And with this chapter, we shall end the Angel/Darla Trilogy, and then 3 not that enjoyable episodes which have Angel being a dick, though there's one thing in the very next episode I look forward to doing, guess what? *winks*
Chapter 42- Redefinition
Everyone sat back down as Dawnster said. "I'm really dreading their reactions to being fired."
"We all are", Buffy told her as she started the recording.
Cordelia and Wesley walked out of the Hyperion, carrying their boxes, and Gunn was there too with his hands in his pockets. Cordelia was still in disbelief over what had happened before Wesley said Angel wasn't level-headed currently and would change his mind later, to which Gunn pointed out he'd locked 20 lawyers in a room with 2 psychotic Vampires. Cordelia ranted it was all about Darla and Angel was consistent with pretty blondes driving him over the edge.
"Hey, it was an accident, in my case that is", Buffy called out.
"She's not in a good mood", Summers pointed out.
"Can't blame her", Willow shook her head.
Gunn pointed out this was just a side gig for him, while Cordelia found herself angry and hurt, Wesley adding disappointed, then said that perhaps right now letting him stay alone was the best course of action. The three then headed off in different directions.
"No, it's not the right course of action", Tara said. "He's just going to be more self-destructive from this point."
"Which I guess is exactly what he wants to be", Xander muttered.
"Yeah, he fired them so that they don't stop him from going all self-destructive", Harris said with a sigh.
Angel was moving boxes around in the basement. As he set one down the top flipped off. Angel picked the box up and looked at its contents. The topmost paper inside of it was a portrait sketch of Darla. He took the box over to the incinerator, opening the door to reveal the fire burning inside it. He picked up the stack of sketches, looked at Darla's picture for a moment, then tossed the stack into the flames and shut the door.
"So his obsession seems to be gone", Dawnster muttered.
"No, I believe it is just replaced by a different kind of obsession", Giles told her.
"Right you are", Maclay agreed with him.
Angel did pull-ups on a pipe in the basement, and several other exercises. "I'm not ready yet. Too many years spent sleeping in soft beds - living in a world where I don't belong. - I can't fight them. Not yet. - But soon."
"The mission is what matters", Buffy remembered herself say back during the fight against the First Evil, she was ready to do anything to win the war, and now she realized Angel was doing exactly the same thing. Seeing the parallels disturbed her as she realized how cold she could become at times. And how much it could cost, like it was doing for Angel.
"He has lost it, hasn't he?" Xander asked.
"Kind of, but in his head, its justified", Dawn told him.
At Holland's wine cellar, corpses littered the place when Lindsey's eyes opened and he freed himself from the mass.
"Why couldn't he go?" Dawnster muttered, groaning. "Why did she spare him?"
"Well, it wasn't because she loved him, that much I will tell you", Summers said to her.
"In that case, fine by me", Buffy said, realizing Darla must have some ulterior motive in sparing him.
Lindsey later sat on a chair as the paramedic requested him to go to a hospital but he wasn't interested, muttering there had to be a reason why he was left alive, but then heard someone say another live one had been found, and saw the paramedics helping Lilah to her feet.
"There go your delusions", Willow said to Lindsey.
"If both are alive, there has to be a very good reason to spare them", Tara realized.
"Oh there is, and it only serves Darla and Drusilla", Rosenberg said to her.
Virginia was in shock that Wesley had been fired by Angel, wondering if he could file a grievance with the union, which he couldn't as he didn't have one, and his job was deducted to be 'renowned specialist in supernatural aid and rescue'. Virginia then said her father used union conjurers, calling the wizard community progressive, to which Wesley reminded what her dad had tried to do to her, and she agreed, saying that's why she'd never talk to him again and was healing due to therapy and a gigantic trust fund.
"Well, that's a good thing", Xander quipped.
"Yeah, healing from abuse takes time, but when you do, there is no better feeling", Tara said as she and Willow shared a smile.
Virginia theorized Angel was jealous as Wesley had impersonated him very well, to which he said the others had been fired too, due to the mess with Darla and Drusilla, not wanting anyone in his way, while Virginia said his loss was the world's gain, asking what else he could do, and he thought before realizing not much.
"Wouldn't body-guarding her give him money?" Dawnster pointed out.
"Yeah, he stopped that a while later, now they're just dating", Dawn said to her.
"Oh!" Dawnster realized with a nod.
