he didn't need to corrupt the servants as well, but Liam reminded they only had one, and said all got corrupted, some forms of corruption were just more pleasant. His father hit him hard across the face, making him spin around. "I am ashamed to call you my son. You're a lay-about and a scoundrel and you'll never amount to anything more than that."

"Guess how wrong that turned out?" Buffy asked.

"Yeah, but it took Vamping and then ensouling him to do that", Willow reminded.

"Yup, guess things would have been a lot different if he hadn't been turned", Dawn muttered.

"As much as I hate to say it, you're right", Buffy agreed.

Liam wiped the blood off his lip, then in present day Angel wiped the blood off his lip, fighting a Demon in a subway tunnel in front of a stopped subway car. He hit him, then was tossed away before beating him down, but the Demon grabbed him in a chokehold. Later, Kate and an officer arrived as the officer told Kate the situation, and also said the suspect was gone, and all the witnesses said something had moved pulled him out of the moving train, and then he walked off to get statements while she went to the stopped cars.

"I think we all know what pulled him out", Xander said.

"Yeah, it was a Vampire with a soul", Tara smirked.

Angel pushed the Demon away and punched him in front of subway car, before deflecting a blow and punched his abdomen before being hit back but then blocked and tossed him away. The Demon then just collapsed as Kate arrived to that scene and said now she didn't need to read any rights.

"What a timing, isn't it?" Dawn asked.

Kate noticed the thing was a Demon and was told they died too, then apologized as she still wasn't used to the otherworldly stuff, though Angel tried to explain more about it. They walked back to the station as Angel told Kate not to call anyone, and said things like this would have happened in LA before, they just unnoticed them on purpose.

"Sounds like something I've heard before", Buffy said as she and Giles shared a knowing look, remembering when he had told her that people's minds made up explanations for what they couldn't comprehend, including the supernatural.

A delivery guy told an officer that the guy was stinking and homeless and then Kate was given the officer's pad, realizing the delivery guy had pulled the emergency break, and he said it was an emergency. Kate looked at Angel while giving the officer the pad and told him to circulate the description while letting the delivery guy go, and then Angel noticed Kate's father was here, and they saw him talking to an officer.

"Ah! Him!" Xander noted.

"Now why would he be here?" Tara wondered.

"Maybe he decided to finally get his head out of his ass", Xander said.

"I am doubtful", Buffy said, exchanging a look with Dawn.

"Me too", she said.

Kate greeted him as he said he was in the neighborhood, and she realized he'd been listening to the police scanner, Trevor saying the cable had nothing interesting but had missed the action, Kate reminding he'd have gotten a lot of it as he had 35 years on the force, and asked if he knew she was the lead detective on the scene. Trevor said she was doing okay so he'd let her get back to it, then walked off as Angel arrived and Kate told Angel it looked like he was actually checking up on her.

"Yeah, so far it does look like that", Willow said. "Maybe Xander was right."

"I hope so, but you know, happiness rarely lasts", Xander groaned.

Kate then told Angel they couldn't talk like buddies now, and he was probably a decent guy, but this would be strictly business, and she wasn't his girlfriend.

"After what happened last time, I don't think he'd want a girlfriend anytime soon", Buffy pointed out with a wince.

"Yeah, but Kate is still not over the supernatural thing", Tara said.

In the past, Darla watched Liam in a tavern fight, asking a maid about him and calling him magnificent. The maid said he was God's gift, and Darla commented she never thought God could be so gorgeous. The maid said he made pretty lies when the stars were out but forgot all of his promises when the sun came up, which Darla said wouldn't be a problem for her. Liam saw her and started walking to her when someone smashed a bottle on his head from behind.

"So this is how Darla first met him", Willow said. "And boy was she smitten already."

"Yeah, we can all see that", Buffy said, a bit uncomfortable by the scene.

"So she saw something of use in a waste of space", Giles commented. "I'm talking about him when he was human, not the current version of him."

In present day, Cordelia told Angel to pay attention so they could install a code in their security system, but he was clearly lost as Cordelia said they could install her birthday as the code, which he didn't know, and she said after 11 and a half months of punching it into the machine, he would.

That made all chuckle as Dawn said. "Now that's a good method. Thanks Cordy."

Wesley then arrived with some open books, showing Angel a picture of the Demon- it was a Kwaini and they were female, and they could be disposed by burying them in virgin soil and a Latinate incantation, but he then told Angel that Kwaini were peaceful and non-violent, surprising Angel as the one he got was a fighter, but Wesley said Kwaini weren't even capable of it.

"Then why was that one fighting him so much?" Willow wondered.

"Maybe someone was pulling its stings", Giles said grimly. "Someone worse."

Cordelia said it was probably having a bad day as Angel said someone set it off, and wondered what would make it attack a train of passengers, and Wesley suggested something on the train, while Angel said it could be someone too.

"Maybe it's the delivery guy", Xander suggested.

"Yeah, that can be right", Buffy agreed.

Angel then met Kate in her office, and she asked him not to use the word 'Demon' around her while shutting the door, and told him to just say 'evil thing', so Angel told her it wasn't an evil 'evil thing', and Kate was surprised that some were not evil. Angel then explained how he'd gotten here via sewer system. Angel then asked for the passengers on the train and told her to start with the delivery guy, but Kate was unconvinced and didn't want to help.

"Still not used to it, huh", Tara said.

"Like Angel says, not all of them are evil", Buffy pointed out. And it was clear Kate hadn't really listened, since things had clearly gotten worse. Even Buffy had taken a lot of time to realize not all were evil. Things could have been different in some cases if she had realized it earlier.

Wesley later talked to Angel on phone, saying he couldn't blame Kate for being skittish as Angel agreed that things were different since she had run a 2x4 though him. Wesley assured she'd come around, saying women struggled with such things just as Cordelia waved a hacksaw over the dead Demon she'd just found. Angel said Kate would lose the details if she struggled with this, since a delivery guy was in the train during his shift, and then Angel told Wesley to conduct the tests.

"So it was his shift during the time, he is definitely involved in something". Giles said.

The delivery guy's cell phone rang as he answered while getting into his van and drove off as Angel followed. The guy then arrived at an apartment building and knocked, as Trevor arrived and handed him a package which he stuck in his delivery bag and left.

"Kate's dad?" Xander questioned, everyone shocked now. "So he didn't get his head out of his ass after all."

"No, he was just on the crime scene to cover it instead", Dawn said angrily.

"Poor Kate", Willow muttered.

Angel then knocked on the door, greeting Trevor and reminded him of himself before telling him Kate would be interested in knowing about the guy visiting him, saying she'd actually thought he was at the crime scene to check up on her, and then inquired about the package, but Angel knew he had removed something from the crime scene which he didn't want others finding out about, and asked who he worked for but Trevor countered he was retired. Angel told him he'd find out, and was telling him out of respect for Kate, and when Trevor asked if Angel was threatening him, he said he was trying to protect his daughter from finding out that he wasn't at the crime scene because he cared about her. Trevor asked if Angel had kids, and he didn't, so Trevor said he didn't knew how a father felt or why he did what he did, before slamming the door shut in his face.

"So he's bringing up his non-existent fatherhood to justify himself now", Buffy said, not impressed by him at all.

"He is clearly up to no good, and doesn't want anyone finding out", Tara said. "But we all know someone will."

In the past, Liam stumbled to his mother and sister in home and assured his sister Kathy they would meet again, and his father told him if he left, he shouldn't return, and instead of a son who would be a man, he had gotten a disappointment. Liam reminded that he had lived down every single one of his father's expectations and hadn't failed enough for him, and eventually told his father to get out of his way. His father said he was never in his way so Liam opened the door and stormed out, while his father said he'd find trouble he was courting it, and slammed the door.

"So, family fight, looks normal for the time period", Dawn joked to lighten the mood.

"We all know what kind of trouble he courted after this", Willow said and Buffy nodded with a sigh.

A barmaid in a tavern smiled as Liam picked her up, and then Darla was shown scratching her chest to make it bleed, and then the barmaid was shown feeding Liam grapes while Darla's voice said. "You know what to do, Darling boy." Liam followed Darla into the alley as her voice said. "I could show you- things you've never seen." Darla bit him and his eyes popped open. His knees gave out and Darla pushed his mouth on top of the bloody scratch on her chest.