Angel in the basement practiced with a sword. "When Wolfram and Hart take a life - they do it at a distance. - I don't have that luxury." He stabbed the sword down into the floor and kicked the punching bag of its chain. "It's time." Angel, wearing his coat, left his apartment, took one last look around and closed the door. He walked down the stairs, across the lobby and, turning the lobby lights off, went down into the basement. "I'm not on their level." He opened the trap door into the sewer. "But I can get there." He descended into the sewer, then walked along its tunnels. "And when I do, I'll be right up close. I'll bring the fight to them."
"How many people will pay the price when you do?" Willow asked him with a sigh, sad to see how much he was falling.
"This made me realize just how cold I got during the battle against the First Evil", Summers said to them. "And I didn't like it."
"I know, because I just realized it too", Buffy said to her older self, then looked at her friends. "And you all still followed me in spite of it. I didn't deserve it, but you did. Thank you."
"No problem, I mean, where would we be without each other?" Xander shrugged.
"Plus, you did see sense in the end", Dawnster said to her.
"And we won, though the casualties were saddening", Giles said.
"I know", Xander said with a sigh as Willow stroked his arm, knowing which casualty he was thinking of.
"Hopefully, it doesn't take that much to make Angel realize", Tara said.
"Actually, its gonna take a lot more", Maclay said to her, making them all sigh and groan.
At Wolfram and Hart, Lindsey checked for messages on the receptionist desk before seeing Lilah come up, her arm in a cast, and the two walked together, bantering, Lilah sarcastically apologizing for disappointing him by staying alive, commenting how she wasn't the only one with no empathy here. A Vampire next to a lawyer stared at Lindsey's bruised face who called him out. Lindsey then assured it was natural they'd be under suspicion, but Lilah said they'd be killed off, because Wolfram and Hart looked for a scapegoat, so better to grow horns and eat garbage. Lindsey tried to speak when Lilah put a hand on his chest due to another lawyer close by, when the lawyer was gone Lindsey reminded they were the ones who brought Drusilla in, he was just following orders, but Lilah said they were gonna pay for it.
"Well, if you do, none of us mind", Xander said casually.
"If only things were that simple", Harris told him, and he groaned again.
Lindsey opened the door to his dark office to see Darla and Drusilla, where Darla said they'd be dead if the two wanted them dead, then Lindsey closed the door, asking why he'd been spared, to which Darla joked she loved him, before laughing, and even Drusilla and Lilah joined, though the Vampires shut Lilah up.
The dark humor made the Scoobies chuckle a little too.
"No less than you deserve", Dawnster said to Lindsey.
"Oh yeah, best way to shatter his stupid delusions", Buffy muttered.
"You're underestimating his level of delusion", Rosenberg told them.
"Well then, I hope something even bigger shatters that delusion", Xander said.
Darla then said the two had been spared because one of them could be promoted, and while the Senior Partners were looking for someone to blame, killing them both would be a waste, so the line of connection between the two Vampires and the firm was kept open by Darla, as she said she hated being used, and would now be a big player in town alongside Drusilla, so the firm would have money and connections for her. Lindsey asked if Darla would kill Angel, but she said this wasn't about him, this was about fun, and she didn't want to make him a priority, though he'd be killed in good time.
"Unfortunately for you, you're his priority", Summers said to Darla.
"She doesn't even know that, I have a feeling it won't end well for her", Tara said.
"So, one of Lindsey or Lilah is gonna die? Honestly, not sure who I want to see dead more", Xander told the rest.
"Again, not that simple", Maclay said to him.
"Why am I such a simpleton?" Xander now muttered.
A deserted intersection of 2 sewer tunnels was shown, and then Angel crouched on some overhead pipes. A group of 4 Vampires came down one of the tunnels, bragging. Angel dropped down onto the bragging lead-vamp, which managed to kick him off before he could stake him. Angel charged back in and proceeded to take all four of them on at once, punching, smacking and kicking. He staked one, kicked another one and sent it flying up against the wall, fighting some more. He triggered his wrist stake and dusted a second. The lead-vamp grabbed Angel and pushed him against the wall, but when it tried to throw him against the opposing wall, Angel ran up the side of it. Using the vampire's hold as a pivot he landed behind it and drove his wrist stake into its heart. The last vamp tried to run off, but Angel tackled him to the ground, then pulled out his sword and beheaded the vampire. "I'm ready."