"And this is how Angelus was born", Buffy noted, everyone finding the scene disturbing, and considering their own experiences with both Angel and Angelus, almost historic. She was only speaking to distract herself from what she was seeing, since she really didn't want to think about it much.

"Darla clearly saw his potential for darkness, and created one of the most evil forces in the whole world", Giles said grimly. "More evil than even her."

Kate and Trevor later had lunch, and he eventually asked about Angel, and asked if the two were still seeing each other, to which Kate responded they never were, and Trevor wondered if there was something wrong with him. Kate said they weren't each other's type, and then told him he was a PI, a very good one. Trevor said he'd made an impression but didn't like him, and said it wasn't good to be alone.

"So now he is using her need for his approval to get information on Angel", Willow said, everyone liking him less and less with every passing second. "Not daddy material at all."

"Yep, and Kate wouldn't like it whenever she finds out", Buffy sighed.

"Also, why can't a guy and a girl just hang out without being made out to be a couple?" Xander asked randomly.

"I keep wondering the same thing", Dawn said.

"This generation is strange", Giles muttered.

Wesley, dressed like a doctor, examined some meat on a silver tray, and then told Angel this was a Kwaini, and then held up a piece of meat, saying this would be its adrenal gland and would normally be a walnut's size, then held up a little bottle, saying it had been given a metaphysical equivalent to PCP, and Angel realized this was why it had attacked the passengers, and the delivery guy was carrying it. They also realized it enhanced strength by 20 times, and wondered how much it would enhance an already powerful battle Demon.

"Let us hope that never happens", Tara said.

"How would it affect a Slayer?" Willow randomly asked.

"Don't know, and don't want to, I hate drugs", Buffy said, remembering the time when Riley was affected by them.

Cordelia arrived in a blonde wig and sunglasses, saying it was stupid to have a security system and not use it, as she could have been anyone, and asked them to move the entrails, so they cleared the table.

That made all chuckle again.

Cordelia then complained about the cons of trailing suspects before flipping the screen on her camcorder and showed a row of still shots, saying the delivery guy was a delivery guy, and Angel noted the package had changed, and then Cordelia shot them a shot of a warehouse with Kel's Exotic Auto on it, the guy sticking two brown packages into his bag, and said the guy had spent his lunch here and had been around forever, and there were a lot of leftovers, Angel realizing this was the source.

"Way to go Cordy", Xander cheered for her.

"Now they have source, so it will end soon", Buffy said. "Hopefully."

Trevor talked to a guy in an auto shop, telling him about Angel, and asked about the package before reminding their agreement was that he would facilitate movement of their auto parts, not remove evidence from crime scenes or pump his own daughter for information, and the guy gave him an envelope, saying they were appreciative of his extra efforts. He took it with a grimace and told them to dial it down for a bit as the guy thanked him while he walked out.

"Looks like he isn't as bad as we thought then", Dawn said.

"Yeah, but he is still helping in illegal stuff", Xander pointed out. "That he did without being forced. He may be doing it for her, but it's not right."

"Well, as wrong as he is, at least he has some care for his kid", Buffy muttered. "Even if he doesn't show it. And he's still a jerk."

An ugly Demon then arrived and told them to kill Angel, and also Trevor, complaining he had to think of everything and asked for an adrenal gland.

"So Demons are involved here too", Buffy sighed. "Mastermind."

"And Mr. Lockley isn't safe at all, since they are going to kill him", Willow realized as all gulped.

Liam's funeral was shown in 1753, his mother and sister crying while his father stared ahead with a straight face, hiding his own pain. The priest said his prayers as the grave was filled in, and at the end only Liam's father stood by it, the gravestone saying- '1727-1753, Beloved Son'.

"He didn't like his son, but he did love him", Tara noted about Liam's father, and no one could disagree, or even blame him. Liam had been a waste and disappointment, so his father probably didn't like him anymore, but he loved and cared for him still, so his death had pained him a lot.

Buffy felt saddened by the scene. Liam wasn't the man she had fallen in love with once upon a time, but he still was the same man before he had become Angel, and him dying, it did make her sad, even if that and several other circumstances had led to her and Angel meeting.

Darla then arrived at the fresh grave at night as a hand broke through and Liam crawled out, Darla helping him up as she welcomed him to her world, saying birth was painful, and Liam said he had felt the heartbeats and blood over him, asking if it was a dream. Darla said it was a dream for him but it would be their nightmare.

Everyone's breath got caught up as they realized what was going to happen next. They knew what had happened, but seeing it would be another thing entirely.

A groundskeeper arrived and called them grave robbers, and then Liam morphed into his Vamp face for the first time, and as he started chanting, Liam bit him, turning to Darla, then drained and dropped the guy, and after some breaths turned to her in human face, Darla saying it all made sense now, and he could have anyone in the village. Liam said he'd have everyone.

"The birth of Angelus", Xander said grimly. "And the groundskeeper is his first ever victim."

"And it's gonna get much worse for all involved", Buffy sighed.

In present, Cordelia finally put in a security code as she and Wesley agreed it was good, and Angel said he was going to the warehouse on his own for recon, then Kate walked in, surprising them as Angel led her to the office where she gave him the list of the passengers on the train. He thanked her and asked why she'd changed her mind, and she said her father had asked if he was good, and she'd said he was, and then she said she may be uncomfortable about all this, but if Angel's instincts told him something, it was worth checking out, so Angel thanked her, but she also wanted to be involved, so she could face the Demons.

"So, this is both good and bad", Xander said.

"Yeah, good because she's coming around again, bad because her dad is involved", Willow said.

"Which makes involving her a bad idea", Buffy sighed.

Later, Angel got ready to leave, searching the office for his car keys as Wesley pointed out he was trying to protect Kate from the truth but he'd already warned Trevor, and Angel said he wanted him to understand the nature of what he was involved in, as he couldn't know it was Demonic, but Wesley pointed out he did know it was unethical, but Angel said that the price people ended up paying wasn't always commensurate with the offence.

"He's talking about himself", Tara realized and all nodded, not disagreeing. Liam may have been a waste of space, but even he didn't deserve to die, since he wasn't evil at least.

Cordelia then handed Angel his keys and told him to go talk sense into Trevor. He thanked her and walked to the garage as Cordelia armed the security system when a Kwai Demon burst in through the door, the security system saying door was open. The Kwai headed for Cordelia as Wesley tackled it while the alarm said bathroom window was ajar, and a second one arrived from the bathroom as the first pushed Wesley down while Cordelia broke a vase over its head. The second demon grabbed Wesley as he got back up, but he flipped it over his back to the ground. Cordelia throws some books at the first one then toppled the bookcase on it. Wesley and the second Kwai wrestled on the floor, while the first one threw Cordelia against the wall.

"They're actually doing pretty well", Buffy noted.

"They are learning", Giles said. "Good for them."

"But it's the Kwai on drugs", Dawn pointed out.

Angel then arrived with the bottle, and threw it down as the two Kwai lunged for it. Angel managed to toss one out the window as alarm said window was open, and he slammed the other one on his desk as Cordelia decided to unplug the alarm while Angel told the Kwai to talk. Later, he walked out to his car and told Kate to get her dad out of his house as he was in danger.

"I hope she does, or he does, or anyone does", Willow hoped.

"Worst security system ever", Tara commented.

"I know right?" Xander asked. "Weird."

Trevor opened the door to the suit guys as they got in, while Angel left another voice message for Kate. In the past, Liam's father nailed up his window from inside. "You're no different from the rest of them, - are you, father?" His father spun around and stared at him. "Cowering in their houses – boarding up the windows – smearing that foul herb in the doorways. You'd think something evil – and vile – and monstrous - had taken to terrorizing this village –and everyone in it." The father warned. "Be gone, unclean thing! A demon cannot enter a home where it's not welcome. He must be invited!" Liam said. "That's true. - But I was invited." He looked to the doorway. His father turned and saw little Kathy slumped against the wall. "Och!" Liam mocked. "She thought I returned to her – an angel."