"Okay, while I don't like Angel's behavior currently, that was badass", Buffy commented. "Seriously."
"I know right? Especially when he ran up the wall", Dawnster said with an excited smile.
"I should really learn fighting", Xander commented. "Better fighting that is."
"But to do that, you need to be really good", Willow said to him.
"I'm sure he can try", Tara shrugged.
"Even the most skilled Watchers are not this skilled", Giles sighed.
"Over 200 year old Vampire, what do ya think?" Summers pointed out.
"Yeah, he has years of experience", Rosenberg added.
"Plus, he does train regularly, even if not to this extent", Dawn said.
"So it makes sense why he's such a badass", Maclay shrugged.
"Also, I do know how to fight, even if not that good", Harris said to Xander.
Then they turned back to the screen.
Angel dropped the bloody sword and started to walk down the tunnel, taking off his coat and throwing it to the ground. "I've got the moves. Now I need to know what theirs are."
"Yeah, you got the moves", Dawnster muttered.
"Theirs aren't related to you, for now", Buffy sighed.
At the Caritas Bar, Lorne sang while Wesley arrived, asking for a bloody Mary without blood, then wondered what to sing as he was given his glass, then a woman in a dark coat walked past, and it was Cordelia, the two finding it odd to see each other here as Wesley lied he was here to drink, but Cordelia knew he wanted to sing, and she lied she was in the neighborhood, while he pointed out she lived 15 miles away, and the two sat down, feeling embarrassed when Gunn popped up, saying he felt the same way, and the previous comment of a side gig was just to protect his rep.
"I knew he cared", Tara said with a smile.
"I believe he has some pride in him too, like Wesley did at first", Giles commented.
Cordelia rightfully blamed Angel for their current predicament, sarcastically hoping he was happy alone. Merl was suspended by a rope, head down, from a sewer pipe above a pool of water, and was being dipped into it by Angel for information, who finally said 'Godzilla' and 'Darcilla' had been hitting underground hot spots to build a Demon crew, and also told him of the one place they hadn't visited, and so Angel tied the rope to a pipe along the wall before leaving Merl hanging.
"Anyone think he should have cut him down?" Dawnster asked.
"Well, he did give Angel wrong info the last time, getting the Prio Motu killed", Buffy reminded.
"Godzilla and Darcilla, I'd watch a movie with those two", Xander quipped, making the rest chuckle a little.
At the bar and bite club, a fight was taking place between a green demon and a vampire, ringed by a crowd of demons watching and cheering. The demon danced around the vampire, hitting him. Finally he grabbed the vampire in a choke-hold. The vampire slapped the floor with his hand and the demon released him. Rhythmic clapping interrupted the cheers for the winner. The crowd parted to reveal Darla, followed by Drusilla walking into the middle of the circle, with Darla introducing them both and saying they'd be known by reputation, to which the Demon said he'd never heard of them, and Drusilla ripped off his ears, making him fall down in pain as Darla said now he never would.
Everyone cringed at the brutality of these two.
"As much as I don't like Angel right now, these two need to be stopped really soon before they go on like this", Willow told them all.
From under the shadow of the hood of his gray sweatshirt a vamp-faced Angel glanced over the shoulders of the demons in front of him at Darla.
"Here to stake her?" Buffy wondered.
"Yeah", Summers nodded lamely, knowing what was coming.
Darla then gave a speech to the Demons while Angel moved through the Demon crowd, head down, and Drusilla started ranting about Angel, making Darla spin around at the crowd of Demons, with Drusilla adding he wanted to punish them for being naughty and remembered when Darla was warm. Darla then shut her up.
"So he still sees her as human?" Xander asked.
"Yeah, he's conflicted", Harris nodded.
"But so is she", Maclay said, to their surprise. "Her recent humanity is still a memory to her, so she is conflicted too, even if she's not showing it."
"Didn't expect that", Buffy muttered.
"There are a lot of things here we never expected", Summers told her.
Darla then finished her speech, saying auditions were tonight. Winners would get to cause destruction while losers would be gutted, pulling a business card out of her cleavage and dropping it, before grabbing Drusilla's hand and leading her away. Angel was standing in the alley behind the bar. He morphed into his human face and pulled the hood off, then leaned his head back against a post. "I'm not ready. I can still feel her. - Her pain. - Her need. - Her hope." Angel took a deep breath and walked off. "I'm too close. - Too close to fight her."
"So still not ready", Buffy said with a sigh.
"I understand that, but these two need to be stopped before any destruction is caused", Tara said.
"If he continues like this, he will fail in the very thing he set out to do", Giles commented.
"Don't underestimate him", Summers told Giles.
Lindsey was getting ready to leave for the night when Lilah arrived, saying they could stick together and fight back, and could take files as insurance like Lindsey had before, so he could tell her which ones to take and she would. Lilah caressed his tie while Lindsey stroked the side of Lilah's face and leaned in as if to kiss her, while his hand slipped down into her blouse and pulled out - a wire. He spoke into it, saying he'd never steal files from his employer and was shocked by the suggestion, retrieving his stuff with a snort of laughter and walked off, saying one would die so she could take it like a man, blowing her a kiss and left.
"Knew something was up", Willow said.
"These two teaming up, never gonna happen", Tara agreed.
"She can't take it like a man though", Buffy quipped.
"Looks like Lindsey regained some of his brain though", Xander pointed out.
"Yeah, when Darla isn't around, his brain comes back", Rosenberg said to him.
Cordelia with a slightly slurred voice blamed Wesley, saying he'd shamed Angel into firing them, then also Gunn, Wesley agreeing as he reminded of the shroud incident, but then Gunn called him 'pansy-assed British guy', with the 3 then telling Lorne they could get another round. Gunn blamed Cordelia too, saying if she had some more visions, he'd have been too distracted to think about Darla, clicking drinks with Wesley, and then the arguing continued as all three talked at once.
"I think these three should stop drinking", Buffy said.
"What happens next will make you take it back", Summers said with a smirk.
Cordelia, Wesley and Gunn stood together on the stage, singing "We Are The Champions" by Queen.
"Whoa!" Xander said, everyone chuckling at that.
"Their voices aren't good for singing, and not in tune", Giles said.
"Still, them together makes it more bearable", Buffy said.
"And funny", Maclay added.
"We need to see more of this", Dawn said and all chuckled.
Later, all three were alone in the bar as Lorne said their singing had caused him pain but still props for singing their hearts out, and then they asked him for guidance, but he said he shut up when the big guys talked, and they were about to get real chatty.
"Does that mean….?" Willow trailed off.
"Yeah", Rosenberg said with a nod.
Cordelia was then hit by a vision of a green Demon and a girl, with Lorne helping her rest her head on his folded jacket, and she told the other two the alley wasn't far, so they left.
"Just because Angel lost his way doesn't mean there isn't evil to fight", Summers commented to the rest of them.
Angel was is in his basement, checking his wrist stakes and filling a gym bag with assorted weapons. The phone rang in the lobby. Angel walked towards the reception desk to reach - past the ringing phone to pick up an ax. He turned and headed out, ignoring the phone.
No one really commented, though they felt disappointed at how far off his path Angel had already strayed.
Cordelia, Wesley and Gunn hurried down a dark alley, noticing splashes of blood, and then tried to look for her, Cordelia and Gunn commenting on what Angel could do if here, but Wesley reminded he'd walked away from his duty so it was their job now, and he crouched down by the blood, before pulling his hand away from the wall which had blood, and they noticed a streak of blood going up the wall next to a drainpipe, leading to a busted window. They realized the Demon and girl were up there and the only way to get into the building was climb the drain pipe to the window.
"Looks like this is their first proper mission without Angel to help out in any capacity", Giles said, everyone from the past leaning forward, clearly interested.
"Maybe this is where the transition to badass Wesley starts", Willow said with a smile.
"It kind of does", Maclay said to her.
Darla and Drusilla walked out of a Demon bar, before Drusilla started ranting about Angel again, annoying Darla more as Drusilla said no matter how many legions they had, Angel would come, and added Darla missed him like a heartbeat, but Darla denied, saying she didn't miss anything and added that in a perfect world, Angel would be helping her so she was doing his job, and Drusilla muttered she saw fire and pain and suffering, beginning to sway, and the two walked off together.
"Please tell me this is not a prediction", Dawnster begged.
"It is, actually", Dawn said, horrifying the past people. "But not the kind you'd expect."
Now that got their interest.
Angel walked up to an abandoned building. He slid a big garage door to the side to reveal an assortment of different demons waiting inside. Angel's weapons bag dropped in slow motion to the ground and he twisted the ax in his hand.