"That's where his name came from", Buffy realized feebly, everyone feeling chills run down their spine from the disturbing scene playing out in front of them.

The father spun around and charged Angelus with the hammer in his hand. "Murderer!" Angelus easily pushes the attack aside, making his father fall to the ground. "Strange. - Somehow you seemed taller when I was alive." His father flattened himself up against the wall. "Lord, bind this demon now." Angelus snarled. "To think I ever let such a tiny, trembling thing make me feel the way you did." His father crossed himself. "I pray ye, give me your protection, Father." Angelus said. "You told me I wasn't a man." He slowly stalked closer to his father. "You told me I was nothing. – and I believed you. You said I'd never amount to anything." His father stared at him with wide-open eyes). "Well, you were wrong." Angelus morphed into vamp face. "You see, father? - I have made something out of myself after all." Angelus put a hand over his father's face and bit him. They slowly slid down the wall.

Dawn was clearly uncomfortable as Buffy held her, horrified herself, making Giles wrap an arm around her as Willow and Tara held hands tightly, and Xander rubbed his face.

"What the…?" Xander simply said, too horrified to make a 'daddy issues' quip this time.

"This was Angelus, not Angel", Buffy then reminded firmly, though the same face made it hard to distinguish, but the differences were clear as daylight.

"Doesn't mean this isn't any less disturbing", Willow muttered, and no one could disagree.

In the present, the suit guys asked Trevor if he had mentioned their association to Kate, and he said he hadn't, and said she wasn't crooked like he was, and never would be. The suit guys were impressed he was providing to her future as Trevor opened a door to reveal many bottles and a handgun, and they were interrupted by a knock as Trevor left his gun and went to open it, revealing Angel. Trevor told him to get out as Angel tried to walk in, but wasn't invited, and begged Trevor to invite him, straining against the barrier as the suit guys morphed into Vamp face too.

"Invited the wrong Vamps in, Mr. Lockley", Giles said.

One of them grabbed Trevor and threw him across the room, the two taunting Angel he wasn't welcome, but Angel warned that the moment Trevor died, he would come in and kill them both, but they weren't concerned, and Angel could only watch helplessly as they trained Trevor, and dropped him as Angel charged in.

"Oh God!" Tara said, now all even more horrified and saddened. Kate's father hadn't given them much of a reason to like him, but he was still her father, and she loved him, so they all felt their hearts go out to her.

"Poor Kate", Willow muttered again.

"Just as she was coming around, this happened", Buffy sighed, now putting the pieces together as she realized why Kate had been so hostile when Buffy had met her.

"Which makes it all worse", Dawn said.

"No happy endings, are there?" Xander snarled.

"Very rare", Giles muttered.

Angel kicked a chair to break off a leg and hitting the bigger Vamp, staked it while the other ran out, almost colliding into Kate as she ran in, then fell on top of her dad, seeing the bite marks and broke down in tears, Angel saying he had invited in the Vamps but didn't know, and Kate said Angel had. Angel said he was involved in something and didn't understand but Kate yelled. "Get out. Get out! Get out! Get out. Get out. Get out." Angel slowly backed towards the door. "Please, get out. Please, get out."

No one commented, feeling sad for Kate, since she had lost the only family she had left. They may not have had the best relationship, but he was still her dad, and his death would have broken her clearly.

Angel later armed himself with a lot of weapons, telling Wesley he had moved to Plan B now. Kate was huddled against the wall near her father's body, then spotted the envelope with many hundreds inside and crawled to it, finding a business card of the warehouse. Later, 3 suited guys stood around behind a desk at the warehouse when Kate walked in and shot 3 of them, saying she knew what they were.

"She's going to get herself killed", Buffy said.

"Yes, but she isn't rational right now", Tara told her.

"I know the feeling due to first hand experience", Willow added.

A suit guy walked to her, taunting her, and she shot his shoulder, making him growl, and said she knew it wouldn't kill him before pulling out a stake and dusting him, reminding that she'd said she knew, but then the head Demon arrived, taunting her more as she shot him 4 times in the chest and he didn't even flinch, with Vamps closing in behind her. The Demon taunted. "You have no comprehension! You do not understand what stands before you!" Angel walked in behind Kate twirling his ax. "A big, ugly drug-running demon, who thinks he is a lot scarier than he is, maybe?" Everyone looked at him. "Yeah. She knows."

"Now they're all screwed", Dawn smirked.

The two started fighting the Vamps, Angel beating and tossing some aside while Kate head-butted one but was flipped and pinned down. Angel had lost his ax and beat one Vamp before flipping to deflect his ax with his legs which another Vamp used to attack him, and kicked him down before reclaiming his ax and pulled the Vamp off Kate, pointing it at the Head Demon's throat, saying he wouldn't kill him if he let him walk out, so he grunted and motioned for the rest to back off. They started walking out.

"Don't think it's that simple", Xander warned.

The big demon took a step after them. One of the vamps grabbed Kate, but she threw him over her hip and staked him. Angel threw his ax straight up into the air and staked the two vamps on either side of him with his spring loaded wrist sheathes, then calmly caught the ax as it came back down while the Demon roared. "You're dead!" Angel countered. "I'm already dead." He swung around and beheaded the demon. "Welcome to the club."

"Cool move", Dawn said.

"I know right? Why don't I use 'em?" Buffy wondered.

"Because you suck", Willow said as Buffy gave her a mock glare and then all chuckled.

Angel walked over to Kate who was crouched over where she had staked the Vamp. She was trying not to cry, as Angel told her to never trust an evil 'evil thing', and that her dad hadn't known, but she said he was human and Angel didn't know a thing about that, walking past him without a word.

"I don't think they're gonna talk much from now on", Tara commented, everyone still feeling bad for Kate.

"Right you would be", Buffy muttered.

"This contest is ended, is it?" Darla asked in the past. Angelus had his feet up on the table playing with his father's pipe. His family lay dead around him. "Now I've won", Angelus said. "You're sure?" Angelus put his feet down and picked up a mug of ale. "Of course. I proved who had the power here." Darla countered. "You think?" "What?" Darla pointed out. "Your victory over him took but moments." Angelus looks over at the body of his father and got up. "Yes?" "But his defeat of you will last life times", Darla said. Angelus asked. "What are you talking about? He can't defeat me now." Darla said. "Nor can he ever approve of you – in this world or any other. - What we once were informs all that we have become." Angelus looked at his father's body. "The same love will infect our hearts – even if they no longer beat." Angelus looked at his mother's and his sister's bodies. "Simple death won't change that." Angelus asked. "Love? - Is this the work of love?" Darla stepped closer and smiled up at him. "Darling boy. - So young. Still so very young."

"She really knows how to cut through him", Buffy said, everyone disturbed by the macabre scene they had just witnessed. "And she's only just sired him."

"And her words clearly had a permanent effect. His father's suffering was brief, but his words would haunt him forever", Willow said. "So in a sense, he never won at all, and never will."

"For Angelus, that would be a punishment he deserves", Giles pointed out, and no one disagreed.

Kate stood in the sun in front of her dad's grave marker. She put some flowers on his grave then walked away while Angel watched her from the shadows of a crypt at a distance. The grave marker said- "Trevor Lockley born 1938 at rest 2000 Beloved Father." The screen went black.

"Really don't think she's gonna forgive Angel for a long while now", Willow muttered. "She blames him, even if it's irrational."

"And here we were hoping this one would be better", Dawn sighed.

"Guess none of them will be", Xander said.

"Yeah, but maybe the next one can be less brutal than this", Buffy shrugged hopefully as they reached that one, and she really hoped Kate wouldn't be in that one, considering her own hostile meeting with her.

And with Kate's dad also died her likability. I did feel bad for her for losing her dad, since losing the only family you have left has got to be very horrible, but her blaming Angel for everything supernatural after this got annoying real quick.

I have a certain liking for flashback episodes in this show, since it's interesting to see the past of one of Buffyverse's most tortured souls (Not counting 'The Girl In Question', even if Angelus alongside Spike being made a fool of by The Immortal was hilarious).

Hope everyone enjoyed and see you all next time with another chapter. Stay safe from the coronavirus ya all!