"So is he ready now?" Buffy asked.
"He is", Summers said grimly.
Cordelia, Wesley and Gunn climbed into the building and they saw the woman from the vision lying motionless, and then Cordelia screamed as the Demon from her vision dropped in front of them.
"If only screaming like that could kill Demons", Xander muttered.
"Gentlemen", Buffy reminded with a smirk.
"All kinds of Demons", Xander corrected himself.
The Demon knocked Wesley to the floor, then jumped on Gunn. Wesley told Cordelia to save the girl, then picking up a 2x4 knocked the Demon off Gunn. The demon turned towards Cordelia, and Gunn jumped on its back. The demon threw itself back against the wall, smashing Gunn in between, and Wesley took the chance to hit in the stomach. The demon retaliated with a hard right to Wesley's jaw, then threw Gunn over its head into the opposite wall. Wesley whacked it across the back, dropping it to the ground. The demon pulled Wesley's leg out from under him, then jumped on his back and sank its teeth into Wesley's right shoulder. Wesley let out a scream of pain. Gunn got back up, grabbed a chair and knocked the demon off Wesley with it, shattering the chair in the process. Gunn picked up one of the splintered chair legs and rammed it into the back of the demon's head, killing it. Wesley picked himself back up and looked over at Cordelia and the other girl.
"They did it", Giles said, impressed, like the rest. "They defeated their enemy without Angel to help them."
"Now if only we were that useful and self-sufficient", Xander joked in a self-depreciating way.
"Looks like they can keep the good fight going", Buffy said with a smile.
"Yeah, they will help the helpless", Tara said.
"While Angel was waging war on Wolfram and Hart, they were the ones who did what he had come to do", Summers told them all. "They helped the helpless."
"And they were really good at it too", Rosenberg added.
Wesley said they needed to get the girl to the hospital, Gunn pointing out Wesley's own injury, which he tried to play off before actually seeing it, and Gunn said they'd been nearly ripped to shreds, before Cordelia pointed out the Demon was the only one dead.
"Yeah, that's true", Dawnster said. "So now it's up to you guys."
"They know it now", Dawn told her.
Darla and Drusilla walked to the abandoned building, with Darla saying she needed to do it quickly, with Drusilla calling the place dank and wondering if they could buy the place as a castle. Darla said there was no view and they were broke, though Lindsey could help if he survived, Drusilla saying she liked Lilah for being wicked. Darla said they were sweet kids, and naïve humans, probably didn't even know Wolfram and Hart's true plan regarding Angel, but her own curiosity was peaked.
"Mine too", Buffy muttered, wondering what exactly the firm wanted from him.
Drusilla put her hand to the door, ranting about 10 soldiers and how a shot rang out, clapping her hands to make a sound, and added now only 9 were left, Darla saying she'd be happy if they'd 3 who could hack it. Darla slid the door open and they walked in to see the floor littered with demon corpses and severed limbs and a pile of dust between them. Drusilla ranted. "Dead already? Bad soldiers!" Darla looked around and saw Angel leaning against the hood of a dusty car, smoking a cigarette.
"He is…" Willow muttered, everyone from the past watching him with curiosity in their eyes.
"Different?" Maclay asked and Willow nodded.
"What is up with him right now?" Buffy wondered. "What are you gonna do Angel?"
Darla said with a slight smile. "I should have known." Drusilla shook her head. "A shadow." Drusilla lifted her hand as if she was trying to wipe away a cobweb in front of her face, never taking her eyes off Angel. Darla asked. "Why so far away, my love? Why don't you come over here and... stake me?" No reaction from Angel. "Angel?" Angel, looking pretty beat up, continued to smoke his cigarette. "Angelus?" Angel threw down his cigarette butt. It ignited a trail of gasoline. Darla and Drusilla looked down at the flames, seeing them racing towards them in slow motion, and ignited the puddle of gasoline they were standing in. They screamed as they began to burn. Angel turned around to pick up his bag of weapons, revealing a can of gasoline sitting on the hood behind him, and walked out without looking back.
"Oh my God!" Buffy said, everyone horrified by how brutal Angel had gotten.
"He just…." Giles trailed off. "Not that they didn't deserve it, but I didn't think he could do this without losing his soul."
"Clearly, we underestimated the guy", Xander sighed. "Burnt his obsession, literally and figuratively."
"So this was what Drusilla was predicting?" Dawnster asked, now all from the past remembering her little rant about flames and pain.
"Yeah, this was what she was talking about", Summers said with a nod.
"Well, he has changed", Willow muttered grimly. "And not in a good way."
"More efficient and ruthless, but he lost all of his goodness", Tara said with a sigh.
"What has happened to him?" Buffy muttered.
"He has snapped", Maclay simply said.
Darla picked up a sledgehammer, leaning next to the door, ran outside and knocked the top of a fire hydrant off. She and Drusilla stood under the spray of water, letting it extinguish the flames, then sank down to sit on the edge of the sidewalk under it, with Darla holding Drusilla who moaned. "I'm burning. Make it stop, please." Darla comforted her. "Shh. Shh. That wasn't Angel." Drusilla moaned. "He's gone. He's all gone. Oh - it hurts! It hurts!" Darla muttered. "Wasn't Angelus either." Drusilla moaned louder and begged. "Darla, help me. Help me, please! Please. Please." Darla asked. "Who was that?"
"Dark Angel", Summers muttered grimly as all looked at her. "Fallen Angel. Whatever suits you best."
"He is something else", Buffy muttered, and she didn't like this something else at all. He may be efficient and ruthless in fighting a war, but he had abandoned the good fight, and cut off all those who cared about him for caring about him.
At Wolfram and Hart the next day. Lilah and Lindsey talked about the incident with Angel burning Darla and Drusilla after slaughtering a dozen Demons, Lilah finding it grimmer than usual as Lindsey said Holland's vision lived on.
"Which shows that they managed to manipulate him expertly, even if it cost Holland his life", Willow muttered sadly.
The two insulted each other a little before sitting in the conference room in front of a man called Hunt, who first praised Holland Manners, then called them both out for their screw-ups, including not informing them about the visit of Darla and Drusilla, so neither was qualified to run the Special Divisions Projects, but while their competition was vicious and destructive, it was also healthy, and because of that both were joint co-acting Vice Presidents of the division till they decided to narrow it down, congratulating them both, warning that the Senior Partners would be watching, then walked out with his book as the two looked at each other.
"Okay, that I didn't expect", Dawnster muttered.
"Neither did I", Xander said with a sigh.
"Told you, with them it's never simple", Harris said to them all.
"These two competing against each other, I think this is gonna make it all worse", Buffy muttered.
"You're not wrong", Summers told her.
Angel was in the basement of the Hyperion, throwing knives at a target, and hitting the bullseye every time. He retrieved the knives and got ready to do it again as Wesley appeared on the basement steps. "I thought you might like to know we're keeping the agency open - with or without you." Angel stood with his back to Wesley, facing the target, silent. "You may have turned your back on your mission, but we haven't." There was still no reaction from Angel, so Wesley turned to walk back up the stairs. "Someone has to fight the good fight." Angel threw the knife and barely hit the target. He blinked his eyes, then closed them. "Let them fight the good fight. - Someone has to fight the war." He opened his eyes, then threw - Bullseye. The screen turned to black.
"Every time someone tries to win a war before it starts, innocent people die", Summers said with a grim look. "Every time."
"Any innocent people died in this?" Buffy asked with a gulp, already knowing the answer.
"They did", Rosenberg told her grimly as she had her head in hands, rubbing her head.
"Angel may be a badass, but he's no longer the likable guy he was", Dawnster muttered.
"I can see that", Xander sighed.
"I guess the next few are more of Angel being a dick", Willow said and got nods.
"Yeah, but there is something to cheer you up a little in the next one", Summers said to her younger self, who looked mildly curious.
"What will cheer me up after all this?" Buffy asked. "Unless Angel comes to his senses in the next one, I don't think I'll be cheered up by anything."
"Be prepared to be proven wrong", Dawn said to her with a smirk.
"Really?" Buffy asked, surprised by her confidence.
"Really", Maclay said to her.
"Well then", Buffy sighed as she came to the next recording.
Steve's line in AoU is just too amazing and poignant, so I managed to put it in here.
I didn't like the Dark Angel, but it did have a great start with the Angel/Darla Trilogy, and a great finish in the 2x15-2x16 Duology, but the middle portion was trash. Though Angel was a total badass in this episode.
Anyone knows what's gonna cheer Buffy up in the next episode? *winks*
Hope all enjoyed and see you all next time with another chapter. Stay safe from the coronavirus ya all!
